Chapter 77 - Missing story

I missed something from the scene, from the story. But it wasn't something that I could figure out. For that, I had to head back to a very long past, over thousands of years past. It was almost the time…the time to tell the story of that certain being, who was forced to lose his way.

A certain world inside the 5th layer. Addressing it as a world would be wrong; it wasn't merely a world but a paradise. Those flowers in the field, smiles on the lips of the beings, songs in the voices of the birds, the sun smiling upon the paradise, and the endless love lurking in every part of the world.

The structure of the world was absolutely the same as the world of the Absolute Spirit. For a second, I was confused if they were the same or not. The realms were pretty much residential. The huge castles, city-like structures, and a large castle atop the mountain in the middle of the main realm. In fact, the large castle was so similar to the castle belonging to the Absolute Spirit.

For me, it was the world of the Absolute Spirit all along, in a different time with a different shape.

"Arfanez…. I'm here." A voice caught my concern. It was a gentle feminine voice from the large castle, resounding multiply.

The castle was absolutely similar to the castle of the Absolute Spirit from the inside as well. Someone was running inside the castle toward a center room, taking quick breaths as the person seemed to be pretty tired.

It was a tall, purple-haired girl with a princess-like black dress covering her entirely. Her appearance was simple with a gentle gaze, fair skin, and glowing blue eyes. She paused herself in front of the door belonging to the center room and smiled a little toward the door. One couldn't possibly ask for a better smile than the smile lurking on her lips.

She put her right hand upon the door, and the door instantly opened, revealing the image of the room belonging to the King of the realm, Arfanez. Not the king, but the one who protects and blesses the world by existing there and loving them.

The blonde-haired king with his royal robes, crownless and a blazing smile on his lips. His gentle gaze was pretty much like a saint's. As if the concept of hatred never managed to get closer to him, he's the kindest as he should be. He isn't a ruler who punishes sinners, a ruler who doesn't think a second before taking someone's life. But he's the absolute opposite of that. Instead of punishment, he sincerely fixes their mistakes and changes them with love. Instead of taking their life, he's ready to give his own life for them.

For a moment, it was impossible for me to believe that I was witnessing the presence of the same blonde-haired sovereign. The only thing that separated them was time, but they were absolutely different. One seeks endless chaos and destruction with hatred filling his eyes; the other seeks love and peace with all of his heart where he can never think of laying a finger on mortals.

I wanted to go further into the depth of his story, into his forgotten past.

The name of the purple-haired girl was Liona. She's quite a person of strength and confidence where nothing could possibly stand a chance in front of her. Her bright gaze and smile simply make a person lose their confidence. Those eyes don't merely contain confidence but strength that can destroy anyone standing in front of her. However, something is certainly strange about her. All that confidence in her eyes isn't for herself, but for the ones she wants to protect with all of her strength. She isn't a warrior for conquest, but a protector.

She embodies strength, along with the layout of love and sincerity.

As the door opened, she stepped forward to Arfanez, the figure standing in front of the window to witness the city existing outside.

The room seemed pretty well decorated. A long lobby with luxurious sofas on both sides led toward the golden throne. Couple of windows on the couple of sides behind the throne.

After getting closer behind him, Liona gently put her right hand upon the slope of his neck. Arfanez was out of his concentration during that. As Liona put her hand there, he shifted his concentration over to Liona by shifting his gaze upon her.

He smiled immediately as his sight detected Liona's face.

"So you're here, Liona. Thanks for coming." Arfanez spoke, his voice gentle, unlike the effective and commanding Arfanez I knew.

"I love it, I love it when you call me out." Liona replied, her voice soft while keeping her smile intact.

"So do you want to say something?" She added, in an indifferent way of speaking.

"Nothing really, just wanted to see your smile for a moment." Arfanez replied, smiling like earlier.

Liona blushed a bit and spoke out of shyness, "You called for nothing then, you stupid."

Arfanez smiled a little more widely, gently grabbing Liona's right hand as Liona was about to leave by shifting her gaze backward. As he grabbed her hand, Liona shifted her face back to Arfanez. Due to his little force on Liona, she leaned into his chest and completely fell against him.

"What are you even doing…I have to go, Arfanez." Liona said a little loudly while blushing.

"You don't have to go now. You're going to be my wife, so…." Arfanez replied with a smile, leaving it incomplete.

Liona forcefully got away from Arfanez's chest and ran away from the room. Arfanez kept staring toward her leaving and kept smiling without a pause.

I saw a slightly tall, blonde-haired girl outside the castle in the city. Countless humans all around the city were chattering with each other, completing their usual activities. The blonde haired girl I saw there knelt herself down toward a child with dark hair. It was a girl looking upon the blonde-haired girl with a surprising expression. As for her outfit, she wore a long white red gown that absolutely covered her entirely, and a golden butterfly alike clip holding her long hair in a pretty nice shape. The blonde-haired girl was smiling at the child and spoke to the girl with her gentle and childish voice, "Do you mind taking this flower from me?" offering a beautiful rose to her.
