Chapter 443 - Chapter 444: Gods and Gods

The staff in Whis's hand radiated a dazzling burst of multicolored light, enveloping Kaito and Beerus as they shot straight into the sky.

Only after the three of them disappeared did the others finally dare to breathe again. The sheer pressure from Beerus and Kaito moments ago had been suffocating—so overwhelming it almost made their lungs collapse.

Eighteen still looked uneasy. Seventeen stepped forward and patted her shoulder, saying,

"Don't worry, sis. Brother-in-law's the strongest! I'm sure he'll beat that so-called God of Destruction into the ground!"

Eighteen shot him a glare, grabbed his ear, and snapped,

"This is all your fault, you little punk!"

"Hey, hey, hey, sis, don't blame me! That guy's the one who's got a bad temper! He's the one who starts threatening to erase people every five seconds!"

Eighteen sighed, letting go of his ear. She didn't say another word as she walked over to a large tree and leaned against it. She would wait right there until Kaito came back.

...

At the border between the Sixth and Seventh Universes, a swirl of multicolored light suddenly appeared out of nowhere. As it faded, three figures emerged—Whis, Beerus, and Kaito.

Whis frowned slightly and said to Beerus,

"Beerus-sama, isn't this a bit too close to the Sixth Universe? If you fight here, it might spill over and affect the other side."

Beerus chuckled, grinning mischievously.

"That's exactly why I came here. If Champa doesn't like it, he can come and find me himself! It's been a while since I've given him a good beating anyway."

Whis could only shake his head helplessly. Those two brothers were like children who never grew up—it really gave him a headache.

Beerus flexed his fists eagerly, his face glowing with excitement as he looked at Kaito.

"Alright! Let's have some fun. It's rare to meet someone as interesting as you. Don't worry— even if you lose, I won't destroy you."

Kaito smiled faintly.

"Just for saying that, I'll make sure not to go all out either."

Beerus didn't take the remark seriously. As the most powerful God of Destruction, he didn't believe anyone besides an Angel could truly rival him.

He shot Whis a glance. Whis immediately understood, raising his staff horizontally between the two gods. His tone grew solemn.

"Are both of you ready?"

Kaito and Beerus nodded in unison. The glow at the tip of Whis's staff flashed—signaling the start of the battle.

Buzz!

Two divine auras erupted at once, their pressure shaking nearby planets so violently that some began to crack apart.

A purple radiance flared around Beerus. He raised a single finger, gathering a massive golden sphere of energy and hurling it straight at Kaito.

Kaito didn't even think of dodging—he met it with a single punch. The sphere shattered instantly.

In the blink of an eye, Beerus was already in front of him, spinning into a fierce kick aimed at Kaito's abdomen. But a sudden wave of repulsive force burst from Kaito's body, sending Beerus flying before he could react.

As Beerus stabilized himself, golden light shot from Kaito's eyes—light so intense that no mere physical defense could withstand it. Beerus hastily condensed a black-violet orb of Destruction Energy and clashed it against the golden beams.

The two energies met—and canceled each other out without even making a sound.

Beerus narrowed his eyes.

"Are you... another God of Destruction from some other world?"

Golden sparks still flickered at the corners of Kaito's eyes. He shook his head calmly.

"There are no Gods of Destruction where I come from. I am the only god."

Before Beerus could respond, Kaito flashed forward, driving an uppercut straight into Beerus's chin.

Beerus roared, counterpunching furiously—but Kaito slipped past the strike with ease. The two locked into close combat, each exchange shaking the stars themselves. Every impact erased another planet, one after another, until nothing was left but endless darkness.

Beerus grinned, baring his fangs.

"You didn't disappoint me. But warm-ups are over—time to get serious."

He didn't power up in some flashy explosion of energy. Instead, he simply took a deep breath, his body loosening into perfect balance. Gradually, a layer of silver radiance enveloped his skin, intertwined with his signature purple glow.

There was no thunderous aura, no chaotic pressure—just stillness. Yet Kaito could feel it. The Beerus standing before him now was entirely different—something on an entirely new level.

Kaito's expression grew serious.

"So this is Ultra Instinct, huh? As expected of the strongest God of Destruction—you've even mastered that."

Beerus's eyes widened slightly.

"You know about Ultra Instinct? Don't tell me—you can use it too?"

"Don't get the wrong idea. I only know of it. But since you're going all out, I should do the same."

The silver tail coiled at Kaito's waist unfurled. Beerus blinked in surprise.

"A silver tail? What are you, some kind of Saiyan?"

Kaito chuckled.

"No relation. I simply absorbed the power of a Saiyan named Broly's Legendary Super Saiyan bloodline."

Streams of silver light flared up from Kaito's body. His smooth, long hair turned wild, two dragon-like horns sprouting from his head. Beneath his open shirt, silver fur spread across his chest, his entire body engulfed in a blazing aura of silver flame.

This—was his ultimate form.

The true Super Saiyan God.

Whis's face turned grim. Once again, he felt that terrifying divine presence—the kind that could make even an Angel's heart tremble. He gripped his staff tightly, ready to intervene at any moment.

Beerus stared, dumbfounded.

"You've gotta be kidding me… A Saiyan can reach this level?"

For the first time, Ultra Instinct didn't seem so impressive to him.

Kaito raised his hand slightly—and with nothing but his aura, sent Beerus hurtling backward.

Beerus shouted furiously, purple light blazing as countless beams of Destruction Energy erupted from his body, converging on Kaito.

Kaito's fists glowed gold as he swung them, shattering every beam with raw force. Then he surged forward, grabbed Beerus by the ankle, and hurled him across the void.

In both speed and strength, Kaito completely overpowered him. Beerus's Ultra Instinct couldn't even keep up.

Each punch Kaito threw rippled through space itself, cracks of rainbow light spreading wildly across the void. If this continued, the entire dimension would collapse.

Whis couldn't stand by any longer. Just as he was about to step in—

A plump version of Beerus suddenly appeared out of thin air, shouting,

"Beerus! What the hell are you doing again!? Can't you let a guy get some sleep for once!?"
