Duval grabbed Mephisto like a rag bag, pouring his concepts into him, constantly refining the tattered ancient demon.
The next second, amidst countless horrified gazes, a new alien burst forth from Mephisto's body.
From the moment of its birth, this creature, created by Duval's own hands, let out a shrill cry.
Rich demonic power surged frantically from this alien, possessing terrifying potential. It immediately sought to establish a connection with the broader Hell dimension, rapidly adapting to and mastering its very rules.
This was a natural-born god, not at the pinnacle of strength, but of sufficient stature. If nothing unexpected happened, it would only be a matter of time.
This was precisely why so many people were terrified.
"What a monstrosity... It can even parasitize a demon of Mephisto's caliber! Born from Mephisto, it inherits a significant portion of his power. If given more time, it could accumulate even more demonic power and acquire even more dimensional power..."
"Unbelievable! If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed such a creature existed! This is like some kind of rule. Damn it! This conceptual god is using the racial characteristics of living creatures as the rules of the world, and it's fucking successful!"
"This is wrong, terribly wrong. Even if this thing could parasitize the Father, I wouldn't have said anything, but it can actually parasitize a god, especially one as supreme as Mephisto?! Is this truly something a creature of mortal origin could do? It's countless times more evil than a demon!"
Witnessing how Duva robbed Mephisto of his power, the great demons were horrified.
Before, they had at most been wary of Duva, fearing he would linger in Hell and launch a war against all the dimensions of Hell.
But now, his gaze toward Duva was filled with deep fear.
Today, Duva could draw power from the defeated Mephisto in this way, effectively creating another alien version of Mephisto. If Hell erupted in a dimensional war like so many in the past, wouldn't that mean that every great demon Duva slew would give him another Cosmic God under his command?
The prospect of growing stronger with each battle, an endless accumulation of power, shocked everyone.
This was because possessing a Cosmic God-level demon shattered so many preconceptions.
"Are you surprised? I'm already a Concept God. Using my concepts to defeat the enemy, turning them into a shell that nurtured my concepts, isn't that a natural outcome?"
Duva reached out and stroked the powerful and potentially powerful alien to ever burst forth from its chest. Even Foster couldn't quite match it. With a cold gaze, he swept over every being lingering outside of Hell's dimension.
In the past, when dealing with Gnar or Dormammu, Duval lacked the ability to directly parasitize cosmic gods.
But now, with his ascension to conceptual godhood, not only does his reach expand, allowing him to freely "parasitize" any living being within his range, but he can even transform defeated gods into his own appendages after personally destroying their resistance.
Duval is embarking on an unprecedented path with his alien.
Even more horrifying for the archdemons is the fact that the broader rules of Hell acknowledge the alien that tore through Mephisto's chest and swiftly reacted.
"Eternity can recruit the likes of Kronos as vassals in many universes, and Death has the vast majority of Thanos followers across the multiverse. I've merely captured one defeated archdemon, not yet attacked all of them."
Duval thus simultaneously mastered the rules of Hell. At this moment, Hell, which should have rejected and opposed him, seamlessly merged with him and began to provide Duval with the power of the world itself.
Despite Duval's utter disdain for such things,
In Duval's eyes, the so-called dimensional power had limited effects. While it was certainly effective in defensive battles, it was just like the Infinity Stones. If used within a specific universe against a powerful enemy, they were truly supreme artifacts. The sheer difficulty Duval had in defeating the six-stone Ultron underscored just how powerful the Infinity Stones could be when used in the right place.
However, this very characteristic also meant that dimensional power could only be used within a specific area. Once outside that area, it was worthless. Its limitations were so significant that for an ambitious new god like Duval, it was destined to be a mere transitional tool.
He couldn't even look down on a pile of Infinity Stones, casually tossing them away. How could he possibly look at a shattered hellish dimension with any respect?
"Strange, what are you waiting for? Mephisto is dead, but a part of him remains. This is what I have for you... You have absorbed Mephisto's offspring and possess his bloodline. Now, it's time for you to become complete."
Duval shifted his gaze, opting not to allow his alien to devour Mephisto's corpse entirely, but to leave a portion.
After all, even without this part of the corpse, the potential of this unprecedented alien god remained undimmed. Duva could, at a conceptual level, draw upon the power of other aliens and imbue this one with all its might, allowing it to mature at an astonishing rate.
He did just that. Instantly, billions of aliens from across multiple universes erupted in a deafening roar, unanimously and in unison.
Those with sufficient skill could clearly see that beams of light emerged from each alien, transcending countless barriers and descending into this shattered hell, to be absorbed by the newly born alien god.
This alien, too, grew in strength at an incredible rate, its aura closely resembling Mephisto's, its power rapidly approaching!
"This, this, this..."
"It's too much, it's really too much. Are all concept gods like this? How powerful should the creator gods be?!"
"Don't mention the creator gods. I have been fortunate enough to see them being hung up and beaten by some natives in many universes... But then again, I guess those people are so powerful that they don't care about these at all."
"I finally understand how terrifying Duva is. Doesn't it mean that he can not only transform any alien into his own carrier, but also extract the power of all aliens to strengthen himself or an alien whose potential has not been exhausted? Like this one now?"
"The more aliens there are, the more massive Duva's concept, the stronger the power he can exert, and the more powerful aliens he can create... an infinite cycle system, unless one day, the entire multiverse can no longer bear the size of the aliens."
But by that time, Duva would probably have been promoted to the multiverse level, and could rival an entire multiverse on his own.
The demon Strange was also stunned by this scene, but he had already realized something. He stood out from the crowd, took a deep breath, and casually wiped out the energy particles around him that were vibrating due to the birth of the alien god.
This move alone made Doctor Strange of Universe 199999, who was not far away, stare blankly and secretly click his tongue. He couldn't do it so easily.
"Wanda, can you do it?" Doctor Strange asked the person from the same universe, somewhat unwillingly.
"Maybe... but I haven't seen my parallel universe self. Is he already dead? So it's hard to compare." Wanda only managed to slay a few demons, playing a minor role, and fulfilling her mission for Thanos—her only hope now was to find an opportunity to kill Thanos, but Thanos hadn't even entered Hell to join the fight.
Wanda, already in a foul mood, felt even more depressed and frantic, her demeanor icy and bitter.
Doctor Strange saw Scarlet Witch poised for a dark turn—perhaps already. He only needed to see the way Wanda stared at the alien god to understand her thoughts.
Was she planning to join forces with Duval? Hoping to gain even greater power and replace Thanos?
After all, her own abilities were far from enough to counter Thanos's domination of Universe 199999 with the twelve Infinity Stones. Without the Time Stone or any other powers, she couldn't resurrect Vision.
