Malfonz as dissapointed just like before when comfronted with Akari and the twins love for Neova backed off, no malice just like an outsider again. But as the moments rush in he remembers nothing ever came to him because somebody tried but instead because he made an effort for the action. As he walks in slowly, he sees Dodondon comforted as well as Manny, by the three eldest and Jon the kid he knew of from earlier. As Dondon came and clutched Malfonz's shirt, because he was scared Malfonz carried him picking him up and placing him down near the sleeping Don. Malfonz stayed reading bedtime stories and as other kids slowly inched closer as if moths to a flame, the flame of the story, just like that a new day started.
While brushing their teeth Dodondon as well as Manny pushing and punching each other while brushing their teeth stopped by Jon. Malfonz having tucked in everybody and recieved a good night as well as offered some, saying "Goodnight granny", as he sat near the sofa in the pitch black. He looked out the window, thinking how much did he do, was he feeling empathy or pity for his wrong doings, in truth he felt nothing because he is burdened to never change. But he changed not burdened by Neova's touch, and nor Neova by his. He grew up, while also staying a kid.
He felt the slow ukaleles play in the back of his head. Thinking why couldn't he have friends and feeling like a lump building in his throat, he changed but not suddenly, he was sad because now that he not longer saw humans as ants he was still an addict and when he couldn't release all his pent up anger onto someone he instead had the urge to kill someone else a victim that if he were to get sloppy could end up biting him in the ass. But he unintentionally internalised it as a coping mechanism, they didn't need to be anymore than ants before, he was as stuck as Neova. He was too a cold blooded killer like him. While Neova wanted the pain drained out learning to be ashamed in himself, Malfonz wanted that toxic power. But he couldn't kill the people he began to understand, so lost in thought he didn't even notice Jon behind him who wanted to get to the bathroom.
Jon comes in bringing the other kids seeing as though Malfonz doesn't have his own bed yet, and hes awake, they like the strings on a ukulele come in like a surprise. It was the more adult kids Lukas in with a surprise, Dondy and the more adult Daniel compared to the kid Daniel that got bullied. Asking what's wrong, they decide to have a slumber party try not to sleep the night away. Malfonz stuck in his own head thinking on how maybe he can stomp on ants to get his frustrations out. Like a dinosaur trying to ... or a vampire ... something like that I butched it badly.
As they played around all night from guess who too cards all the way to stories. Malfonz telling them how he was a good archer, he hated golf because its the one thing he sucks at and how that is how it be. Lukas coming in like a swing and a miss, stating just because you hate golf I wanna get good at golf, out of pettyness of the game, Malfonz agreed in respect. Jon still on about snitching but you could even hear Malfonz agreeing with Lukas on how snitches get stitches. Daniel as quiet as ever, as if no emotion but he was just asleep with his eyes open.
Malfonz learned so much that night, how Lukas was as easily angered as Manny and as dumb as Don, he hated animals even because they didn't have the color he painted on paper, why must a cat be only orange or black or white, why cant they be a mix of the rainbow. Jon, the straigh man and the most boring out of all of them wanting a stable income, how did he manage to hear income and know what it was. And then Daniel, nothing from him, he likes sleeping.
