"The Beholder... I've never dealt with such a troublesome creature. But isn't there Vishanti? Even with so many Ancient Ones united, perhaps with a bunch of Stranges or other Sorcerers Supreme, such a powerful force could still suffer casualties. Could it be that Vishanti hasn't taken action?"
Duva hadn't noticed any major multiverse-wide changes, which meant that no multiverse-wide gods would start a war in the near future.
Within the multiverse, the gods of the Cthulhu clan were notorious, even more so than Mephisto. The Cancer Universe, the home base of the Cthulhu clan, was home to a multitude of tentacle monsters, known as the "Myriad Horned Ones."
No one, god, or universe itself, wanted to deal with the Cancer Universe. Just look at how terrible its name is: Cancer of the Multiverse. It's filled with freaks who have conquered death, possessing immortality and exceedingly strange qualities. No one wants to interact with them.
However, there are still some active groups roaming across the universes, fighting on the front lines against the Cthulhu concept.
The main force is the Ancient One and his ilk.
Duval looked directly at his old friend. "Given your personality, you wouldn't consider capturing an interesting vampire to amuse me and seize my power unless it were absolutely necessary."
"I have indeed met Vishanti and gained a great deal of knowledge and magic from him, but he seems to be preoccupied with more important matters and cannot spare the time to deal with the Beholder," the Ancient One said slowly. "Furthermore, it was the Beholder's clones and the numerous multi-horned beings they command who inflicted the most casualties on us."
"It's a sad story. Vishanti also has three parts. Without going into full-scale war with the Beholder, he couldn't send a god to free up his hands to help you?"
"Perhaps he has already helped, such as monitoring the Beholder's true form, forcing it to limit its use of power to create clones."
"That makes sense,"
Duval pondered.
Although Vishanti is the ultimate source of white magic and has a host of extremely powerful figures under his command, such as the Ancient One, Strange, Kruger, and others, Vishanti also has many opponents.
The god of black magic, Sithorn, certainly has a grudge against Vishanti. The serpent god, Set, was also a ruthless figure who devoured gods to grow his power, and was a nemesis of Vishanti.
And there's also the Beholder.
While it's true that the Triune Vishanti is composed of three gods, that doesn't mean Vishanti can split himself into three and take on three multiverse gods.
If he were truly that powerful, Vishanti wouldn't have trained so many Ancient Ones and Stranges as his subordinates.
"It's too early! For me now, it's too early to rashly get involved in your conflict."
Duval estimated that if he faced a multiverse-level being, he wouldn't be completely defenseless, but actually engaging in a conflict with a multiverse god would be a very difficult matter.
"You may not know, but when I killed Mephisto, I was already prepared for Cyttorak's intervention, and even obtained a Cyttorak-made crimson jewel in preparation," Duval said.
For him now, only matters involving the multiverse would make him so cautious. Being multiverse-bound wasn't enough to warrant Duval's attention.
"So, can I understand this: you do possess a method to defeat the Beholder?" Instead, the Ancient One's eyes lit up, a fiery emotion radiating from them, his entire demeanor becoming enthusiastic.
"Yes, but it's not what you imagine, and I certainly can't lend you my power. Instead of wasting your time on me, you should seek various avenues to borrow power from other multiverses."
"I don't need your power, but I hope to lend you a force to join my war against the cancerous universe. Those deformed creatures are spreading like a plague, already attacking many universes, and even parts of their cosmic laws have been infected, transforming them into deformed and insane."
"That's unfortunate. It sounds just like zombies." Duval listened, feeling that much of what he had said fit perfectly.
"In some ways, it's similar to how you expand your tribe, but you wouldn't go so far as to kill every human or god."
The Ancient One's expression was solemn. "Perhaps you don't know yet, but the Cancerous Universe is about to extend its tentacles into your territory. The neighboring universes of Universe 199999 have already been invaded by the Eye Demon's clone, and it won't be long before they notice Universe 199999."
"Well, what I hate most is this passive attack with little room for maneuver. Now it seems I need to formulate a plan for the Cancerous Universe."
Duval spoke this with a matter-of-fact attitude, as if facing multiversity head-on, while difficult and arduous, there was definitely a way to deal with it.
In any case, the Ancient One would never understand what Duval was planning.
"I'll lend you a group of aliens to assist you. Just in case, I've also assigned a Strange to Universe 199999 to prepare in advance. If even these forces can't withstand the Cancer Universe, I'll take action—if I can still attend to this side by then."
The battle against the Cancer Universe is completely different from the great battle against Hell.
In the Hell dimension, there's still no true demon god. Even if a demon ascends Satan's throne in the future, he'll at most be the King of Hell, not the supreme deity who unifies all concepts of Hell and demons.
Therefore, Duval could attack and kill Mephisto without hesitation, without having to worry too much about anything other than Cyttorak.
However, a full-scale confrontation with the Cancer Universe would be far more complex.
The monsters of the Crimson system are a chaotic and complex cluster of concepts, with multiverse-level monsters like the Beholder in charge.
A true encounter would be a clash of alien concepts against Crimson concepts, a clash of concepts that would inevitably involve a conceptual clash, with uncontrollable factors magnified infinitely.
It now seemed Duval would have to face the threat of the cancerous universe head-on.
A truly drastic breakthrough wasn't impossible, but it depended on how long it would take him to enter the DC Multiverse and how long it would take him to accumulate sufficient power there to return and defeat the monstrous monsters of the Cthulhu system.
"Time is running out. I must act," Duval issued a series of orders.
After careful consideration, he brought along Mephisto and Hyperion.
He couldn't predict what he would face after successfully entering the DC Multiverse. Even though he was a Concept God, his base was still within the Marvel Multiverse.
Crossing a multiverse, or one with similar rules, who knew what an alien Concept God would encounter. Bringing a small but powerful guard was a necessary precaution.
Duval immediately headed for Universe 833 and arrived at the headquarters of Captain Britain's Legion.
As he left, Observer Frog arrived, but was still too late.
"Don't try to shake me off this time. Whatever you do, I'll record it!" Frog's eyes gleamed fiercely as he glanced down at the Ancient One. "Is this related to you? Is this major event about dealing with Sithon or someone else?"
"Observer..."
The Ancient One exclaimed. This was the first time she'd seen an observer observe someone up close, and she'd never even heard of it before.
But Frog was clearly completely uninterested in the Ancient One. He diligently followed Duval's steps, rapidly traveling between universes. Duval's unnatural intrusion into Universe 833 alarmed the entire British Captain Corps.
A cacophony of alarms echoed throughout the world.
"Intruders!"
"It seems the cosmic coordinates we've been trying so hard to hide have been exposed. Where exactly did they come from?"
"The enemy is incredibly powerful. They've breached our surveillance systems in an instant. They must be a god from another world at the very least!"