"Even if we manage to replace or even kill Thanos, so what? Thanos, as powerful as he is, is merely a servant of that god... Then, will you consider how to resist Duval? Or will you truly serve her and rush to the front lines if war breaks out?"
Doctor Strange lamented. Living in seclusion with her lover was clearly the life Wanda desired. If it ended up on a path of endless war, wouldn't that be putting the cart before the horse? What was the point of all this?
Under the gaze of the demons, the demon Strange approached Duval and, without hesitation, unleashed his magic, devouring Mephisto.
It was like enjoying a long-awaited feast, fueled by endless hatred.
With the exception of the rare, unseen visitor from Universe 199999, no one else, nor any demon, showed any discomfort.
Compared to the alien that burst from Mephisto's chest, this was nothing. Even the alien's chest-breaking was far more bloody and brutal than the demon Strange's magical absorption of Mephisto's remains.
For demons in particular, fighting and devouring each other is a daily occurrence.
They lamented that a half-human, half-demon devoured Mephisto.
"I remember. The Witch Heart Demon has been missing for quite some time. Perhaps he was devoured by this strange Stephen Strange."
One of the great demons immediately guessed the truth, his face filled with greed and regret.
They were destined to only reap the scraps of this feast, such as the shattered dimensions and the escaped demons. They had a chance to take some of the spoils.
Even more regrettable and fortunate was that Duval chose not to join Hell, instead focusing on managing the universes across the multiverse. Otherwise, after witnessing the birth of the alien gods, these great demons would have feared their own fate and likely formed an alliance, igniting a war in Hell.
Duval had no intention of becoming Hell's Satan, but the actions of these great demons under pressure might have forced him into that path.
Duval waited patiently, watching as the demon Strange absorbed Mephisto's remains, his body swelled and his soul damaged by indigestion.
"I don't understand why you're willing to grant me this, but I sincerely thank you for giving me this opportunity—after absorbing Mephisto's clone, there's no turning back."
Strange felt the power within him that should have belonged to Mephisto. Now, he could be considered a powerful Celestial Father. Whether he could become a Cosmic God, or even the weakest Cosmic God, depended on his ability to fully tap the limited power of Mephisto within him.
"If you seek revenge on your own, you'll never be able to kill Mephisto. It's better to completely replace him and rule this world for me."
Duval gestured down to his feet.
Although this hellish dimension was shattered, and the scattered parts were scrambled by demons,
what remained was enough for Strange to rule.
"Of course, I'd be happy to manage this sinful world ruled by Mephisto, but you clearly have someone more suitable."
The demon assimilated Mephisto's portion of power with strange and painful intensity, his blood-red eyes fixed on the alien god bathed in the demonic power of a god-level.
In just a few minutes, the alien had already grown to over three meters, actively utilizing the laws of the Hell dimension to accelerate its growth and development at an alarming rate.
"The multiverse is the core of my concern. While Hell is equally vast and contains many worlds, it is ultimately not the core of the world."
No matter how powerful Hell is, its peak is only a Cyttorak, and it never participates in major multiverse-level events.
But within the multiverse, multiverse-level gods abound, powerful individuals gather, and countless new and old concepts clash and merge fiercely.
That is the world Duva longs for.
As for Hell... Duval didn't want to waste too much energy and time arguing with these demons, unless he had the power to fight against Cyttorak. Otherwise, if he went too far, such as transforming several great demons into his vassal aliens at once, Cyttorak would most likely escape from the Crimson Hell.
At that time, Duval could only hold the Infinity Stones and the Infinity Sword, sitting in a specific universe, passively defending.
Duval brought several figures emitting a powerful aura, and took one last look at these demons. The glaring warning made these guys dare not act rashly.
"Now that Hell is resolved, I should start preparing some backup plans. If I go to DC and can't take care of Marvel with too much power, it will be troublesome..."
Chapter 176: Who gave you the courage, Duva?
If Duva didn't take the initiative in the near future, he'd already reached a critical juncture.
A single-universe-level conceptual god meant he was already the equivalent of a top-tier powerhouse below the multiverse level.
Even if a single universe emerged as a unique "single-universe omnipotent," like the three-in-one Sentinel from the 616 main universe, they wouldn't necessarily surpass Duva's current strength.
Duva's power is growing, and he commands a multitude of skilled warriors at all levels.
Now, there's even a demonic deity.
"Do you have a mission for me? I felt like you glanced at me."
Reynolds, standing beside Duva, aglow with golden light, perked up at Duva's fleeting gaze. "Should we take on those demons lingering in the distance? I can handle at least one of them..."
"No, nothing. There's nothing for you to do right now." Duva shook his head. While this Reynolds wasn't as good as the one from the main universe, he was a reliable figure, one he'd personally trained.
Countless xenos began to retreat like a flood, leaving this already shattered hell dimension.
Perhaps it would take many years for this shattered hell to breed a batch of low-level creatures like the Hellworms, and many more years for a sufficient number of low-level demons to emerge.
But that was no longer Duva's concern.
Even as he dispersed his power within Hell, the dark cloud that enveloped countless hellish dimensions lingered.
"Many xenos still remain in Hell."
"This is a perfectly normal outcome. He used Mephisto to create a god and a Heavenly Father, leaving the Heavenly Father to guard this shattered world and providing him with soldiers—a perfectly normal move." "
But even a perfectly normal move, when created by Duva, is abnormal. These seemingly ordinary xenos could become Duva himself at any moment... How can we rest easy? Has he truly left Hell, or not?"
The great demons, whose infamy resonated throughout countless universes, looked gloomy, their expressions filled with a deep sense of helplessness.
They somewhat understood Mephisto's complaints and grumblings about Dua, and even went a step further. If they had the opportunity to attack Dua before he became a god, they would act without hesitation like Mephisto, because the terrifying abilities displayed by Dua after he became a god really made the gods feel pain and envy.
"I've said it before, we should have united just now, plus Mephisto who hasn't turned into an alien yet. With so many demons like us attacking together, even if we can't kill Duva, the conceptual god, we can cut off his tentacles that extend into hell. It's enough to kill all the aliens in hell and block all the aliens from the multiverse outside hell."
"Nightmare, are you still asleep? Or have you been so close to Mephisto over the years that you have the illusion that you are in the same camp with Him?"
"Why, am I wrong? As long as we unite, Duva will never dare to do anything. Otherwise, after he killed Mephisto and had a useful god-level vassal, why didn't he free up his hands to deal with us immediately? He can obviously get stronger with fighting, right? It's because he's afraid of forcing us to unite!"
"Excellent! Insightful insights, Nightmare. You're an absolute genius, but there's a catch."
The other demons, each with a hideous, hideous expression, now revealed expressions of genuine admiration. "When have we ever been united?"
If they truly were united, what demons would they even be? Internal strife is the most glorious.
