We get some more Wukong and Miwa time. :3
Also more random flashbacks. >:3
__________________________________________________________
*Two days later, somewhere in Flower Fruit Mountain, Mk and Miwa is training with the Monkey King.*
Miwa raised her staff, trying to hit Wukong, but he easily countered it by changing the direction of her attack and had her hit Mk instead.
"Ow!" Mk rubbed his head from being hit by Miwa's staff before getting back up.
Miwa narrowed her eyes angrily at Wukong who gave her a smug grin, which only made her more mad. "Stupid old baboon."
Mk and Miwa tried going for another attack, this time together. But Wukong dodges both of their attacks until he uses his tail to wrap around Mk's leg, throwing him out to the inside of Flower Fruit Mountain. And grabbing a hold on one of Miwa's tails, throwing her right after Mk. "Better. Way, way better." He catches Mk and Miwa. You're totally getting the hang of this, bud! You too, Freckles!"
"Aw really?" said Mk with a big smile.
"Jeez thanks, I feel so loved here. Not like I've been thrown around like a ragdoll, for the last hour or so." said Miwa sarcastically, while patting some dust and dirt off herself. "At least he isn't treating me differently when training around Mk, now that I've gotten some of my memories back."
"I mean, it does make sense. You are getting trained by me. Now, we just gotta work on your focus, and Peaches's temper." said Wukong as he was patting Miwa's head.
"I'm sorry, my temper?" Miwa glared at him, with her left eye slightly twitching in annoyance.
"Yeah, I am the best of focus— What do you mean, "work on my focus?!" I-I'm like No. 1 Focus Guy!" Mk exclaimed looking over at both of them.
Miwa and Wukong shared the same disbelieved look as they were staring at him. "Sorry Mk, but you are the last person I would see as being focused." said Miwa, using her tails to slap Wukong's hand away from her head.
Wukong ever so slightly rubbed his slapped hand. "Ugh, if anyone is No. 1 Focus Guy, it's me."
"What?!" Mk pulls out his book. "Literally, your entire legacy is about you being impulsive and dodging responsibilities!"
"Makes me start questioning your parenting skills." Miwa mumbled to herself, only to get hit in the head by Wukong's tail as payback from slapping his hand.
Wukong goes on to grab a bag of peach chips. "That's where you are wrong."
"The time that you ate all the Immortal Peaches that you were meant to guard?" Mk pointed out.
"That was a long time ago." said Wukong, eating a chip.
"When you kept annoying everyone at the Celestial Realm?" Miwa pointed out as she crossed her arms, glaring at him with a raised eyebrow.
"That's a matter of opinion." said Wukong, giving a slight shrug.
"The time you pick a fight with Buddha—" Mk went on to mention but got cut off when Wukong shoves a peach chip up his mouth.
"See, that right there is the problem. You stressed too much about the negatives. Focus is taking in everything, but honing in only on the one thing that matters. Right now, I'm talking to you while also honing in on the speed of the wind, the moisture in the air, these 37 emails for my lawyer, the first 18 seasons of Monkey King: The Animated Series. The inner resonance of my soul that contemplate the fact that I am an immortal being, who will never be able to die. And that bug right over there. Along with Freckles's temper slowly rising from the faint cosmic energy coming from her. But..." Wukong eats another Peach Chip. "I'm paying attention to you. Take in everything, choose what you want to do, and then do it. That is focus."
"When did you fucking get a lawyer and how?" Miwa questioned, only to get hit in the head again.
"I told you, no swearing." Wukong pointed at her with a raised eyebrow, daring her to say another swear word.
"That sounds... super confusing, and like you're just constantly distracted." said Mk though found it more confusing in how those two were acting.
"Or maybe, you just can't handle real focus?" said Wukong in a challenging tone.
Mk let out a gasp. "I-I can totally focus. I focus all the time! In fact, the very next thing I do, is gonna be the most focused thing ever!"
"Don't you have work today, Mk?" Miwa had gone on to check her phone and showed him the time.
"Oh by the Buddha! You're right! Pigsy is gonna kill me!" said Mk and quickly rushed out of the cave.
"Well, guess I should get going too." Miwa started turning around to leave, but stopped when she felt a hand on her shoulder.
"Actually, I had planned for us to do some more training." said Wukong, having her turn back around.
"More training, but we've already trained for hours, and I already have other plans for the day." Miwa crossed her arms slightly annoyed. "Macaque was supposed to help with my shadow training today, if I don't show up on time. He is gonna make the rest of my training a nightmare."
"Don't you wanna spend some good time with your dad today? Just the two of us, we haven't had time to hang out for days after you got your memories back." Wukong had a bit of a sad look on his face.
