Chapter 126 - Chapter 126: Unwanted Problems

The Konoha Senju sailed smoothly all the way, and half a month later they arrived at the port of Kano.

Ships of every kind were docked in the harbor, and to their surprise, pirate ships were moored right alongside navy vessels.

Since Arima's ship wasn't flying a Jolly Roger, it was treated as a merchant vessel and charged the standard docking fee.

Arima left a wooden clone aboard and then disembarked with his family.

This was the first island they had set foot on. Unfamiliar with the customs of this world, everyone's attention was quickly drawn to the strange sights before them.

They saw pirates carrying broadswords and spears, striding past the navy without a care. It was an odd sight indeed. Here in Kano, pirates and the navy actually coexisted peacefully.

Kushina asked in puzzlement, "Arima, why don't the navy arrest those wandering pirates?"

Theo, following behind them, eagerly explained, "Miss Kushina, you may not know this, but Kano is originally a nation of pirates, and it's also a member of the World Government.

The 12th leader of the Happo Navy, Chinjao, is immensely powerful. It's said that at his peak, his bounty reached as high as 500 million Berries."

Arima asked curiously, "What about Shanks' bounty then?"

At once, Theo's face lit up with admiration as he exclaimed, "Shanks is one of the Four Emperors! His bounty is terrifyingly high.

If I remember right, in the latest notice, his bounty was already close to 4 billion Berries!"

At that, Nawaki chimed in, grinning, "I wonder what brother-in-law's bounty will be in the future!"

Natsuka added calmly, "Arima-nii's bounty will definitely be high! Let's set a small target, say, 10 billion Berries for starters!"

Arima flicked both of them on the head irritably. "I'm not going to be a pirate, why would I have a bounty?"

Amid the laughter, they arrived before the largest tavern in town.

It was nearly noon now, the sun blazing overhead. Everyone was famished and eager to find a quiet place to rest.

In the afternoon, they still needed to visit nearby shops to purchase all sorts of daily necessities.

But the moment Arima led them into the tavern, he noticed something was off.

Inside, two groups were in a heated standoff, while a large crowd gathered to watch.

Arima found a quiet corner for his family, then called a waiter over to order food. In conversation with the waiter, they learned who the two factions were.

On one side were subordinates of the Happo Navy, led by a middle-aged man named Sai, the designated successor to become the 13th leader.

The other side were members of the Niho Navy. The burly, rough-looking woman at their head was Chichilisia' daughter, Uholisia, who had only recently announced her engagement to Sai.

Nawaki had just taken a sip of water. Hearing this, he choked badly, coughing and sputtering.

Pointing at the woman with trembling fingers, he asked, "That's a woman? She really looks…"

For a moment, he was utterly speechless, silently mourning for poor Sai.

Arima, however, didn't seem bothered.

He said to Nawaki, "It's probably a political marriage! Besides, the physique of the natives in this pirate world is naturally tough. If their looks are a bit rough, that's normal."

At that moment, Sai shouted angrily, "Uholisia, we're only engaged! Why do you have to follow me around every day? Do you think my sword isn't sharp enough?"

Uholisia wasn't the least bit offended. Instead, she grinned broadly, her voice loud and hoarse as she replied.

"I just love your manly spirit! If you don't like it, then go ahead and try cutting me with that sword of yours!"

Sai was helpless. "I'm about to set sail. Do I really have to drag a whole family along with me?"

Uholisia pointed her chin toward Arima's table and said, "Look over there, a whole family traveling together! They even brought a baby, so cute! When we have kids, they'll be incredible too…"

Once she started talking, she couldn't stop, enthusiastically describing her dreams of their future life.

Sai turned his head toward Arima's group, snarling, "Get out of here!"

They had only just sat down, the seats weren't even warm yet. How could they leave so easily?

Still, Arima pitied Sai for his miserable lot in life and had no desire to quarrel. Eating came first.

But when Sai saw his words ignored, fury erupted in him. With a growl, he hefted his massive sword and strode straight to Arima's table, glaring down as he barked, "I said get out! Didn't you hear me?"

His younger brother, Boo, quickly tried to calm him down. "Big brother, they're just here to eat. Please, take it easy!"

Originally, Arima and his family had planned to eat quietly, then go shopping.

But clearly, this meal wouldn't be peaceful. They didn't want trouble, but if trouble came knocking, how could they just run away with their tails between their legs?

Arima remained seated, still as a mountain, not even lifting his head.

That was the final straw for Sai. At once, Uholisia fanned the flames, mocking, "Sai, your reputation's already terrible. Is this the best the Happo Navy can do? If it were our Niho Navy…"

Before she could finish, Sai raised his sword high and swung it down toward Arima's group.

Arima hadn't cared when Sai insulted him. But to raise a weapon against his family, that was absolutely intolerable.

With a single motion, Arima pressed his index finger, clad in Armament Haki, against the descending blade, stopping it effortlessly.

He said flatly, "Still want to fight?"

The moment the words left his lips, a torrent of Conqueror's Haki burst from him, sweeping through the tavern and slamming into both the Happo and Niho Navy crews.

By now, Arima had mastered his Conqueror's Haki, able to strike precisely at his targets without harming innocents.

In an instant, both groups collapsed into unconsciousness, falling heavily to the floor. Sai and Uholisia, struck even harder, foamed at the mouth.

Everyone present understood then, this man was terrifyingly powerful. Sai and his people had just run headfirst into a steel wall.

Arima led his family out of the tavern. He wasn't afraid of making enemies, but their ship's supplies were already running low.

If they didn't stock up now, when enemies came looking for them later, how would they have time to buy provisions?

Since things had already reached this point, Arima decided he might as well seize the chance to make "Konoha's" name known openly.

As Arima and his family went about shopping, news of the Happo and Niho Navy crews being struck down spread swiftly, reaching Chinjao's ears.

Upon hearing it, Chinjao erupted in fury, murderous aura flaring.

He roared, "They dared attack us in our own home! When has the Happo Navy ever suffered such humiliation? Men, come with me! We'll see what those bastards are made of!"

Meanwhile, the leader of the Niho Navy also heard his daughter had been assaulted. Enraged, he too stormed off, leading his men toward the place where Arima's ship was docked.