More importantly, Satan is fighting for his own position. They might as well happily support Cyttorak and hand over all the dimensional power of Hell to Cyttorak.
In this way, Cyttorak would unify all the power of Hell, becoming the true God of Hell. Perhaps he could challenge the four Creator Gods and the four Chaos Gods for dominance over the multiverse.
After a doomed argument, the great demons dispersed, meticulously managing their own worlds, guarding them against any alien intrusion.
Ultimately, these demons became supporting characters in this momentous event.
Since such a drastic change had occurred in Hell, concealing it was inevitable. This was no ordinary, single universe.
Soon, the news of Mephisto's tragic death, captured as a tool and used as raw material to create a monstrous Celestial, spread like a twin eternity, swiftly spreading across countless universes.
If a major event occurred in an obscure parallel universe, other universes, especially those with significant numbers, would likely remain oblivious and unconcerned. Their gods and heroes were already straining to quell the chaos within their own universes, let alone spare the time to save other worlds. Furthermore, there were no channels for learning about it.
But if such an event occurred in Hell, given its numerous dimensions and the notorious archdemon who regularly slipped into various universes to reap the spoils and increase their power, the gods of the multiverse would be utterly disgusted with Hell's demons. This
was especially true now, when the one who perished was Mephisto, the most notorious and powerful Archdemon, considered the second most difficult to kill.
Upon Mephisto's death, countless enslaved beings, who had signed indentures with him, were instantly freed.
Ghost Rider and others, for example, were the first to detect the unusual events and inquired, even actively seeking out low-level demons in Hell. From the surviving demons, they learned the devastating news that the Alien God Dua had invaded Hell and violently slain Mephisto.
Even more astonishing was the fact that this Alien God, of unknown origin and power, had fought across realms, used Mephisto to create a Celestial being, and recruited him as his subordinate.
This process, more bizarre than mythology, was fraught with mystery and spread like wildfire, shocking countless universes from the outset.
Countless people rejoiced, while countless Celestials were stunned, eager to seek information about the Alien God.
However, after searching, they were met with complete bewilderment.
"What kind of creature is an alien? I've never heard of it."
"From what the low-level demons that escaped Hell say, aliens are a terrifying parasitic race with no weaknesses. They can parasitize anything from animals to cosmic gods, selecting the best genes within their hosts to be born with even greater potential than theirs."
"I tried to contact some great demons, but received no response. They all refused to discuss any news of the alien god." "It seems the demons were terrified. What about Cyttorak? Never mind, let's not talk about him. I imagine he's still as still as ever, as if he were dead..."
"Watch your wording. Cyttorak is, after all, a higher-ranking deity above us. Perhaps someone like Duva, who dared to launch a massive attack on Hell and slew his Concept God at Mephisto's base, could say so, but we can't."
More and more gods, demons, cosmic monsters, and other bizarre beings began to search for information about the aliens.
Logically, a race that could give rise to a Concept God must have a very high upper limit, and a relatively low lower limit. This further suggests that this race shouldn't be unknown, and likely has incarnations in numerous universes.
Such a terrifying race, led by a mysterious and unknown Concept God, even if they didn't roam across countless universes like the Annihilation Zerg, at least traces of them would be found.
But the search yielded nothing. The vast majority of universes contained no information about the aliens.
This was abnormal.
At least within the numbered universes, information about the Aliens is difficult to find.
While the MCU's smaller multiverses might be aware of Duva and the Aliens, the MCU's main universe has long been ravaged by Duva. Unless the native gods of this main universe band together to clear the Alien instance, the future of this universe is sealed, and it will refuse to be infiltrated by non-Alien gods.
Furthermore, the cosmic community centered around Universe 199999, with its sparse population, weak gods, and low power system, has rarely received much attention.
That is, until someone wandering the multiverse discovered something in the universe of the Kongsu Era.
Large numbers of Aliens are also returning to the Kongsu Era universe.
"So that's how it is. The natives of this universe have actually largely defected to Duva. Among the legions that followed Duva into Hell, some are from this universe..."
An observer, piloting his own spaceship, swiftly and purposefully shuttled through the multiverse. He had been doing this long before Duva's attack on Hell, having crossed one supervortex after another, arriving here.
"Outsiders, leave! This is not a world you can tamper with."
A bright moon rose, and a god wielding a scythe, wearing a crow mask and classical robes, warned in a cold yet confident voice: "This is the universe protected by me—the Moon God Khonsu. It's also a world favored by the Alien God Duva. If you decide to do anything, you'd better consider the consequences... Think of what happened to Mephisto."
Moon God Khonsu?
Watu knew of this god, of course, but in the infinite multiverse, in the order of all individual universes, Moon God Khonsu was merely a minor deity.
Let alone the Creator Gods and the Celestials, even the Celestials, or even the Fathers of the World Tree, are barely comparable.
"So this numbered fringe universe has become Dua's territory? That's even stranger. I can find places like this, but why haven't I found his birthplace? I've been wrong so many times."
Before the Moon God's eyes, the Observer Frog unleashed his high-tech equipment, puffed out his massive head, and began recording on the spot.
"So you're an Observer? There are no major events in our universe for you to observe."
"That's not important. I can see you're confident, the most confident Moon God I've ever met. Who gave you the courage? Dua?"
"Exactly. You seem to have dealt with Dua before," the Moon God, Kongsu, replied cautiously. He was reluctant to interact with the Observers, a group too secretive and with a somewhat peculiar way of doing things.
"You don't seem to be an alien? This just proves that Duva has made even more astonishing progress. Mephisto is dead, but he protects Duva in another form. Yet, he allows a god like you to act freely... It seems you've become an independent vassal under his command, which is not a bad thing."
The Observer said, bypassing the Moon God and entering this universe directly. He wanted to find an alien and then locate Duva's base.
"I thought that after completing the handover with my own kind and completely leaving Universe 199999, finding Duva would be easy, but I didn't expect it to cost so much effort... I roughly guess the reason, and it's even more incredible. Duva actually originated from a mediocre universe without even a number? The rules are incomplete, the heroes are scarce, the gods are incomplete... How did he do it?"
Observer Watu's eyes were almost shining, a sign of a hobby being satisfied, an interest magnified to the extreme.
The Moon God Kongsu followed closely, not deliberately trying to stop him.
"You seem to know Duval, and have dealt with him before."
"Yes, we're comrades... perhaps. We once fought side by side. He helped me solve a difficult robot problem. But I've only seen him in a trance, transported to the body of an alien, never his true form... perhaps he no longer has a true form. It's a shame I didn't record the moment he became a conceptual god. That should have been my responsibility, as I was the first observer to discover him."
Wa Tu had his hands behind his back, countless lights flashing rapidly in front of his large head, forming words as he recorded them. But at that moment, he raised one hand and slapped himself on the head, wanting to slap himself in frustration.