"It's most likely not a dimensional god. I don't believe they could transport an entire dimensional world into Universe 833!"
A group of British Captains, ready for battle, gazed solemnly in one direction. There, a zone of spacetime distortion and widespread shattering was destined for the emergence of a terrifying invader.
Captain England, Captain Marshal, Captain Imperial...
Every one of these British Captains was empowered by Merlin and his daughter Roma, and each one was a formidable force.
"No matter who they are, we must strike them with a thundering blow immediately. We cannot allow anyone to disturb Her Majesty!"
The British captains all knew that Her Majesty was closely monitoring the endless universe and various hidden dimensions, and seemed to have made a very significant discovery.
Protecting Her Majesty was the duty of the British Captains.
Under the gaze of the British captains, Duval stepped out of the space-time tunnel.
His terrifying size caused the entire universe to suddenly pause upon his appearance, a momentary delay caused by the natural pressure of this outsider.
Following Duval's two selected guards, the Mephisto Alien, who possessed certain alien features, and the Hyperion Alien, who also broke into Universe 833, one on each side,
the entire British Captains were in an uproar.
"Three? One of them looks normal, but the other two are monsters."
"The energy detector exploded. At least two of these intruders are at the level of Cosmic Gods, whose exact strength is unfathomable. The other inhuman being must be on the level of a Heavenly Father, and a powerful Heavenly Father at that!"
"Quickly check their data. Our central nervous system should have a record..."
Immediately, the relevant staff went to operate the machine.
Normally, this task was performed by British Spider-Man, who had now joined the Spider-League in the fight against the Inheritors.
"Haven't you figured it out yet? Our universe's most advanced machine, how could it be so inefficient?! This is a top-tier technological artifact capable of monitoring the entire universe!"
"We've figured it out, and it's not looking good... We're in big trouble."
Quickly, a flood of information was transmitted to the brains of the various British teams, leaving them with visibly grim expressions, as if they had eaten feces.
"An Alien God? With an army numbering billions? He even has several subordinates who are considered god-level?"
"The most troublesome thing is that the enemy is a Concept God! Damn it, Concept Gods aren't necessarily the strongest, but they're definitely the most formidable! This means that even if we have the power to crush them, it's difficult to truly kill them! Are we going to have to endure their invasions again and again?"
The British teams present kept silent about any more demoralizing words.
The number of aliens is so terrifying, and they've spread across many universes... If a real battle breaks out, how can they ever kill them all?
Some British teams are already debating how to escape with the Queen, or perhaps find a way to contact Merlin and Roma? With this father and daughter around, they can surely defeat the aliens, right?
"I want to see Satonian," Duval said calmly, surveying everything in this world.
"Invading another world without permission and threatening to see its master is not a good way to greet someone,"
the Imperial captain said, about to organize the British teams for a charge.
"Enough. There's no need to resort to war."
"Your Majesty! Even if Merlin and Roma aren't here, we can still..."
"No, I know what you're thinking. There's no need. They're not here to invade us, though their methods are no different."
Queen Satonian emerged, escorted by several British troops. She looked up and met Duval's gaze.
"This is Satonian, ruler of Universe 833..."
Duval was meeting the Queen for the first time, and he was intrigued by this almighty cosmic observer.
But judging by her reputation, even Frog, a legitimate observer, couldn't compare to the Queen. Frog seemed even more like a sham.
The Queen's fate was also quite interesting. Along with the entire Universe 833, they inexplicably vanished from the multiverse, leading to the amusing trope of "British Spider-Man goes out for a fight and comes back to find his home gone."
"So you know who I am, perhaps having already observed all my information? Then you should know I came to you because your path is more reliable and doesn't involve any additional risks," Duval said.
"If every god from another world came to question the Queen like you, the entire multiverse would be in chaos! Alien God, you've set a terrible precedent. This is Pandora's Box!" Captain Imperial raged.
"No, only a very few humans and gods know the uniqueness of your Universe 833. Even if a group of them did arrive, it would be meaningless." Duva shook his head.
To the ears of the British team, this was a declaration of doom. Only Queen Satonien understood what Duva meant. As
the almighty cosmic observer, Satonien's knowledge of the multiverse was not false. She knew exactly what she was facing. So much so that when British Spider-Man asked her for help against the Heirs, she acted with complete indifference, completely ignoring him. This was because she had something far more threatening than the mass deaths of Spider-Man himself.
Perhaps this was a way to get British Spider-Man to join the Spider-League, thus avoiding the fate of fading along with Universe 833.
"Satonian, I need the coordinates of Universe 9602. This world is hidden and cannot be found by conventional means. I have no choice but to come to you," Duva said. "I want to know where this chaotic world, a mixture of two multiverses, is."
Chapter 186: The Captain Wearing Underwear Outside and the Vibranium-Skeleted Bat.
"You guys from another world, are you all acquiring knowledge this way? Are you planning to just rob us if normal means prove ineffective?"
"Be careful, and follow Her Majesty's instructions."
A group of British captains were furious. They were shocked by the terrifying strength of Duval and his three companions, yet they were also determined to fight to the death to protect the Queen.
Protecting the Queen was the vital mission of the British Captains.
But Queen Satonian showed no signs of anger. She simply observed the speed bar intently, and even more intently, the two aliens behind Duval, the demonic one in particular, for a second longer.
"Although I've observed you from afar in the multiverse, seeing you up close still astonishes me somewhat. The Alien is a tiny concept, supposed to cause minor disturbances in a very few universes, easily destroyed by superheroes or supervillains."
Queen Satonian, wielding a scepter and crown, exuded elegance. But Duval had no interest in her hollow form; he simply wanted to extract crucial information from the Queen's mind.
In theory, the simplest method would be to transform the Queen into an Alien, thus granting him all the knowledge she possessed.
But that wouldn't work.
"I assume you're worried about Merlin and Roma, but I'm curious how you know about them? And you even know they're incredibly powerful," Queen Satonian asked curiously, surrounded by a group of heroes.
"Why do you say that?"
"Because you haven't been as cautious as you are now when discussing those magical entities like Vishanti and Sithon," Satonian replied.
"As expected of the Queen, your judgment is spot on, but I have another explanation: I'm not a wanton killer, nor am I a ruthless evil god."
"But you're passionate about bestowing the power of the Alien on those who don't particularly need it."
Duval simply shrugged. It had been a long time since he'd expressed his feelings this way.
If things involved Merlin, the almighty cosmic wizard, and Roma, Merlin's descendant, Duval had every reason to be cautious.
The Queen of Universe 833 and Captain Britain's Legion would soon be destroyed along with the endless extinction of the dimension.
Therefore, Duval had no intention of personally assimilating or wiping out this universe and its inhabitants.
