Nathan Leafcastle looked at his empty right hand and slowly closed his fingers, as if trying to hold onto her lingering warmth.
"I'm still single."
"No way!" Vera Wave grinned playfully. "A handsome and wealthy CEO like you? The line of women wanting to chase you must stretch from Imperial City to Singapore! You're being too selective! Oh, by the way, I met several pretty young actresses while shooting a commercial these past few days. How about... I introduce some to you? They're absolutely gorgeous, with amazing figures, and super talented... AHEM, I mean, they're great people!"
Nathan Leafcastle raised his hand and tousled her hair.
"You haven't changed a bit since we were kids." He placed his hands on her shoulders and said gently, "No matter what, you have to remember, Brother Nathan will always be your Brother Nathan. Just like we promised when we were little, my city gates will always be open for you."
