[3rd POV]
"The next part of the plan is to weaponize the very planet itself. And not in the technological standpoint, but the very nature of the planet" Gwen explained, as she stood in an opening with several of the magic users in the Avengers around her.
This included the Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange, Magik, and a few others that all knew magic and were very skilled at it. Or were skilled enough to help right now at least.
"And how are we to do that?" Magik questioned with her accented voice, staring at the woman that she idolized. She had been saved by Gwen from the dimension that she had been trapped in when Gwen went through and conquered dimensions, and thanks to that Magik looked up to her quite a bit.
"A ritual that is incredibly complex, but equally as powerful" Gwen responded, as she handed each of the magic users in the area a paper which has the ritual on it. This even included Doom, who she had asked to help. As the ritual would need to be applied in Latveria as well.
She even had Storm here, who had been learning magic for years now, and would be using her magic in Wakanda, which was one of the most important locations for it. The last of the unique individuals there was an Atlantean sorcerer who would take care of the seas.
"Doom is not sure if this will work" Doctor Doom spoke as Gwen sighed.
"Man you gotta stop with the third person, Victor. And it will work, I am the one who created it. As long as we all do it properly, this ritual will work just fine. And if it does, then the planet itself will fight back against the symbiotes and Knull" Gwen responded, as the man stared at her before silently nodding.
"Doom will accept your words, Gwendolyn" Doom said, as he knew she was the only one in the world that was undoubtedly smarter than him, even if he was embarrassed to admit it.
"How exactly is the planet going to fight back against the symbiotes?" Wanda asked, looking over the ritual. It was complex, even to her. And she had been studying for the past couple of years in the most advanced magic schools on Malzif, where she was trained by Sorcerer Supremes from several other universes, including one that was adept in the usage of chaos magic.
"It will weaponize the natural energies of the planet, as well as the animals upon it. Strengthening them so they will have enough sentience to fight back against the symbiotes. Not only that, but this ritual will imbue the planet with my energies so that they can actually harm and even kill symbiotes" Gwen explained, as the ritual relied on her.
Without her energy it wouldn't harm the symbiotes at all, as their attacks would basically just slap into the symbiotes like they were slime or something. And in the case of animals, they would just take over the animal and gain more weapons to utilize later.
"And you can withstand that much of a drain?" Another of the Sorcerers in the area questioned, this being Doctor Voodoo, a skilled magic user that specializes in...well, voodoo.
"I have enough energy to power stars, a planet isn't much" Gwen responded with a nod, knowing that this wouldn't even drain one percent of her power, so that is why she was willing to do this. If it had taken even 10% of her total energies than she would not do it, as that could bring about too many consequences.
She had to have as much energy as possible for the battle that was coming.
"Alright. So this ritual just requires us to chant the verses within this and be in specific places on the planet?" Storm asked, as Gwen nodded.
"Mmhmm, places like the Stone Henge, New York's Sanctum, Wakanda, Atlantis, Latveria, and specific other places around the world. They will allow me to do my part easier than just on my own" Gwen responded with a nod.
"I must ask, Gwen, if you are so powerful, why get our aid in this ritual?" Strange asked, finishing his inspection of the ritual. And he had to inwardly admit that it was incredible, and she made it in only a few days.
"It will make things a bit easier. That, and with your magics flowing through the ritual, it will strengthen it with a mixture of the various magics you have. There is a reason why each of you have different chants. It is so that the Earth will be infused with magics from over two dozen different backgrounds. Like Chaos Magic from Wanda, Soul magic from Magik, Wakandan magic from Storm, and on and one" Gwen explained, as the man realized what she was getting at.
"You are weaponizing the very cultures of the world, the histories of humanity" Strange whispered, realizing that this was even stronger than he thought.
Weaponizing the history of the cultures of the world would make the ritual even stronger than normal, as when it came to magic, basically everything had some sort of meaning. And history was a powerful source of strength when it comes to magic.
"Indeed. With that sort of concept behind the ritual, it'll be more than enough to take out a lot of the weaker symbiotes...hopefully" Gwen responded, knowing that Knull would be able to protect the ones in his vicinity.
And if she was right, he would land in New York where all their fights tended to happen. Which is why she has already placed several teleport wards around the place to get the humans there to safety once the battle began.
"You've really prepared for this, haven't you?" Storm said, as Gwen looked at her before chuckling.
"Storm, I've been preparing for Knull for years now. The things I've shown all of you is only a portion of it, and I doubt all of it will work on him. The real preparation is hidden away and will not be revealed until it is the right time" Gwen responded, knowing Project Rebirth was completed and ready to be utilized.
And it would be, very very soon.
"Why hide this other project from us?" Strange asked, causing Gwen to sigh.
"Because it is imperative that the project works, as it will be the key to defeating Knull for good. It is also the longest project I have ever worked on, and has so many different pieces to it that I cannot afford to see it fail. Which means nobody will be knowing about it and what it is until Knull is defeated" Gwen responded, as Strange slowly nodded in understanding.
He wanted to ask more questions, but decided against it upon seeing the look Gwen was giving him. Which was basically a look of warning to not bother asking anything else, as she will not be explaining anything.
"Now, get to your places, it's time we do this" Gwen ordered, as they all nodded rapidly as she created portals for each of them to step through, as they all reappeared around the world in their respective locations.
Giving the mental order to them all, they began to chant in various languages, giving off magical power, as Gwen floated in the atmosphere over Earth, power exuding from her as she began to begin the ritual in rapid pace, her power traveling over the entire planet as she began to literally weaponize the planet itself.
All to fight against Knull.
As Gwen began to flood the Earth with her power, increasing it's overall "Power" Gwen had only one thought on her mind, as her face warped into a small smirk.
'With this...we are finally ready'
