Chapter 46 - Battle

I switch to full sprint mode — I run around building fast and reach main door.

I stop before entering and lean right.

The staircase is directly in front.

I see him coming down the stairs holding a gun — he is half mid-step.

He sees movement and tries to ADS — but I already start firing.

tat tat tat tat tat

Full UMP spray.

He drops on staircase.

Kill feed shows elimination.

body falls sideways on stairs

I go upstairs to loot.

footstep from distance — outside

I stop immediately.

Another set of footsteps — not sprinting — walking pace — approaching from the opposite side of the cluster.

He is not inside building yet.

Probably crossing street or alley.

I switch to pistol for faster switch chance in case of immediate close contact.

I crouch behind upstairs cabinet.

I hear his footsteps moving around outside ground level — he's checking exterior.

He might have heard the gunfight and came to third party.

I crouch closer to window frame and look downward slightly.

I see his movement now — single player — wearing dark jacket — he is aiming at the building door.

He is waiting for someone to exit.

He doesn't know I have high ground on him.

I switch back to UMP.

I aim downwards through window.

I fire small burst — bullets drop downwards trajectory.

Hits connect.

He tries to run right behind cover of low concrete wall.

I track movement and fire again.

Down.

Second kill.

I stay in window position for three full seconds to re-check if there is additional movement.

None.

I go back to the staircase body loot.

Looting:

M416 (full)

5.56 ammo 80

2x scope

level 2 vest (62 durability)

1 painkiller

1 energy drink

I drop P1911 pistol because I don't need it now.

I equip M416 with 2x.

I attach quickdraw SMG mag to UMP.

I reload both guns fully.

I check again outside.

Silence for now.

I open map.

Circle is north-east direction.

I mark a route to go toward a compound with small sheds and broken tractor models about 300-350 meters away.

I exit building.

I crouch move along wall to avoid silhouette exposure.

I hold M416 out now because mid-range might be needed.

I move through alley.

When I reach other end of alley — I hear vehicle engine faint in distance — sounds like buggy — direction approx 200 meters left.

I crouch and hold.

Engine sound increases.

Buggy comes into view from tree line — one player driving, heading toward road intersection.

I ADS 2x scope — slight lead needed because buggy is moving.

I fire short bursts.

Bullets hit metal body of buggy — sparks visible.

He swerves slightly to right.

I keep firing controlled bursts.

I see blood spray — one hit confirmed on driver.

He speeds up away.

He escapes.

I don't chase because open field would expose me.

I reposition to a low trench ditch area near tractor.

I go prone for few seconds to monitor sound.

No immediate movement.

I stand again.

I start rotating toward small shack cluster.

Halfway there — I hear single footstep sound to my right, very close — maybe 10 meters behind a haystack.

Not above. Not inside building.

Ground level.

10m max.

I crouch instantly.

I slowly peek right.

I spot half body behind hay bale.

He is crouched too.

He is looking opposite direction.

He thinks threat is in his front side.

I take M416 and fire controlled burst — aiming upper torso.

He drops immediately — instant kill.

---

I look around for any other movement.

None.

Now I move toward the shack cluster.

There are two shacks — one metal, one wood.

I aim at metal shack window.

I don't see silhouette.

I aim at wood shack door crack.

No movement.

I approach with crouch.

I lean peek door.

Inside wood shack — no one.

I go to metal shack.

Door closed.

I pause.

Door closed = could be unlooted or could be someone camping inside.

I do not open door straight.

I throw flashbang first.

I pull pin → short cook → throw → step left.

Flash pops.

I push door open and step sideways into shack.

Empty.

No player inside.

I loot two items inside:

1 first aid kit

60 9mm ammo (I skip this)

I hear another distant gunfight — single AR burst — maybe at ridge area north.

I ignore for now.

I decide to rotate toward small hill to gain high ground view.

I hold M416 ready.

I move towards hill, staying close to tree lines.

I stay close to tree trunk cover and climb the small hill incline in a crouched walk, not sprinting.

I don't want to generate clear movement audio.

When I reach the top edge of the hill, I stop before fully cresting.

I go prone at the last slope angle so that only my head can see over the ridge when I tilt up.

From here I have visual on:

a road segment down below

a small fuel station structure further right

three small houses near the gas station

I take 2x scope and scan slowly.

I see open field to my left — no movement.

I see no player near the gas station pumps.

But I do see a sedan parked near the houses, slightly angled like someone braked there recently.

Vehicle orientation suggests someone parked for loot, not random spawn.

I hold M416 steady.

I scan windows of nearest house.

2nd window: no movement.

3rd window: curtain asset not present, open view inside.

There is a player crouched near a table, picking loot.

He is facing away from me.

Distance approx 150-160 meters.

I adjust my aim slightly upwards to compensate for distance with 2x.

I fire short bursts:

tap tap tap tap

Blood flicker confirms hits.

Player remains crouched but turns to face left side — confused.

I adjust aim slightly again, fire second burst.

He drops.

Kill feed confirms elimination.