Miwa turned her attention to him and towards the entrance of the cave a few times, thinking it over for a bit. "What kind of training did you have in mind?"
A bright smile grew on Wukong's face when hearing her question, clearly she had changed her mind. "I'll tell you what it is, but not here." He summoned his cloud and picked up Miwa and got on the cloud.
"What! Where are we going?" Miwa questioned, now very confused as they flew away from flower fruit mountain and headed somewhere else.
"You'll see, for now just enjoy the ride." said Wukong smiling at her and picking up speed.
Miwa was still curious about what he had in mind, but smiled and started laughing when he picked up the speed. "How fast can this even go!"
Wukong chuckled at how cheerful she was on the ride. "Pretty fast, so you better hold on tight!"
Miwa let out a scream and quickly grabbed onto Wukong so she wouldn't fall off. Laughing out loud by how fast they were now going, just enjoying the ride.
After flying for a bit they finally arrived at their destination, which was some random temple with a few monkey statues at the front of the place.
"That was fun." said Miwa getting off the cloud with a smile, she then went on with taking a look at the place.
"Happy you liked the ride, Sunny. You always loved it when I took you on a ride." said Wukong walking right after her.
"So what is this place?" Miwa looked over at him, confused about where they were.
Wukong rubbed the back of his neck, giving an awkward smile. "Well you see, this is my shame temple."
"Your shame temple?" Miwa tilted her head to the side with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah, some people that worshiped me, decided to make a temple in my honor. While it was a nice gesture, it's a little too much for my liking." Wukong explained, still feeling a bit awkward about it.
"Knowing your history, I didn't think anyone would be worshipping you." said Miwa only to fall over by Wukong using his tail to trip her.
"Anyway, we are not here to talk about my shame temple. We are here to train." Wukong led them to an open space with a few trees, and fruits hanging from them.
Miwa rubbed her back getting up, pouting a little while following right behind him. "And what kind of training did you have in mind, dad, for us to go here?"
Wukong turned around and gently poke her forehead. "Just like the kid, you also need to train your focus. But a different kind."
Miwa gave him a questionable look. "What makes this different to Mk's training in focus?"
Wukong pulled on his hair and created two pillows, placing them on the ground for them to sit on. "Your focus training is for you to get back the rest of your memories. And for that you need to focus on what part of those memories you need to remember."
"But whenever I try doing that, I get a serious headache that takes a good minute or two to go away." Miwa sat down on the pillow that was placed across from Wukong.
"That's why I'm here, Freckles, you just need to trust me." Wukong gave her a gentle smile, patting her head.
Miwa felt a little relaxed, he was here with her. But she still felt a bit uneasy about it. "I've gotta be honest dad, I'm scared of going through my memories. What if....what if I react the same way as last time, when I got some of the memories about you back."
"If something like that should happen, I'll be right here with you. If it becomes too much I'll step in." Wukong kept smiling at her, not a hint of doubt on his face.
"Okay dad, I trust you." Miwa returned a small smile, her tails slightly wrapping around his tail for comfort. Before closing her eyes and trying to focus on her memories.
Miwa tried digging deep into some of the memories that was still holes in, hoping to find something. And after a bit she started feeling a headache coming from the slightly painful look on her face, but she didn't fight against it this time.
*Flashback.*

"As ____, we can't be greedy nor make our own ideals."
".....Is it really too much for me to wish for a real family that trusts and loves me?"
*End of flashback.*
Miwa was breathing heavily, sweat running down her face as she was fighting back a serious headache. Her tails tightening their grip on Wukong's tail, while her body flickered for a moment.
"Deep breath, you are doing great my little monkey." Wukong tried encouraging her, and having her know he was here for her.
Miwa gave a slight nod, hearing his voice helped her calm down and relax a little as she kept pushing for another memory.
*Flashback.*
"Tell me ____, what is your life even worth. Having to go through this every time, when someone makes that same kind of ___."
"I don't know what you are *coughs up blood* talking about."
"Don't play dumb with me ____, I've lived a long time and funny enough this is the second time we've met. Though the situation was different, it still ended the same way."
"And I'm telling you! I don't know!"

"So now you finally decide to show your true self ____, but I'm sure we will meet again, Red ____."
*End of flashback.*
Miwa's breathing was growing heavier as a cosmic aura started surrounding her, only growing stronger by the minute. Some monkeys had at some time come over to both her and Wukong, watching closely, but with the energy coming from Miwa. They started getting scared and backed away.
"Sunshine, listen to my voice. Take it slow and easy, I think this is enough. No need to go any further." Wukong grew worried as it seemed the situation was escalating, and not wanting her to have another episode he decided to stop it.
