It had been an hour since all of them had jumped on him and he had to comfort crying werewolves and even Irene who he had viewed as a very emotionally mature woman was crying as well.
The same was Ravik and his son… It was quite an experience. The werewolf children had clung to his legs. The adults had formed a circle around him like he might disappear again and Marty had been yelping like he was a pup.
Right now, he was in a guest bedroom of the lord's mansion since their own was unusable at the moment and Selene was clinging to him like her life depended on it.
Her arms wrapped around his torso with her face pressed against his chest. She hadn't let go once since the crowd dispersed.
Her breathing had finally evened out though, the panicked gasps from earlier settled into calmer breathing.
He couldn't blame her though.