The most urgent task was to safely cross into the DC Multiverse and leverage both multiverses to strengthen the Alien concept, paving the way for further advancement. This was the simplest, most brutally effective strategy Duval could devise.
At this critical juncture, provoking a wizard of Merlin's caliber was not a good idea.
"I emphasize again, I'm not here to invade or conquer. Universe 9602, I need the coordinates of this world. In return, I will provide you with assistance within my capacity. I hope to treat this as a transaction, not a one-sided plunder. You are an observer of many worlds. In just the past few seconds, you may have observed my past many times and clearly understand what kind of god I am," Duva emphasized.
"Indeed, I only realized what you were planning a few seconds ago. You are adept at creating miracles. You can use such a trivial concept to elevate yourself to the status of a rare Concept God, and you seem to have found the clues to further advancement..."
Queen Satonian opened her hand, and a high-tech device similar to a USB flash drive quickly appeared in her hand. This encrypted device was manufactured using the cutting-edge technology of Universe 833, and was incomparable to instruments created through magic, divine power, and other means.
Inside it were the coordinates of Universe 9602.
Queen Satonian handed it directly to Duva.
"What I'm more curious about is that the multiverse constantly generates countless concepts, many of which aren't native to the multiverse itself, but rather are external concepts integrated into the multiverse. Why did you single out Universe 9602?" Queen Satonian asked. "You should be well aware that what you're about to do is a huge risk, with no guarantee of success."
"Because Universe 9602 is the most suitable place I could find," Duva said.
In fact, among all the various concepts in the multiverse, Universe 9602 isn't the only one that can connect to the DC Multiverse; other universes can as well.
For example, Universe 7642 contains major events like Superman vs. Spider-Man, Batman vs. the Incredible Hulk, and The Punisher: Deadly Knight.
Universe 3839, for example, features Batman and Captain America.
And the most unique of all, the Universe-Linked Earth, formed by the collision and fusion of Marvel's main universe 616 and DC's New Earth, is the main battlefield for the Justice League vs. the Avengers.
Or perhaps Black Winter, originating from Marvel's sixth multiverse, easily destroyed a universe during its mass extinction event, and among the many concepts destroyed were DC characters like Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and the Flash.
However, these hybrid universes, each imbued with the DC multiverse, suffer from common problems.
The most problematic aspect is that these universes haven't yet emerged, or have already quietly emerged but are hidden somewhere deeper.
In other words, the Marvel multiverse hasn't yet truly engaged in a larger-scale confrontation with the DC multiverse.
But Universe 9602 is different.
Many of the beings within this universe are essentially a blend of entities from both the Marvel and DC multiverses.
Its superheroes are also a fusion of familiar heroes from both multiverses.
This means that Universe 9602 doesn't actually exist as a direct part of the DC multiverse. Even if a shadow of DC concepts exists, it's a weakened form, separated from the true, complete, and authentic DC concept.
This makes it the safest and most reliable springboard.
But Duva wouldn't share this secret information with Queen Satonian.
"Thank you,"
Duva explained, deciphering the information from the technological device, a smile on his face. "The information here is very comprehensive and detailed."
"I wish you success, but if you do, I'll be worried," Queen Satonian sighed. She had no choice. If Duva were to ignore it, he could cause terrible damage to Universe 833.
Merlin and Roma, though powerful, weren't the father and daughter of Universe 833. They weren't guaranteed to face any crisis.
Duva said calmly, "Vishanti is the God of White Magic. He has endowed every universe with white magic, including Sithon. If I succeed, you will see Captain Alien in Universe 833."
If Universe 833 still existed by then, Duva said calmly. White magic and black magic exist in every universe, no matter how remote or incomplete.
Furthermore, those creator gods could make time, space, and death the underlying rules of the multiverse, making them ubiquitous.
If Duva succeeds in his smuggling and returns safely, then it would be perfectly normal for aliens to appear in every universe, making them a "common" supernatural system like white magic, black magic, and the power of the World Tree. This would all happen naturally.
By then, no one would consider aliens so rare. At most, there would be a group of heroes or criminals who would reject them, viewing them as heresy and expel or even hunt them down.
Just as white magic and black magic are forever in conflict and vendetta against each other.
"If you need it, I will provide you with appropriate assistance."
Duva gave Queen Satonil a deep look, saying nothing more.
Whether Universe 833 would still exist when he returned was a different matter.
Even Duva himself couldn't guarantee the success of his actions; he simply chose the path with the highest probability of success.
"Your Majesty, these guys used this method to get what they wanted from us today. I fear that it won't be long before other demon gods from other dimensions do the same."
The British captains were filled with indignation and a deep sense of shame.
Oh my God, they had sworn allegiance to the Queen, and this was how they protected Her Majesty?
"This is different. We can resist and defeat ordinary alien invaders with our own strength. Countless battles in the past have proven this," Queen Satonian said slowly. "It's just that this guy is special... He's a mad god."
Satonian sighed softly. She didn't fully understand Duval's plans, but she had a vague suspicion.
As an all-seeing observer of the universe, Queen Satonian knew far more secrets than ordinary people. She was more aware of the chaos that was constantly emerging in the multiverse, and countless concepts from beyond the multiverse were among them.
But then again, if the multiverse weren't sufficiently complex and vast, it wouldn't be worthy of the name. If it were to be influenced and destroyed at any moment by new creatures from beyond the multiverse, it would be a humiliation to the powerful gods of the multiverse.
...
"Time to get to work."
Duval crushed the USB-drive-like device in his hand and stood in the supervortex between universes, gazing at the densely packed black spheres that filled his vision.
Each black sphere was a universe. At that moment, the view seemed endless, and countless new universes were born and destroyed every moment.
The supervortex, like the blood zone in the DC Universe, was a transitional zone between universes, a special energy substance.
The scene before him was a truly magnificent chapter. Even a god like Duval, arguably at the pinnacle of a single universe, would sigh in awe at the sheer spectacle. He couldn't fully absorb the immeasurable amount of information.
Not now, but perhaps when he returned, he would be able to.
Duva turned his head and looked in one direction. Within the boundless universe, there were a few peculiar universes, tucked away in the cracks of countless folds, unknown to the world.
Universe 9602.
This world, isolated from the rest of the world since its creation, with no connection to any other parallel universes, had finally welcomed its first outsider.
The first to notice something was amiss was Universe 9602's leader, the Super Soldier, a superhero fused from Marvel's Captain America and DC's Superman.
This blond man was incredibly muscular, his blue-and-red bodysuit accentuating his muscular build. The white five-pointed star on his chest, bulging with his pecs, and the red shorts he wore were striking.
On his right forearm, a modest pentagonal shield bore a large "S."
He was the superhero the entire universe admired, a righteous and powerful figure.
In this universe's history, government scientists created version 9602 of the Super Soldier Serum using a cell sample from an alien corpse. Using this serum and solar radiation, they transformed a man named Clark Kent into a Super Soldier.
