Raven feeing the air becomes a bit suffocating as both alphas lost in thought unknowingly releasing their pheromones.
"Thank you Sir Aiden for helping me find my mate. If I apologize for not recognizing you."
Raven bright the two to the present.
"How would you recognize me?"
Aiden arched a brow.
"Oh the weekly magazine had an article on you and Sage just last month. Fiona was gushing about the article."
The mention of his sister had Sage stiffen. Aide however looked a bit confused then his eyes glowed with recognition. His head sliding to Sage.
"That's right you were supposed to marry last night to a woman. How is it that you ended up with a male mate? No offense."
He gave Raven an apologetic look.
A look of anger slid across Sage's face before he schooled it back into a professional smile.
"Babe there is a desert bar just on the other side of this wall why don't you go get some snacks. As much as you want."
Sage cooed a doting smile on his lips. Feeling like the two alphas had some important business to discuss he excused himself happy to eat his fill of some delectable sweets.
Once Raven was out of ear shot Sage fixed Aiden with a stern glare. "Tell me everything that happened at the cafe, also hand over that envelope."
His hands reached for the paper envelope immediately opening at as Aiden relayed to him word for word what had happened just minutes ago.
The more he spoke the darker Sage's features became.
"That sly bitch see that he didn't make her life miserable. If she dared mess with him again."
He was reading through his he contacts of the envelope at a rapid pace. Aiden's cousin was a high level hacker he was more than happy to help Sage with the his easy request.
Sage slammed the paper work on the table sliding its contents toward a bewildered Aiden. After reading through the papers and the picture accompanying its information his face soured too before he burst out laughing remembering his earlier thoughts.
Sage glared at him wanting to smack his head smirk off his face.
He had been thoroughly duped by a woman whom he had been about to marry. Even their first encounter at an art gallery had been planed by her. She had planted herself right in his way and he fell for it. She had known almost everything about him and now it was clear why. She had higher different private eyes to gather information about him.
She even got a job at his favorite cafe because of them.
While the alphas were busy scrutinizing the new information infront of them Raven was having fun the time of his life.
He tried every cake or sweet that caught his eye while simultaneously conversing with his system.
"Hey Ink, how come there aren't last names in this world? How do they tell one another apart?"
Ink was a lagged behind a bit as his eyes were following a plate of freshly backed eclairs. When his host grabbed them he wiggled with excitement. When those same eclairs appeared in his host's subspace right in-front of a drooling Ink he swore to forever follow his kind and generous host.

Raven digested this information for a moment. Ink chose to savor his own plate of desert while his host digested the information.
"Does that mean there other planets with more then two genders?"

Raven's brows shot up. How.. oh never mind he didn't want to know.
"How are the eclairs Ink?"
[ummm delicious host! Thank you.]
Raven reached for another plate intending to give it to his system when a well manicured hand slapped his hand away from the dessert.
"What the actual hell are you doing here? You are too poor to even afford a crumb and this place."
Her harsh words drew the attention of the server as well as the one in charge of the dessert table.
Several eyes from around the room watched them curiously. They had seen the sweet little omega come over shyly. His big blue eyes began to sparkle with delight upon seeing the table full of sweets.
The woman who had just scolded the young omega snatched the dessert sitting in-front of him as well. He had only take a bite and his cheeks were full. His eyes began to water as he watched the plate sliding out of reach.
She was about to scold him some more when two very handsome alphas approached unbeknown to the sad omega until one lowered his head gently biting the swollen cheek.
He startled clutching at his bitten cheek his eyes narrowed at the culprit. He swallowed quickly then pouted adorably at the man.
"Meany."
Sage couldn't help himself and he dragged Raven into his arms giving him a hot wet kiss right in front of everyone.
The customers and staff quickly averted their eyes. Only the woman before them started in disbelief her face going pale recognizing the two alphas.
One was supposed marry Fiona last night and the other was a well known heir of an architectural firm. She had her eye on him for some time now.
After Sage felt Raven going limp in his arms did he end the kiss. Raven was gasping limply leaned against him, his eyes misty.
Aiden felt like a third wheel while his best friend was showering his omega with affection. He hid a smirk behind his hand. Sage had always claimed to never be lead by an omega's pheromones but one whiff of Raven's and he was goner.
Sage's cold eyes landed on the woman who had dared to take his baby's sweets. His dark eyes narrowed recognition filtering through them.
"I know you."
His recognition put the woman at ease.
"Yes Sir Sage I'm a friend of Fiona's."
She bowed slightly in respect sending Raven a glare.
"Ah yes. She named you her maid of honor."
She beamed at this.
"Yes! That was me."
Her cheeks flushed slightly at being recognized completely.
"Does that mean you knew all along what she was doing?"
That question took her off guard and she looked at him with confusion. She had indeed became close with Fiona but only after t she began to date Sage.
She became friends with her because of her relationship to the powerful Alpha hoping to move up in society once she made a connection with one of his associates.
Realizing something was off she came to a frightening conclusion. Had Raven distorted information about Fiona to poison Sage's mind against her?
She looked at Raven wanting to pluck his dreamy eyes right out of his head.
"Has Raven filled your head with lies?"
Her accusation brought Raven right out of his dreamy state his anger flaring. Memories of her cruel words and actions filtered through his memory.
He pulled away from Sage his anger somehow far more aggressive then he intended it to be.
"How dare you ACCUSE ME?!"
His slim finger stabbed her shoulder pushing her back.
"You and her are two peas in a pod. You're as cruel and calculated as her!"
His yelling shocked even him. He took a small step back coming flat against Sage. He calmed down immediately. It was such a strange feeling having someone sooth him so intensely.
Sage tempers his fury that he felt almost overtake him. Raven's anger had triggered him. He didn't even put the woman in his eyes as his full attention focused on soothing his angry omega.
His sweet omega pheromones began to leek once more signaling to Sage he had to get Raven out of there immediately.
He wasn't worried about Aiden who was already mated.
"Baby are you still hungry?" He noted that he had already consumed several plates of sweets and may need a nutrient rich meal.
When his baby gave a slight nod he asked to be moved to a private room and for the crazy woman to be escorted out.
As the waiter showed them the way Sage turn his cold and indifferent eyes landing on the woman.
"If you dare speak nonsense about my mate again do not hold me responsible for what I do."
Aide didn't eve waist his breath speaking just gave a snort of disgust then followed the couple.
