Rafe drove me to Valemonte Industries, a company Kael's father had founded, and now Kael had made it even more successful than it already was. He was truly a perfect man in every way.
But I can't take away the credit from others, like Roman, who always worked for it like it was his everything.
And then the other three handled different responsibilities of the pack so that Kael and Roman could focus better on company work.
Then I glanced at Rafe behind the wheel, whose attention was on the road. I can't take away his credit for handling tech matters in the company. This idler wasn't really an idler, though he showed himself to be one, acting all cool with the behavior that said he didn't give a damn about a thing.
To think about it, this bloodsucker was charming in his own way. Only if he annoyed me a little less.
"How long are you going to stare at me?" he said, without even looking at me.