This was the origin of the Super Soldier.
The Super Soldier sensed something was amiss, but even using his super vision and super hearing to their fullest extent failed to detect it. However, his intuition kept warning him.
"Maybe something has happened to the world itself, and I can't detect it right now."
The Super Soldier decided to contact another reliable comrade—Logan Wayne.
Logan Wayne, nicknamed Dark Claw, was a fusion of Batman and Wolverine. When he was five years old, his parents were tragically murdered.
He later joined a secret research project codenamed Project X, where he had vibranium incorporated into his bones, transforming him into a powerful and intelligent superhero.
"Logan..."
"Don't say anymore, Clark, I already know what happened."
Logan Wayne's cold voice was mixed with a hint of excitement: "Damn it, our world has been invaded. This is the first time in all history! My previous judgment was correct. Parallel universes must exist, but for some reason, we have never been able to establish contact with other worlds. It's like an isolated island trapped in the ocean... Damn it, I will solve this mystery myself soon! There must be a very important reason!"
"Are you sure? This is no small matter." "
The changes in time and space cannot be wrong. This is not a problem with the operation of the universe. The total weight of our world has increased! Here comes one, no, maybe many big guys, who can put a burden on our universe!"
Logan Wayne took a deep breath: "While the crazy bastard 'Hyena' has not shown up in the past two days, we must deal with the outsiders as soon as possible. I hope these guys are not here to invade."
Hyena Quinn was originally his friend, but he couldn't resist in Project X and went crazy. He became a guy with green hair who liked to paint his face with thick white makeup and red lipstick. He was also very good at grinning.
Chapter 187: A Portal, a Fragment
. Minutes later, the superheroes of Earth-9602 had more or less received the news.
The existence of parallel universes had been confirmed, and they weren't alone. However, determining the identity of the aliens and their motives remained paramount.
Of course, if possible, acquiring the technology to travel across universes would be ideal.
"I hope the aliens are here for communication, not invasion. Perhaps, like us, they've been unable to detect the existence of other parallel universes."
"Hahaha, pinning your hopes on the enemy's motives is good, but it's not good enough, because their motives could change at any moment depending on our situation—perhaps seeing us too weak, they'll shift from friendly communication to enslavement and conquest."
The heroes gathered together, discussing this event that was bound to shake the universe, their nerves tense to the extreme.
In the history of this universe, aliens had never occurred before. Even though these superheroes had dealt with countless disasters, facing this unprecedented situation still made them feel uneasy and anxious.
"Is this Universe 9602? It's certainly very different from the others."
Duva, accompanied by two guards, entered and rapidly absorbed a vast amount of information from the entire universe.
In an instant, the information contained in every ray of light in the universe was deciphered by Duva, and Duva mastered the history of this world at breakneck speed.
This was the world he sought.
A transitional world formed by the fusion of Marvel and DC.
The very rules governing this universe were completely different from any single Marvel universe he had encountered.
Duva knew the significant difference came from the information coming from the DC side.
Seeing the numerous superheroes already prepared in this universe, and the countless cosmic gods silently observing, Duva smiled at the seemingly ambiguous characteristics of these beings.
He immediately headed for Earth. He
made no effort to conceal his immense power, nor to exercise self-control. As he approached Earth, carrying this vast concept, the closer he came, the more the natives felt a terrifying, suffocating feeling, like a mountain bearing down on them.
Various high-tech devices malfunctioned, a series of magical circles collapsed, and even the numerous prophecies on the plane of fate began to falter as Duval approached, as if distorted by a greater force.
It was as if the power Duval could unintentionally release could directly impact Earth's established supernatural system.
Duval was using this method to gain as much exposure as possible to the concepts of the DC Multiverse.
Universe 9602 was merely a springboard; using it to smoothly transition to the DC Multiverse was Duval's priority.
"Everyone, pay attention! They're coming, and they don't look friendly."
The Super Soldier gestured, holding his pentagonal shield across his body, clearly ready for battle.
"I still don't understand. You have an indestructible body, so why are you holding a shield?" Dark Claw also displayed his vibranium claws, grumbling furiously.
"It's not important, Logan. It's like you don't need to wear a uniform. You'll ruin your clothes in every fight anyway, so why not just run around naked from the start? It's easier, isn't it? At least you save the money on new clothes."
"That's a great suggestion! I actually think it makes sense. If it weren't for this situation, I really should have offered you a cigar," said Dark Claw.
A figure wearing a strange knight's helmet and a red cape spoke up. "If you need it, I can help you transport what you want right now. You'll have to pay for it later. Otherwise, it's theft—not stealing money, but stealing time and fate, changing what was supposed to happen into something else." "
Really? The great Doctor Strange Fate is actually a law-abiding wizard? Honestly, we don't know much about you. You only appeared in that one incident involving Apokolips."
Dark Claw, spouting trash talk, repeatedly sizing up everyone present with a cold gaze beneath his mask.
The others weren't surprised, for they knew Dark Claw was just like that. He possessed the fighting prowess of a mad dog, yet he was as cunning as a fox, observing everyone with absolute rationality.
However, one thing was undeniable: Doctor Strange Fate was truly the most puzzling individual on Earth, the most mysterious of the mysterious.
"Wait until you've gotten through this, then consider my question," Doctor Strange Fate said. "This outsider is incredibly powerful, and there are more than one. I doubt any one of them would be easy for us to defeat."
He took to the sky, and along with Clark Kent and the others, they gazed solemnly at Dewar, who had arrived from across the universe.
The countless cosmic radiation and the terrifyingly low temperatures were completely ignored.
"Three people?"
"Technically, only one is human; the other two are humanoid monsters."
The superheroes observed Dewar.
Dewar, in turn, observed these bizarre beings.
"This universe is just as interesting as I imagined. You, the indigenous life forms, are like two separate entities, each chopped in half and thrown into a blender."
"I don't know why you say that, but I'll take it as a compliment, otherworldly being." The Super Soldier soared into the sky, using his super-vision to observe Duval carefully.
To his horror, he couldn't see through Duval at all, not even the two aliens behind him.
"Hal, you better find something," Dark Claw said gravely.
"Don't push me, damn it,"
Hal Stark, nicknamed "Iron Lantern," the figure in the green steel armor, grumbled. "You're not much smarter than me. Don't keep talking to me with such arrogance! Besides, I do have some discoveries, if you're not lying."
Steel Lantern and Dark Claw are the brains of Earth.
"It seems that you are the leader of this planet. Very good, a superman with a heart of justice." Duva completely ignored the others, and stared at the super soldier, exclaiming, "That's great. I can meet you as soon as I arrive. In a sense, this is a kind of luck."
"It seems that you know our universe very well. This is not a spur-of-the-moment time travel."
