Ning Chu put on an indifferent face and gave a disdainful look toward the unfamiliar students: "After all that ghost drama in the teaching building, now the classrooms are open for self-study at night too. The study rooms are even more packed."
She glanced through the window into the library—and saw a familiar, smiling face behind the checkout counter: the pervy ghost girl, An An.

Ning Chu's expression stiffened a bit, and she subconsciously moved a little closer to her mother.
That horny ghost was terrified of Black Bean. And since her mom had just come from home, she probably still carried the scent of Black Bean on her.
"Your school had a ghost incident?"
"Don't all schools have urban legends like that…? Anyway, I've personally never seen a ghost."
Ning Chu mumbled that last part with a guilty look.
That ghost girl somehow got "recruited" by the school and was now an official staff member. She was active both during the day and at night, constantly hitting on male students on campus.
Thankfully, Wen Yang carried a sachet made from Black Bean tail fur.
"Mom, it's about time for class."
"I want to take a look at your classroom."
"We have different classrooms for every class… This period should be…"
Seeing her hesitate, Wen Yang jumped in and said, "This class is in room D302."
"Yes! D302!"
"You never seem to know where your classes are." Her mom gave her a light knock on the head. "Go on, then. Wen Yang will take me to your advisor."
"Okay~"
Ning Chu shot Wen Yang a meaningful look.
Don't screw this up! Make a good impression!
Wen Yang instantly understood the message in his girlfriend's eyes. He gave a small nod, face turning serious and composed.
What they'd done so far was just the appetizer—the main event was about to begin!
"Auntie, the advisor's office is on the second floor."
Her mom gave him a side glance. "Alright."
She wasn't too impressed with this broke kid, but they were only freshmen. If we're talking marriage, that wouldn't even be on the table until after graduation.
In three years, her daughter might've already dated a few other people by then. A grown-up succubus college girl falling in and out of love a few times during school—totally normal. As long as she didn't end up with a body count, she could accept it.
Thinking that, she nodded politely and said, "Thank you for your help."
"No trouble at all. Really."
