STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC84: The Dragon's Treasure

Chapter 84: The Dragon's Treasure

Jason put his hand out and made the dragon come down to nuzzle its snout in his hand before he looked up at the tab hovering on the dragon's head and hummed.

It was a Rank II Rook, and that meant it was somewhere on the same level as the Adamantine Ant Queen that Jason had resurrected a while ago, but Jason knew that there was no way this was true. Although the Adamantine Ant Queen was strong, it was still not powerful enough to hold a candle to the dragon! Even when they were fighting, the Adamantine Ant Queen needed the help of the other Rook-class subordinates to put the dragon down properly.

'So does that mean the power gap in the Rook Rank is very large? If a monster this powerful is seen as a simple Rook Rank II, then how powerful does the monster need to be before it can become a Rook Rank III?'

Jason grinned at the system. If his theory was true, then he could look forward to just how much more powerful the Rook Rank III would be. It's probably going to be as strong as the Leviathan Rank boss of a yellow gate!

Jason felt a great feeling of excitement bubble up from his heart when he realized just how powerful the Rook Rank III would be, but before he could really enjoy the moment, a new notification popped up in his system.

——

By resurrecting a creature from the world of [Radagan], the user has successfully gained his first [Outerworld] subordinate.

——

The user has unlocked the special feature [Baptismal Rite]

[Baptismal Rite: A special system feature that can only be used on Legion subordinates in the Rook class or higher. When Baptized, a subordinate will be granted a unique name by the user, allowing them to possess a more secure identity and giving the user greater control over their actions.]

Benefits of [Baptismal Rite]

10% Reduction in stamina loss for each command given to the subordinate

——

Jason grinned. He had been waiting for the system to finally say something about him naming his subordinates. For a while, Jason thought about just giving his subordinates random names to make it easier to call on them, but after Jason started gaining more and more subordinates, he realized that it would be difficult for him to even remember all their names and he gave up on that line of thought.

But now that the system was giving him a feature for it, he could finally do it. The best part of all this was the fact that only the Rooks and higher would be getting names. If Jason had to name three hundred pawns, he would lose his fucking mind!

'I'd probably just give them names that start with letters or something like that. A, B, C... They'd fucking hate me.'

Jason laughed at that before he turned to the large dragon in front of him. If he was going to name anything first, then it had to be this. Jason might not be the sort of person to spend all his time on fantasy games or movies because of how he was always working, but that didn't mean he wasn't interested in them. He had seen a lot of clips from movies like Game of Thrones and games like Elden Ring and Elder Scrolls. They were just pastimes, but they were fucking awesome to him.

So Jason crouched down and put his hand on his chin as he started to think of a name. He needed something good. Something simple that he wouldn't bite his own tongue off while using. Something like...

"Ragnar...?"

Jason's brow furrowed as he mumbled this name and he heard the dragon release a loud roar once it heard it! Jason looked up in surprise, and a smile spread on his face.

'You like that name.'

The dragon looked down at Jason and released a puff of smoke from its nose. It was a good name and the dragon liked it!

"Alright, let's go with Ragnar."

[Does the user wish to grant this subordinate the name [Ragnar]? Yes/No]

Jason chose yes, and the tab above the dragon's head changed.

——

——

Ragnar brought its head down to Jason and nuzzled him with steam coming out of its nose. It was glad to have a name! Jason laughed and pushed it back before it could throw him to the ground.

'Okay, okay, that's enough. You're gonna burn me. hahaha. Alright, I have to name the other three. Come over here.'

Jason called on the other three Rooks and they came over quickly. Jason decided to first pick out a name for the [Adamantine Ant Queen], and after thinking for a while, he settled on the name Raya. For some reason, it just seemed to fit.

——

[Raya]

[Adamantine Ant Queen]

——

Raya came over and nuzzled Jason in thanks as well, and Jason laughed while making sure to avoid the sharp mandibles that would definitely cut him. But suddenly, Raya was shoved to the side by Ragnar and she stumbled away before Ragnar came around and nuzzled Jason as well. Raya hurried to her feet and screeched in anger before running to Ragnar and throwing him to the ground! How dare you try to steal the King away!?

