Kaima: "So it changes straight from Sphere Mode… into a 4000 Attack Ra!?"
Once Ra sheds the egg-like form, Sphere Mode's effect grants The Winged Dragon of Ra—whose original attack is ?—a full 4000 Attack Points.
However, even with 4000, enough to overpower most monsters, Ra still fell short of the fused Three-Headed White Dragon, Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon, whose Attack stood at 4500.
Kaiba thrust his fist toward the heavens. "Even if you call upon the Sun God that illuminated ancient Egypt, the ultimate White Dragon soul isn't so easily surpassed!"
"I know that, Kaiba! A battle carrying three thousand years of fate, one must wager their entire soul as a Duelist to tear open a path in this final clash!"
Standing upon the scorching desert, engulfed in divine flame, Miles raised his Duel Disk bearing The Winged Dragon of Ra.
"Take all my Life Points—my entire soul! Burn until you surpass the ultimate limit! I activate The Winged Dragon of Ra's effect!"

For the first time, Miles connected his own soul—not Aisha's body—to Ra, entering full God-link synchronization.

Dark Aisha and little Kaima froze, mouths slightly open, cheeks flushed red.

"Y-Yes… I mean… it's…" Kaima stammered, her face growing redder.
Kisara gasped: "He used nearly all of his Life Points as the cost to push Ra beyond the power of the Alternative Ultimate Dragon!"
In this realm closest to the underworld, the God's battle waged by Miles stirred even the slumbering earth, shaking the sands around the damaged Zeus war machine as debris began to fall away.
"Since I paid 999 Life Points—Ra's Attack rises by 999!"

Miles had bet everything. Using the Sun God's divine strike to surpass Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon.

Even though she wished for Kaiba to break the chains of three millennia and face forward—seeing him overwhelmed by a God and driven into a kill range by Dark Magician's forces made Kisara tremble with worry.
"It's over, Kaiba!"
Miles declared his next attack—the Pharaoh's ace monster, the eternal rival of Blue-Eyes.
"Take this! Dark Magic Attack!!"
"Dark Magician!" Kaiba roared back through gritted teeth.
He struggled upright, the scorched desert swirling around him, facing down the charging Dark Magician.
The God Card and Dark Magician: together they embodied Kaiba's lifelong fate as a Duelist.
"Three thousand years of obsession… I!! WILL NOT LOSE HERE, MILES! YUGI!!"
Half-rising, Kaiba thrust his arm forward—the AR Duel Disk flaring blue as he flipped his face-down card.
"I activate the Trap Card—Counter Gate!"

Kaiba slammed his palm onto the ancient Egyptian sands imbued with divine will.
"Fate gathered here, guide me to the will of the strongest God sleeping beneath this land! DRAW!!"
He ripped the card from his Deck—the AR light surging into it, dyeing the card face the deep blue of the God of Destruction.

As if destined—here, in this realm closest to the underworld—Seto Kaiba once again called forth the will of Obelisk, buried deep within the earth.
