Vadim PoV
I set Amelia down in one of the beds and smiled softly. She had fallen asleep on the way to one of the towers. This place, it was huge. It was so big that part of me wondered if space here was distorted as it seemed bigger than the rest of the ruins. Well, what we thought to be ruins as this place was not ruined at all. I guess that made it hard for intruders to navigate.
I watched her for a moment, my heart swelling with love. She looked so peaceful, her features relaxed in sleep. I brushed a strand of hair from her face, my fingers lingering on her cheek.
"Vadim," Hyun-woo's voice echoed from the doorway. "Are you ready?"
I turned to him and nodded. "Lead the way."
He led me to a large circular chamber, its walls lined with glowing crystals. In the center of the room, a large pool of water shimmered with an ethereal light.
"This is the Chamber of Light," he said, his tone serious. "It's where we train our young. A perfect place for a beginner to learn the basics."