"Either you have already sneaked into our world a long time ago, or you have already observed our universe in other universes in advance! It is also possible that you are lying, but I don't think it is necessary."
Dark Claw and Steel Lantern interrogated the alien visitors simultaneously, trying to divine their inner thoughts. However, their intelligence was scant. They had never even seen an alien before, and they had no idea of the existence of Duval and the other two, much less the concept of a completely unfamiliar god.
Doctor Strange Fate remained silent, his body drenched in sweat. Facing the questioning glances from the other heroes, Doctor Strange Fate felt a pang of anxiety. He felt as if he could barely open his mouth, and even breathing felt like a violation of the laws of nature.
He knew this was caused by that alien entity, which meant it was even more terrifying than he had imagined.
"Perhaps, he's even more terrifying than Thanosed..." Doctor Strange Fate managed to utter.
This startled all the heroes.
"Thanosed, I know who it is. Thanos and Darkseid."
Duval smiled at the name. He even knew there was an Apokolips in this universe.
Thanos? Darkseid? Who were they?
"A Thanosed from a parallel universe? But why do you say it's a combination? Could it be that different parallel universes also have distinct isotopes?"
One character, played by at least two people? If you count Thanosed, that's three.
"Regardless of what's going on in other universes, I want to know your true purpose. If you come for peace, we're willing to communicate with you, even offering assistance. If you come for war, we'll let you know that our universe is not to be trifled with," the Super Soldier warned bluntly.
In truth, the heroes present were battle-hardened warriors, already aware of Duva's ill intentions. No one with good intentions would brazenly display such planet-shaking power. Even from a distance, it would wreak havoc on Earth.
"You're strong, but not strong enough. I can find you a worthy opponent," Duva chuckled. As soon as he finished speaking, the Hyperion behind him launched a swift attack.
Sharing the same super-speed, super-vision and super-hearing, and super-strength, the Super Soldier was shocked to discover that the monster before him possessed all his abilities.
The two figures burst through the atmosphere in an instant.
Bang!
The Super Soldier blocked the Hyperion's claws with his shield. A sharp metallic sound echoed, and scratches appeared across the shield. This
was the first time he had seen anyone damage his shield.
"You're stronger than me in terms of strength, but if I use this, how will you handle me?"
The Super Soldier's eyes flashed red as he launched a heat beam. The Hyperion opened its mouth and unleashed a terrifying red energy beam.
This was also a form of "heat beam," and the instant they clashed, the Super Soldier was already at a disadvantage.
As he growled, the Hyperion appeared at his side and slammed the Super Soldier into the atmosphere. The immense speed of the fall caused incredible friction, engulfing the Super Soldier in flames.
Although the flames failed to harm him, he immediately fought back, slamming into the Hyperion and striking fiercely with his fists.
But the Super Soldier's inability to gain the upper hand was enough to shock all the heroes.
"Impossible! Super Soldiers have never been like this!"
"Nothing is impossible! Those who can fly, follow me! The rest of you, follow Dark Claw and stay on the ground."
Steel Lantern acted decisively. A mist of green energy surged from his green armor, propelling him skyward and heading straight for Duval.
Doctor Strange Fate also took action, crossing his arms and concentrating a dark red beam of energy. This was the most powerful magic he could wield.
It was a powerful spell he had secretly prepared for Thanoside, and now it could only be used here.
"You all possess unique skills, but what good is it? Trapped in this universe, you have never experienced true despair, never seen the sight of hell."
Duval did nothing, but behind him, the truly terrifying monster shifted slightly. The terrifying power, on the scale of a single universe, erupted from dormant power. In this moment, not only Earth, but the entire universe shook violently.
The most powerful demonic alien, born from Mephisto, was only just beginning to reveal its terrifying nature, and Universe 9602 was fortunate to witness it.
The sheer magnitude of the universe itself sent the hairs of every living creature standing on end in a single instant.
"Oh no! This thing's not right! It's far more powerful than the Super Soldier and his opponent!"
Doctor Strange Fate, nearly mad with rage, roared in disbelief. "Only the legendary Cosmic Gods could possess this power!"
How could this be possible?
The first alien in the universe's history was a cosmic enemy?
And the universe was so vast, yet these creatures didn't seek out other planets, but instead violently invaded, unconcealing their presence and charging straight for Earth?
Steel Lantern was completely defeated. A single encounter with the alien Mephisto, who arrived in an instant, completely oblivious to time and space, grabbed him.
His proud green armor was instantly shattered, more fragile than paper.
Doctor Strange Fate's magic was equally vulnerable, dissipating like foam at the lash of Mephisto's tail.
Even Earth's heroes, even those unaware of the aliens, knew Earth had encountered a formidable foe, and they rushed to join the battle.
But the Hyperion Alien and the even more powerful Mephisto Alien alone were enough to overwhelm these guys.
Duval's attention was still on the super soldier.
Because, in Universe 9602, there is a portal.
This was the connecting door to the Marvel Universe and the DC Universe before the birth of Universe 9602.
And inside the super soldier's body, there is a key item that can cause major changes in Universe 9602 - a vital fragment.
"This is a battle that I find boring. What I have experienced is far beyond your imagination. You who are limited to a single world cannot understand how magnificent it is to have countless universes have the opportunity to communicate with each other. Unfortunately, you probably won't have the opportunity to experience this."
Duval sighed: "But it seems that someone disagrees with me."
"Yes, I disagree."
A strange passage suddenly opened, and a burly figure with his hands behind his back came across countless galaxies.
Chapter 188 VS Sanoside:
Sometimes, Duva doesn't always prefer to resort to violence.
But the reality is, when he wants what he wants, and the possessor won't give it, and Duva is so determined to get it, violence is often the way to go.
For example, right now, he's engaged in a full-scale war with the heroes of Universe 9602, but those heroes probably don't understand what he wants.
In fact, the local superheroes are practically frantic.
Duva, their leader, hasn't taken action, merely floating casually in the air, watching their performance like a monkey show.
Even more frustrating is Duva's low opinion of them.
"It's confirmed that the opponent is a cosmic god-level foe, the strongest enemy we've ever faced."
Dark Claw, unable to fly, frantically commanded superheroes with diverse abilities to fight, trying to find weaknesses in Duva and his team. Simultaneously, he remotely controlled his own technological equipment to join the fray.
Superheroes continued to soar high, but soon fell like kites with broken strings.
Few who joined the battle were defeated. Most were knocked off their feet by the blast waves, losing most of their combat capabilities in a single encounter, some even unconscious.
Dark Claw cursed furiously, having to mobilize forces to quickly rescue these people before they free-falled to their deaths.
"Why didn't you send a drone to rescue me?"
a spirited young man with brown hair, dressed in a Spider-Man suit, slammed into the ground with a thud and limped out, complaining.
