STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC74: Consuming Thousands

Chapter 74: Consuming Thousands

'But I know someone that this would be perfect for...'

A small grin spread on Jason's face as he thought about exactly who he would give this to. He might not be able to use it well, but it would be perfect for Gina. Gina's ability allowed her to control the winds, so a spell like this would boost her attack power significantly.

Jason was already thinking about ways to protect everyone in his family from danger, and making sure that they could protect themselves was the first thing he had to do. Jason tossed the orb into his Alternate Dimension. He would give it to a craftsman later so they could take a look at it and forge it into a staff for Gina.

Jason turned back to the carcass of the Adamantine Ant Quen and put his hand out towards it while spreading his mana across the floor.

"Resurrect."

Jason's mana rushed towards the Adamantine Ant Queen and tried to drag it out from its body, and Jason narrowed his eyes as he didn't see anything happen! Jason grit his teeth and took in a deep breath. He wasn't discouraged since this was the same thing that happened with the Moonlight Wolf Boss. Jason had already learned from his previous fight that the leader of the Gate always had more of an ego than the other beasts. Maybe it was because they were used to always being in charge, or maybe it was because they just hated the fact that Jason was taking all their followers. But Jason didn't care. He was going to get this bitch to obey him whether it liked it or not!

Jason glared at the Adamantine Ant Queen as a surge of raw emotion rose from deep within him. His unyielding will clashed with that of the Adamantine Ant Queen and he seethed towards it in raw anger.

"Get the fuck out here, you bitch. Resurrect!"

Boom!

A pressure traveled across the entire cavern as the Adamantine Ant's body was assaulted by Jason's mana! The Adamantine Ant's soul fought against the control as it tried to move away from Jason's mana! It desperately fought for a few seconds, but the force of Jason's mana was inevitable! Jason grabbed the monster by the soul and dragged it out forcefully!

SCREECH!

A loud screech echoed through the area as the Adamantine Ant Queen rose from its body! The beast still had its large, imposing appearance, but now there were purple lines moving across its body and it was covered in a purple hue just like all the other monsters in Jason's Legion. On the left side of its body was a tattoo of a Rook piece with the number two printed in it.

The ant turned towards Jason once it awakened and lowered its head obediently towards him. Jason gave a small smile and put his hands in his pockets as he looked the ant over. It was a formidable beast, and now that Jason was standing in front of it like this, he could understand why the other superhumans said it was strong enough to destroy an entire country.

If not for the fact that Jason was superhuman, then something this powerful could have killed him with a single step.

The new subordinate was already a Rook and Jason grinned happily when he saw that it was at Rank II instead of Rank I. At least he didn't have to use up any kill points in taking it from Pawn to Rook. Jason couldn't upgrade any of his Rooks until they had enough Hierarchy Points, and both the Adamantine Ant Soldier Rook and Moonlight Wolf Rook were only about halfway to a hundred percent in the hierarchy. At least with the Queen, he could boost a lot of the other Pawns and make them have higher defenses as well.

Jason immediately called on thirty Pawns that weren't yet subordinates of either Rook and he made them the Queen's subordinate. Out of the thirty, fifteen of them were Soldier Ants, and the other fifteen were split between the Pawn Rank II Moonlight Wolves and the Pawn Rank II Adamantine Ant Scouts. So now, Jason had fifty subordinates that were boosted by the Rook-based buffs and he was slowly building a proper defensive unit for his army.

[Due to the high mental fortitude of the [Adamantine Ant Queen], all the subordinates under her command will receive the special trait [Free Servants]]

[Free Servants: This trait allows the user to give orders to his subordinates without consuming any stamina.]

Jason hummed in surprise. That was unexpected! So he didn't have to use up any of his stamina at all for the thirty subordinates that were under the Adamantine Ant Queen. It wasn't a lot, but it was still going to be a large boost to him in the middle of a fight. Since the Adamantine Ant Queen was one of his strongest subordinates, he was going to be using her a lot, and that meant he wouldn't have to use up much stamina when sending her out with her subordinates.

Jason tossed another magical stone into his mouth and chewed on it calmly before he bent and grabbed the large Magical Stone from the Adamantine Ant Queen. Jason began to think about what he should do with this stone. A stone like this would definitely bring him a lot of money, but at the same time, it would also give him a huge boost in his abilities. Jason hummed curiously while thinking about what to do with it. Either option could be useful to him since he needed both money and power, but in the end, he decided that he would eat it.

Even though it would give him a lot of money, the other stones that he got from the ants could do the same things. The other stones couldn't give him the boost that this one stone would give, so it was better to eat this one and then sell a lot of the smaller ones to make money.

Jason threw a few smaller stones into his mouth first and chewed on those before he glanced at the large Magical Stone with an exasperated look. Jason couldn't believe he was doing this. Just a few days ago, he was worrying about how he was going to pay rent this month, and now he was here eating Magical Stones like they were a snack. He was consuming hundreds of thousands of dollars each time he chewed.

Jason shrugged before he cracked down on the large Magical Stone. He chewed all of it easily. The stone was very tough and it had almost the same hardness as granite. But Jason's teeth were stronger than ever before because of his status as superhuman, so the stone didn't stand a chance against his bite force.

Jason let out a sound of slight disgust after he swallowed the stone. It was warm and a little sticky with blood, so Jason hadn't been ready for the taste.

But the boost he got from the stone was undeniable. The boost to mana alone was more than what Jason got for killing an Adamantine Ant Soldier, so adding the boosts that he received to his stats just made things even better.

Jason let out a small laugh before he finally got a message from the Legion members outside telling him that they were done gathering the bodies of the dead ants together. Jason activated the [Eye of the King] skill to check their work and he saw that all the bodies had been gathered together in a heap at the center of the cavern. Jason nodded while deactivating the skill, and he began to leave the Queen's nest so he could finish resurrecting the remaining ants.

——

[The World of Radagan]

[A Significant Distance Away]

"Grab her! Don't let her get away! I said grab her!"

A man shouted in a loud voice as he and three other men chased after a woman. The men and woman all had humanoid figures that would have made anyone think that they were humans, but their figure was the only thing that related them to humans in any way. They all had black scales along their necks that reached all the way up to their cheeks. Their hands and feet were also covered in scales, with only their fingers and toes without any scales.

Their eyes were slit, like a lizard's, and when they opened their mouths, you would see multiple jagged sharp razor-like teeth!

They were moving quickly through the sky on the backs of large winged creatures, with the woman riding ahead of the three men. Two of the men were on one midsized dragon that was nearly thirty feet in length and ten feet in height, and the third man rode a smaller dragon that was only fifteen feet in length and six feet in height!

Ahead of them, the girl was riding on a long, thirty-foot wyvern with blue skin and a long tail. She had dark hair and deep red eyes that seemed to bore into anyone who glanced into them. Her face was a perfect oval that most models would kill to have, but her beauty was marred by a look of pure panic as she tried to get as far away from the men behind her as possible! But every time she looked back, she felt fear fill her heart as she saw they were gaining on her!

