A god. What WAS a god? And what IS a god? Those two questions had very different answers at different points in this universe. During the War in Heaven there were the physical gods in the C'tan, and the spiritual gods in the Kork and Eldari gods.
In these days, there were only the Gods of the Warp. There were no gods of the physical world anymore with the C'tan destroyed... Except possibly the Hive Mind of the Tyrranids.
So to say the least, my idea of being a Brother Moon wouldn't face the issue of direct divine intervention.
'Though I very much doubt anyone would allow me this ascendancy.' I mused to myself with a wry smile as I knew that my so called brother woudn't want a moon sized lump of flesh for a brother who would be closing in on the power of a Chaos God.
But his opinion as well as the other's didn't matter to me. With Guilliman's approval to begin the process of making a Halo Ring with my totally not 'Ai' driven robots that used flash cloned human brains to control them. I got to my Great Work.
'An ultra small Halo Ring would be perfect to wipe out a world that has been taken over by the Orcs or is already lost to the Tyrannids. The main issue is how I need an insane amount of biomass to begin the process of creating a Brother Moon.' I mused to myself as I added the equilvalent of Necron Blackstone Plyons to the plans for the Halo Ring.
And already looking past my work station I heard the sounds of Astartes magnetized boots on the metal floor of the small space station near the moons of Jupiter that I was using to harvest materials from.
"My lord, the Mechanicus of the surrounding stations have sent inquiries of your energy needs." I turned around in my chair and laid my eye's on the Imperial Fists captain who was in charge of my security as obviously the Imperial Fists were in charge mostly of the defense of Terra and the Sol system.
I rolled my eye's and said calmly. "Relay a Vox message that we have our own energy supply and that our servitors are also well stocked."
I had no fucking idea who leaked my existence as a new Primarch to the High Lords of Terra. But I wanted to fucking strangle them as they and by extension the Mechanicus were constantly watching me.
Which made my plans to get some resources before Guilliman sent me off to the Lion once he checked in via his Astropaths far more difficult then it needed to be.
And the Mechanicus was fucking hounding me in particular in wanting to know exactly what I was doing. As they knew that the Primarch's who liked to make shit always made the best shit, and they being the greedy little robed rats they were. Wanted anything I made.
"Captain, would the Mechanicus accuse me of tech heresy of the crime of Innovation with how I am a Primarch?" I asked with amuesment with the Imperial Fist Captain's face tightening.
And like Dorn himself, the brick wall of a man who had all the same humor as a brick said bluntly. "They wouldn't outright accuse you of Heresy being the son of the Emperor. However they would seek to contain you and your inventions to prevent them from expanding."
'They would have the power to do so as well with Mars, their seat of power being in the system as well.' I mused to myself.
"That would be something they would do." I nodded in agreement before I pushed several buttons on my tablet which created a loud groan of mechanics as several large construction equipment began working together.
With that, I left that work station to move to another one as I moved over to my second stage plan and just past the work station was a sealed one way mirror that had two laser arrays that were at work creating a Marker from Dead Space.
But I actually understood how the Markers worked and they weren't automatically active so even if it was completed. It woudn't be automatically active and turn this mining moon into a hellscape.
"This... Thing looks heretical." The captain stated rather truthfully.
"Then it's a good thing it will be used as a battery for now and be in a heavily irradated area. Now have the Ork and Tyrranid samples arrived yet?" I asked the captain who nodded.
"Yes my lord. They are in the biomanufactorium."
"Good... Now let's see if I can poison an entire race or two." I mused aloud as I made my way over as I was very interested to test out my Primarch ability in biomancy in more detail.
As it's not like I was going to flesh craft some poor bastard humans. I may have lost almost all my sympathy and care in this blasted universe. But I wasn't going to be fucking Fabius Bile the superior.
'Hmm actually with how I killed the wretch Kor Pharon. Maybe I should mark the secondary leader of the Emperor's Children as my next target as well.' I mused as I made my way into my bio lab.
Either way, before I headed off under the cover of like ten chapters of Astartes to reinforce the Lion and my 'elder brother' I needed to get some things done.
