Lyanna
My heart is pounding in my ears as his nose brushes against mine. His thumb gently caresses my cheek, rubbing it in circles.
Is this it? The moment he finally kisses me?
"Lyanna I–" he heaves, his eyes gleaming.
"Yes?" My breath catches in my throat, but somehow I'm able to force the words out of my mouth.
"I know I've been horrible to you, and.. I just.." he hesitates, his pupils shrinking a little, then they go back to their normal size.
"I'm a horrible person, and you're not supposed to be with someone like me. I just.. I.. I'm not supposed to take out my bitterness on you, it's none of your fault..tch, I'm just horrible, there's no explanation for that."
"I'm sorry, I really am. I would have rejected you all those months ago, but Lucas wouldn't. If he can't, then I can. I think it's safe to say.. a part of me doesn't want to let you go."
My heart tingles, my stomach bursting with a party of butterflies.