The wyvern that she was riding let out a panicked cry as it felt its speed dropping. There was a massive injury on the wyvern's side that was letting out a lot of blood, and the woman felt panic rising in her heart when she looked inside herself and saw that she was already out of mana!

The men had been chasing the woman for more than thirty minutes now, and their dragons had fired attacks at her many times to injure the wyvern. She managed to heal the wyvern every time they attacked it, but she was nearly out of mana, so the most recent attack was too much for her to handle!

The men behind her shouted again in anger!

"Get back here, you bitch! Shoot at her! Shoot her again!"

The man riding a single dragon was the one shouting and one of the men on the other larger dragon turned to the man and shouted back in worry.

"But she's the princess! If we attack again, we might kill her!"

The first man growled in anger! Did this man think he was a fool who didn't consider that? He would have just shot the girl down himself, but his dragon was too small, so its flame couldn't be strong enough to kill the wyvern!

"She can just heal herself even if we hit her! Just shoot the wyvern down! Do you want to report back to the Sovereign that we let her get away!?"

A shiver of fear passed through the bodies of all three men once the Sovereign was mentioned. They would rather go through hell itself than face off against the Sovereign! They had been sent here by the Sovereign to bring his Princess back to him, and they knew it would be the end of them if they went back empty-handed!

The man guiding the larger dragon immediately sent his command to the dragon using a mental link, and the dragon picked up speed as it began to get closer to the wyvern! It opened its mouth and a ball of superheated flames formed in the deep cavernous orifice! The entire region seemed to grow a thousand degrees hotter immediately, and the girl turned around in shock when she felt the heat!

'NO!'

BOOM!!!

The dragon let out a blast of fire that was strong enough to eviscerate an S Rank easily! It shot straight toward the wyvern, and the girl quickly turned her body to the side and guided the wyvern out of the way of the blast! The flames shot past the wyvern by barely ten centimeters, and the girl heard the wyvern cry out in pain as its skin began to sizzle from the blast!

The girl began to pet the wyvern's head desperately while crying out to it through their mental link!

'No! No! Please don't stop! Please! Just a bit further!'

The girl begged for it to keep going, but she could already feel the life in her partner's body fading away. It wouldn't be long now before it died!

The girl reached into her shirt and grabbed a large Magical Crystal that was glowing with a bright yellow light. The stone hung around her neck through a chain, and she gripped it tightly as she felt fear fill her heart. The magical stone would allow her to boost her magical power if she swallowed it, and she could use that magical power to open a dimensional tear so that she could escape.

'But it's too early. I haven't gotten to the location yet!'

She had been saving this stone to use when she finally reached the place her father told her about. Opening a dimensional tear randomly would take you to any random location in the vast primordial expanse. But you could control where you go by opening the tear at a specific place. Her plan was to wait until she reached her destination, but she knew now that there was no way she would be able to get there. Her father warned her that she was going to suffer serious repercussions and she wouldn't be able to use her magic for a while after she used the stone, and she needed to make sure she didn't use it randomly so she wouldn't be killed by any Magical Beasts in her weakened state.

But she had no choice! Her wyvern was dying and the dragonriders were gaining on her! If she waited any longer, she was going to die! The girl sent another mental message to the wyvern and asked if it could go any faster, but the wyvern cried back that it was going as fast as it could already! It was flying on fumes, and it would soon fall! The wyvern begged the girl to use the stone and told her that it would stay here to hold the men back!

'What!? No! You're coming with me!'

The girl cried back as tears gathered in her eyes, but the wyvern said that it was already done for. Its wings and body were burnt, and it was nearing death! There was no way it would survive!

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC76: Can I Justify This?

Chapter 76: Can I Justify This?

'What!? No! You're coming with me!'

The girl cried back as tears gathered in her eyes, but the wyvern said that it was already done for. Its wings and body were burnt and it was nearing death! There was no way it would survive!

The girl closed her eyes as tears gathered there! She was desperately trying not to cry, but even as she opened her eyes with a resolute expression on her face, a tear fell against her will! She immediately tore the stone off her neck and immediately threw it into her mouth and ate it!

Doon!

The girl suddenly felt her chest quake as a massive tremor traveled through her body! She let out a desperate gasp and her hand tightened against her wyvern's leash! Her eyes opened wide and her entire body jolted as she suddenly felt a rush of pure power shoot through her like electricity!

Her mana surged back to life and she felt an indescribable amount of strength in her body! She immediately called on all that strength and she recalled the technique that her father taught her for opening a dimensional tear! She sent mana out of her body in a blast radius and the space in front of her rippled as she saw the space opening!

The girl stood up slowly on the back of her wyvern and the dragon riders behind her felt their eyes widen when they saw that she was trying to get away! The man riding on the smaller dragon immediately shouted!

"Shoot! Shoot! Now!"

The two dragons opened their maws at the same time and shot fire towards the girl at the same time that she jumped off the back of the wyvern and towards the large dimensional tear in front of her!

Behind her, the wyvern turned around and spread its wings out wide as it sacrificed its own body to act as a shield! It then drew in a lungful of air as a massive wave of mana gathered in its chest! The wave of mana grew hot and fiery as it was amplified by the wyvern's own magic and the wyvern unleashed a massive blast of pure blue flames toward the men at the same time that the blast of fire from the dragons slammed into the wyvern's body and two massive explosions echoed through the sky!!

KA-BOOMM!!

——

[With Jason]

"Resurrect."

Doon!

Jason's mana surged across the mass of ant carcasses that had been gathered by his Legion and Jason felt his mana reserves dip significantly as close to two hundred ants dragged themselves out from their dead bodies and into the world once more!

SCREEECHH!

Loud screeches echoed across the cavern and Jason could feel the ground under his feet shaking from the intensity! He felt a grin spread on his lips and he just watched his Legion slowly getting themselves in order while throwing a large Magical Crystal into his mouth and chewing calmly! After eating about ten of the Magical Crystals, Jason had slowly gotten used to the taste, and now it was almost like he wasn't even tasting it anymore.

'That's freaking awesome!'

Jason exclaimed internally when he saw the changes that the new subordinates gave his system. Jason already knew that there would be a large boost to his stats and mana when he summoned all of them, but he didn't think it would be to this extent! His mana had gone all the way up from around six thousand to nearly fourteen thousand! His stats had also gone up a lot, and even though Jason was a little disappointed that he didn't break into S Rank, at the rate he was going, he was sure that he would be able to break into S rank before long.

The only thing that slowed him down from breaking into S rank easily was the fact that the stones boosted his agility and durability more than his strength and stamina. Since all the subordinates were from Adamantine Ants, which were more durable and agile, Jason couldn't focus his growth on the stats that he wanted.

At least Jason now knew that you couldn't just use any Magical Crystal for anything. You have to know what Magical Crystal will give you which boost before you use it.

Jason was a little irritated that he didn't have any other creatures here to consume their Magical Crystals, but he didn't let it bother him. He was already gaining a lot from this one gate and he was sure he would get a lot more when he dives into another gate in the future.

