"From Taipei, Cat Grant reporting for GBS News that the summit between North Rhelasia and South Rhelasia has failed and therefore the leaders of both countries have agreed to include an independent mediator as a last resort for peace. Meanwhile dozens of people crowd outside the summit building waiting for the arrival of the mysterious mediator," Cat Grant commented while reporting the entire event that was taking place to avoid a war in a nation divided in two.
Red Arrow, dressed as a security guard, contacted Aqualad to send him information about Cheshire. Refusing to receive help from the team, Roy used the information to locate the assassin among the crowd. When the mediator's limousine arrived, Cheshire appeared carrying a rocket launcher, but Roy fired an arrow and managed to divert her shot. Chaos immediately broke out, so Cheshire threw herself toward her target to finish the job, however she was caught by Red Arrow and ended up being arrested by the security guards.
"Lex Luthor," Cat declared when the arbitrator revealed himself to everyone as Lex Luthor.
Roy had to raise his hands when the security guards pointed their weapons at him, considering him a threat.
"Everyone calm down, this man saved me, please lower your weapons," Luthor requested and the guards allowed Red Arrow to pass.
Inside the summit building both leaders of the Rhelasias blamed each other for hiring an assassin to kill the other; while Cat Grant and the rest of the accredited reporters continued reporting on the recent events, Roy called Lex a hypocrite for being the mediator of peace when his company had benefited from selling weapons for that war, but Luthor pointed out that the income from war was nothing compared to the millions he could make thanks to a peaceful relationship between both nations.
Mount Justice
Conner was working on his motorcycle while it seemed that the sphere was "jealous."
"We'll be at school soon, aren't you excited?" Megan commented while appearing almost bouncing with excitement.
"Wally hasn't given a very good image of his school," Conner commented calmly while cleaning his hands.
"Not everything he says can be true, the food can't be that bad," she commented, although somewhat uncertain.
Taipei Cells
"Aren't you going to ask me anything?" Cheshire spoke while stretching in her cell, the police having removed her weapons and mask, leaving only her green outfit.
"You know what I want to know," Roy declared while looking at Cheshire as she stretched.
"Why is the League trying to start a war?" he asked.
"I only accepted the contract that the League of Shadows gave me," she commented, still smiling.
"But why the war?" he asked again.
"War will never cease to exist. The reasons can always be thought of after the fact. Human nature pursues conflict... No matter how pathetic the reason is, all it takes is starting a war, whether economic, religious, for resources, for territory, for revenge, even for love, every reason is valid to start a war. Humans are fickle creatures that can start a fight with the smallest trigger," declared a voice seriously behind Roy, surprising both present as they turned around and saw Savitar sitting in the chair in front of the cell eating noodle soup.
"When did you get here?" Roy asked while looking at the new Kid Flash, now Savitar.
"Five minutes ago. You didn't notice me because you can only flirt with each other," he commented while taking a sip of his soup.
"Hello dear, how are you on this beautiful night and you're still as beautiful as ever, Cheshire," Savitar commented calmly, drawing a smile from the older girl.
"I'm sure these police officers haven't given you decent food," Savitar commented while tossing a meat burrito that Cheshire caught with a smile and bit into, enjoying her meal.
"Thank you, darling. I see you're more gentlemanly than this brute," Cheshire commented while looking at Savitar.
"Deathstroke holds you in high regard, Savitar, although I don't know why. I don't think you're that strong," she commented.
Wally only looked into Cheshire's dark eyes without revealing anything.
"Soon you'll be able to discover the difference between you and me, darling," Savitar commented calmly.
"Roy, move back now," Savitar ordered.
Roy only looked at him until he saw Cheshire take cover, and Roy jumped when the wall of the cell on Cheshire's side exploded.
"Time to leave," Sportmaster declared while picking up Cheshire as they left the police station through a helicopter.
"Well, it seems the problems have increased," Wally commented calmly while watching the father and daughter's escape.
"Wasn't that Deathstroke's prey?" Sportmaster asked curiously.
"It seems so. We'll see if he's as good as they say," Cheshire commented.
"Although you got into my job," she commented while looking at Sportmaster.
"You wouldn't have a job if it weren't for me. Grow up already," Sportmaster declared.
"This afternoon's mission was to create hostility between those two peaceful nations, not among my assassins," Ra's al Ghul commented.
Cheshire knelt while Sportmaster remained standing.
"The failure of your mission has disappointed me," he commented calmly.
"Luthor has been a thorn in my side for too long. Peaceful nations do not resort to the League. Fix this," he ordered.
"And you two take care of that boy," commented the leader of the League of Shadows while turning to connect his gaze with Red Arrow, who cursed.