Miwa wasn't listening as she was too focused on going through her memories, and soon enough found another. But this one was a little different.
*Flashback.*
"I'm telling you, something is gonna go wrong." said a black blurry person worryingly. .
"And I'm telling you, that nothing is gonna go wrong. Everything will be fine, you know me." said Wukong with confidence.
"You can still call it off, it's not too late to turn away from this fight." said the blurry person, worried about the outcome should the other go through with the plan.
A red monkey had stopped playing with her plushies, and had turned her attention to Wukong and the other person.
Wukong rolled his eyes at the other's words. "Stop worrying so much! I'm telling you when this battle is all over we wouldn't have anything to worry about. As the future rulers of Celestial Realm we'll make everything so much better, and more safe for our little princess!"
The blurry person slowly grew more clear as he let out a heavy sigh, and took notice of the red baby monkey and picked her up. "Hey little star, did you get bored playing with your plushies?"
The red monkey tilted her head to the side before she went on to climb up on top of the blurry person's head, smiling happily at how high up she was.
A small smile grew on the person's face along with Wukong who took the red monkey into his arms, and started throwing her into the air causing her to laugh out loud.
"I promise when we've won, everything is gonna return to how it was before. As long as you have my back, I'll always have yours Macaque." said Wukong, going on to tickle the red monkey, getting a few laughs and squeals from her.
Macaque let out another sigh but gave a slight smile. "Okay Wukong, I trust you in keeping that promise." He watched the red monkey trying to get out of Wukong's hands but was failing. "You keep tickling little freckles and she wouldn't be able to sleep through the night."
"Which is why you're gonna be the one telling her a bedtime story this time, while I get her something to eat." said Wukong, chuckling at the red monkey's struckling.
"You better not be feeding her peaches again, let alone another peach of immortality that I'm surprised you still had one left. I'm amazed that her reaction to it didn't kill her on the spot." said Macaque, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow.
"Hey! How should I have known she would react that way to a peach. So far I've never seen any monkey or demon that didn't like peaches." Wukong protested, going on to throw the red monkey into the air again.
*End of Flashback.*
"Miwa.....Miwa.....Miwa!" Wukong kept shouting her name until she finally snapped her eyes open, seeing the concerned look on his face before he pulled her into a hug.
Miwa wasn't sure how to react for a moment until she wrapped her arms tightly around him, crying into his chest as those vivid memories had returned and was still very fresh on her mind.
"It's alright my little monkey. I've got you." Wukong rubbed her back trying to comfort her, while ignoring the fact that she had almost broken his tail, by how tightly hers two was holding on to it.
Miwa didn't say a word as they just sat there for a long while until she had finally calmed down enough, and at this point was just exhausted from all of this.
"How about I order us some noodles, and we watch something on the TV I have inside my temple?" Wukong suggested, gently patting her head.
"Sure, that sounds like a plan." Miwa gave a small smile, along with another hug. "I don't say this enough but, thanks dad. I love you."
Wukong was taken aback by this but returned the hug with a big smile. "I love you too, my little monkey."
Miwa's tails was wagging happily upon hearing this. She pulled away and headed inside the temple.
When she closed the door and was alone inside. Tears started running down her face once more, after so many years no one had ever said those words to her. So hearing it coming from her actual dad, made her so happy that she started crying.
Though getting some time to find the TV and calm herself, before Wukong showed up. One small thing was now going through her head. ".....Macaque is my other parent.....that explains why he acts like dad did in the beginning."
"Peaches, did you find something you wanna watch yet?" Wukong came into the room, and sat down on the couch with her, using his tail to pick up the remote.
"No I haven't yet, also could you please stop calling me that. It doesn't help but make me hate peaches even more." Miwa rolled her eyes, leaning back on the couch.
"Hey! Just because you can't eat peaches, doesn't mean you get to hate on them. Not my fault you're allergic to them." Wukong commented while going through each channel.
"Actually it is your fault, if you hadn't fed me that peach of immortality when I was a baby. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have this allergy." Miwa pointed out at him, narrowing her eyes at him.
"You don't know that, and how would you even remember something that long ago?" Wukong threw back at her.
"And yet I somehow remember this old baboon sitting next to me." said Miwa only to get flicked in the forehead. "Ow!"
"Show some respect to your old man, missy. Otherwise I'm grounding you." Wukong had his tail ready to hit her again.
"You can't ground me, I don't even live under your roof." Miwa pointed out, and secretly grabbed a pillow.
"At the moment you are living under my roof, so if you keep this up you will be grounded to this place with me." said Wukong crossing his arms.
