The Long-Horned Demon quickly tilted its head to dodge Brand's sword, reaching out to parry at the same time. But Brand let out a furious roar, and the Earth Sword in his hand was like a black flash; the blade suddenly disappeared from in front of the demon's arm, and the next moment pierced the Long-Horned Demon's shoulder.
With a loud bang, the demon was directly knocked back, crashing into its companion.
Brand immediately saw it climb back up, with a cut on its shoulder so deep the bone was visible, but other than that, it seemed unscathed. Demons have three hearts and four lungs, their bodily functions surpassing humans by far. Such a wound would be severe for a human, but for it, it didn't even count as light.
Brand frowned and quickly retreated. By this time, the remaining demon had swiped at him, and at the last moment, he tilted his head to dodge, but his cheek was still inevitably cut by the wind pressure from the sharp blade, resulting in a stinging wound.