Now that he was done with the resurrections, Jason decided that it was time for him to think about getting back. Jason reached into his pocket and drew out his phone to check the time and he was surprised to see that only six hours had passed since he went into the Gate. His phone had no new messages or calls because there was no signal inside the Gate, and Jason was sure that once he got out he would have at least one message from Gina.

'I'll have to tell her where I was or she'll get angry.'

Jason didn't want to tell Gina that he was going into a Gate earlier because he knew that she would try to come with him to protect him or watch his back. Jason didn't mind her doing that, but he felt like this was something he had to handle alone. Gina had never gone into an Orange Gate before, and this was the first time Jason would be going into an Orange Gate as well, so he had no idea what he would find in here.

But now that Jason was sure that he could handle the monsters in an Orange Gate, and he also had the Heart of the Ant Queen that would help Gina boost her attack power, Jason didn't have to worry about her safety as much as before. The next time Jason would be going into a Gate, he would bring her along so that she could grow stronger too.

Jason finally finished up his resurrection and he turned to look at the bodies of the ants that were left behind. If not for the fact that the system already told him that they would become useless, Jason would have thought about taking some of them back so he could sell them. But it was just going to be a waste of time. Besides, Jason already had more than three hundred magical crystals with him. If he sold those, then he would make a couple million dollars at least.

Jason chuckled slightly once the thought passed through his head. He was still in shock at the fact that he was even talking about making a couple million so easily.

But all of a sudden, Jason frowned as another thought passed through his head. Did Jason want the government to know that he had gone into an Orange Gate? Jason was still new to the world of superhumans, and even though everyone hailed him as the strongest awakener in the world, no one in the government expected him to grow quickly since they thought that he only had an ocular ability.

How would Jason justify getting so many Magic Crystals when he was only an A Rank?

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC77: Just Burn It All!

Chapter 77: Just Burn It All!

Jason was still new to being a superhuman, and even though everyone hailed him as the strongest awakener in the world, no one in the government expected him to grow this quickly since they thought that he only had an ocular ability.

If Jason suddenly brought more than three hundred Magical Crystals forward and told them that he got them from an Orange-level Gate, they would definitely become suspicious. Not only would it be difficult for them to just believe that he 'found' an orange Gate, but it would also be difficult for them to accept that someone with an ocular ability was able to defeat the Eldritch Rank boss that would be in the Orange Gate.

At that moment, Jason decided that he was not going to sell the crystals to the government just yet. For now, Jason had enough money to last him a long time, so he didn't need to worry about making more. Rather than selling the crystals and exposing himself, he would hold onto them and find a way to sell them without drawing attention his way.

'I've heard of those private companies that try to buy Magical Crystals from superhumans, but the SMD has a monopoly on the crystals since they are the ones in charge of everything superhuman-related. If I can find a company that isn't affiliated with the government at all and won't reveal my identity, then I can just sell it to them. Most private companies even pay more than the SMD, so it shouldn't be a problem.'

Jason made up his mind quickly about the situation. Jason wasn't afraid of what the government could do to him since he was more than strong enough to handle anyone who attacked him, but he was cautious because he didn't know who he could trust in the government. That lady he spoke to earlier was still fresh in his mind, and he still remembered the unpleasant feeling he got when they spoke. There was no doubt that she was up to something, and Jason was only going to draw more attention to himself if he exposed that he had gone into an Orange Gate.

Jason closed down the system tabs that were open in front of him and began to scroll through his main tab to check and see if he could upgrade some of the Pawns with the kill points that he had gotten. The Rooks couldn't be upgraded yet since they hadn't reached their max hierarchy percentage, so he had to focus on making the pawns stronger. But he stopped when he felt a tremor travel across the entire cavern!

DOON!

A sound like an earthquake traveled through the cave with rocks and stalactites falling from the ceiling and slamming into the ground! The Legion all began to screech or howl in irritation as they moved out of the way of the falling rocks, and Jason immediately called on one of his rooks when he felt another massive tremor travel through the ground!

'Am I under attack? No, there shouldn't be anything in this Gate stronger than the boss, and I already killed it! So what the hell is going on?'

The tremor felt like it had been created by something even stronger than the Eldritch-rank boss!

Jason immediately climbed onto the back of the large Adamantine Ant Rook and ordered all the Legion subordinates into the Alternate Dimension before he took off with the Rook to the tunnel leading out of the cavern!

...

Outside the cavern, the massive tremors were also traveling across the ground! The source of the tremors was a massive tear that had appeared in the space above the hill! It pulsed and shook with mana at strange intervals, and it wasn't long before a single girl with dark hair and red eyes flew out from it with a shout!

It was the same girl that had been riding the Wyvern, and she cried out in pain as she fell on her hand and heard a loud crack echo through the area!

Crack!

The hand had fallen at a strange angle, and she immediately knew that it was broken! Her mana quickly traveled towards the arm, and a bright blue flame engulfed it before vanishing and leaving her completely unharmed! She quickly rushed to her feet and turned around to see what happened with the tear, and at the next moment, she put her hand up to her face as a massive explosion echoed across the air! The explosion was from the dragon flames that had been shot at her, and the girl immediately knew that her Wyvern had used its body to block the worst of the explosion!

She tightened her hand into a fist as she watched the tear slowly closing and a hard look of cold fury covered her features. She was eternally grateful to her companion for what it did, and she swore that she would get stronger and come back to avenge it!

ROARRRR!

But before she could really enjoy her relative safety, a massive roar echoed through the region from the other side of the tear, and she looked up to see a small dragon with a single rider break through the gap just before it closed! The girl swore in fear and immediately turned to run away! How in the world was he able to get through!? Is it because of the size of the dragon!? The tear was meant to close immediately after she passed through, so it was only because of how small the dragon and its rider were that they managed to make it through!

Up in the sky, the dragon rider gained a huge smirk as he saw the girl running towards the forest! He slapped the dragon on its neck with a shout, and the dragon reared its head back and fired a blast of fire forward as it began to dive down!

ROARRRR!!

BOOOM!

The fire slammed into the ground just behind the girl, throwing her forward and sending her flying across the forest with a scream! She slammed into the ground roughly, and immediately her entire body was covered in bruises!

Phwoom!

Blue fire surged across her body as her magic surged to life again, and it wasn't long before her entire body was healed from all injuries! She got up and began to run again, but the dragon in the air wasn't giving her even a second of rest! It dived downward and tried to get through the thick foliage of the forest to get to her, but it was stopped by the sharp tips of the trees and it roared in irritation! The man riding the dragon cursed before he just shouted at the dragon!

"JUST BURN EVERYTHING!"

The dragon rider didn't give a fuck about nature or what he could do to the environment! He just wanted to get the princess back no matter what!

The dragon followed the command of the man, reared its head back, and its mouth glowed with a bright yellow light! The dragon was smaller than the one the two men had been riding earlier, so it wasn't as strong, but that didn't mean it didn't possess power! It was still a dragon, and dragons all possessed power beyond mortal understanding!