"I have work, you can't ground me for that." Miwa tried throwing a pillow at him, but he had already seen it coming, and easily caught it and threw it right back at her.
"Nice try, Freckles, but I'm not that easy to trick." said Wukong wearing a smug smile.
"And yet I was able to trick you into eating a bag of spicy chips." said Miwa, now also wearing a smug smile a bit similar to Macaque.
"Oh that's it!" Wukong pulled Miwa in and started tickling her all over, causing her to laugh out loud.
Soon enough they both started messing with each other and laughing out loud until there was a knock on the door, catching both of their attention.
They looked at each other until Wukong decided to get up. "Sounds like our noodles are here!" He walked over and was about to open the door until MK barges in.
"Pigsy's Noodles!" said Mk holding up a bag of noodles.
"You finally made it." said Wukong, smiling.
"Monkey King? Wait." Mk gasps. "This was all a lesson to see if I could focus!"
Miwa raised an eyebrow and decided to go over and see what Wukong had ordered of noodles.
"Oh hi Miwa! When did you get here?" Mk questioned but was happy to see here.
"Not that long ago, Wukong wanted me to do some more training." Miwa gave a slight shrug.
"Uh... yes! I wanted to teach you a valuable lesson. I definitely didn't just order three helpings of noodles to my shame temple." said Wukong, acting like he had planned this.
"You are such a bad liar." Miwa whispered at him, only to get thrown a random pillow in the face.
"You were right. I really was, honestly, terrible at focusing. But then..." Mk went on to explain.
"I'm just gonna take those off ya." Wukong took the bag and had a look at his order.
"I paid attention to everything, but I only focused on one thing: delivering... your... noodles!" Mk exclaimed in pure excitement.
"That's great, bud. I'm proud of ya. But... this isn't my order." said Wukong after having looked at the noodles.
"What?!" Mk exclaimed.
"How did you screw that up?" Miwa questioned.
"I-I don't know! I was so sure I focused on bringing the right noodles to the people that ordered them! said Mk in pure disbelief.
Wukong let out a sigh shaking his head. "Nothing we can do about it, might as well eat these why they are still hot."
"Great! I never thought I would get a chance to eat with the Monkey King!" said Mk excited and took his share of the noodles, and took a seat on the couch.
Miwa and Wukong watched him with raised eyebrows before looking at each other and a smile grew in their faces. "There better not be any spicy noodles." They said in unison, causing them both to chuckle.
Miwa grabbed her share and joined Mk on the couch to watch some Monkey King the animated series, with Wukong soon joining them too.
*Late at night.*
Wukong had offered to take Miwa home, even Mk had offered it. But she had declined them both and instead skated through the air, and straight back to her apartment.
Miwa let out a heavy sigh knowing what was coming as she got inside and turned on the light.
"Where have you been, Starlight, for you to come home this late?" Macaque leaned against a wall with crossed arms, not in a good mood by the look he was giving her.
"Wow, this really feels like I'm being scolded by a parent for being out late." Miwa thought but didn't say it out loud, so she let out a sigh. "I was busy training with Wukong, I tried telling him that I had other plans.....but he doesn't always listen."
Macaque let out a scoff in annoyance by hearing this. "Of course he doesn't listen, he never does."
Miwa opened her mouth to say something, but stopped herself. Hesitant to tell him that she remembered him, which of course only hurt her more.
"Well, nothing you can do about it. We'll just try again the next day you can." Macaque noticed the nervous look she was giving, so he gently patted her head. "I'm not mad at you, Freckles, you did what you could."
Miwa slightly nodded before pulling him into a hug, catching him by surprise. "....I'm sorry."
Macaque was confused on why she was hugging him, not that he minded it. Though the only reason he could come up with, was probably that she felt sorry for missing out on their training.
"It's alright, little star. No need to apologize." Macaque rubbed her back, trying to comfort her while in his head he was cursing at Wukong for ruining their day.
Miwa wanted to speak up and tell him the truth, that she remembered both him and Wukong, but it had already been a long day and she just wanted to go to bed.
"I promise, if this happens again I'll send you a text. Though I'm surprised you even have a phone." Miwa pulled away from the hug looking at him.
"A guy gotta catch up on some of the new stuff around here." said Macaque, giving her a smirk grin.
"Whatever you say, old man." Miwa giggled, only to get flicked in the forehead.
"Watch it, missy, or you will have a painful training session next time." Macaque pointed out with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm going to bed." Miwa walked to her bedroom while rubbing her forehead.
"....."Old man," is her memories returning." Macaque was slightly surprised by this discovery, but also grew nervous about her remembered Wukong too.