Jason watched as the giant ant and dragon tussled, and it didn't take long before Ragnar was sitting on top of Raya and preventing her from getting up. Raya cried out in anger as she tried to cut Ragnar's legs with her mandibles, but Ragnar just laughed while releasing hot smoke from his nostrils. Jason ignored the both of them like a father ignoring his playing children and turned to the remaining two Rooks.

The [Adamantine Ant Soldier] was next, and Jason hummed for a while before he decided on the name Dino. The ant reminded Jason a lot of a dinosaur, especially with the way it fought in the previous raid, so the name seemed fitting.

——

[Dino]

[Adamantine Ant Soldier]

[Rook Rank I]

[Hierarchy Level: 1 [59.2%]]

[Subordinate Count: 10/10]

[Upgrade Points: 0/50]

[Upgrade Limit: Bishop Rank I]

[MP: 4000]

——

Dino screeched into the air as it tried to get close to Jason for a hug as well, but before it could even reach Jason, it was snagged out of the air by Ragnar and put under its feet together with Raya! Ragnar nuzzled Jason's face again, and Jason couldn't help but put his head in his hand and laugh! He finally understood what was happening! Ragnar was possessive of him!

Dragons were all very possessive creatures, so they were always trying their best to prevent anyone from getting close to their treasure. But now that Ragnar was Jason's subordinate, it saw Jason as his treasure and didn't want anyone getting close to him.

'Just don't kill them, Ragnar. I don't want to waste mana to resurrect them again.'

Jason turned away with a laugh as he sent this message to Ragnar, and Ragnar roared back in agreement! But Ragnar suddenly cried out as Dino and Raya both managed to flip Ragnar off his feet, and the three of them began to tumble through the forest as they fought for dominance!

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC85: The Problem With Dragon Crystals

Chapter 85: The Problem With Dragon Crystals

Jason ignored the bickering monsters and looked over at his final Rook. The Moonlight wolf had been with him since the very beginning and Jason felt some sort of emotional attachment to it because of how long it's been fighting for him. Jason grinned at the monster, and it came over and licked Jason's face quickly before any of the others could see it.

Jason petted its side and hummed as he thought of a name. It was one of Jason's first-ever subordinates, so he felt like he owed it the privilege of giving it a good name.

Finally, after a few seconds of thought, a perfect name came to Jason's mind.

"Fenrir. That'll be your name."

Jason grinned up at the now-named subordinate, and it released a loud howl into the sky before nuzzling against Jason's face again.

——

[Fenrir]

[Moonlight Wolf]

[Rook Rank I]

[Hierarchy Level: 1 [50.5%]]

[Subordinate Count: 10/10]

[Upgrade Points: 0/50]

[Upgrade Limit: Rook Rank III]

[MP: 2000]

——

Jason laughed at Fenrir's action, and Fenrir immediately jumped out of the way as Ragnar almost grabbed him into the fight that was still going on! Fenrir released a loud yip as it nimbly avoided Ragnar and Raya, and Jason couldn't help but think that it was laughing at the two of them.

At the side, Dino was trying its best to crawl away from them before they could drag it back into the fight, and Jason finally told them all to relax. They were going to cause an earthquake if they kept acting like this.

Raya screeched up at Ragnar one final time, and Ragnar released a puff of smoke at her face before turning back to Jason and lying on the ground so that its snout was right in front of him. Jason put one hand on Ragnar's snout and patted it gently.

'Good boy.'

Ragnar huffed happily.

Jason's mind was still whirling with the possibilities as he looked at the little dragon. Having a creature like this in his arsenal was huge for him. Not only would it be useful in a massive fight, but it would also be useful for dealing with multiple enemies at the same time since it had an emitter-type skill.

Ragnar began to flap its wings happily as Jason kept petting it, and massive gale wings blew around the area, making Jason put his hand up to his face slightly.

Finally, after a few seconds, the dragon stopped, and Jason patted it on the snout again before turning and telling one of the Adamantine Ant Soldiers to go and fetch the magical crystal inside the monster's carcass.

