What an absurd dream. Seraphina thought, recalling the unnerving dream. The writing on the wall that looked like a warning was the strangest of all. And the voice? Why did it sound like she was about to get destroyed.
"Choices and Trust." Seraphina repeated, the weight of the words carrying depth that settled in her heart.
Was the voice trying to warn her about trusting Lancelot or was Erix? What choice had she wrongly made. Going against the marriage or agreeing with the marriage? Everything seems so confusing.
She needed to clear her head. It was the weekend. No work today at least.
Seraphina scrambled out of bed, quickly went into the washroom to wash herself. She dressed in a light blue dress, with a matching black shoes. She combed her hair backwards before applying a scented oil on her neck and under arms.