"Shut up, sprint champion, because I know you son of a bitch can't die from falling!! Also, don't talk to me when I'm thinking, I'm worried my temper will damage my rationality!"
Dark Claw then unleashed another barrage of harsh curses.
There was no way, absolutely no way.
The enemy he faced now completely defied all the contingency plans he had prepared for various types of enemies.
Despite insufficient intelligence, exceptional strength, and decisive action, the leader appeared careless, but in reality, he was anything but reckless.
Dark Claw wasn't sure how to quickly deal with such a god.
He had no idea of the god's abilities, power, or connections. The plan of provoking the god's enemies, even at the cost of causing even greater disaster and destruction, seemed impossible.
"That jerk Stark seems helpless. He couldn't block a single blow. He's probably getting strangled by now."
Dark Claw's face darkened. He couldn't even tell which of the two monsters was stronger, but it seemed unnecessary, as neither the Super Soldier nor the Steel Lanterns could defeat either one.
Even with Dark Claw's vibranium claws on display, if he were to rely on this body and force his way into a battle of this magnitude, his vibranium skeleton would likely be shattered in seconds.
"Actually, there's a less-than-ideal solution. We can contact Apocalypse!" Dark Claw hesitated.
Doctor Strange Fate created a magical clone that appeared before Dark Claw, warning, "Don't do this! It will only bring everything to a complete end! Don't tell me you can't see. Although our situation is difficult, no one has died so far. They're just toying with us."
"It's like playing cat and mouse. I hate pinning my hopes of survival on the enemy's mercy, but you're right."
Dark Claw knew that Doctor Strange Fate possessed a method of observing fate, even more special than observing time.
Perhaps this guy saw something ominous in fate, but he suspected I was the one who caused it, Dark Claw thought.
He used his high-tech equipment to scan outer space. Doctor Strange Fate, who was howling from the blows of Mephisto's alien, stared at the spotless clone before him. "But now I have bad news. My space-time detection device is warning me that troublesome people are heading our way." "
It is indeed bad news. This may cause massive casualties on our world... Apocalypse is intervening at this time."
Doctor Strange Fate looked at Sanoside, who emerged from the space-time tunnel, and fell silent.
All the heroes still alive felt a surge of pressure at this moment, silently gazing at the overlord of Apokolips.
They were all well aware that war between Earth and Apokolips was inevitable, and had been constantly gathering intelligence on Apokolips, hoping to prepare for the conflict.
But they hadn't expected a direct confrontation under these circumstances.
"Interesting! I was planning on taking what I wanted and leaving, but you've come knocking on my door yourself."
Duval looked down with interest at the massive figure who resembled Darkseid, yet also had some of Thanos's traits.
Since entering Universe 9602, his mood had brightened, and he had the patience to observe these peculiar natives.
Thanoside, a fusion of Thanos and Darkseid, Lord of Apokolips, was one of the most powerful gods in the universe.
Since Duval's arrival in this universe, many cosmic gods had taken notice and silently observed his every move.
Even these gods were unfamiliar with the conditions in parallel universes and maintained a cautious and observant attitude.
"When I discovered visitors from a parallel universe, I felt a surge of joy. It meant I could finally find new joys, instead of repeating the same old routine for millions and tens of millions of years."
Sanoside stomped his feet. As soon as he found his footing, countless natural disasters erupted on Earth.
Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, typhoons, tsunamis...
When Duva arrived, he primarily destroyed Earth's magic circle, suppressing the various disasters with his immense size.
But Sanoside cared nothing about that. His mission was destruction and slaughter.
What kind of Lord of Apocalypse was he who didn't kill?
"I also deliberately slowed down the frequency of attacks on the earth, for fear that this planet that could bring me little fun would be destroyed prematurely, until you came."
Sanoside put his hands behind his back, a bloodthirsty and excited expression appeared on his rocky face: "What really surprised me is that you outsiders have proved that this universe is not absolutely isolated, and there are ways to travel through the universe."
"What you should be happy about is that I am not a scientist who takes the technological route, and I do not rely on technological means to achieve travel through time, but on absolute strength."
Duva smiled and nodded. Sanoside looked at him with excitement, and he was also very happy when he looked at Sanoside. The two of them stared at each other, and the more they looked, the more harmonious the atmosphere became.
"Ahhhhhhhh!!! Earth, beautiful Earth actually..."
The Super Soldier waved his fists wildly, fighting the Hyperion Alien, punch after punch, it was simply the best boxing match.
As for why he didn't use his shield to hit, it was simply because the shield was pierced by the Hyperion Alien's tail.
At this time, the Super Soldier, as the strongest hero on Earth, watched his comrades being beaten by another obviously more powerful monster. He roared in anger and continuously squeezed the strength in his body, trying to quickly defeat the guy in front of him who was very similar to him in every way.
When he punched the Hyperion Alien on the head, the powerful blow made the Hyperion Alien's body stagger, and as expected, he was slapped in the face by the Hyperion Alien.
The blow struck the Super Soldier's head, sending his entire body throbbing. For a moment, his consciousness blurred, and he wondered if he'd been fighting a mirror. The other party, taller and boasting a tail even stronger and more flexible than his shield, seemed like a super-powered version of him in every way.
The Super Soldier, unable to secure victory, was driven even more frantically by the sight of Thanoside's arrival, causing widespread death on Earth.
For some time, Thanoside had been his greatest imaginary enemy, but he had never imagined his encounter would be under these circumstances.
"Get out, get out!! Are you outsiders having fun? Since you don't kill or destroy, why are you holding me back while that Apocalypse demon destroys Earth bit by bit?"
The Super Soldier frantically absorbed solar radiation. He had never before unleashed his physical potential to this level, achieving greater strength and increasing power at a higher rate.
But that was all. After all, his ability to absorb solar radiation was due to a super serum developed from alien corpses.
Without acquiring other power systems or simply altering their genes, the upper limit of the super serum determines the upper limit of the super soldier.
"I admire those with strong willpower, because weak individuals lacking strength can always use their tenacious will to push their limits and create miracles—though these so-called miracles are often nothing in my eyes."
Duval admired the super soldier. What a reliable guy! Captain America's character combined with Superman's strength—what a fantastic combination—but then again, even without Captain America, Superman's character is generally very reliable.
Ah, that's fine. So Captain America was just a filler, a clown forcing himself to stick with Superman.
Although the super soldier was only half DC, Duval didn't mind.
"Be quiet. Your potential means you can't defeat me. Let me see how I can handle all of you here."
Duval ordered the Hyperion alien to strangle the super soldier. The terrifying force, enough to crush a planet, was now completely absorbed by the super soldier, and his body creaked.
Its tail wrapped around the Super Soldier's head twice, covering his mouth.
Silence
finally fell. Thanoside kept his hands behind his back, a perfect Darkseid gesture. "You're wasting your time on this guy. Looks like you've discovered something. I guess that's why a god from another world like you crosses over specifically to this world."