'I think I'll also take the carcass with me. There's no way Dragon skin and bone won't be worth something."

[Dragon remains are a precious commodity amongst the higher aristocrats both on Earth and in the Primordial Expanse. Should the user sell it, it will fetch the user a substantial sum.]

Jason chuckled. He liked the way this system thought! Jason had already been planning on taking the carcass back with him since he remembered the system saying something about dragon parts being very valuable! The system told Jason a long time ago that he could only put non-living things into this Alternate Dimension, so he wasn't worried about how he would take it along!

The ant reached the carcass and tried to pry the body open to take out the crystal, but Jason heard a loud crack echo through the region as the ant's mandibles broke on the dragon's skin.

Even though Ragnar was only a child, it was still a dragon, so creatures that were weaker than it wouldn't even be able to break through its tough skin. Jason had to tell Raya to go and handle the collection since she was the one who put Ragnar down, and Raya screeched happily before rushing toward the carcass. For a moment, Jason could almost hear Raya laughing maniacally as she tore open Ragnar's previous body. It was obvious that she was still pissed at Ragnar for the fight they had.

It didn't take long for Raya to find the large magical crystal in the dragon's chest, but once she tried to take it out, she let out a loud shout when it burned her, and she immediately dropped it to the ground! The crystal began to melt through the soil, and Jason quickly put his hand out toward the dragon and opened his Alternate Dimension underneath its body to allow it to fall into the parallel world along with the crystal.

"Fucking hell. What the hell was that?"

Jason furrowed his brow as he waited to see if there would be any reaction from the crystal inside his Alternate Dimension, and he finally sighed when he realized that nothing would happen. Were all dragon crystals that hot? It almost killed Raya.

Jason turned to Raya and saw that she was nursing her burnt mandibles and scratching them with her legs. A few seconds passed before the wound closed up, and Jason mentally consoled her and told her to go rest inside the Alternate Dimension.

'How in the world am I going to eat that?'

Jason frowned as this thought passed through his mind. Jason had no desire to sell the Dragon Crystal since he knew that it would be very useful for him. Selling it might make him a couple of million dollars, but eating it would literally make him a dragon. He wasn't passing up that opportunity for anything!

But the issue now was the fact that Raya had a higher durability than him. If the crystal burnt Raya, then it would definitely burn him too. The only option he had was to use the buffs from his [ExoSkeleton Armor] skill to try and negate the burns. But wouldn't it just burn through his stomach? Jason was not exactly keen on having his stomach hollowed out by fire.

[The user's Avarian genome has strengthened the user's digestive tract and ensured that it is capable of negating the effects of any poison, debuff, elemental attack, or alchemy that enters the user's stomach. This is common with the Avarian race and it is done to ensure they are capable of consuming Magic Crystals freely. The user does not need to worry about having his stomach 'hollowed out'.]

Jason hummed as a smile bloomed on his face. That was perfect! Now all he had to do was prevent the crystal from burning him on the outside. Once he ingested it, he didn't have to worry anymore.

Jason activated his [Exoskeletal Armor] and then used his [Mana Frenzy] to boost his stats by a hundred percent. His mana immediately began to drop significantly, but he ignored it as he opened his Alternate Dimension and summoned the crystal into his hand.

Sizzle~!

The crystal immediately began to sizzle the moment it dropped into Jason's hand, and Jason grimaced. But he bore with the slight burning sensation, and the pain eventually faded until it was barely noticeable. That meant that he would bear the heat with this much protection at least. The crystal was as large as a basketball with a pulsing red glow shining from inside. When Jason looked closely, he could tell that the glow on the inside looked similar to lava.

Jason turned to Ragnar and raised the crystal to him before ordering him to break it into pieces. Ragnar tilted his head to one side like a confused puppy, and Jason told him to bite it really hard! Ragnar finally leaned down and grabbed the crystal in his mouth before biting hard!

Crack!

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC86: The Dragonsteel Sword

Chapter 86: The Dragonsteel Sword

Crack!

The crystal suffered a major fracture before it broke into more than ten pieces and fell all around Jason. The pieces all began to melt into the ground and Jason hurried to grab all of them before they would melt through.