The dragon's dark cavernous mouth filled with fiery mana, and at the next moment, it shot its head forward and unleashed a blast that flew straight towards the girl! The girl turned around once she felt the heat approaching her, and her eyes widened in fear when she saw yellow fire engulfing her vision! She immediately covered her entire body in her blue mana like a shield just before the attack could hit, but her mana was so low that it really didn't matter at all!

The blast slammed into her, and a massive explosion rang through the area!

BOOOM!

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC78: An Honest-to-God Dragon

Chapter 78: An Honest-to-God Dragon

BOOOM!

The girl was thrown back like a ragdoll! She slammed through hundreds of trees, and bruises and cuts filled her body as her mana began to waver and die out! She crashed into a large foliage a far distance away and finally slammed to a stop, and the dragon rider let out a laugh in victory! He was sure that this time she wasn't going to be getting up no matter what! That blast should've knocked her out for the next few days at least!

The dragon rider immediately instructed his dragon to go towards the girl, and the dragon immediately began to swoop downwards to try and reach her!

But once he reached the area where the girl had fallen, he was shocked by the sight that greeted him! There was a large, stocky-looking ant standing just a few meters away from the girl's form. It was looking up at the man with large beady eyes that promised death, and the man felt a shiver go down his spine when he saw the purple fire that was present in that gaze! But it wasn't the ant that had shocked the man! The man already expected there to be various magical beasts in this Gate, so he wasn't surprised that the ant was there. Instead, what really shocked the man was the person kneeling beside the girl and putting his hand on her neck.

Who the fuck was that!?

....

Jason put his hand over the girl's neck to check for her pulse. She was well and truly knocked out, and there was no way she would be getting up for a long time with the amount of injuries that she had. Jason could see blue flames flickering across her body and trying to do something, but it was dying out immediately when it came to life and Jason immediately assumed that it was because the girl was out of mana, so her body couldn't do what it wanted.

Jason was surprised. What was going on here? Where did she come from, and what the hell caused her this much damage? Jason's eyes trailed over the scales covering the girl's cheek and hands. It was very obvious to him that she was not a human, and he immediately wondered if she was some sort of magical beast.

Jason was inside a Gate, right? Was it possible for a humanoid magical beast to exist? Because that was the only explanation that Jason could come up with at that moment.

'No, that doesn't make any sense. System, do you know what race this is?'

[Analysing...]

[Analysing...]

[Analysing...]

[Analysis complete. The system has identified her as a member of the Dragonborn race from the world known as Radagon. They are a fierce race of dragon and wyvern-riding warriors who are well-known for their affinity for all forms of fire-based magic.]

Jason's brow furrowed. A Dragonborn? This was the second time he would be hearing about worlds other than Earth, and Jason found it a little easier to accept the possibility that there were other worlds now that he knew he was also not from this Earth. But the real question now was how did she get here?

The system was about to answer this question as well, but Jason's attention was dragged away as he felt a gust of wind blow across the clearing! A massive creature descended from above him, and Jason felt his eyes widen as he saw a literal honest-to-god dragon descending from the sky. Holy. Fucking. Shit.

Jason didn't even know what to do for the first few seconds. The dragon was as large as a small airplane but with wings that covered more than three times its size in wingspan! Its body was covered in scaly skin that looked thick enough to stop a Gatling Gun's attack, and on its back was a single man who was glaring down at Jason with intensity!

'A fucking dragon? There's no way this is real. Hahaha. I always wanted to see one of these things!'

For a moment, Jason's amazement at the sight of the dragon made a small smile crack on his face, but once Jason saw the dragon rider narrow his eyes, Jason's smile died out and he slowly got to his feet. Jason didn't know what was going on, but there was no doubt in his mind that the girl's injuries had been caused by the dragon rider. Why was he chasing her? Was she some sort of criminal? Or maybe she was running away from him because she owed him something?

No, Jason didn't think that was the case. Her clothes weren't tattered like a slave's, and there were no chains on her. Jason didn't know exactly what the issue here was, but he was at least certain of the fact that the man was responsible for the girl's injuries. Jason first needed to figure out what the relationship between the both of them was before he could do anything else, so he decided that he needed to talk to the man.

But before Jason could get a word out, the man opened his mouth and spoke.

"!#@#!@##$#@%$#@!"

Jason's eyes narrowed in confusion when he heard the gibberish that came out of the man's mouth! Jason couldn't understand a single thing that man said! What the hell?

The system immediately brought up a tab.

[Foreign Language Designation: Radagan Tongue]

[Will the user like to assimilate this foreign language? It will allow the user to speak and understand the language fluently. Yes/No]

Jason immediately chose yes, and he felt a strange sensation in his ear and his tongue. It felt like some sort of liquid metal was covering his ear and tongue, and Jason watched the dragon rider closely as the man tightened his hand around the dragon's leash while shouting!

"!@#@!#@... I said get away from the princess this instant, you filthy human! She is the bride promised to the Sovereign, therefore you are interfering in the business of Radagan royalty! Step away from her and fall to your knees before I end your pathetic life!"

The man's gibberish suddenly evened out into an understandable language, and Jason felt his eye twitch in irritation when he heard the man hurling insults at him. The man spoke about the girl like she was royalty, but there was no sign of respect in his voice, and it was obvious that he was the one who had attacked her. It didn't make sense for him to be attacking her like this if she was royalty. Weren't princesses treated like pearls or something?

Jason felt his face squeeze into a frown! His eyes narrowed at the dragon rider as a feeling of distrust rose in his heart, and the man grit his teeth in irritation the moment he saw this! How dare this trash glare at him! Did he think he was worthy of even looking up at a great member of the Dragonborn race!?

Jason looked from the rider down to the girl before he finally spoke.

"Did she do something wrong? I don't know about you, but I don't think a princess should be getting attacked like this. It defeats the entire purpose of her being a princess in the first place."

Jason wasn't a knight in shining armor. In fact, he was the last person you would see putting his neck on the line for someone that he didn't know because of some hero complex. But there was just something about seeing someone getting unfairly hurt right in front of you that most humans couldn't accept.

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC79: Just Explain What's Happening!

Chapter 79: Just Explain What's Happening!

Jason might not be a hero, but he was still his mother's son and an upright person. His mother had taught him never to ignore those who were being hurt unnecessarily if he could do something about it. Even when Jason was just a human, he would sometimes stand up for some of the students in the school who were being bullied by the superhumans. He never went too far since he knew that they were strong enough to kill him without much effort, but he didn't stay silent.

And now that he was a superhuman, he wasn't going to change his personality. If Jason saw something wrong happening right in front of him and he could do something about it, then there was no way he would ignore it.

The dragon rider snarled at Jason's question before shouting at him!

"You have no right to question a member of the Imperial Army! I am doing the bidding of my Sovereign and you dare to stand in my way!? Who do you think you are!? Turn away and leave this instant or you will face my wrath! This is your last warning!"

