After the meal at Miss Maya's home, Usopp went to his house to think about the offer Ace made him. It was always his goal to become a pirate because he wanted to be a brave warrior of the sea. Still, he never planned on doing that so soon. He met a few pirates who seemed extremely different from the rest, and the captain of the crew kept telling him he wanted him to join the crew. He was wondering what he should do.
Meanwhile, the Spade pirates spoke with Miss Maya and thanked her for giving them the Going Merry.
"Thanks again, Miss Maya, for giving us this Ship. I know you gave it to us against Merry's better judgment."
"You're welcome, even though you're pirates, you guys are extremely nice people."
"Well, in exchange for giving us the ship, I'll tell you a secret."
"What secret is that?"
Ace pulled out a wanted bounty poster from his pocket and handed it to Miss Maya. The wanted poster had "dead-or-alive" on it, the amount was 16 million berries, and the name on it was Kuro. That's right, Ace decided to tell them about him, just in case he came to Syrup Village.
"This man is Captain Kuro, he is the current captain of the black cat pirates, and you should keep this wanted poster so you can remember his face."
"Why should I do that?"
"I have a special ability sometimes when I sleep I'm able to glimpse at a possible future that might happen the reason I'm telling this is because in one of those futures i saw Captain Kuro posing as a man named Klahadore in front of your door pretending to be starving and your husband letting him live in your house and he eventually becomes the butler with Merry the reason he did that was to kill you and your family to take your wealth."
"No, I don't believe something like that will happen in the future?"
"Well, I don't know if it's bound to happen, but be careful if there's ever a man named Klahadore that comes to your door. He is a pirate looking to kill you and your family for your wealth. I gave you the wanted poster so you can confirm the person."
Surprised by what Ace said, Zoro and Alvida walk closer to Ace, and Zoro said
"Hey Ace, is it true that you can see into the future? Is that why you knew exactly where the devil fruit was?"
"Something like that, but I can't see into the future. I was able to glimpse, at random, one of the millions of possible futures a few days ago. I dreamt of the one I was just telling Miss Maya about."
"I don't believe that this must be extremely rare. I have never heard of something like that ever being possible."
"Yeah, it's extremely rare; in fact, there's only one other person I know who has a more powerful version of it."
"A woman in the grand line named Madam Shyarly has a crystal ball, and with that, she's able to predict things that haven't happened yet. Enough about Shyarly right now, Miss Maya, be sure to warn Merry and your husband once he comes back, and be sure to put this wanted poster in a place you can see it so you don't forget what he looks like,e and if all else fails, tell him if you are harmed by him hell answer to the Spade Pirates."
"Thanks, Captain Ace, I'm extremely grateful to you."
"Wow, never would I think that Ace would be able to see the future."
"I told you I can't see the future, I'm able to see one out of millions of possible futures, and even that is not clear enough. Have you guys seen Usopp around?"
"After we came out of the house, Usopp went a different way. I think your recruiting pitch got him thinking, so he probably went to a quiet place to consider your offer. Besides, it's not often a pirate comes to your village and recruits you to become a pirate."
"Very well, we will be leaving tomorrow. I suppose I can give him until then to decide whether he will join us or not."