Wa Tu had already made up his mind: after meeting Duval this time, he would cling to him no matter what, and permanently reside in the universe where Duval resided, to facilitate his observation work.
At the same time, as an observer, he felt the need to do something more necessary than observation itself.
He would assign a number to this universe, which had given birth to Duval and was destined to be no more ordinary. Otherwise, he would have no way of recording it, no way of referring to it at all.
"However, I can't rely on my own strength to assign numbers, and I don't want to find other observers... If I hadn't returned to my tribe to hand over the affairs of Universe 199999 to other observers, how could I have missed so much? As a result, after the handover, I can't even return to Universe 199999, which resulted in such a long time being wasted."
Frog grumbled, wondering if it was necessary to use the artifact around his neck...
the Observer Badge.
Chapter 177: Spider Alliance.
Strictly speaking, Wa Tu couldn't be considered a true multiverse-level deity.
If any capable member of the Observer Clan were a multiverse-level being, then that clan would be too extraordinary. Could they mass-produce multiverse-level beings?
They could even compete with the Transcendent Gods.
Therefore, Wa Tu, for better record-keeping, decided to use the upper number. Otherwise, the information he recorded and transmitted back to the clan wouldn't be clear on how to designate Duva's universe.
"But the Observer Badge is too valuable. Even though I only have half... I need to check in with Duva before using it."
Wa Tu entered the Kongsu Era Universe and found an alien. "
So, you've been looking for me... Then you're unlucky to have missed a great event."
Duva immediately understood what he was trying to achieve.
Watu looked at the alien before him. "If I missed it, I missed it, but it won't be like this again. I plan to assign a number to your universe. The world that gave birth to the Concept God cannot remain mediocre; it deserves to be included in the gods' vision."
"That's a good idea. Before I attacked Mephisto, I actually contacted Cyttorak and was working on this."
"That guy is completely unreliable. Otherwise, you would have had a universe number long ago, and I wouldn't have been able to find your base, let alone miss the entire process of you killing Mephisto."
Watu complained, removing half of the Observer Badge from his chest. After enveloping and analyzing the alien, the badge flashed and carried Watu to Dua's world.
A universe filled with countless aliens, rapidly transforming into Dua's shape.
Countless gods throughout the multiverse were searching for this place, but to no avail.
"Khonsu and his chosen Moonlight Knight were able to find me and help me deal with Mephisto." In the conference room, Duva looked at the uninvited Watu. "But they were chasing Mephisto's clone all the way here. It's a stroke of luck that they didn't get lost."
"So, Mephisto was the luckiest one. He just happened to be passing through a universe he hadn't intended to pay attention to, but he was lucky enough to encounter a rapidly developing Concept God, and ended up losing himself."
Watu felt annoyed and wanted to slap himself at the mere thought of such a possibility. He had missed so much worth writing about.
Duva's cross-dimensional attack on Hell and his powerful slaying of Mephisto was far more exciting and significant than the one that killed the Six-Gem Ultron.
After all, Mephisto was fighting on home turf, and Duva didn't have regional artifacts like the Infinity Stones to use.
"But Cyttorak has done half the job. He observed this world and tentatively determined its location. For the multiverse itself, nothing can increase the possibilities more than confirmation by a multiverse-level deity. Now it's my turn..."
Watu held up half of the Observer Badge, which caught Duva's attention.
This thing was a genuine multiverse-level artifact.
Even the Eternal Destruction Talisman would seize it immediately upon escaping. It contained immense power, allowing it to manipulate the universe, restructure spacetime, and deconstruct dimensions.
But now, Watu was willing to use this level of artifact in an attempt to formally determine this universe and complete Cyttorak's unfinished work.
"Multiverse..." Duva stared at the vibrations emanating from the half badge. He wasn't coveting the artifact itself, but rather his anticipation for the multiverse-level entity.
A single glance from a multiverse-level deity could rewrite the internal structure of a single universe, distorting or even instantly reconstructing its very rules, history, and meaning.
A multiverse-level artifact wouldn't be much different, even if it wasn't wielded by a true multiverse god.
From this half of the badge, a strange beam of light instantly erupted, covering the entire universe from its most basic structure. The entire process lasted only a moment.
Using a multiverse-level artifact to manipulate a single universe was incredibly easy.
Even if Watu could only partially unleash the power of this half of the badge, determining this universe's position within the multiverse was a piece of cake.
This movement, which began at the bottom of the structure and then spread to the correction of cosmological constants and parameters, was immediately perceived by some of the universe's top gods.
After carefully touching the framework of the universe and interpreting the changes, they immediately understood what was happening.
"This is the power of the Observers. These guys are actually intervening! How bizarre! Observers are actually coming to our universe?"
"How interesting! Observers have always advocated observing without interfering, but now, someone with a powerful artifact has appeared out of nowhere and intervened without even saying hello."
"That Observer had actually already made their announcements, first reaching an agreement with Duwa, and then using the artifact... Tsk, Duwa is truly sought-after. These outsiders are either trying to kill him or get close to him."
Many gods, existing as the rules of the universe, could only patiently await the outcome, regardless of their own motives.
They couldn't afford to provoke Duwa—even the Creator Gods who could, had no interest in fighting him at this crucial moment of elevating the universe's status—and they certainly couldn't afford to provoke the Observer, Watu, who was currently operating. If they
were truly provoked, would they confront an Observer of noble birth wielding an unknown artifact? No kidding, they'd be killed.
As for the observers not observing, that wasn't something they could get involved in.
"It's done. It seems quite a few cosmic gods are paying attention to our actions, but thankfully, they haven't done anything. This fully demonstrates your status in this universe."
Wa Tu retracted his half of the badge and hung it around his neck again, adorning himself like a beautiful pendant.
"Numbering won't do them much harm. It's not a good idea to make enemies with you and me."
Duva looked at the four or five-meter-tall big-headed doll in front of him: "But the numbering process is much faster than I expected."
"It's not a difficult task. As long as you use the power that surpasses the single universe to identify this universe in the multiverse, it will be fine. If you rely on yourself, it will certainly be difficult for the conceptual god born from this universe to do this, but for Setorak and me, it only takes a little time."
The tone of the observer Watu was still indifferent, but the speed of his speech was much faster, which further proved his change in mood: "Now you have no reason to avoid my observation... Alien God."
"As you wish, Observer, you have helped me a favor, and I am happy to do something."
Duva smiled and nodded. Being observed by the Observers? Honestly, that wasn't something unacceptable. Not to mention him, even those multidimensional beings, when a major event unfolded, would have Observers watching from a distance. No one with a bad temper would go out of their way to wipe out the Observers.
Even though the Observers weren't actually as unintentional as they claimed, never interfering in the progress of major events. Furthermore, Duval would only allow Watu to see what he allowed him to see.
