Two flames blazed in Thomas Shannon's eyes; he found it hard to calm down. "Tell me, why are you throwing a tantrum?"
"Why bother asking when you already know?"
"I want to hear it from your own mouth."
Sophie Sullivan closed her eyes briefly and took a deep breath. "First, let go of me."
Thomas Shannon did as she asked and released her. Sophie Sullivan forced a smile. "Are you angry that I ran away the day before your business trip?"
The corner of Thomas Shannon's mouth curled up slightly in tacit agreement.
"Thomas Shannon, don't you know I hate Raina Bell?" Sophie Sullivan found this utterly laughable. "You're the one who personally said that Raina Bell is not allowed to set foot in the castle without permission. She entered without permission. I hit her, and you stopped me. Why did you stop me from hitting her? Have you ever considered the reason?"
