Chapter 276 - 《Harry Potter- Ravenclaw》Chapter 144: The Mysterious Altar in the Notes

Whether it was Coolic or the M.S.C. logo, neither would have come to life without the combined efforts of all four friends.

As the M.S.C. emblem hung high on the wall, a wave of pride and camaraderie swept over Wyzett and his companions.

After a moment of quiet admiration, Wyzett collected himself, curiosity piqued by the magical biscuits Fred and George had mentioned earlier.

"Fred, those biscuits you were talking about… what do they actually do? Do they turn you into a bird or something?"

"Eh?" Fred's eyes widened. "How'd you figure that out?"

George crossed his arms dramatically, clutching his own shoulders. "You haven't been spying on us, have you?"

The twins' antics were nothing new—Wyzett had long since learned to take them in stride.

He grinned. "Well, when you used to crawl out of those barrels, you always had feathers stuck to you. I just put two and two together."

George dropped his hands and swiped his brow with exaggerated relief. "Oh, so that's all it was!"

"Actually, there's something I've been meaning to ask you two," Wyzett continued. "I just haven't found the right time—you've both been busy with training lately."

At the word "training," Fred shuddered. "Busy is an understatement! Wood's turned into a complete tyrant!"

George grew solemn. "If we reported Wood now, the Aurors would haul him off to Azkaban the moment they saw his training methods!"

Luna doubled over with laughter at the twins' wild gestures and exaggerated complaints, clutching her stomach.

"It can't be that bad, can it?" Wyzett chuckled, scooting his chair closer to Luna as if worried she might collapse from laughter.

"Training in pouring rain! Look at our robes—" George tugged at his, then paused. "Well, they're dry now. Hang on, let me fix that."

"At least all the clothes in our dorm are soaked!" Fred stopped George from drawing his wand. "He's under a lot of pressure this year, what with you lot and Slytherin…"

"The Nimbus 2001 is wicked fast!" George sighed. "It's like that… what does Dad call it? A jet plane—whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!"

Wyzett massaged his temples. The twins had wandered far off topic—time to steer them back.

"Did you two study Animagus transformations? Is that what inspired the biscuits?"

This time both twins gawked at him in unison. "How do you know all that?"

Wyzett replied, "I followed some leads from the creators of the Marauder's Map and learned they kept notes on Animagus transformations."

He remembered his promise to Hagrid, so he didn't share every detail—just enough.

After joining Hagrid in that secret room, he'd gradually pieced together the true identities of James and the others.

George snapped his fingers. "Oh, right! I remember now—you were collecting dew for something, weren't you?"

Fred jumped in, "Are you practicing Animagus magic? How far have you gotten?"

"I'm waiting for a thunderstorm," Wyzett answered. "Haven't you two tried it?"

"Wait here!" George dashed off down the corridor. "The Animagus notebook's in our dorm—I'll fetch it for you!"

Fred stayed behind to explain. "Animagus magic takes forever to master… and there are loads of warnings in the notes. We just don't have the time or energy to bother."

Even those few words made Wyzett all the more eager to see the notebook.

The twins might not have wanted to become Animagi, but their understanding—thanks to the notes—was nothing to scoff at.

Just as Wyzett suspected, the Animagus notebook contained insights from Prongs, Padfoot, and Wormtail themselves.

With this notebook as his reference, the paper Wyzett was working on would be far more convincing.

But that wasn't all—on the last few pages, he found something even more intriguing.

"Prongs and the others mentioned a place…" Wyzett pointed at the notebook. "It's supposed to be deep in the Forbidden Forest. Do you know about it?"

George nodded. "It's a massive altar. According to Prongs and company, if you activate it, you can control the weather."

"But it might be broken," Fred added. "At least, we couldn't get it working. Maybe it's missing some components, so the magic's not functioning."

Wyzett leaned forward, intrigued. "Components? Like what—herbs, crystals?"

"Crystals, mostly. It reminded us of an alchemical magic circle," Fred explained. "To us, the altar looked like a gigantic alchemical array."

"So we tried simplifying the array and used it to make these—" George produced one of the biscuits. "Canary Creams! Eat one, and you'll turn into a canary!"

"That's impressive," Wyzett admitted, tempted to try one himself. "Can you transform at will?"

George shook his head. "Best we've managed is twenty seconds."

Fred added, "And you can't even fly. After twenty seconds, the feathers fall off and you're back to normal."

The twins showed him their simplified alchemical diagram, pointing out some of the key features.

Wyzett listened intently, his curiosity about the altar growing.

There were still so many secrets hidden in the Forbidden Forest—just like the altar he'd discovered last year. All of them were worth exploring.

Each altar bore the same ascending spiral symbol, clearly tied to ancient magical power.

Unfortunately, the Scottish Highlands had seen nothing but rain lately—not the best weather for exploring the Forbidden Forest, with all its lurking dangers.

Wyzett asked the twins for a map of the route, planning to set out once the weather improved.

After bidding Fred and George farewell, Wyzett and Luna wandered the corridors together.

Luna asked dreamily, "Wyzett, do you want to go to the Forbidden Forest?"

Wyzett glanced at her, noticing how her eyes sparkled with anticipation.

"There are so many fascinating magical creatures in there. You want to see them too, don't you? Shall we go together when the time comes?"

"Yes!" Luna's eyes shone even brighter, like the most brilliant star in the sky. "I'll need to learn a bit more first, right? I don't want you to worry about me."

Wyzett nodded. "I've just mastered some useful magic that'll help you control that power."

"That power?" Luna lifted her pale wrist, gazing thoughtfully at her mistletoe bracelet. "Looks like private lessons with Professor Wyzett are about to begin again!"

Wyzett smiled softly. "They are."