As for what he didn't allow, Watu wouldn't be able to see even a smattering of it, even if he bashed his head to pieces... For example, his plan to sneak into the DC multiverse.
But to accomplish this, the first prerequisite was to assign a number to his universe.
Having a number wasn't the goal in itself; blending into the vast sea of numbered universes and finding themselves in the same sequence was the goal.
"Quick, quick, what terrifying action are you going to take next? I can't wait to see, because you rarely do anything unnecessary. I don't believe you'd contact Cyttorak specifically just to get a number. Your goal is so simple."
"No action, for now... I seek stability."
Duval smiled faintly. Under Watu's suspicious gaze, he sensed the rapid formation of this universe's number. This was the system coordinate of a single universe within the multiverse, and the number itself was a confluence of countless pieces of information.
"Let me see what number it is..."
Duval vaguely remembered that the highest number in the Marvel multiverse seemed to be over 190 million.
That universe is a cyberpunk future, where heroes and villains team up in gangs.
But the maximum number of over 190 million doesn't mean there are over 190 million numbered universes. Even if you include the vast majority of universes with only temporary numbers, that number wouldn't reach that.
The gods couldn't possibly have so many worlds under their watch.
"1543681? An ordinary number. Is that the number of my world? I'll remember it."
Duva slowly opened his eyes, then remained silent under Watu's expectant gaze.
One remained silent, the other observed, both extremely patient. Barring any unexpected events, this process would last eons... That would be a miracle.
Even if nothing unexpected happened, Duva would unleash his initiative and create a series of surprises. He couldn't bear to waste his precious life waiting.
Becoming a conceptual god took Duva years. Even if that time was limited to a single universe, it was still an incredibly short period of time in the grand scheme of the multiverse.
Duva had fully anticipated the journey to a higher rank. He might spend tens of thousands of years, or even, in certain areas, eons, before any progress was made.
"Well, it's about time I do something..."
Duva glanced at the large head across from him, only to find it was staring blankly at him. A myriad of information was flowing through him. Clearly, the frog was observing other areas, diligently searching for information to record.
If Duva made a move, he would follow immediately.
...
Veland Building, 23rd floor underground.
"Still ready, esteemed Dr. Stern? I'm waiting for you now."
The druid entered the laboratory with a sullen expression.
As Duva's self-proclaimed diehard fan, even after Duva's rise to Concept God, the druid's fervor for him remained at an all-time high. He now believed they were one step closer to the world he desired.
"Stop making so much noise! You should ask my assistant, that damn Brick! I think I know why this bastard came to us. He's not very capable, and he can't make it in S.H.I.E.L.D. or Hydra anymore!"
Mr. Lan was extremely irritable. His temper had been bad recently, and it was also because Duval had become a conceptual god, which meant that he had even less chance. Was everything he was thinking about already within Duval's concept, capable of being analyzed by Duval in real time?
"I won't listen to your reasons, because they're all excuses." A fierce gleam in the Druid's eyes. If he had Mr. Lan's superior intelligence, he would have thrown himself into the great cause of serving Duval, instead of being like now. Mr. Lan actually had time to defend himself. Damn it!
"I don't understand why we're using the genes of a mutant high school student to create an alien. You're in such a hurry."
"Urgent?" Druid raised his voice. "It's already been three minutes since Dewar gave the order!"
"Fuck! Why don't you just bring the Time Stone and speed up my research?" Mr. Blue cursed. He was fed up with Druid's idiotic fanboy.
Druid turned and left. He really meant to do that, but Mr. Blue had quickly used his ever-expanding gene pool to successfully breed a unique alien.
Using the DNA of the deceased Peter Parker as a template, he created this alien through direct genetic integration.
From Mr. Blue's perspective, he couldn't see why this guy was so worrying. It would be better to create a few more vampire aliens from Dracula. Any of them wouldn't be much stronger than this guy in front of him.
Peter Parker. Mr. Blue had never met this person, but he knew there was such a person in Universe 199999, a kid who loved wearing nano armor.
...
At the same time.
Universe 13.
"Hey guys, I've miraculously found another new universe, numbered... 1543681! We have people in this universe too!"
A Spider-Man whistled, excitedly clenched his fist, and waved it fiercely at the air.
The Spider-League had just been established, and in order to fight those vampires, many Spider-Men had united and were looking for help.
They didn't want anyone else, but Spider-Men from various parallel universes.
Now, they had luckily found a new universe, and perhaps they would have another comrade in the League.
Chapter 178: I know who Spider-Man #1543681 is!
"1543681? I've never heard of that universe number,"
Ultimate Spider-Man said in a cold voice. Essentially, he's Doctor Octopus from Universe 616. During a battle with Spider-Man from Universe 616, to avoid his own death, he chose to swap bodies with Spider-Man.
This operation resulted in the death of Spider-Man from Universe 616, but Doctor Octopus's consciousness entered Spider-Man #616's body, allowing him to survive.
The downside is that Doctor Octopus's mind was assimilated by Spider-Man, becoming a fierce yet righteous man. He decided to live as Spider-Man and fulfill his duties.
Ultimate Spider-Man was instrumental in the formation of the Spider-League. He was the initiator, first discovering the continuous death of Spider-Men from parallel universes. He then traveled across universes to rescue those attacked by the Inheritors, attempting to build an army of Spider-Men to fight against the Inheritors.
"Hey, man, don't always act so stern. It's not endearing. No one knows how many parallel universes there are. Isn't it normal for you not to know?"
Six-Armed Spider-Man's extra arms were perfect for swiftly maneuvering the complex space-time shuttle. He even had two hands free to type on the keyboard while taunting Ultimate Spider-Man.
"Don't say that. At least he saved a lot of us," the murderous Shadow Spider-Man said gravely.
"True, but we've nearly been wiped out more than once when we followed his lead! Have you forgotten how dangerous our trip to Universe 2818 was? We had the advantage in numbers, yet we were nearly wiped out by a mere three vampires!" Six-Armed Spider-Man's voice trailed off. "Besides, even without him, I wouldn't necessarily have lost to the Inheritor who attacked me... They're not immortal, are they?"
"I didn't see you this tough when you fought the Inheritor," the other Spider-Man said sarcastically.
"Ha, as tough as you, the Mechanical Spider-Man from Universe 2818 who ditched his human body and transformed himself into a robot?"
"...This is the first time I've realized that my parallel universe self actually has species discrimination. I think the Tyrannosaurus Rex Spider-Man, the Cat Spider-Man, the Pig Spider-Man, the Monkey Spider-Man, the Spider-Swarm, and myself—if we even have a Zombie Spider-Man—should unite to take you down first. This will save us some effort for the various special Spider-Men who will join us in the future, and it will also ensure the internal unity of our alliance." As
Mechanical Spider-Man spoke, bumps and dents suddenly appeared on his seemingly normal body, revealing mechanical devices.
