Chapter 763 - Chapter 763: Overwhelming Power! The Strength of Fusion!

"Shhh!" In the void between dimensions, the sound of energy clashing and dissipating echoed continuously. The Kamehameha wave that Rolark had unleashed was far stronger and more resilient than the Dark Lord had expected, but in the end, the Dark Lord managed to dissipate it by pouring immense amounts of energy into countering it.

However, the energy he expended to neutralize the Kamehameha was several times greater than the energy contained in the attack itself, primarily because the wave was imbued with energy that countered the Dark Dimension.

And yet, to Rolark, that single Kamehameha was nothing. As soon as the Dark Lord dispersed it, Rolark's lips curled into a mocking grin. He extended his hand toward the Dark Dimension, and another series of Kamehameha waves began to form and shoot from his palm.

"Whoosh!"

"Whoosh!"

"Whoosh!"

Like a machine gun, Rolark fired wave after wave of energy blasts toward the Dark Dimension.

"What?!" The Dark Lord, who had just neutralized the previous attack and was thinking about retreating to avoid further conflict with Rolark, was alarmed. He saw the incoming barrage of powerful Kamehameha waves, each one as dangerous as the last. Every single blast posed a threat to both him and the Dark Dimension.

"Shit!" The Dark Lord cursed. He didn't want to keep engaging Rolark, knowing that it wasn't worth the energy and risk. He began to shift the Dark Dimension itself, attempting to flee from this dangerous opponent.

However, the problem was that the Kamehameha waves were too fast. While the Dark Dimension moved quickly between dimensions, it was still a vast realm, and escaping wasn't as simple as just disappearing.

In a flash, the Kamehameha waves caught up to the Dark Dimension before it could even fully initiate its retreat. The Dark Lord realized that unless he found a way to hold Rolark back, he wouldn't even have a chance to escape—unless he resorted to drastic measures.

"Buzz!"—Left with no other choice, the Dark Lord once again began countering the Kamehameha waves. However, this time there were too many. Rolark was still relentlessly firing them without pause.

The situation became worse when the Dark Lord noticed that some of the waves could bend and avoid his dark energy spheres, directly hitting the Dark Dimension itself.

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

Explosions erupted within the Dark Dimension as wave after wave of energy tore through it, killing countless creatures that lived within. The explosions wreaked havoc on the realm.

The Dark Lord wasn't particularly heartbroken over the deaths of these creatures. Most of the true elites of the Dark Dimension had already perished on the battlefield between Earth and the Dark Dimension. What remained were the lower-tier beings, mere cannon fodder that had no significant value in the larger scheme of things.

Still, even these low-level creatures, despite being little more than expendable troops, were stronger than the average Chitauri soldier.

Unlike planetary civilizations where supernatural abilities were rare and concentrated among a few individuals, the creatures of the dimensions were all inherently powerful due to their origins. The harsh environments of dimensions demanded supernatural strength just to survive. Without it, they wouldn't last a day.

Under the relentless assault of Kamehameha waves, the Dark Dimension was torn apart, as though it had been plowed through by an unstoppable force. Most of the beings within were annihilated, and even though this meant the Dark Dimension wouldn't have to reclaim their energy later, the damage was severe.

But the worst part wasn't just the death of these creatures—it was that the Kamehameha waves were starting to affect the Dark Dimension itself. The light energy contained within the blasts was beginning to erode and disrupt the very rules and essence of the Dark Dimension, something the Dark Lord couldn't tolerate.

"You're courting death!" The Dark Lord's eyes flashed with cold fury as he sensed the changes within his realm. Without warning, an eerie dark energy materialized around Rolark, engulfing him.

"Poof!"—After successfully landing this sneak attack, the Dark Lord didn't press the advantage. Instead, he focused on expelling the light energy that was ravaging his dimension and prepared to flee once more.

"Shhh!" But just as the Dark Lord began his retreat, the dark energy that had enveloped Rolark dissipated into nothing, dissolving like smoke.

"Running away? Did you even ask for my permission?" Rolark reappeared, looking toward the retreating Dark Dimension with a displeased expression. He had just started attacking—there was no way he'd let the Dark Dimension escape so easily.

"Whoosh!" In an instant, Rolark vanished from his spot, seemingly crossing the boundaries of space and dimensions. When he reappeared, he was already inside the Dark Dimension.

The moment Rolark materialized, the dark energy around him surged, as if trying to engulf and devour him.

"Shhh!"—But Rolark's light energy flared up, illuminating everything around him. The dark energy, which had been thick and tangible, ignited like dry kindling, burning away and even spreading outward to consume more of the surrounding darkness.