"One of the reasons."
"Oh? You want more? I disagree. I'll take the Super Soldier back and crush every bone in him to see what it is about him that attracts someone of your caliber."
Thanoside finally stopped keeping his hands behind his back. He clenched his fists, summoning the power to instantly extinguish a star.
He first glanced at the Hyperion alien restraining the Super Soldier, but he wasn't very interested, as Hyperion was clearly no match for him.
Instead, it was Mephisto that piqued Thanoside's interest.
"Immediately activate the global emergency response mechanism and organize the evacuation of affected people."
"Open all safe zones and shelters. This incident is unlike any before. The slightest carelessness will result in a horrific death!"
"As for what happens after the war... it depends on which of the alien gods is stronger, the alien gods or the alien gods."
Dark Claw immediately made arrangements, his voice thick with dejection. In his heart, he actually hoped that the alien gods would defeat Sanoside.
Although he doubted Duva's motivation and even imagined that Duva was a madman with a strange habit, who liked to give people hope and then cause mass extinction in one fell swoop, even if that were the case, a Duva victory would buy them a little time to prepare.
If Sanoside won, Earth would be destroyed immediately, with no room for maneuver. The plans of Earth's heroes would never have a chance to be implemented.
Many superheroes felt dejected. Before the two gods even took action, the earth was shaking, leaving most of them unable to stand.
The gap was too great.
The few heroes who had previously been unconscious and now woke up were horrified.
Dark Claw, looking furious, slapped the questioning, clueless, third-rate idiot, knocking him out of the way.
Anticipation crossed Thanoside's face, forging a conflict unlike any he had imagined.
The native gods had slain the foreign gods, adding another skeleton to his throne. He would also seize the opportunity to wield the foreigners' technology for traversing the universe and the secrets to entering this very universe.
A perfect scenario: Thanoside's fame would spread to even more universes, and ultimately, countless universes would be conquered by the mighty Thanoside, Lord of Apokolips!
Thanoside let out a cruel laugh, soaring into the air and instantly crushing the ground beneath his feet.
But Duval didn't move.
Mephisto's alien form moved, throwing the nearly-dead Steel Lantern out. Then, with a powerful energy blast, it sent Doctor Strange Fate and the others flying, forcing them to stand before Thanoside.
Like an impenetrable cosmic barrier, it held Thanoside motionless.
"What are you doing?" Sanosed asked in disbelief. "This is a battle between gods, a battle that will determine the future of the universe!"
"That's right, the victor will gain ownership of this universe—literally, ownership. I can't give up this world,"
Duva said slowly. "As an ancient god, you're a very suitable opponent for my subordinates... I've always been dissatisfied with its growth rate. Through you, perhaps it can quickly grow to its peak."
Chapter 189: Be My Loyal Dog.
Duva had no intention of just making a quick buck and running away.
It was as if he'd truly gone to the DC Multiverse and never returned—though he could indeed remain there forever.
However, if he could establish a stable gateway between the two multiverses, Duva could leverage the unique characteristics and rules of each world to rapidly expand his concepts and strive for a higher status. Now that he had found Universe 9602, there was no need to force himself into a choice between the two.
If Universe 9602, such a perfect springboard, was destroyed, where would Duva find a new Universe 9602? Or would he have to wait for the massive collision between Marvel's 616 main universe and DC's New Earth, and wait for the birth of a connected universe before he could return?
Who knew if the connected universe would be successfully born, when, and how many dangerous events would ensue?
Duva would not only not actually destroy Universe 9602, but would also do everything he could to prevent others from destroying this wonderful world.
For example, right now, Duval decided to give Sanoside, the Lord of Apocalypse, a profound memory.
This infuriated Sanoside to the core.
He desired a battle with Duval, not just his subordinates.
Despite countless battles, having defeated and slain gods, Sanoside acknowledged the immense power of the strange creature before him, a god-level foe.
But things weren't supposed to work this way.
"Outsider, you're quite adept at provoking me. Perhaps you've dealt with me in a parallel universe. Just like that creature over there, it possesses abilities similar to those of a super soldier. While I don't know how it came to be, I suspect there's a universe filled with creatures like it."
Sanoside let out a terrifying laugh, unable to recall the last time someone had humiliated him like this.
The Mephisto alien moved with alacrity, his ruthless mind and powerful execution resolutely carrying out Duval's will, recklessly pursuing his own potential.
As a demonic alien bred by Mephisto, its potential is undeniable. However, to truly realize it, it still requires a bit of effort.
"Your universe is too closed, with little communication with the outside world. You may not even know much about Hell. At most, you know of its existence thanks to the information projection carried by the universe itself, and you can even name a few demons."
Duval spoke slowly, appearing remarkably calm at the frantic battle before him. "This is my gift to you. You will have the opportunity to engage in a spectacular duel with an individual who transcends demons. Whoever survives will be my number one warrior."
With a loud bang, the Mephisto alien grasped Sanoside's shoulder. The moment it was about to tear Saraside apart, it was struck by a beam of energy from Sanoside's eyes, and its entire body turned blood red, as if it were about to melt on the spot.
"Then I will kill you and your men, and leave you in this world forever." Thanoside glared, eyes blazing with crimson light. Two more red beams blazed out, bypassing the Mephisto alien and heading straight for Duval.
"This is a difficult task, and it will be difficult for you to complete it."
Duval raised his hand and directly met the strange beam attack. When the beam's power was completely exhausted, Duval felt a part of himself dissipate.
"Omega beams? You're really more like Darkseid, man."
Duval's face showed no surprise.
Just as Thanos needed the Infinity Stones and other cosmic artifacts to battle the gods of the universe,
Darkseid wasn't always invincible either. He relied heavily on the "Omega Effect" to reach the top. The Omega beams, which always hit their targets, instilled fear in countless people and gods on the DC side, making him the dark lord feared by countless planets.
Seeing Thanoside display yet another portion of the DC multiverse's power system, Duva chuckled and waved his hands, his delight only growing.
The more DC elements he saw, the closer Duva was to his goal, the closer he was to expanding his concepts and reaching a higher level, and this brought him even greater joy.
But it was this very nonchalance, as if he had traveled thousands of miles across the universe just to examine Thanoside's demeanor, that infuriated him.
He deduced valuable information about parallel universes from Duva's words, such as that Thanos and Darkseid seemed to be his counterparts in other parallel universes. This outsider, having previously dealt with his counterparts, was likely a hostile relationship.
The Lord of Apokolips went berserk, his terrifying might resounding throughout the universe, causing countless stars to flicker.
Equally apprehensive, the few Celestials of Universe 9602 were also filled with anxiety.
Witnessing Thanoside's excitement and fury for the first time, they were practically beside themselves.
