Seeing the three-meter-long red shark beside him vanish, Charles was utterly shocked. Just what could make such a huge shark disappear like that?
The next second, his pupils contracted slightly. Could it have been that thing from before...? Charles turned his head toward the direction where the massive skeleton had appeared. By now, that area had been entirely swallowed by darkness, and he could see nothing at all.
In this dim, oppressive environment, everything was steeped in a dead silence.
No matter what that thing was, Charles instinctively knew he didn't want to go back. He pointed at the shark beneath him and made a circling gesture.
With a sorrowful look on his face, Feierbahah opened his mouth. As his voice trembled, the surrounding sharks rapidly gathered around the two of them. Whatever had caused the other shark to disappear, he could not let it happen a second time.