The dragon rider was starting to lose his patience and he watched Jason closely to see what he would do. Jason was still standing with his eyes narrowed in calm anger, and the dragon rider felt a massive surge of red-hot fury filling his body once he saw the condescending look in Jasno's eyes!

Jason spoke up calmly.

"Look, I'm not trying to get in your way. I'm just asking you to explain what's happening. You either calm yourself and explain what she did, or you leave, but you're not getting to her unless you go through me."

The dragonborn saw red! The Dragonborn were a very prideful race that held their honor above everything else! As far as they were concerned, without their pride and honor, they were no better than the worms on the ground, and the worst thing that you could do to a Dragonborn was to try and look down on them when they already saw you as someone lower than them! It would be the same as a servant looking down on a king, or even a cleaner looking down on a CEO! It sent them into a wild rage that they couldn't control, and that was why at that moment, the dragonborn lost all his rationality and immediately shouted to the dragon!

"BURN HIM TO ASHES!"

ROARRR!

The dragon reared its head back and opened its mouth wide as an orange blaze gathered inside its dark throat! The heat around the area shot up drastically as the dragon prepared to unleash the blast on Jason, but Jason just stood there with his hand in his pocket calmly! The dragonborn wondered if Jason had frozen from fear, but he didn't care at all as he commanded the dragon to shoot its head forward!

[Linear Charge]!!

SLAM!

Suddenly, a massive force dropped from the sky and slammed into both the dragon and the dragon rider! The dragon rider cursed loudly at the sudden collision and he lost hold of the dragon's leash and began falling to the ground! The Rook Class Moonlight Wolf roared in anger as it bit down on the dragon and dragged it to the ground at the same moment that the dragon unleashed its blast on Jason! The sudden movement caused the blast to go off target and it flew past Jason and towards the forest behind him before erupting in a fiery explosion!

BOOOM!

A large Pawn Rank III Moonlight Wolf appeared behind Jason and used its body to block both him and the unconscious girl from the shockwave of the explosion. Jason put his hand out to the side and eight more Pawns appeared there. All the beasts Jason summoned were Rook Class subordinates with enhanced defenses and Jason immediately ordered them to move forward and attack!

Jason had no idea how strong this dragon was, but from what Jason felt just now, he could guess that it was definitely stronger than him, so it would be somewhere around upper A Rank to S Rank. Jason quickly moved and grabbed the unconscious girl lying beside him and threw her over his shoulder before he started heading for the Adamantine Ant that he had been riding.

"Where do you think you're going!? Get back here now!"

All of a sudden, a loud shout echoed from behind Jason and Jason turned around to see the dragon rider snarling at him while drawing a sword from his belt!

SCREECHHH!!

Boom!

But before he could move, a large ant slammed into him and threw him to the ground! The ant used its mandibles to bite down hard on the man's leg, and only the man's armor prevented it from tearing the leg straight off! The man activated a flame-based skill that lit up his sword in red-hot fire before he swung it towards the ant and left a deep scratch along its body!

SCRREECH!

The pawn screeched in anger, but even with the scratch, it didn't stop at all! Instead, it was joined by another large wolf that bit down on the man's arm and the both of them began to shake him roughly as they tried to tear him to pieces! The Dragonrider was only on the same level as a B Rank since he was a mere soldier, so he didn't stand a chance against the pawns that had been buffed with extraordinary defenses!

Beside the man, the dragon was going absolutely mad as it fought against the Rook Class Moonlight Wolf! The Moonlight Wolf was the only one tussling with the dragon while the other Pawn Rank subordinates were moving around it and trying to provide as much support as possible! The dragon roared loudly as it grabbed one of the Pawns by the neck before using its sharp claw to tear it to pieces! It slammed its tail against another large pawn to throw it to the side before it opened its mouth and unleashed a blast of fire!

ROARRRR!!

The fire slammed into the large Rook Class Wolf and the wolf roared in pain as it was thrown back by the blast! The only thing that saved the wolf from being completely eviscerated by the blast was the fact that it had much higher defenses than a regular wolf which increased its durability! The wolf managed to get its feet under it again and it raced forward in a [Linear Charge]!

BOOM!

The charge slammed against the dragon and threw it back, but the dragon reached out and bit the wolf around the neck before slamming its body into the ground hard!

BOOM!

The dragon was two times larger than the Moonlight Wolf and it had sharp claws and teeth that would easily tear through anything in its path, so even with the extra help, the Moonlight Wolf was easily losing! Jason realized this after watching for a few minutes and he quickly called on his strongest Rook Class subordinate, the Queen Ant, and ordered it forward!

The Queen Ant was a Rank II rook, so its level of strength was beyond that of the Moonlight Wolf. The Queen Ant wasted no time as it gathered all the mana that it needed and immediately used it to boost its strength before it activated [Linear Charge]!

TWOOM!

The sound like a Gatling gun echoed through the region and the dragon only had time to turn towards the incoming force in shock before it was blindsided by the attack! The two behemoths flew into the forest and destroyed nearly a mile of trees as they passed! The dragon grabbed the Ant Queen by the neck and activated its fire once again, but this time it was shocked when the Queen didn't even bother to move!

ROARRRR!!

BOOM!

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC80: It's A Child

Chapter 80: It's A Child

BOOM!

The attack slammed point-blank into the Queen Ant Rook, and there was hardly any damage on the ant! The ant screeched as it reached down and bit into the dragon's neck with its mandibles and dragged the sharp appendage back hard! A loud 'squelch!' echoed through the air as the dragon suffered a massive cut on its neck, and it roared as it unleashed another blast toward the Ant Queen!

BOOM!

The Ant Queen tanked the attack once more, and Jason put his hand forward and told the other rooks around to join the Queen in attacking the dragon! The dragon continued to fight against the Queen Ant, holding it down easily and it was starting to gain the upper hand as its sharp talons cut into the Queen's eyes, but once it saw the other rooks were coming, it immediately beat its wings and took off into the sky as it realized that it was vastly outnumbered! It had to get away and draw them into an ariel battle so it would have the upper hand once again! The Ant Queen wouldn't let it happen though, as it reached up quickly to grab one of the dragon's wings in its mandibles and tore the leathery flesh apart!

ROARRR!!!

The dragon roared in pain as it was grounded, and the Moonlight Wolf Rook came around and bit down hard on the dragon's neck to give the Ant Queen enough time to finish it off!

On the other side of the forest, the Dragonrider was doing his best to fight back against the two Pawn Rank II subordinates who were attacking him! The Dragonrider had lost one of his arms already, but he was swinging his sword around with the other one and unleashing blasts of fire that were pushing the Pawn Rank II subordinates back!

He gritted his teeth and dashed forward to the Pawn Rank II in front of him before using a special fire-based skill to double his momentum at the last minute with a well-placed blast! This allowed him to slam his shoulder into the Pawn Rank II, and he coated his sword in flames before using it to stab the Pawn Rank II in the neck and kill it! The dragon rider was on the same level as a B Rank, so he had enough strength to take on a Red Gate boss all on his own!

