I looked down from my home towards the Juvenile Zilla but was careful not to catch the attention of the other battle from the skies, though I doubt that they would notice my tiny hiding self.
*Shhhaaahhhh!!!!!* *Ffffwoooohhh*
The Warbat, now fully encased in its own blood, was beginning to slow down. As opposed to earlier when it successfully managed to get some Leafwings by spinning in the air, or by going to the cliffside and flying close to it making some Leafwings hit the cliff, though that strategy now became detrimental as time went on because now it frequently keeps miscalculating the force it applies in its wingbeats, leading to it getting its own body to constantly smash the durable rock formation.
"Oof, that's gotta hurt" you might be wondering why I'm still watching instead of hiding away completely, well, it's a lot like seeing a couple on the street having a fight, you probably shouldn't look at it, but you just can't take your eyes off of it, it's an Asian thing I picked up when I was a kid from my Asian orphanage caretakers, at least that what I use to justify that habit of mine, and I never really learned to stop doing that even when it also came to bite me back in the ass.
One time I saw a couple having an argument in public because the guy couldn't catch up to his girlfriend, they were jogging based on their clothing and the guy started to berate the girl for being impatient, and what did I do?
Nothing, I just kept walking towards my destination all the while looking at them arguing, though that was a bad idea since I ran into a pole. I had hoped at the time that the sound wasn't loud but I wasn't graced with luck my whole life.
The side of my head kissed the pole and made a loud noise which completely stopped their arguments, it was another one of the many embarrassments I experienced in my last life, and the me at that time being a kid walking home from school was my tiny saving grace from being a complete embarrassment.
Shaking my head off my thoughts, I continued to watch, The Warbat kept opening its mouth, pointing it towards the swarm that surrounds it, some green fluid kept spraying out of the small opening on the bottom of its mouth, albeit in such a miniscule amount.
It seemed like it tried to spray out some venom or acid from its glands which unfortunately for him was probably empty.
I kept observing the Warbat since I could see more clearly now, and judging from the long series of strands or "whiskers" that followed along its jawline and undeath its chin, I assume it was an old Warbat, meaning it was now nearing the end of its life, literally and metaphorically.
*Shhhaaaa* *boom*
With one final breath, the giant flying serpent fell to the ground with a loud thud, which led to the yellow swarm perching on its downed carcass, and began to feed like starved piranhas.
"Welp, RIP in peace old man ... .snake? Whatever"
*Shaaaaaa*
Oh, it's not dead, Man, gotta respect the tenacity
I thought it was already dead when it went down and was being perched on by the Leafwings but it was still rolling around the ground, fighting to its literal last breath.
I didn't like watching another animal struggle, so with that, I turned my attention to the Juvenile zilla once more, it was dragging its kill inside the small lake it popped out of, and I could see multiple tinier versions of itself riding the body of the felled bovine.

'Well isn't that cute?, Taking care of individuals of the same species do increase the odds of survival, especially in this dangerous world' I took a quick peek at the swarm of Leafwings decimating the old Warbat before returning it to the Zilla 'It's probably grooming the little guys into becoming its henchmen or maybe even mates in the future, kind of like an investment, who knows, Nature is wilder than fiction'
"I'd better leave now, wouldn't want the swarm to come after me" The warbat was literally rolling quite close into my home so I slowly made my way back to the cave, and what greeted me was pure total darkness aside from the light beaming from outside through the caves entrance, but slowly my eyes adjusted "Wha-?"

'Ho?, I mean it makes sense that Night Furies can see in the dark, Toothless was literally able to divebomb Berk at night with amazing accuracy' I remarked, I could see more clearly, but it was still a bit dim.
If I could compare it to something, it was more akin to a bright moonlight in the evening with a full moon. I could see the shapes, but the colors and their depth were a bit dulled and watered down, but it was still better than nothing.
