"Yeah, it seems he's still very angry about my last dispute with him," he commented calmly as he let the employee drop to the ground.
"You can send the police and a few ambulances to my location," he requested calmly and bored.
"By the way," he suddenly said, drawing attention.
"There's a new psychologist for the penitentiary inmates. It's strange that they would replace one right when things are heating up and need more ice," he commented calmly.
Batman nodded.
"I understand. We'll keep an eye on that detail. Stay available in case of any recent conflict nearby," he commented, and Savitar laughed.
"I'm always close to everywhere," he commented while kicking one of Penguin's employees to stop him from reaching his weapon. "I'll wait until the police arrive. These guys get back up very quickly."
"Be careful," Batman commented.
"Loud and clear," he said goodbye with a military salute.
Batman ended the call while thinking about Kid Flash's words. He knew nothing about a new prison psychologist, but it seemed Kid Flash had good sources.
"Does anyone object to continuing with the plan of sending Superboy and Miss Martian undercover?" Batman asked, looking around.
Nobody said anything.
Batman nodded and dismissed everyone. Some stood up and left, except Batman, Flash, Superman, and Wonder Woman.
"What are you doing with my protégé?" Flash asked calmly while looking at the Dark Knight, who remained silent and stoic before the question of the Fastest Man Alive.
"I'm not doing anything with him," he commented calmly.
"If you say so," Flash replied before standing up and leaving the meeting room.
"He's worried about his protégé, that's all," Wonder Woman commented.
"This job is dangerous," the Dark Knight commented calmly without turning around.
"Don't you think he's taking it too far?" Superman commented.
"As far as I know, the rule is not to kill, and it isn't written down and nobody signed it," the Dark Knight commented calmly.
"Though I don't expect him to take it too far. His methods are still within acceptable parameters," he added seriously.
Mount Justice – September 23
"Be careful," Kid Flash commented in his yellow suit while looking at Miss Martian and Superboy, who nodded.
"Don't try to make friends. Those things aren't human. Treat them like the inferior beings they are," he declared seriously.
"Relax, Wally. Don't scare them any more. Their mission isn't to go to war, it's to prevent one," Robin commented beside his friend.
"Nothing comes easy," Kid Flash commented.
"If you need help," he said while drawing his right blade and licking the edge of it with his tongue while smiling, "you can call me to the party," he said with a crazy grin.
Robin smacked him on the head.
"Don't scare them, asshole," Robin scolded his friend.
Wally shrugged.
"Whatever you say."
He walked away toward the kitchen.
"Be careful," Robin told Megan and Conner, who nodded before leaving with Manhunter and Black Canary.
Mount Justice – September 25
"Have you found anything about the new psychologist?" Wally asked his friend.
"So far everything is clean. Too clean," Robin commented.
"When something is too clean..." Wally commented.
"It's because someone worked hard to make sure nobody found the dirt," Robin finished while continuing his investigation.
"I found it. This psychologist seems very connected to Bee Queen's operations," Robin commented seriously.
"Psimon," Kid Flash growled, remembering the bastard who erased his memories.
"He appears to be one hundred percent human. No powers. But he's very connected to metahumans," Robin commented seriously.
"Interesting," Wally murmured calmly.
"How much are you thinking? Come on, tell me," Robin asked.
"It's true that the question of why the four ice cubes requested the same prison is strange. But all four at the same time? They didn't even try to spread it out over time. It was direct, and nobody suspected anything. You know Amanda Waller created that place," Wally commented calmly.
"The woman who used to be Captain Atom's boss," Robin replied.
"Yeah. That woman isn't stupid. Obviously she has to suspect something," Wally murmured while thinking.
He couldn't afford to leave loose ends.
"Tell me, do you know about what they call the Suicide Squad?" he asked his friend.
"Batman talked about it once. Amanda places miniature bombs in the necks of prisoners with superpowers or dangerous individuals like Deadshot, Harley, Killer Frost, King Shark, Captain Boomerang, Black Panther. Through forced missions they manage to reduce their sentences," Robin commented.
"Yeah. According to rumors she uses them for her own purposes and to remind the League that the government has its own weapons," Wally commented seriously.
"You're telling me the President approves of that?" Robin asked seriously.
"Most likely. The current President cares a lot about his popularity," Wally commented seriously.
"Luckily they can't get their hands on Black Adam. That would be dangerous," Wally commented seriously.
"Damn politics," Robin growled.
Wally laughed.
"Politics will always be shit, my friend. That's why I always say we're fighting on two fronts, and we're losing on the political one," he commented calmly.
"So they did well," Wally commented when his two teammates returned to the Cave after preventing a massive prison breakout.
"There's something different about them," Robin commented while observing the interaction between the two members of his team.
"They seem closer," Wonder Boy murmured.
Wally chuckled.
"What you're seeing is the interaction between two opposite genders," he commented calmly with a smile while observing Megan and Conner.
"Are they dating?" Robin asked, somewhat surprised.
"It seems the mission brought them together more than I thought," he commented with a smile.
"I wonder if they'll last, or if they're like ice in summer, slowly melting away until they disappear," Wally commented curiously.
"Stop doing that," Robin commented.
"Doing what?" he asked his friend.
"Trying to predict whether a couple will break up or not. Nobody likes that," Robin commented while walking deeper into the Cave.
"It's fun to know, that's all," he commented calmly.