Jason looked at the crystals and sighed. He remembered when he was a kid and how his mother always told him not to put everything he saw into his mouth. But look at him now. His mother would kill him if she knew what he was doing!

Jason laughed at that thought before he started to consume the crystal pieces.

Jason grinned widely at the system's message as he used a finger to get some of the crystal out of his teeth. Finally! He had been looking forward to reaching S rank since he first got into this place and if not for the dragon, Jason was sure that it would take another Orange Gate Dive before he finally got to S Rank!

Jason put his hand over his chest as he felt a slight heat in there and he figured that it had to do with the Emberstorm skill getting stronger. Just like the system said, once Jason swallowed the crystal, he didn't feel any discomfort at all. In fact, it felt like just any other meal that he had eaten. There was no pain at all.

Jason finally deactivated his [Mana Frenzy] and [Exo-skeletal Armor] skills and he returned to his regular attire. He turned to the body of the Dragonrider that was still lying on the ground and Jason told his Legion to take out the Dragonrider's crystal as well as the sword that the Dragonrider had been using and bring it to him. A large Pawn rank III ant went to grab the crystal out of the Dragonrider's chest and Jason grimaced a little when he watched the ant tear into the man's heart. Jason wasn't affected when watching the ants tear into the bodies of beasts, but since the Dragonrider was a humanoid creature, it was a lot more disturbing.

Jason just shook his head as he told himself to get over it. It wasn't like he was afraid of blood or violence and with the path waiting for him in the future, he would be fighting many more humanoid creatures. So he had to get used to it.

Jason grabbed the crystal and threw it in his mouth to chew it.

Jason sighed absentmindedly as he looked down at the Dragonrider's sword. The subordinate replica of the Dragonrider came with its own sword, so the original sword was still in perfect condition. Jason turned the sword over and hummed in surprise when he realized how light it was. Jason thought it would be a lot heavier, but it was almost weightless in his hand. Was it because he was stronger than the man? That was possible since the Dragonrider was only a B Rank, but Jason was an S Rank.

Jason shrugged before he used [Appraisal] on the weapon.

——

Common Dragonsteel Sword

Rank: A

Durability: 85%

Boosts: +10% Strength

Description: A common weapon forged from low-quality dragonsteel and native to the people of Radagan. The dragonsteel sword is known for its high magic affinity, and most dragonborn fighters send their mana through their sword and set it ablaze before going into battle.

——

'Dragonsteel. That sounds like something straight out of a fantasy novel. Like Game of Thrones.'

Jason gained a smile when he saw the name of the sword. He swiped the sword across the air a couple of times and created silver streaks before twirling it around in his hand, but he suddenly grunted when the sword fell from his palm after he lost control of it. Jason laughed and picked it up.

Even though he was superhuman now, that didn't mean that he was suddenly an expert in handling weapons. The only reason why he was so good at handling daggers was because he was used to using knives both in the kitchen and in fights. But swords, arrows, and other weapons were completely foreign to him.

'I'll try to gain a sword-based skill from one of my subordinates one day. If I don't, then I can just learn how to use it. It might be difficult, but I have the system. I'm sure it'll make things easier.'

Jason nodded to himself as he looked at the sword closely. The sword was gleaming brilliant silver and had a long black line running down its center. The hilt was made from bronze and there was a lot of wear and tear on it that showed it was constantly being used by its previous wielder.

Jason decided that he would like to try something and he immediately activated a skill.

[Blazing Embers] has been activated!

Woosh!

Jason held the sword a little bit further away from him as he watched the entire blade erupt in a massive plume of fire! The flames surrounded the sword perfectly and created an aura of yellow and red that threatened to burn anyone who came close. Most of it stuck towards the edge of the blade and provided extra sharpness for when you were cutting your enemies, but there was enough fire at the center of the blade as well that would prevent anyone from trying to use their hands to parry your weapon in the middle of a fight.

'This will be useful against mobs, but I don't think it'll do any damage to anything stronger than C Rank. Maybe I should give it to a craftsman to try and make it stronger. No, that wouldn't work. I don't think any craftsman on earth would even know what to do with dragonsteel.'