He got up after seeing the Pawn Rank II under him dissolving into dust and he glared at the remaining Pawn Rank II wolf before looking up at Jason, who was glancing down at him with complete nonchalance. The Dragonrider swore that he was going to kill that man even if it was the last thing he did. How dare he look down at him like this!? Who did he think he was!?

The Dragonrider felt adrenaline filling his body as he prepared to fight against the remaining Pawn Rank II, but before he could even take a step, he felt an ominous feeling engulf his body! A strong mana surged across the area, and right before his eyes, the monster that he had killed slowly rose from the ground and came back to life. Then another monster joined it, and then another, and then another, and then another.

Slowly, the feeling of dread changed into pure terror in the man's heart, and it wasn't long before his fear changed to despair and hopelessness.

'Who is this monster?'

the Dragonrider looked up at Jason who was still looking down on him in nonchalance, and he knew at that moment that he had picked a battle he was never going to win.

But even in the face of such daunting odds, the Dragonrider refused to give up. His one hand held onto his sword tightly, and he grit his teeth while glaring at the monsters around him with pure wrath! They wanted a fight!? He would give them a fight that they would never forget!

"If you want my life, then come and take it! I will not yield! But know that you have signed your death warrant this day! The Dragonborn will come for you and we will kill you in cold blood! Ptoo! I swear it on this soil!"

The dragon rider shouted loudly at Jason as he spat blood on the ground in front of him! A threat like that would have been enough to put fear into the heart of any normal man because of the sheer hatred present in the Dragonborn's eyes, but Jason was no normal man, and he simply put his hand forward as he spoke.

"Let them come. As long as they draw breath and there is a heart beating in their chest, then they will also fall to my army."

Jason ordered the Pawns to attack, and they rushed forward!

....

From his place up in the sky, Jason watched as the Dragonborn was torn apart by his pawns. The man tried to put up a fight, but there was no chance for him to survive against six pawns on his own, so it wasn't long before his body was dismembered and broken on the floor. On the other side of the forest, the large dragon was lying on its back without moving a muscle. Its wings had been torn apart, and the large Moonlight Wolf had grabbed hold of its throat and was biting down hard to make sure that it lost as much blood as possible.

After a while, the dragon finally stopped moving as it died, and Jason watched as his system brought up the kill notifications.

Jason sighed as he turned down to look at the girl in his arms. The man said she was a princess, didn't he? What could have possibly happened that would make him attack a princess like this? Was there some kind of war happening out there?

The Dragonborn had said that the princess was promised as a wife to some 'Sovereign' and he immediately wondered if she was used as a bargaining chip in the war. Jason couldn't deny that the princess was a beautiful woman even with all the blood and mud on her face and it wouldn't be a surprise if her parents had given her to this 'Sovereign' to save themselves.

Jason turned away from the process as he shook his head and looked over at the dragon with a small grin. Regardless of what happened, things could have gone badly if the dragon was stronger than the Ant Queen Rook.

'I wonder if it's normal for dragons to be this weak. If it is, then I won't have to be worried about running into any other dragons in the future.'

Jason had this thought while looking at the dead carcass of the dragon in front of him, but a message from the system immediately destroyed his delusion.

[The dragon the user faced is only a youngling of the dragon race. In human years, this dragon would be no different from a five-year-old child.]

Jason blinked in surprise before turning to look at the dragon again. What? Wait, so this dragon wasn't matured yet!? Jason has been fighting a child this whole time!? Jason was in shock for a few seconds, and he closed his eyes and sighed before he asked a damning question.

'How strong is a fully matured dragon?'

[A dragon at full maturity will possess a body mass equivalent to the weight of four cargo ships and a wingspan covering the length of nearly two kilometers. They are Indigenous to most Dragonborn worlds, such as the world of Radagan. At its current power level, the user's world is incapable of standing up to such creatures, so should a single dragon find its way across the primordial Expanse and into the user's world, the user's world will most likely cease to exist. But the user does not need to worry because dragons are very prideful creatures, so it is unlikely that the Dragonborn on Radagan managed to tame a mature one. Only the younger dragons allow Dragonborn to ride them.]

Jason couldn't do anything but chuckle at that. So he was fighting against a child, and he had to use two Rook-based subordinates that were almost S Ranks, along with more than five B Rank pawns to defeat it? If he tried to fight against a grown dragon with these numbers, then he was going to be killed without question.

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC81: The Radagan War

Chapter 81: The Radagan War

Jason looked down at the girl in his hand again, and for a moment, Jason considered his next course of action. Jason could leave her behind and allow her to figure things out when she wakes up. However, from the things he heard from the Adamantine Ant subordinates, he knew that this hill was filled with other dangerous monsters, and Jason was sure that at least one of them would come and kill her if he left her here alone. The only other option was to take her with him, and Jason decided that he needed more information before he could decide on whether to bring her or not. Jason didn't want to go into a situation without knowing what he was getting himself into.

Jason looked towards the Dragonrider's body that was set on the ground and told the Rook carrying him to take him down to it. The Rook flew down to the body, and Jason put his hand toward it and spoke.

"Resurrect!"

Doon!

A massive pressure filled the area as Jason's mana dove into the man's body! For a second, Jason was worried that the man was not going to be resurrected. Jason had felt the man's will firsthand during the previous battle, and Jason saw the intense fire that had been burning in the man's eyes! He knew that the man was very strong-willed, so there was a chance that he would fight against the summoning. But Jason immediately got rid of that thought as his eyes narrowed into a glare! Who cared if the man had the strongest will in the world? He fought and lost against Jason's army, and Jason was going to have him whether he liked it or not!

Jason's mana grabbed onto the man's soul and immediately dragged him back forcefully to pull him out of his body, and Jason watched as an astral copy of Dragonrider formed in front of him with a calm look on his face. The Dragonrider was wearing the same outfit that he had on when he died, but the missing arm had returned, and he had a spectral sword attached to his hip.

'So it's true. I can summon humanoid creatures as well. And he's wearing armor and his sword, so that means they always come back with everything they had on them when they died. I wonder if the armor and sword have the same properties that the original weapons had.'

Jason's thoughts immediately began to wander as he thought about this. If the Dragonborn's weapons and armor had the same properties as the original ones, then it would be the same as gaining two artifacts for each kill.

But the system immediately responded.

[The subordinates are summoned in the state that they were defeated. The artifacts, weapons, and armor are treated as a part of their overall strength, and they will be summoned with them to ensure that their strength is maintained.]

Jason hummed as he watched the man standing there. There was a look of intelligence in the man's gaze, almost like he could tell who Jason was, and he was simply waiting for any instructions from him. Jason spoke up.

"Do you remember who I am?"

The man nodded once and Jason raised a brow.

"Do you hate me for taking your life?"

The man shook his head immediately and Jason scratched his chin curiously. So it didn't matter how hostile his subordinates were before they died. Once they were resurrected they would immediately become loyal to him. That was good. Jason didn't want to have any rebellious subordinates in his Legion.