Like a Transformer.
None of the Spider-Men present looked surprised. They had seen plenty of bizarre parallel universe versions of themselves in recent times.
Mechanical Spider-Man was still a relatively "normal" robot. They also knew a guy who drove a Gundam, but he wasn't here right now.
But they had to stop it. After all, not every Spider-Man was a good neighbor. There were plenty of bad-tempered, petty, and malicious Spider-Men, and the other Spider-Men had to do everything they could to prevent the civil war.
Especially Norman Spider-Man, hiding in a corner, desperately hoping for the deaths of many, secretly fanning the flames.
The next second, Norman Spider-Man was grabbed by the scruff of the neck and flung out by Ultimate Spider-Man.
Ultimate Spider-Man felt like he didn't fit in with all the other Spider-Men. He hated Peter Parker, and the vast majority of people here were Peter Parker, all buzzing around like flies. The more people there were, the louder they were, like a swarm of flies.
To make matters worse, he was now Peter Parker, a Spider-Man.
It was truly ironic.
"I can't be mistaken. I began my secret investigation long before you guys were attacked by the Inheritors. I've personally traveled to many universes and met many deceased Spider-Men. When it comes to understanding parallel universes, none of you combined can compare to mine!"
Ultimate Spider-Man's voice was icy, suppressing his inner irritation as he carefully considered this number, which he had no memory of.
Every universe number is not meaningless. Within this string of numbers, a vast amount of information, such as the structure of space-time, multidimensional coordinates, and even the characteristics of species, is naturally contained.
Parallel universe isotopes from different universe numbers, such as the Spider-Man present here, even if two identical Peter Parkers were found on the spot, biologically, their genes were identical, but a more advanced space-time machine would only need to examine their genes to detect unique hidden information and determine which universe they came from.
This is the purpose of the universe number.
The content of the universe number has long been embedded in all visible and invisible things in this universe.
Ultimate Spider-Man immediately began to operate the space-time shuttle.
He had built this machine using technology from the year 2099 in Universe 616, or perhaps even from the future of Universe 666?
He immediately entered a large number of numerical values and began calculating.
"Hey, you stole my job? Wasn't it agreed that I'd be operating the time-travel machine?"
"No one understands my machine better than I do... The results are in, and they're not good news: Before forming the League, I tracked down the Inheritors and discovered this universe. I also confirmed that the Inheritors had killed Spider-Man in this universe," said Ultimate Spider-Man.
"Perhaps you're wrong. Perhaps Spider-Man 1543681 successfully fought off the Inheritors, just like I did," said Robo-Spider-Man.
"That's not the point." Ultimate Spider-Man suddenly raised his voice, confusion thick in his voice. "The point is, I clearly remember this universe not having a number before, but now it does, and there's a Spider-Man who should have been dead!"
The same universe, previously unnumbered and visited by the Inheritors, should have been dead, but now, inexplicably, it has a number again, and there's another Spider-Man?
All the noisy Spider-Men fell silent, their faces beneath their masks filled with surprise and confusion.
While there were many who disliked the Ultimate Spider-Man, no Spider-Man would doubt his talent with time and space.
No one asked if he had calculated two completely different universes into one.
The truth was about to be revealed, as they discovered that the time machine was still functioning, and a Spider-Man from Universe 1543681 was about to travel back in time.
"This might be good news. Maybe you overlooked it, and the Spider-Man from Universe 1543681 managed to survive, faking his own death, or perhaps even using the 'molting' skill, to deceive the Successor."
"I'm guessing Universe 1543681 is technologically advanced. At least the Spider-Man from this universe possesses advanced technology that can detect our search and reverse-locate our location." Eyes darted over, and some of the Spider-Men at the forefront tensed their bodies, bracing themselves for action.
Spider-Man #13, widely acknowledged as the most experienced and formidable of all Spider-Men, and Captain Universe, took the lead, floating to the front of the group, a surge of cosmic power brewing.
No matter how powerful the incoming force, even an Inheritor, Captain Universe was confident he could crush them with a single blow.
Don't ask why he was so confident; it simply stemmed from his position as Captain Universe #13, commanding immense cosmic power.
Although he had yet to battle any Inheritor, he had no idea how powerful they truly were.
As spacetime rippled, a figure emerged from the time-traveling machine, traversing the boundless expanse of spacetime, leaping through countless supervortexes, arriving at Universe #13, the headquarters of the Spider-League.
As the dazzling light faded and the ripples subsided, the Spider-Man of Universe #1543681 emerged in full form.
All the Spider-Men present were stunned upon seeing him, their faces filled with deep bewilderment.
They discovered that this creature, clad in the classic red and blue Spider-Man suit, stood less than three meters tall, yet his skull seemed two meters long. To say his skull reached his waist was an understatement.
His arms, slender yet bursting with explosive power, were clearly different from those of a human in terms of skeletal structure. Especially that incredibly agile, knife-like tail, sweeping back and forth as if with just the slightest effort, it could create a sonic boom.
"Who is this guy...? Is he from an unknown cosmic race? Or some animal I've never heard of?"
"I've never seen anything like this. What's his origin? Did he also become Spider-Man after being bitten by a genetic spider? Or maybe, like Tyrannosaurus Rex Spider-Man, he transformed from a pterosaur into a Tyrannosaurus Rex?"
"Hahaha, good news. Six-Armed Spider-Man has another one he dislikes."
The vast high-tech base was quiet for a second before it erupted into a clamor again. With the exception of a few fierce and cold-blooded individuals like Scarlet Spider and Shadow Spider-Man, most of the other Spider-Men began to buzz with chatter, displaying their chatty nature.
Confirming this strange figure was also Spider-Man, many Spider-Men immediately approached, maintaining a safe distance of one or two meters, loudly commenting and expressing their opinions, as if pointing at treasures in a display case or explaining the museum to a stranger.
Ultimate Spider-Man, however, acted strangely. He studied the unfamiliar Spider-Man closely, feeling as if he'd seen him somewhere before, but where exactly?
This was a rare occurrence for Ultimate Spider-Man, possessing a supreme intelligence and possessing the ability to utilize Peter Parker's intelligent body. He should have immediately recalled everything he'd memorized.
This was a standard skill for highly intelligent people, but now, he couldn't recall it, feeling as if some cognitive barrier was blocking his mind.
"Guys, I have an announcement to make: We've been discussing this, but our newcomer has remained silent, observing us quietly. I suggest we let this newcomer introduce himself first."
Spider-Monkey nimbly leaped onto the head of Tyrannosaurus Rex Spider-Man, giving the pensive Ultimate Spider-Man a serious look.
