Chapter 810 - Chapter 810: Dancing with the Enemy, Entering the Tiger's Den

Facing the aggressive, foul-smelling Rot Lord, Robert was genuinely reluctant to engage. It wasn't that he couldn't win, but rather, he was simply disgusted by the thought of fighting such a creature.

With a wave of his hand, Robert unleashed a ki blast aimed at the Rot Lord to block his path. But the Rot Lord didn't stop; his aura surged into a tangible, gaseous energy that collided with the ki blast.

This was the first time Robert had seen energy manifest like this. It was somewhat similar to the materialization of ki flame, but also distinctly different. Robert's ki flame hadn't reached this level of effect yet.

As the green gas clashed with the ki blast, the two energies began to cancel each other out. However, while Robert's ki blast dissipated, the Rot Lord's energy transformed into pure gas that spread in all directions.

"No!" Several nearby dimensional creatures were caught in the expanding green gas. They clutched their throats, convulsing in pain as they collapsed.

Although this green gas wasn't as potent as the Rot Lord's original poison, since it had been weakened by the ki blast, it still caused severe reactions in the creatures that inhaled it. Even if it didn't dissolve them immediately, the lingering poison might prove fatal over time.

"You all head back to Earth's dimension. I'll handle things here. Your task is to guard the sanctum's formation," Robert said, frowning at the scene, then addressing the Kamar-Taj students fighting in the dimension.

"Got it! Be careful!" Constantine and the others quickly agreed, realizing that they couldn't provide much help against such a powerful foe. Now that Robert could teleport using instant transmission, they didn't even need to open a portal for him anymore, making them less useful in the battle.

They quickly retreated into Earth's dimension, focusing on repairing the sanctum's damaged defensive array.

"Well, he's good at killing quickly. I'll let him deal with these creatures for now, and maybe we'll draw out some bigger fish. If not, I'll move to the next phase of the plan," Robert muttered to himself, watching the students return. He then retracted his ki blast and grinned coldly at the Rot Lord before flying toward the remaining dimensional creatures.

"Damn it! Don't run away!" The Rot Lord hesitated when he saw Robert retract his attack, but when he saw Robert charging toward the dimensional creatures, his fury reached new heights. His aura grew even more terrifying, and he closed the distance between them in a flash.

"Don't come near us!" the panicked dimensional creatures screamed. They began to scatter like headless chickens, frantically trying to flee.

Most of them knew they were cannon fodder in this invasion, but they still didn't want to die. They had hoped to breach Earth's dimension and enjoy its resources, but now, all those hopes were shattered.

With Robert blasting the creatures from the front and the Rot Lord poisoning them from behind, the dimensional creatures, despite their numbers, had no chance of survival. Their power levels were nowhere near that of the Rot Lord or Robert.

Yet, things didn't go exactly as Robert had expected. Even after the creatures were wiped out, no strong figures from the other dimensions stepped in to stop him. The leaders ignored the slaughter, and once the cannon fodder was gone, they seemed more eager.

They knew that now, with all the weaker creatures dead, Robert would have no choice but to face the Rot Lord directly.

"They're all dead? That was fast. But this place is truly awful," Robert muttered, surveying the green, poisoned environment, clearly displeased.

"This guy's ability is quite unique. Everywhere he goes becomes his domain. Even though this environment doesn't affect me, it definitely gives him an advantage. I can't let him get too comfortable," Robert thought.

With a quick decision, Robert vanished from his spot.

"Damn it! You slippery coward! Where did you go now?!" The Rot Lord roared in frustration when he saw Robert disappear again. He cursed at the empty space, his rage boiling over.

Though it was the Rot Lord who had spread the poison, Robert's hit-and-run tactics made it seem like he was playing a game of cat and mouse, infuriating the Rot Lord even more.

"Huh?!" Just as the Rot Lord was about to lose it, he sensed Robert's power again. Turning around, he saw Robert standing near a dimensional passageway, smiling and charging up a terrifying ki blast.

"To be honest, a dimension as disgusting as yours shouldn't come near Earth. You're polluting the air," Robert taunted as the ki blast roared to life in his hand.

Boom!

