Chapter 762 - Chapter 762: Fusion! Rolark!

"Buzz!"—In a moment of unchecked fury, the Dark Lord could no longer tolerate the situation. The dark energy of the Dark Dimension suddenly surged forth, pressing directly toward Earth's dimension.

Caught completely off guard, the Earth's dimensional consciousness was still savoring the energy it had been consuming from the Dark Dimension warriors when the Dark Lord made his move. It didn't even have time to gather a defense before the Dark Lord's power struck.

Previously, the Earth's dimensional rules had allowed the Dark Lord to observe the situation within Earth's boundaries. Due to this, some of their energies and rules had intertwined, allowing the Dark Lord's power to penetrate Earth's dimension more deeply.

"What are you doing?!" The Earth's consciousness was enraged. It hadn't expected the Dark Lord to go back on his word, having previously agreed to let the battle be decided by the outcome of their subordinates. Now, the Dark Lord had personally intervened.

The Earth's consciousness immediately mobilized its power to repel the Dark Lord's energy. Despite the Dark Lord's immense strength, this was still Earth's home turf, and his power, even though it had breached the dimension, was still subject to Earth's influence.

In an instant, the Earth's power surged, forcefully expelling the Dark Lord's influence. Unfortunately, the Earth dimension was just a moment too slow. By the time it had fully purged the Dark Lord's power, his energy had already wrapped around everyone on the battlefield.

In a twisted turn of fate, the battleground, forged from the mingled energies of both the Earth and Dark Dimensions, actually helped the Dark Lord more easily capture everyone on the battlefield.

"Buzz!" A dizzying sensation swept over everyone. Many felt their consciousness blur, as if they were spinning out of control, their minds clouded by the strange dimensional shift.

This level of dimensional manipulation far exceeded the complexity of simple teleportation spells, such as the fiery rings of the portals. Many of the combatants were experiencing such a high-level dimensional transfer for the first time. If not for the remaining influence of Earth's dimensional energy, many might not have survived this sudden shift.

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

As the battlefield began to change, Robert and Clark instantly reacted. Their powers exploded outward, launching beams of light-based energy toward the surrounding Dark Dimension warriors.

Robert and Clark both realized that this was no ordinary attack; the Dark Dimension itself—or perhaps an even greater power—had intervened. If they didn't kill these Dark Dimension warriors now, it would become even more difficult to deal with them later.

Robert, ever perceptive, quickly sensed the dimensional shift. He knew that soon they would face these warriors without the suppressive rules of the Earth dimension. Worse yet, the Dark Dimension's home field advantage would bolster their strength.

Even though Robert and Clark's light-based powers would still counter the Dark Dimension warriors, the enemies would be strengthened by their home dimension's endless resources, making them much harder to defeat.

However, what Robert hadn't anticipated was that the Dark Lord didn't intend to leave anything to his subordinates. He was ready to take matters into his own hands, hoping to resolve everything before the Earth's consciousness could fully respond.

"Buzz!"—As the disorienting effects of the dimensional shift faded, it became clear that the battlefield had been forcibly moved outside the Earth's dimension. An overwhelming pressure spread across the battlefield, instantly knocking out many, including the battle-hardened Tony Stark.

However, rendering the Avengers unconscious wasn't the Dark Lord's primary goal. He intended to capture Morbius, Blade, the vampires, and the werewolves in one fell swoop.

Even the vampires and werewolves, whose genetic enhancements were not yet complete, caught the Dark Lord's eye. His power was far beyond that of any of the Dark Dimension warriors. If he wanted to capture Morbius and the others, there was no one capable of stopping him.

Though Clark and Robert's light-based powers instinctively repelled the Dark Lord, he could easily keep his distance from them. After all, Morbius, Blade, the vampires, and the werewolves weren't near either Robert or Clark, leaving the Dark Lord free to act without interference.

However, the Dark Lord had underestimated Robert's reaction speed.

The moment Robert noticed the dimensional shift, he was on high alert. He knew that neither he nor Clark could take on an entire dimension by themselves, so he remained tense, ready to seize any chance for survival.

"Superman! Use the fusion technique!" Robert shouted as he sensed the Dark Lord's energy flooding the battlefield. With a burst of speed, he vanished from sight.

Clark immediately understood what Robert meant. He also disappeared, leaving the remaining Dark Dimension warriors behind. There was no time to deal with them.

In a blink, Clark and Robert reappeared together. They began a series of synchronized, strange dance movements that left Kara and Diana watching in confusion.

The odd, two-person dance looked far from graceful. Kara and Diana were baffled—why were they dancing at such a critical moment? And why hadn't Robert ever danced with them before?

"Buzz!"—But the moment Clark and Robert's fingers touched in an odd, pointed gesture, a radiant light burst from the center of their fusion, causing even the Dark Lord, who had been in the midst of capturing Morbius and the others, to pause in surprise.

In the next instant, a tall, muscular figure appeared in the center of the light. He had a hairstyle similar to Robert's, but his facial features carried traces of both Clark and Robert. A faint smile played on his lips, reminiscent of Robert's usual grin.

"Hiss!"—As this man emerged, an overwhelming yet gentle aura swept across the battlefield, dispersing the Dark Lord's oppressive energy in an instant.

