League Two Matchday 33: Bournemouth vs. Crawley Town
The FA Cup quarter-final against West Ham United was still a few weeks away, but Crawley could not afford to think about it yet. Their win over Burnley had given the squad plenty of confidence, and they were now sitting fourth in League Two.
The next job was Bournemouth away.
The team left Crawley early on Sunday morning for the trip to Dean Court. The journey would take around four hours, and most of the players were quiet as the bus made its way through the cold March weather.
Max Simons sat by the window, looking out at the fields as they passed. He had scored twice against Morecambe recently and was hoping to continue his good form.
Thiago had his headphones on and was listening to music. Nate looked across at him.
"Save that rhythm for their defence, Thiago."
Thiago laughed.
"I dance, they fall!"
A few of the players laughed with him.