Spider-Monkey couldn't figure out when, exactly, so many people had started treating Ultimate Spider-Man like the boss, and he disagreed.
After a while, the Spider-Mans stopped arguing, and everyone's attention was focused on Spider-Man #1543681.
Under the gazes of the crowd, Spider-Man #1543681 responded, majestically extending its long, bizarre arms. Several sharp claws slowly unfurled from its palms, like some kind of arthropod.
It began to address the numerous Spider-Men from the multiverse.
"Hiss! Hoo! Hiss!!"
After a moment's silence, thunderous applause erupted.
"Great, great, that's excellent! I've never heard such a brief yet brilliant speech. It felt like so much was said." "
Even though it was only three notes, I truly felt the passion of this comrade."
"Wait, am I the only one who didn't understand anything? When did you guys learn an extra language behind my back?"
"What? You don't understand either? Damn it! I thought everyone understood, so I pretended to understand too, to avoid looking out of place!"
"I'm so ashamed of your behavior! Pah! The multiverse version of the Emperor's New Clothes, huh?"
Seeing the conflicting Spider-Men, their heads butted together, ready to fight.
Ultimate Spider-Man's brow furrowed, his gaze fixed on Spider-Man #1543681. Finally, a flash of light struck him, and he seemed to understand.
"I remember... I remember! I haven't seen this creature, but Peter Parker has!"
Ultimate Spider-Man frantically searched the memory banks of this body, searching for the brief information, his face filled with disbelief.
"I remember, the group of powerful otherworldly beings who defeated and captured Kul, the God of Terror, and quelled a major incident for Universe 616!"
In Ultimate Spider-Man's memory, Peter Parker was present, watching helplessly as these creatures, transcending time and space, arrived and, in front of the gods and heroes of the 616 main universe, beat Kul, the once invincible snake, who had become ragged after a trip, to a near-crippling state, and then brutally captured him!
The scene was incredibly shocking. Simply by sending out eight Skyhammer Lords, Kul had turned Earth and even the World Tree upside down. Everyone expected many to die, but the source of the disaster, Kul himself, had encountered an unspeakable, horrific crisis in a parallel universe, unable to escape!
"How could this be... originally unnumbered, but now suddenly numbered... a member of that creature, what on earth..."
Ultimate Spider-Man felt a chill run down his spine, as if he were sinking into an icy cave.
Chapter 179: Let me have a bite!
No one could understand the turmoil Ultimate Spider-Man was feeling right now.
He'd simply recruited some of the incredibly annoying Peter Parkers to his side to fight the even more irritating vampires, just to prevent himself from being killed alone.
Now, after trying to recruit them, he'd accidentally stumbled upon a being far more terrifying than a vampire—strictly speaking, it had somehow reverse-located them and forcibly traveled through time.
Normally, the Spider-Men would team up and proactively search various universes for people.
Ultimate Spider-Man, seeing this dangerous creature in a spider suit, found it incredibly awkward.
What was the point? He didn't expect it to spurt silk from its wrists anyway.
Ultimate Spider-Man quietly retreated and blended in with the other Spider-Men.
In reality, the arrival of Alien Spider-Man had little impact on the relatively new team, as no one knew the Alien.
There were no Spider-Man #199999 or anyone else who knew the Alien.
An alien with Spider-Man's genes successfully infiltrated the Spider-League and was initially accepted by everyone except Ultimate Spider-Man.
The Spider-Men were still nervous and panicked, but any Spider-Man who stood up to the Inheritors was a hero and a comrade worth winning over.
Genes couldn't deceive anyone; they were certain this alien, having successfully passed the automatic detection system on the time-travel machine, was Spider-Man.
Duvall, through the perspective of the alien Spider-Man, observed the clamoring bugs with interest.
"So, that's how it is. Last time I was hunting Kul, I greeted the guys from Universe 616, and that left a deep impression on Ultimate Spider-Man. Do you remember now?"
Duvall glanced at the scene in Universe 13, noticed Ultimate Spider-Man's subtle movements, and guessed the reason.
In a daily routine filled with frequent encounters with gods, observing the bugs of the Spider-League was a fascinating spice.
The life of a Concept God is simply dull and tedious. What others see as a disaster, Duva sees as no problem at all.
From Duva's perspective, the clashes between Spider-Men and the Inheritors are nothing, mere playing house.
Even the renowned Spider-Men, like Captain Universe and the Gundam-driving Spider-Man, are dismissed by Duva.
Perhaps only Spider-Man's origin, the Spider-Totem, truly captures Duva's attention.
The power possessed by each Spider-Man is essentially derived from the Spider-Totem.
Indeed, if you must put it bluntly, the relationship between Spider-Men and the Spider-Totem is very similar to that between a magician and a multidimensional magical entity, the commonality being that their powers are borrowed from a higher being.
However, as the incarnation chosen by the Spider-Totem through the web of life and destiny, Spider-Man does not have to pay a price every time he uses his power, as does the magician.
This totemic power is also coveted by the Inheritors, a group of vampires who feed on the Spider-Totem within Spider-Man to enhance their own strength.
However, Duva had no intention of wasting time on the Spider-Totem. His Alien Spider-Man wasn't actually connected to the Spider-Totem in any way, nor did he possess the totem's power, only his own alien powers.
Duva had created this alien version of Spider-Man solely to further his own goals... The Spider-League and the Spider-Totem themselves were insignificant; finding his desired target through this multiverse organization was Duva's true purpose.
"Now it's up to these little Spiders to put on a show. They'll recruit more men and wage repeated battles against the Inheritors. In the process, I'll master their knowledge and decipher the web of life and destiny within them."
Duva reclined comfortably in the sun on a recliner. Now, he was only one step away from achieving his goal: finding the coordinates of a unique universe.
If he couldn't find that universe, he'd settle for finding a key individual.
The Spider-Man, who had infiltrated the Spider-League, sprang into action, approaching the computer and rapidly typing away, rapidly searching through the vast amount of information, but ultimately failing to find the desired Universe Number.
"No? That's right, this Spider-League isn't large enough."
Duva wasn't disappointed. Sure enough, the Spider-League, founded during the "Across the Universe" era, was truly massive.
There were tens of thousands of Spider-Men alone, and they'd even built a futuristic technological city.
The technology for determining Universe Numbers through genetic analysis was developed by the Super Spider-League.
But then again, dealing with the Inheritor wouldn't require such a massive effort, involving tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of Spider-Men.
Ultimate Spider-Man, closely monitoring the Alien's movements, was about to say something when he saw the time shuttle activate, and the Spider-Men who had gone out to retrieve the victim returned, causing him to frown.
"Damn it, again! Can you idiots stop acting on your own? It's killing us!! Your spider-smell is a natural indicator for those heirs!" Ultimate Spider-Man whipped his head around, furious at the group of Spider-Men coming through from the other side.