"What the…?" The Dark Lord blinked in confusion as Morbius and the others suddenly slipped out of his control. Everything had happened so fast that even the Dark Lord, with his immense power, couldn't quite grasp what had just transpired.

Most importantly, the Dark Lord had no idea who this new figure was. Why did his presence irritate the Dark Lord so much?

"Is this what the Saiyans call fusion?" The Earth's consciousness, which had been ready to intervene against the Dark Lord, was equally baffled. Though it had no actual brain, even the Earth's consciousness was stunned by what it had just witnessed.

It had been closely observing Robert and Clark, its two strongest warriors. But to see them perform such a seemingly childish dance, fusing into a single being far stronger than either of them alone, seemed almost like a joke.

The Earth's consciousness had seen countless powerful techniques and rules of the universe, but this bizarre Metamoran fusion, with its strange dance and extraordinary result, was something entirely new.

"Buzz!"—While everyone was still in shock, the newly formed fusion warrior began radiating terrifying light-based energy. In an instant, the gentle aura surrounding the battlefield was replaced by blazing light energy.

While this energy didn't harm anyone on Earth's side, the remaining Dark Dimension warriors were immediately consumed by the flames.

"No!"

"How is this possible?!"

"I don't want to die!"

Cries of despair echoed across the battlefield as the Dark Dimension warriors realized that their hopes had been shattered. Just moments ago, they believed the Dark Lord's intervention would ensure their victory, allowing them to fulfill their mission and ensure the rise of the Dark Dimension. They thought they would finally be free of the fear of light energy.

But now, a power far greater than Robert or Clark's was engulfing the entire battlefield, burning them to ashes.

The intensity of the light energy was such that even the strongest of the Dark Dimension's first-tier warriors could only utter their final, pitiful words. The weaker ones didn't even have time to scream before they were reduced to dust.

In fact, the light energy was destroying the Dark Dimension warriors so quickly that it rivaled the speed at which the Dark Lord could have drained their life force himself.

In just a moment, there were no Dark Dimension warriors left on the battlefield. Not even a trace of their energy remained, much to the Earth's consciousness's dismay.

The Earth's dimensional consciousness was deeply pained by this. Since these warriors had died outside its realm, it couldn't absorb any of their energy. To make matters worse, the intense light energy had burned away every last drop of the Dark Dimension's power.

"Who are you?!" A cold voice echoed from beyond the battlefield.

"Robert and Clark's fusion. Call me Rolark," the fusion warrior said after briefly considering his new name. "Take care of them and make sure they return safely. Leave this Dark Dimension fiend to me."

Rolark didn't bother addressing the Dark Lord directly. Instead, he spoke to the Earth's consciousness before stepping out of the battlefield and toward the dark energy surrounding it.

"Hiss!"—As Rolark moved into the area outside the battlefield, the dark energy began to burn away, revealing the vast, sprawling Dark Dimension beyond.

"Damn it! It's that irritating power again!" The Dark Lord, still in his domain, growled through gritted teeth. His eyes flared with anger, but there was also a hint of hesitation.

The Dark Lord was undeniably furious. He had intervened personally, yet he had failed to capture Morbius and the others. This was an unacceptable failure.

What was worse was that countless Dark Dimension warriors had been slaughtered by Rolark. They had all been valuable assets to the Dark Lord, and this loss was far too great to bear.

Even though he didn't want to admit it, the Dark Lord couldn't ignore the sense of danger he felt from Rolark. The immense light energy radiating from him was a direct threat, one that the Dark Lord wasn't sure he could handle.

The Dark Lord still

hadn't realized that Rolark was a fusion of Clark and Robert, but the sheer power of Rolark's light energy was overwhelming, making it difficult even for the Dark Dimension itself to suppress it.

If the Dark Lord could neutralize the light energy, he might have had a chance to overpower Rolark. But as long as Rolark wielded that light, the Dark Lord was reluctant to engage.

What the Dark Lord hadn't anticipated was that while he was contemplating retreat, Rolark had no intention of letting him go.

"Buzz!"—A gleam of excitement flickered in Rolark's eyes as he began to gather his energy. A massive Kamehameha wave formed between his hands, growing more powerful by the second. Rolark's smile widened in anticipation.

"What are you doing?!" The Dark Lord's voice was filled with alarm, but he received no answer. Instead, Rolark responded with a powerful blast of energy aimed straight at the Dark Dimension.

"Damn it!"—Seeing the energy wave racing toward his realm, the Dark Lord had no choice but to respond. He hurled a massive dark energy ball to intercept the attack.

"Hiss!"—A rare spectacle unfolded between dimensions. The two opposing energies collided, but it only took an instant for the light-based Kamehameha to obliterate the dark energy ball. Without losing momentum, it continued its path toward the Dark Dimension.

"No!" The Dark Lord's pupils shrank as he realized he had underestimated Rolark's strength. Even without the light energy, Rolark's power was beyond what he could handle. The sheer destructive force of the Kamehameha was too much.

"Whoosh!"

"Whoosh!"

"Whoosh!"

Desperate, the Dark Lord began launching dark energy balls in rapid succession, hoping to slow down the Kamehameha wave…