"None of us has ever seen a Thanoside like this, right?"
"Because there's no need to provoke him... Anyway, I don't quite understand why this outsider would do this; it's too deliberate."
Universe 9602 is not small, but the number of gods is pitifully small. Only a handful of figures watched the battle from afar, with no intention of personally participating.
They knew little about matters beyond the universe, and were more focused on interpreting information carried within it. They knew that many of the information referred to things that did not exist within this universe, and thus were certain of the existence of parallel universes.
They also did not recognize Duval, but since Duval had brought two extremely powerful monsters with him, they had every reason to suspect that more similar monsters existed beyond the universe.
The battlefield resembled a massive black hole, its force warping even the laws of the universe, easily devouring everything, both visible and invisible.
All matter was pulled in and shattered. The chaotic energy was a storm, a terrifying magnitude that even gods would struggle to withstand.
Sanoside was indeed powerful. His furious attack forced Mephisto to defend himself with all his might.
Boom!
Mephisto blocked Sanoside's powerful punch with both hands, causing cracks to appear on his outermost arm. The tiny cracking sounds, like the whispers of an indescribable entity, quickly spread to many planets and eventually imprinted upon the universe itself, becoming a cosmic phenomenon.
If a single cosmic entity were considered a universe, this physical trauma would be equivalent to the collapse of a portion of the universe, requiring a considerable amount of time to repair.
"It looks like the outsider's men are going to lose. He's too arrogant. He clearly has the advantage in numbers, yet he's determined to challenge Sanoside in a one-on-one duel." Earth was also on high alert, with all the heroes using various means to maintain Earth's stability, ensuring the planet wouldn't be completely destroyed by a shockwave during this war.
"But shouldn't we be thankful for that alien being who knew enough to drag Thanoside into outer space to prevent the war from starting on Earth?"
Dark Claw muttered with a hint of self-mockery. Things were moving so fast, and he could only watch helplessly as the native gods and alien gods clashed.
Of course, if possible, he would have loved to rescue the super soldiers from the Hyperion alien.
But the Hyperion alien was trapped in the vacuum of space, and the few superheroes who could leave Earth to fight had already been crippled by Mephisto's attack from the outset. Some were unconscious, others seriously injured. The only exception was Doctor Strange Fate, who had used borrowed magical power from an unknown source to repair his injuries and appeared to be in good condition.
But no one knew the pain he was currently enduring—borrowed magic needed to be repaid.
"I advise you not to do anything. Instead of plotting against these gods, it's better to prioritize saving our own men."
Dr. Strange Fate adjusted his Fate Helmet with both hands. "Just wait and see."
"You saw fate? I didn't know you could even see through the gods' fate."
"No, I haven't reached that level yet. Maybe I will in the future, but not yet. But I do know one thing: don't provoke a god who doesn't intend to annihilate us when you're clearly at a disadvantage."
Dr. Strange Fate continued to observe fate, trying to discern any clues about the future.
As he spoke, he even ventured to observe Duva himself, hoping to discern Duva's fate.
But looking through his Fate Helmet, Dr. Strange Fate was horrified to see countless alien forms, densely packed and silent, forming planet after planet. The endless planets seemed to condense into a pitch-black universe.
At that moment, a pair of eyes suddenly appeared in his vision of fate, staring back at him.
Doctor Strange Fate felt as if he were being attacked by the consciousnesses of billions of monsters. He screamed, his soul shattered, nearly shattered into countless pieces, on the verge of fading into an endless fate, a fate that would forever destroy him.
"Doctor Strange Fate... an interesting fellow."
Duva quickly averted his gaze. He hadn't been deliberately chastising him, but rather simply because the sheer scale of his concepts was simply beyond the reach of someone of Doctor Strange Fate's caliber. Even glancing at Duva's fate was like looking directly at the very concepts Duva was referring to.
Duva quickly forgot this minor incident as he watched the Mephisto alien's power steadily increase.
Possessing Mephisto's most powerful genes, the demonic alien's physical potential theoretically surpassed even Mephisto himself.
"Is that all? Is this the level of opponent you keep arranging for me?"
Thanoside gripped Mephisto's wrists with his massive arms, slowly pulling them apart. If nothing unexpected happened, he would eventually sever both of the alien's arms.
He could sense that the Mephisto alien had grown stronger, but still not as strong as him!
In just a moment, he was confident he'd be able to tear this strange creature to shreds.
"Is this the creature from Hell you mentioned? This legendary demon?! It's so different from what I've interpreted. Could it be some special demonic offshoot?"
Sanosed grinned. "As the master of this creature, you don't possess any traces of demonic power. But it doesn't matter. No matter what secrets you hold, where you came from, or what your purpose is, after I kill your subordinates, I'll kill you and obtain all your information."
"Do you think that's all it can do? This creature was bred from Mephisto's corpse."
"Mephisto? I know that name. So you killed Mephisto and used his body to create this thing? I roughly understand what kind of god you are."
Sanosed realized that if he were defeated by Duval, he would most likely end up like this monster.
From the beginning, he'd been puzzled by the fact that the creature who'd defeated the Super Soldier possessed abilities so similar to the Super Soldier's. Now it made sense: Duva had likely killed a Super Soldier from a parallel universe and, through unknown means, transformed him into this bizarre monster.
Duva chuckled, "Mephisto is the Lord of Hell. Part of his power comes from the blessing of the Hell dimension, but this alien hasn't yet gained that power. In theory, it's significantly weaker than Mephisto's strongest form."
But that was only theoretical.
Duva always carried a dimension—the Abyss—with him.
The next moment, Duva, controlling the Abyss within him, dealt another severe blow to Gnar, pinning down the screaming Gnar and channeling the Abyss's dimensional power toward the Mephisto alien.
In an instant, the Mephisto alien, already being firmly suppressed by Thanoside and on the verge of defeat, suddenly, a powerful force emerged from within Duva's concept. This power empowered it, surpassing Mephisto's peak strength.
As Thanoside stared in shock, the Mephisto alien began to counterattack him, and with an even more sinister and dark power, carrying countless sentient beings, it assaulted his domain.
Its slender tail transformed into a blade even more powerful than a divine weapon, instantly piercing Thanoside's energy field. With destructive power far exceeding that of a black hole, it pierced Thanoside's chest, and intense energy beams rapidly washed over his body, inflicting as much destruction as possible.
A god of this caliber would certainly not die so easily, but such a degree of trauma was a sign of his decline.
"How could such a thing happen, Lord of the Dimension?" Thanoside's expression grew increasingly grim. He saw that Duval, whom he had been so obsessed with not long ago, had finally moved.
This was not a good sign,
for Duval had come to put an end to this.
"You lose. I won't kill you, but don't even think of being like before... Be my loyal dog, Thanoside, regardless of any hidden connection to Darkseid."
