"Thank you for that Progenitor, as for my hair, I think it's because of Adam's pureblood. To save Stacey's life, I had to drink some." Rowena replied.
"Really?" Vlad replied in surprise before looking at Adam curiously and saying, "This never happened in the past when my child drank the pureblood. I wonder why his blood is affecting you this way."
"My blood did that?" Adam asked in surprise before adding, "I thought Stacey's hair only changed colour because she was becoming more Brood. Why is yours changing and to what looks like white?"
"I have no idea, this has never happened to any Brood before as far as I'm aware," Rowena replied while shaking her head as she looked at Vlad and asked, "Progenitor?"
"I have also never seen this reaction before. Brood are famous for their blood-red hair after all."
"Says the guy with black hair," Celeste commented.
"I'm different," Vlad replied before studying Adam again and saying, "I suppose it's possible that Adma's pureblood may be more potent than the Terran's back then, though I have no way of knowing why this would be, nor have any way of testing whether this hypothesis is correct."
"Are you addicted?" Vlad asked as he turned to look at Rowena, who nodded in reply.
Vlad sighed before saying, "I see. Then you may have to consider turning him, that is, if you don't want to go mad."
"Don't I get a say in this?" Adam asked with a frown.
"You don't want to become immortal?" Vlad asked in surprise.
"As I told Rowena previously, it is not something I ever considered since I never believed it to be possible."
"Well, it's possible now and you're also responsible for providing Rowena with blood just like little Stacey," Vlad replied.
"Whether I am or not does not concern you," Adam retorted before saying in a voice that caused Rowena and Celeste's instincts to flare, "Besides, you have more important things to worry about."
"Such as?" Vlad asked with surprise as he felt the clear hostility coming from Adam and to his even greater surprise was the fact that his own instincts were telling him that this boy, who wasn't even twenty, could be a threat to his life. True, it wasn't a very big threat since, unlike Rowena and Celeste's, Vlad's instincts only prickled slightly, but it was still a threat, something only a small minority of individuals in the universe could do.
"You need to clean up your house, or I will do it for you," Adam replied.
"Excuse me?" Vlad replied.

"You forgot Amalia," Celeste stated helpfully.
"I didn't," Adam replied before explaining, "While she is complicit in the cover-up since she didn't speak on the subject even when she knew Stacey's attackers. She was smart enough to walk away and not be directly involved. Because of that, I won't ask for her life."
"Life? I take it those three are the ones responsible for Stacey's attack?" Vlad asked while looking at Rowena, who nodded and explained everything they saw up until Stacey collapsed and lost consciousness.
"I see," Vlad replied before turning back to Adam and asking, "And you want their lives?"
"That's correct," Adam declared simply.
"That is something you will have to take up with Asema Nosferatu. I will not get involved in my children's affairs unless many of them start to die," Vlad replied.
"Are you sure you want me to take it up with him personally?" Adam asked.
"Excuse me?" Vlad asked in confusion.
"When I take things up with people personally, they tend to get killed, in fact, the last couple of times this has happened, they have been killed with planetary annihilation weapons," Adam replied, causing Rowena, Celeste and Vlad's eyes to widen as they understood the underlying meaning of his words.

"No offence, Adam, but I don't think you would have the chance to use your mech's planetary annihilation beam. It takes too long to charge up and fire, plus your mech is still being repaired, right?" Rowena asked, causing Celeste to breathe a sigh of relief.
"I never said I would use the planetary annihilation beam," Adam replied.
"You have more than one planetary annihilation weapon?" Rowena asked in shock, causing Celeste to go wide-eyed and Vlad's eyebrow to twitch.

"I never threatened to use anything; I just informed Vlad here about what happened to the last couple of individuals I went up against," Adam replied.
"That's practically the same thing," Celeste retorted.
"Whatever," Adam replied dismissively as if using a planetary annihilation weapon was nothing big before adding, "It's up to Vlad here if he wants me to go speak with Asema Nosferatu or if he would rather do it himself."
Vlad sighed before raising a hand in a peaceful gesture and saying, "Alright, alright. I honestly don't know how truthful your claim about having more planetary annihilation weapons is, but considering you have a mech capable of firing a planetary annihilation beam, which shouldn't be possible, I would rather not find out.
I will speak with Asema Nosferatu, but only in eighteen years, that is, unless you want me to reveal to him that you're capable of time travel?"
"Acceptable," Adam replied.
"Good," Vlad replied before adding, "However, that is as far as I will go; it is his choice whether to cooperate or not."
As he finished speaking, Vlad's eyes narrowed before saying dangerously, "Should things turn violent, however and it leads to the many deaths of my children, I will not show kindness to either of you."

"Noted," Adam replied as he stared back at Vlad while his tail flicked around dangerously.
Both men held the stare for several moments before Adam turned and said, "We're done here."
As he finished speaking, he activated his anti-grvity armour, causing the wings to appear, much to Vlad's surprise, before he flew off into the air.
"How can an anti-gravity armour have wings?" Vlad remarked as he watched Adam fly away.
"That's only one of the mysteries surrounding him," Rowena replied before saying with obvious less respect than before, "Progenitor." After which, she also took to the air and followed Adam.
"Huh, seems like you lost some of the respect Rowena has for you with your decision not to do anything with the matter regarding Stacey. I hope you don't come to regret it," Celeste remarked before she turned and ran at a speed which surprised many of the viewers after Adam and Rowena.
"So it seems," Vlad replied with a sigh as he watched them go before he vanished.