Cheshire and Sportmaster prepared themselves.
"It is a pleasure to meet Deathstroke's prey," Ra's commented while turning to look at a dark column.
"You noticed me!" Savitar declared.
"How terrifying!" he dragged out the words with his bored tone while looking at Ra's, who remained calm.
"So this time the reason is economic," he commented distractedly while looking at Ra's. He knew the man was currently the greatest martial artist in the world. Savitar didn't know how long it would last, but in the end—
"Die standing or die on your knees," he declared while removing his weights and drawing his trusted blades.
"I hope there truly is power backing your airs of grandeur," Ra's commented while more League soldiers appeared.
"You are simply a coward who creates slaves to do the dirty work for you," he declared seriously while remaining calm as Roy covered him from above.
Savitar smiled beneath his mask while crossing his blades in his classic cross as lightning began to cover his body.
"It seems I'll have to purify these sinners," he commented calmly.
Fifteen shadow agents jumped at Savitar, who dodged the slash of a sword while cutting his attacker's chest, then allowed two shuriken to pass through his body while striking his opponent's face with his right fist, destroying the opponent's face.
Savitar cut chests, destroyed faces, broke legs leaving them in unnatural directions. In less than five seconds all fifteen agents were on the ground bleeding from their wounds.
"The level gets lower every time," Savitar commented while walking without any hurry, stepping over one of the agents and causing bones to crack beneath his weight.
"Who's next?" he asked in his bored tone.
He allowed Sportmaster's disc to pass through him without causing damage. It seemed he had finished off Red Arrow.
(Disappointing.)
He thought as he noticed Roy could not hold out against Cheshire and Sportmaster.
Savitar launched a left kick at Sportmaster's face, who tried to block with his right arm but was surprised when the kick passed through his arm without causing damage and connected with his face, destroying his mask.
"You can't touch me, but I can touch you," he continued speaking in his bored tone.
"Deathstroke isn't here. We have a score to settle," he commented while dodging Cheshire's slash. He ducked, moved to the right calmly. To him everything moved in slow motion.
Savitar noticed that Red Arrow was disarmed and tired from the beating he had received.
"They damaged him a lot. When I gave him to you he was in good condition," he commented calmly while breaking through Cheshire's defense and connecting the sole of his right foot with Cheshire's abdomen, driving the air from her lungs and causing her to fall gasping for air.
"We're withdrawing, Red Arrow," Savitar commented.
"We're running away," Roy growled angrily because of the loss.
"No, we're not running away, we're withdrawing. Running away causes chaos, withdrawing is strategy," Savitar commented while throwing several explosive batarangs to make their retreat easier.
"Be careful, Red Arrow. Don't get overconfident," Savitar commented from his waiting position. Roy was on the opposite side.
"You don't need to repeat it. I don't need your team's help," Roy commented.
"As if I cared about your feelings, traitor. I was assigned to this mission," Savitar commented calmly.
"I don't need your help," Red Arrow declared through gritted teeth.
"Yes, but nobody trusts you to control your emotions to complete the mission, and target located," he declared while preparing himself.
Roy looked and found Cheshire approaching the table of the ambassadors and Luthor.
The summit wall exploded, alarming reporters, security guards, and representatives as Sportmaster, Cheshire, and nearly thirty members of the League of Shadows appeared and attacked those present.
"Protect the ambassadors," Savitar declared while picking up reporters and the rest of the civilians who were in the area close to the conflict that was developing.
Roy faced Cheshire again to defend the ambassadors.
"Very well," Savitar commented while drawing his blades and forming his cross-shaped salute.
"It is time to be purified."
He removed his weights.
Two seconds.
That was the time needed to cut down the thirty opponents of the League of Shadows.
"Good. Without the trash, it's time for the main course," he commented seriously while watching Roy argue with Sportmaster.
"Well, I won't stay for this. The contract is cancelled," Sportmaster commented before leaving, followed by Cheshire.
"It seems Deathstroke wasn't lying about you. I hope we meet again, darling," Cheshire commented before escaping.
"What did Sportmaster tell you?" Savitar asked Roy.
"Nothing important," he replied.
"You're a terrible liar," Savitar commented while leaving, leaving Roy silent as he simply watched him depart.
"That wasn't an exaggeration. That's quite a prey that orange fool is chasing," Sportmaster commented.
"And I approve," he commented out of nowhere.
"I don't know what you're talking about, old man," Cheshire commented.
"I prefer that runner over that fool with the bow," Sportmaster commented calmly.
"Stronger descendant," he commented as if it were nothing, as if he had said something very wise.
Cheshire simply ignored him while shaking her head at Sportmaster's nonsense.