Jason asked another question.

"Can you speak?"

The man frowned at Jason for a moment as he tried to bring up any words before a response filtered into Jason's mind.

'I can only talk in this manner.'

Jason clicked his tongue before he looked away in irritation. He was annoyed that the man had lost his ability to speak and wondered if that had something to do with the man no longer being alive. Well, it wasn't so bad since the man could still speak through the mental link. Jason only needed him to reveal as much information as possible.

Jason asked the man what happened between him and the woman he was attacking, and the man immediately started to explain that the woman was the princess of one of the Dragonborn tribes on Radagan.

According to the man, the woman's name was Riyala, and she belonged to one of the most powerful Dragonborn tribes in Radagan, the Wyvern Riders.

There were two major dragonborn tribes in Radagan. The first was the Dragon Riders, who had bonded with dragons and used their power to gain honor on the battlefield, and the second was the Wyvern Riders, who were a more peaceful race and focused on trading and healing more than battle.

The Wyvern Rider's tribe had made a name for themselves by partaking in trade agreements between the many other tribes and accumulating a substantial amount of money. This allowed them to become the highest authority in the world of Radagan, and it wasn't long before there were rumors that Rilaya's father was about to be crowned as the next King.

But the mighty Sovereign who led the Dragon Riders refused to allow this to happen. He staged a massive coup in one night and attacked the Wyvern Riders with his army. They burned through the kingdom of the Wyvern Riders, and it wasn't long before they reached the castle and captured the king. The Sovereign was willing to allow the king to live so long as he agreed to relinquish his interest in the throne and give his wife and daughter to the Sovereign as his concubines. But even though the Wyvern Riders were not fighters like the Dragon Riders, they were still Dragonborn, and they were prideful and fierce.

The king's wife bit her own tongue on the night when the Sovereign tried to force himself on her and choked to death on her blood, and the king fought through more than twenty guards to give his daughter a chance to run away. Normally, the Sovereign would not have been bothered by the princess's disappearance since his main goal was to seize the throne, but he couldn't allow her to escape because of a special ability that she had been born with.

The Dragon Riders all possessed one form of fire-based ability or another, and the majority of them could only use their flames for destruction. But the princess was different. Her flames gave her the ability to heal any and every wound that she touched. It was an ability so strong that there was a rumor she had once regrown the arm of a soldier who lost it in battle! She was basically a phoenix in the flesh!

The Sovereign couldn't lose such a valuable asset, so he sent the Imperial guards to retrieve her before she could go too far. There were three of them altogether chasing her down, but she used a burst of mana to force open a dimensional tear to escape, and her Wyvern killed the other two men with a blast of magic. This man was the only one who survived, and he barely managed to follow her through the tear before it closed.

Once the Dragonrider was done with his explanation, Jason just hummed curiously as he looked towards the girl resting on the back of his Rook. So she was some sort of refugee running away from a war. At least he was assured now that he had chosen the right side. If it turned out that she was some sort of criminal who was running away from prison, then he would have felt a little bad about killing the man!

But the thing that worried him the most now was how she got here. Was it really that easy for anyone to open a dimensional tear?

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC82: So Many Difficult Choices

Chapter 82: So Many Difficult Choices

But the thing that worried Jason the most now was how she got here. Was it really that easy for anyone to open a Dimensional Tear?

The system immediately responded.

[Dimensional Tears are a result of a sudden and massive influx of mana in areas that have a weak spatial density. This allows the mana to create a pathway through the primordial expanse for inter-world travel. Dimensional Tears opened through artificial means only last for short periods depending on how much mana was used in creating them, while naturally occurring Dimensional Tears last for longer and eventually evolve into Gates. The Gates can only be closed by reducing the mana density in the area.]

Jason read through the message quickly and he hummed in understanding. Were those what the Gates really were? Jason had always been curious about why the Gates were popping up so often on Earth for the past ten years, and none of the analysts or researchers on Earth were able to give a good explanation for it! But the system's simple explanation made Jason understand perfectly! Doesn't this mean that the reason gates were closing down after the superhumans cleared them was because the mana in the Gates had been reduced enough to repair the Dimensional Tear?

[The user is correct. The accumulation of mana within a Gate is drastically reduced after it is cleared, and this allows the Gate to return back to its dormant state.]

Jason nodded along and immediately asked something else. If the princess was capable of opening a tear into this Gate that easily, then how easy would it be for someone else to do the same thing and then reach Earth from here? Does this mean that just anyone can reach Earth if they open a Dimensional Tear?

A response came quickly.

[The system believes that the Princess' presence in this Gate is a complete coincidence which occurred due to her desperation to get away from her attackers as well as the fact that Earth exists only one Dimensional Leap away from Radagan. Dimensional Tears are location-dependent and no two locations in a world would lead to the same place, so in order for someone else to find this Gate, they will have to go to the exact position where the princess had been and open a new Dimensional Tear. There are no indications that this Gate had been visited in the past, so it is likely that the princess opened the Dimensional Tear without proper planning and happened upon this Gate through sheer coincidence.]

The system was right. The Dragonborn princess, Riyala, had actually been planning on reaching a specific location her father told her about before opening the Dimensional Tear! That location was meant to lead her to a safe area that was only known to her family where she could hide until her father came to get her. But she had to open the Dimensional Tear prematurely and come to this world because she knew that the soldiers would get her before she could reach the actual location.

Jason frowned as he thought over what the system said. If the girl came here by accident, then it was possible that there would be no more enemies showing up for a long time. After all, everyone who knows where she opened the Dimensional Tear is already dead. But what did the system mean when it said Earth was only one Dimensional Leap away from Radagan?

Ding!

A system prompt popped up in front of Jason.

[The 'Dimensional Leap' is a unit of measuring the distance between worlds in the Primordial Expanse. Earth and Radagan are one Dimensional Leap apart because a traveler can reach Radagan from Earth after leaping through only one Dimension. The further away a world is from another, the greater the number of Dimensional Leaps it would take to travel between them. There are numerous worlds in the vast Primordial Expanse, and the chances of stumbling into a specific world without knowing the right location or number of leaps required are very low. According to assumulated knowledge, the system is certain that the Dragonborn do not possess the precise magic sensing abilities that would be required to reopen the Dimensional Tear leading to this world.]

Jason finally let out a sigh of relief at that message before he turned to the girl again. Now that they were no longer in trouble, Jason began to think about what the best course of action was with her. Jason could either leave her here and allow the Imperial guards or some other monster to eventually come to find her, or he could take her with him.

——

[The system has detected a difficult choice. The system has created two options for the user.]

——

Option 1: Abandon the Wyvernrider Princess and leave her in the Adamantine Ant Hill.

Rewards:

Increased reputation with the Dragonriders of Radagan.

Decreased reputation with the Wyvernriders of Radagan.

The user will earn the title [Self-preservator]

Option 2: Take the Wyvernrider Princess back to Earth with you and nurture her to health.

Rewards:

Increased reputation with the Wyvernriders of Radagan.