The powerful blast struck the dimensional passageway. While Robert didn't have the ability to destroy space itself, the dimensional energy maintaining the passageway was another matter. With a deafening explosion, the passage collapsed, cutting off the Rot Lord's connection to his home dimension.

No one knew how far the Rot Dimension was from Earth, but one thing was clear—the Rot Lord now had no easy way to return home.

And this was just the beginning of Robert's plan for a counterattack!

"You bastard!" Seeing his passageway destroyed, the Rot Lord was enraged. It was as if Robert had just torn down his house right in front of him.

Instinctively, the Rot Lord considered retaliation, perhaps by doing the same to Earth's dimension. But they were already at the border of Earth's dimension—there were no passageways for him to destroy. And as for attacking Earth directly, the Rot Lord knew he didn't have the strength to take down the sanctum's formation by himself.

Realizing this, the Rot Lord exploded with fury, charging at Robert with increased speed, his toxic aura spreading even faster.

"How strong is this Sayian? It's hard to tell, but his energy is incredibly pure, and his destructive power is overwhelming. What dimension could he come from?" the other dimensional leaders began to murmur, watching Robert's actions in stunned silence.

"It's hard to say what his power limits are, but he's certainly no weakling among the lord-level beings. And look at how fast he is. The Rot Lord's chasing him furiously, but he still can't catch up… wait, what is he doing now?!"

The leaders were taken aback as Robert flew into another dimensional passageway instead of fleeing. The Rot Lord, fueled by rage, followed him right in.

For a moment, the dimensional leaders were confused. Was Robert walking into a trap? After all, entering a foreign dimension meant stepping into enemy territory, where the lord had the home-field advantage. Once inside, escaping would be far more difficult.

"What are you doing?!" an enraged voice suddenly echoed from within the passageway. The leaders focused their attention, eager to see what was happening inside.

Robert had entered an alien dimension where all the creatures had octopus-like heads, somewhat reminiscent of Hydra's emblem. Upon entering, Robert smirked, ready to unleash chaos.

From the moment Robert arrived in this world, he had few chances to use his ki blasts without holding back. Back when he was weaker, his blasts hadn't been all that destructive, and later, when his power increased, he had to control the range and power of his attacks to avoid blowing up Earth.

Other than a few moments in the Mirror Dimension and during his battle in Asgard, Robert hadn't had many opportunities to unleash his full power. Even on Earth, he was always holding back.

But now, things were different. Robert was in someone else's domain, in a dimension hostile to Earth. He had no qualms about unleashing his full destructive potential here.

Robert felt that his power was still not enough to destroy the dimension itself, but he could at least rain devastation upon its inhabitants and landscape.

While Robert was slightly dissatisfied with his output, the alien dimension's lords were horrified. In the blink of an eye, Robert had killed countless creatures, obliterated large swathes of land, and drained massive amounts of the dimension's energy—something the alien lords couldn't tolerate.

On top of that, the Rot Lord's poison was wreaking havoc, clashing with the alien dimension's native power. The Rot Dimension's energy began to counteract the alien dimension's natural forces, adding to the chaos.

Swoosh! Faced with this catastrophe, the alien lords finally reached a consensus with their dimension's consciousness. They gathered their energy to trap both Robert and the Rot Lord, preventing further destruction, and prepared to focus all their power on eliminating Robert first.

"The space is being sealed? The entire dimension is locked down?" Robert sensed the pressure surrounding him. "Or is it the dimension's consciousness itself using its power against me? Ha, do you think it'll be that easy?"

Boom!

With a terrifying explosion, Robert obliterated everything around him and vanished from the dimension.

"Did he… self-destruct?" The alien lords and other watching dimensional leaders were stunned. They sensed Robert's energy had disappeared from the alien dimension entirely, and with the space sealed, he shouldn't have been able to teleport out.

"Sayian?" Back in Earth's dimension, Baron Mordo and the others guarding the sanctum were startled when Robert suddenly appeared before them, without any indication of spatial disturbance.

"Don't worry, I'm just making a quick stop. Keep guarding Earth. I'll handle things outside," Robert said with a grin, waving to them before vanishing once more.

"What was that?" Doom muttered, still processing Robert's bizarre moves. Meanwhile, Constantine and Mordo had already grown accustomed to Robert's unpredictability.