He was equally uneasy about the leader—Peter Parker from the 616 main universe.
Ultimate Spider-Man perceived this man as a Spider-Man from a past timeline of the 616 universe, the real Spider-Man who hadn't yet replaced his body and was still living in the past.
But in reality, he was from a timeline even further in the future of Ultimate Spider-Man, a future where the main universe Spider-Man had been resurrected and Ultimate Spider-Man, or Doctor Octopus, had voluntarily returned his body to the main universe Spider-Man.
"We need more manpower to deal with unprecedentedly powerful enemies. We don't even know how many parallel universes of us these guys have eaten, and what kind of powerful power they have accumulated."
The main universe Spider-Man looked at Doctor Octopus who was using his own body in front of him, with a very complicated expression under the mask: "You are obviously doing the same thing. I saw that you have a few newcomers on your side."
"I have an information blocker that I developed myself! But look at you guys, the spider smell on your body has drifted to countless dimensions! This is the difference between me and you. You always take things for granted, you are naive and childish! You don't even know how complicated the situation on my side is."
The Ultimate Spider-Man quickly glanced at the alien who was concentrating on retrieving information on the computer, and inadvertently revealed a deep fear, which was quickly noticed by the main universe Spider-Man.
A Spider-Man that even Otto feared? This was truly rare. The Prime Universe Spider-Man immediately became alert, observing carefully, and spotted several new figures among the large group of Spider-Men present.
But when he saw the alien with its back to the crowd, his muscles instantly stiffened. His previously silent Spider-Sense suddenly activated, screaming wildly as if he had encountered a natural enemy.
After all, this hadn't happened to him in his recent duel with an Inheritor. "You actually recognize it? That's a problem. Although we're both Spider-Mans from the main universe, you're supposed to be from a timeline long in my past. Why are you so familiar with it? Or are you actually from my future? My future self actually gave you my body back?"
Ultimate Spider-Man's brain was sharp, and he instantly grasped the logic. Shocked and furious,
he simply stopped pretending. It had only been a short time since Duval shocked the main universe, and Ultimate Spider-Man simply couldn't believe such a coincidence. This pesky Peter Parker before him came from the brief gap between that incident and the body swap with him.
Any coincidence, in the eyes of top scientists, is likely premeditated, especially when facing someone so intelligent and familiar.
"I'm not going to waste any time. Regardless of our grudges, our primary enemy right now is the Inheritors! Having such powerful individuals join us is a boon for our fragile alliance," Ultimate Spider-Man said quickly.
"True, but we must also be wary of the one who sent it as a scout, ultimately becoming a more formidable foe than the Inheritors themselves," said the Prime Spider-Man.
The conversation between the two Prime Spider-Men completely baffled the other Spider-Men.
After all, most Spider-Men firmly believed that only the Prime Spider-Men possessed the power to oppose the Inheritors.
This was natural, not only because one of the two Prime Spider-Men was the founder of the Spider-League, while the other had directly defeated an Inheritor, but also because many beings in the universe believed in the truth that, in the vast majority of cases, individuals originating from the Prime Universe always achieved extraordinary results, possessing power and willpower surpassing their counterparts in other parallel universes.
Previously, they had assumed that one of the two Prime Spider-Men was a clone, so they hadn't questioned it further.
But now, it seemed that only one was the real Spider-Man, and the other was a being occupying Spider-Man's body?
"Wow, it seems the situation in the Prime Universe is more complicated than we thought. A timeline war? A body-swapping game? That's even more troublesome than the parallel universe,"
Spider-Monkey scoffed, siding with the Ultimate Spider-Man.
"A talking monkey jumping around."
"What, damn bastard, you're nothing but a pig, and you're talking about me?"
"By the way, who is that strange Spider-Man that has you two Prime Universe Spider-Men so alert? Have you dealt with this Spider-Man before, or with the strange race he represents?"
The Spider-Men were generally highly intelligent, and one of them quickly grasped the crux of the matter.
But then, a powerful, sacred white light overwhelmed the entire crowd.
Captain Universe Spider-Man, not even bothering to don his mask, was enveloped in the mighty power of creation, floating in mid-air, forcibly interrupting the conversation.
"No matter where the Spider-Men among us come from or what their motives are, in my Universe 13, you all only need to do one thing: stay put. No one can have any evil intentions in my world."
Captain Spider-Man displayed immense confidence. Possessing cosmic power, he was a true god, capable of looking down upon the Spider-Men of other parallel universes.
However, the two Spider-Men from the main universe reacted rather coldly, which greatly displeased the overconfident man.
"But if we were to face that god..."
"Yes, it seems we have the same idea."
The two Spider-Men from the main universe replayed the previous scene:
from the dimensional rift, a terrifying, mysterious monster had forcibly snatched the miserable-looking giant snake, Kul, back as if it were a fleeing loach.
The scene was terrifying and shocking.
But now, no matter how they discussed it, they found that the alien Spider-Man remained silent, absorbed in research.
"God?" Captain Spider-Man looked at the alien in confusion.
"Great! So there's not only all this delicious food here, but also god-level spiders! Looks like I can finally feast! I haven't enjoyed such a feast in ages!!"
A spatial portal suddenly appeared, and several Heirs, baring their fangs, burst in.
This wasn't even conventional time travel, as a time-travel machine couldn't detect it, let alone defend against it.
"What?!"
"We've been hiding the coordinates of Universe 13 so well, how did the Heirs find them?"
"Maybe those damn vampires have mastered a technology more powerful than a time-travel machine and can pinpoint us, but how is that even possible?"
The Spider-Men shuddered, almost panicking.
Many of them had fought against the Heirs before, even losing companions.
"Vampire... I don't like that word. We just served the vampire Spider-Man to our table, making it seem like we're cannibalizing him."
The long-haired, burly man, Damons, gave a creepy grin.
"Where are the gods? Let me think. That useless Kahn killed a god, Spider-Man, in Universe 1771. I think his name was Al Parker. I'm so envious! Now I have a chance to devour a god!"
Any Spider-Man is destined for the Inheritors, even gods.
Through the Web of Life and Destiny, controlled by the Master Weaver of Universe 001, the Inheritors have easily located Spider-Man's whereabouts. They now use this Web to effortlessly enter Universe 13, greedily eyeing the food on display.
They first glance at Captain Universe, confirming he must be a god.
But then they wondered why, upon arriving, all these people were staring at the strangely tall Spider-Man.
Could he also be a god?
"Hahaha, I haven't detected any strong aromas of food yet, and I don't have any powerful divine powers. You seem to be very good at hiding. Let me take a bite and I'll know if you're a god!"
Damons took the lead, willing to give up Captain Universe just to get a taste of the alien.
