Third-person POV
While the train was en route to Tokyo's big and main terminal, Sho was still monitoring his life servers back in Kaito's lab via his smartphone. Roxas, meanwhile, was writing a draft for one of his fanfics, one that is a "Bungo Stray Dogs" fanfic about Atsushi Nakajima's long-lost brother named Hakki Nakajima (a Shadows user). After drafting a short chapter and publishing it with edited grammar and vocabulary on Jewel Books, he logged into his Discord server, where he was a part of: Writers' Dread. His username was Roxas_Spark79.
Roxas_Spark79: "Hey, guys…"
Hóm_Hai, known for making Vietnamese and Vietnamese-Japanese fanfic characters in his fanfics of anime, saw his message.
Hóm_Hai: "Xin chào, Roxas. How's life in a game in reality?"
Roxas_Spark79: "My vacation back in the Philippines was nuts. First off, a monster appeared in Arevalo, Iloilo, another monster attack in Roxas City, another one in Legazpi City, and the last one in SM Bacoor, Bacoor City, Cavite. And two more: a Batchoy chef was abducted in Taal Island, and a guy named Sugou abducted my older sister and a friend of my friend Kuya Sol in Guimaras Island. I slapped the heck out of Sugou-san with a slipper."
Hóm_Hai: "…"
Hóm_Hai: "Lol, crazy, I knew about Sugou. I may be just a peaceful NPC here in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, but I had access to social media regarding SAO, man."
Roxas_Spark79: "Haha, hai, and I had returned to Japan, still summertime here, with Sho. Anyways, I had published a new chapter in my BSD fanfic while on the go."
Hóm_Hai: "Cảm ơn, thanks, bro."
By 3:10 p.m., the train arrived in Tokyo's main train terminal, and Roxas and Sho got off with their belongings while Anko hovered around and went through physical objects. After riding a taxi, they arrived at the open campus of the Kanagawa International Academy, so Roxas would retrieve the key from the House Keys Desk. There he requested it, and the receptionist did so, saying, "Wow, how long have you been in your home country?"
"A little less than 2 weeks there…" Roxas replied with a smile.
"Okay…"
With that, Roxas and Sho went to the shared house S-2, which was empty and quiet. Minato, Shuto, and Koyuki and their spirit guardians (which their families are so shocked to see) are still in their houses doing whatever they do and training up with mobs in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area. "Nice shared house you have…" Sho whistled while looking at the kitchen from the living room.
"Yup, I am basically man of the house," Roxas responded while dropping his stuff between the sofa and the coffee table. "No one's here."
He then grabbed a plastic bag of Filipino treats from Iloilo and Cebu for the Kirigaya family to try. "Alright, let's go to Kawagoe."
And so, the duo and Anko travelled by train to Kawagoe. Sho was anxious while Roxas was listening to his favourite Filipino music on his phone with headphones. 35 minutes later, and after walking, they had arrived at the Kirigaya home. "Is this it?" Anko asked while being invisible.
"The letters said so…" Sho glanced at a photo of one of the letters from Kirito's uncle to Sho's adoptive parents.
He then glanced at the gate and took a deep breath, pressing the doorbell.
"Hello?" he finally spoke in casual Japanese. "Is this the Kirigaya residence?"
This was followed by a full minute of silence until a girl in a kendo gear opened the gate.
She was Suguha Kirigaya, Kirito's cousin and "sister".
She was taken aback by their presence. "Um…hello, who are you?"
"Are you Kirigaya Suguha, right?" Roxas responded in partially formal Japanese while Anko was snickering and invisible.
"Y-Yes…" replied Suguha. "Who are you?"
"Suguha…" Sho responded, "…I'm Manabat Sho, or Sho Sol Kirigaya-Manabat, Kirito's unknown, long-lost older brother and basically, your cousin, too."
Suguha's jaw dropped super low. "WHAT???"
Roxas saw that as if he sensed that coming.
