The corridor leading to Igma's room smells exactly like her. There's no mistaking that this whole space belongs to her. Her scent clings to the walls, like a voiceless territorial warning.Ā
I pause when I get to her door and look down at my dress. It's the brown one she noticed I like, and I even wore the earrings she gifted me.Ā
Will she notice? Will it be too obvious that I'm trying to impress her?
