The scales on Deep's face were peeling off slightly, making it look as though he had been punched, but he couldn't hide the glee in his expression.
He snuck a glance at Charles, who was gulping down his food, then darted over to Feierbahah, snatched away his half-eaten can, and began chomping down greedily.
"Second Officer, so many new crew members I don't recognize. Are they all new recruits?"
The green-haired youth didn't mind his food being snatched at all and thoughtfully handed over a bowl of mixed fruit soup.
"Yep, all of them joined after you left. Here, this is Tuba—you should remember him, right? With him around, we'll never get lost again."
He introduced the crew who had joined since Deep was gone, his tone relaxed and casual.
But the newcomers didn't look happy at all. Instead, they stared in terror at the frightening merfolk before them.
