It didn't even have to be Nick or Pat who had to discover this either. Berk, Urek, or Gibson would've been able to break this mirage had they sensed it too. But Cedric's mirage was just that good despite it not being his specialty.
In the end, it wasn't until a hundred years later, after the mirage was completely gone and all traces of Cedric's meddling were gone, that Nicholas and Patricia saw the state of the Crimson Womb Chaos Realm.
"Unbelievable!" Urek exclaimed as he now saw the current state of the chaos realm.
He wasn't alone. He's accompanied by his fellow sovereigns. Upon sensing the change, Nick and Pat didn't waste time and informed the others right away. Then, they immediately went over to check what happened.