"What?! When did this happen? Damn it!" The Dark Lord roared in fury as he realized what was happening inside his realm. Normally, any outsider who entered the Dark Dimension would be suppressed by its rules, much like how the Earth's dimension suppressed invaders.

This suppression was a self-protection mechanism common to most dimensions. Without such a safeguard, powerful enemies could invade and wreak havoc, turning the dimension into a lawless battleground.

However, the Dark Dimension's suppression didn't seem to affect Rolark. It wasn't that Rolark's power had surpassed the entire Dark Dimension; it was that his light energy was not only countering the Dark Dimension's rules but actively suppressing them.

It was as if a miniature Light Dimension had invaded the Dark Dimension!

"It's still too slow! If it's already burning, let's make it burn faster!" Rolark muttered with dissatisfaction as he surveyed his surroundings. He shook his head slightly, then began moving through the Dark Dimension at an incredible speed.

"Shhh!"

"Boom!"

As Rolark moved, the light energy he emitted spread further, setting the dark energies ablaze. At the same time, Rolark continued to unleash Kamehameha blasts, bombarding the dimension.

To the Dark Dimension, Rolark was like a marauding invader. Not only was he setting everything on fire, but he was also blowing things up, seemingly intent on destroying the entire realm.

However, as Rolark rampaged through the Dark Dimension, he suddenly stopped. His gaze shifted upward.

In the skies above the Dark Dimension was an eternal full moon, a constant feature of the realm. Rolark sensed something peculiar about it. Without hesitation, he fired another Kamehameha blast directly at the moon.

"Buzz!"—But just as the blast was about to hit, Rolark's body flickered and then vanished, as if he had been forcibly ejected from the dimension.

Along with Rolark, the blazing light energy and the Kamehameha wave he had unleashed also disappeared.

The Dark Lord had used a power similar to what the Earth's dimensional consciousness had employed earlier—a dimensional expulsion. Without a significant difference in strength, even someone as powerful as Rolark, despite his light energy countering the Dark Dimension, could still be forced out by this special expulsion ability.

Naturally, Rolark sensed the rule-based power as it was used. He had tried to interrupt the process with his Kamehameha, but ultimately, he failed.

"Dimensional rules… No energy fluctuations, yet incredibly effective. It's like a fundamental force. It seems to operate on a higher level…" Rolark murmured as he stood between dimensions, his eyes gleaming with thought.

"This rule-based power is different from the rules shown by the Dark and Earth dimensions. It's simpler, yet more advanced. In contrast, the rules used by the Dark and Earth dimensions still rely on energy as a foundation."

"Buzz!"—As Rolark pondered these mysteries, the massive Dark Dimension suddenly disappeared, replaced by a shining full moon, the same one Rolark had noticed earlier.

But as Rolark gazed at the moon, it began to change. It shrank and transformed into the figure of a man—cloaked, pale-faced, and grim. This was the Dark Lord's humanoid form.

Ordinarily, the Dark Lord's true form wouldn't have been this small, but the damage Rolark had caused was so extensive that the Dark Lord felt that having a smaller form might be more advantageous. A smaller body meant greater agility and the ability to evade Rolark's Kamehameha waves more easily.

"Poof!"—As the Dark Lord finished assuming his humanoid form, he spat out a wave of energy—a Kamehameha-like blast, imbued with flames and light energy.

It was clear that the Dark Lord was attempting to use Rolark's own attack against him.

"Smack!" But Rolark wasn't affected by light energy, nor was he afraid of fire. With a casual slap, he deflected the blast into the void, where it disappeared into the dimensional rift, its destination unknown.

Afterward, Rolark's eyes lit up with excitement as he looked at the Dark Lord, eager for a fight. However, what Rolark didn't expect was that the Dark Lord, after launching the attack, immediately turned and fled in the opposite direction!

This completely caught Rolark off guard. He had thought that with the Dark Lord in humanoid form, they would finally have a proper, man-to-man battle. Instead, the Dark Lord was still trying

 to escape!

If the Dark Lord had heard Rolark's thoughts, he would have undoubtedly retorted: "How about you try fighting someone who completely counters you? Or better yet, fight a rock without any armor and see if you still want a brawl?"

There was no communication between Rolark and the Dark Lord, but it was clear that Rolark wasn't going to let the Dark Lord escape so easily.

"Whoosh!" Rolark crossed dimensions and space once more, his speed even faster than the Dark Lord's. He appeared beside him and threw a punch at the fleeing enemy.

"Huh?!" The Dark Lord sensed Rolark's attack and prepared to dodge, but then he noticed something—the light energy that had repelled him was no longer present. His eyes lit up with realization, and he braced himself, meeting Rolark's punch head-on!

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

In an instant, the two exchanged countless blows. Without the suppression of light energy, the Dark Lord suddenly felt like he could fight back.