Decreased reputation with the Dragonriders of Radagan.

The user will gain a new mission.

——

Jason hummed while looking over the options. The fact that the system was bringing up something like this meant that this decision wasn't a small one. Whatever choice he made here would create a lot of ripples in the future, so he had to be careful when picking. Taking the girl with him didn't look like it would be an issue, but Jason was worried about involving himself in a war that had nothing to do with him.

Jason frowned as he looked at the dead soldier and dragon lying in front of him. There was no doubt that he had involved himself already, and now that he was already involved, Jason would not feel right if he simply left the girl here on her own. Jason wasn't heartless enough to feel nothing after everything that he learned about the girl. She had been through a lot, just like Jason. Jason was lucky enough to be blessed with the system when he was at his lowest point and that was the only reason why he wasn't already dead, and Jason decided that he would do the same thing for the princess. He would help her at her lowest.

The princess wasn't going to be waking up for a while, so Jason was going to just take care of her until she woke up and then he would send her on her way.

Although Jason was already used to the feeling of battle and had killed many beasts in the short time since he became a superhuman, this was only the first time that he was facing a situation that was this serious. And at the end, Jason decided that it was best to bring her along.

——

[The user has chosen the second option.]

The user has unlocked the New Mission [Guard the Radagan Princess.]

——

New Mission: Guard the Radagan Princess

The Princess of the Dragonborn, Riyala, has stumbled into the user's path in her desperation to run away from her pursuers. The user must ensure that the Princess is taken care of and healed before sending her on her way. So long as the Princess does not die while in your care, you will have successfully completed the mission.

Reward:

Increased reputation with the [WyvernRiders] of Radagan

+10,000 Kill Points

The user will earn the title [Protector]

——

Jason read through the new mission quickly and sighed calmly while walking up to the princess. He checked and made sure that she was still alive before he told the ant carrying her to take care of her. Jason didn't know it at that moment, but his decision to help this princess would change his entire life.

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC83: Emberstorm!

Chapter 83: Emberstorm!

The dragon that had been killed was still lying on the ground in a pool of blood. There were various subordinates standing around it and watching it closely for any signs of movement, and Jason told them to get back since he knew that it was already dead. Jason took in a deep breath and turned to look at his mana tab. This was going to be the most difficult resurrection that Jason had ever done! Jason already knew that the dragon was a creature unlike anything he had ever resurrected before, so it would definitely have a will that was much stronger than regular Gate bosses!

If Jason did a resurrection like this while he wasn't prepared, then there was no way he would succeed!

Mana Points: 8,550/14,910

Jason nodded when he saw that he had more than enough mana, and Jason rubbed his hands together and put his palm out towards the dragon! Jason might seem calm on the outside, but there was no way Jason could deny the excitement that he was feeling deep in his heart! Even though he was just a regular human until recently, Jason had heard about dragons in the myths and legends on Earth, and he was more than aware of just how extraordinary these creatures were! Having one of them as a member of his Legion was enough to make Jason feel like a little boy again!

But Jason had missed one very important aspect at that moment! In his excitement, Jason failed to realize that his stamina was already low due to the amount of stamina that he consumed while fighting against the dragon and the Dragonborn! Jason didn't pay any mind to that and he simply called out:

"Resurrect! Urk!"

Jason suddenly felt a massive amount of energy fly out from his body as his mana points dropped by more than four thousand points! Jason fell to one knee and coughed out some blood before a wretched feeling spread through his body! Holy shit! Am I dying!?

Jason had this thought as he tried to get his vision to stop swimming! How in the world did one resurrection do this to him!? Jason grit his teeth and forced himself to his feet! He should have known that dragons were different from regular monsters! There was no way you could compare the will of a dragon to that of a common Gate boss! Even if this was just a baby dragon, it was still a monster of myth, so its will was also much greater than regular monsters!

Jason thought that this resurrection would be a failure because of the reaction he had, but he was shocked when he felt a massive gale of wind blow across the entire forest! The dragon's body jolted as Jason's mana grabbed hold of it and Jason gained a wicked smile on his face as he watched the giant monster climbing out from its dead body!

The dragon clawed it's way back into the world of the living like the majestic creature of myth that it was, and it spread its large wings into the air before letting out a massive roar that shook the forest to its core!

ROARRRRR!!

Jason's grin widened even more until it evolved into an excited laugh! This was the greatest thing Jason had ever seen! Jason put his hand up towards the dragon expectantly, and the dragon came closer before lowering its giant head and putting its snout into Jason's hand.

Now that Jason was finally getting a closer look at it, Jason could tell that the dragon was a majestic-looking creature. Its scales flashed like black obsidian gems in the sunlight and purple lights were glowing within its eyes. Its wings were wide enough to wrap around its entire body, and it had sharp, dangerous-looking talons on all four of its legs. No wonder the Rooks weren't able to take it down alone. A monster like this was definitely going to be stronger than an Orange Gate boss!

Jason looked up to see what was written about the dragon's head.

Jason read through all the changes to his system rather quickly, but there was only one thing that stuck with him at that moment.

'I can shoot fire?'

Jason's grin widened even more as he read through the description of the Emberstorm skill. There wasn't a single man in the world who wouldn't feel excited at the possibility of being capable of shooting fire from his mouth, and Jason was no different! Jason immediately turned to his left to face a wide open space that was filled with only trees, and he reared his head back before activating the skill!

[Emberstorm] has been activated!

An intense heat surged through Jason's chest as he felt something like lava rising from his heart, and in the next moment, he shot his head forward and unleashed fire!

ROARRRRR!!

The fire roared into life and scorched everything in front of Jason for more than three hundred meters! The trees began to burn, the rocks cracked and broke into pieces, and even the air around Jason began to boil from the intensity! It took a few seconds for Jason to finally end the skill, and when he did, he beat his chest while bending forward and coughed out some smoke and charcoal.

'Fuck, I can taste the fire.'

[That is the ember residue from the user's heart. The user will eventually become accustomed to it with practice.]

'Is there anything you don't know?'

[The system is the greatest single archive of knowledge existing in the vast Primordial Expanse. But the system is only aware of what had been stored in its expansive database, therefore the system knows only what the system knows.]

Jason laughed at this before sighing and getting up to see the damage that he had done. The forest was absolutely cooked. The trees were still burning and Jason could see that the flames were spreading quickly over the other parts of the forest. Jason immediately told his ants to begin burying the trees with sand so that it would snuff out the fire, and more than a hundred ants went to do as they were told.

Once Jason was sure that the forest wasn't going to burn down, he turned to his dragon again with a wider grin than before. He was only getting more and more rewards from this bastard and Jason couldn't contain his excitement. The dragon rose its wings and roared into the sky in acknowledgment of Jason's recent Emberstorm attack! It was an impressive display for a youngling! Even though Jason was the dragon's master, the dragon knew that Jason was weaker than it! It felt that Jason was young and Jason still had the potential to grow stronger, so the dragon was trying to encourage Jason to make his Emberstorm stronger!