Jason narrowed his eyes slightly before he put his hand over the fire. The fire was warm, but there was no sensation of pain at all from it. Jason took it one step further and put his hand into the flames and he huffed when he still didn't feel anything serious.

Jason thought that it was because the weapon was weak, but it was actually a combination of the fact that he was far stronger than the weapon, along with the fact that he already possessed some Dragon-based genetics that provided a small protection against fire-based attacks. Jason was just far too strong to be affected by a mere D Rank skill.

Jason deactivated the skill and put the sword away in his Alternate Dimension. He was going to either learn how to use the weapon or sell it off. A sword this well made would go for a few hundred thousand dollars on earth, so Jason would figure out what to do with it when he gets back.

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC87: Training Exercise

Chapter 87: Training Exercise

Jason turned to his dragon once again, and that feeling of excitement that he felt when he first saw it slowly bubbled up from inside him. Jason put his hand over his chin as a grin slowly began to form, and for a moment he thought about how amazing it would be to ride on the dragon's back.

'I need to get back already, it should be nighttime back home and I need to meet with Mum. She said she wanted to talk to me about Janet, right? But this is a dragon! It's a freaking dragon! I'm sure Mum will understand if I'm a bit late, right!? Who can say no to a dragon!?'

Even though Jason was very mature for his age, there was no denying that he was a teenage male at that moment as his desire to ride a dragon overrode everything else in his mind! Jason decided that it wouldn't be the end of the world if he was a little late to a meeting with his Mum, and he immediately told Ragnar to lower itself, and he jumped up onto its back!

Ragnar released a roar of excitement as it felt Jason's eagerness and Jason's grin widened as he shouted,

"Let's go!"

ROARRRR!!

Ragnar released another loud roar before beating its wings and blasting off the ground!

——

[Riverdale]

[Headquarters of the C Rank Panthers guild.]

BOOM!

A massive explosion went off inside a large training room as a man unleashed a ball of fire! The man ran to the side immediately after unleashing the ball, and in his hand, two more balls of fire formed as he kept his eyes trained on the figure opposite him! The room they were in was large with white walls and a tall ceiling. It was made from a very strong metal that allowed superhumans to use their abilities and train without holding back!

The man with the fireballs in his hand was named Randy. He had short black hair and narrowed dark eyes, and he was wearing cargo pants and a loose top that would allow him to move around easily.

He was a C Rank superhuman who had more than ten Red Gate dives under his belt! He was a member of the Panthers guild and had been a part of it for the better part of five years now! Randy awakened as a D Rank six years ago, and it was only through sheer hard work that he was able to build himself up to becoming one of the most powerful members of the guild! Everyone trusted him, and he was seen as the most likely to take over from the guild leader when he retired! In fact, they were already talking about him becoming the next vice leader of the guild since his power had already grown beyond that of the current vice leader!

Randy knew about all the things they had been saying, and on the outside, he always kept up a smile and tried his best to make people think that their words weren't affecting him at all, but on the inside, he allowed their words to feed his already inflated ego! As the only superhuman in his family and the current breadwinner, Randy was the king of his own small world! Nowadays, he was highly respected by everyone both in his family and in the guild, and he treated the people around him like they were lessers because he knew that he was stronger than all of them!

But all of those fantasies that Randy had built for himself were beginning to crack at the edge and break into pieces!

'How in the world did she get this strong!?'

WOOSH!

A massive gale of wind erupted from the figure standing opposite Randy and the smoke from his explosion dispersed into nothing immediately! Randy narrowed his eyes in anger at the woman standing there, and he immediately stopped moving as he saw her take aim and unleash three blasts of wind in his direction!

TWOOM!

The wind shot forward like bullets and it was only Randy's natural athleticism as a superhuman that prevented him from being eviscerated on the spot! Randy twirled around one of them and he ducked low and moved out of the way to allow the other two to sail past! The wind bullets slammed into the wall opposite Randy and left small dents in the wall, and Randy cursed as he increased the power output to the ball of fire in his hand and chucked them towards the woman!

The fireballs flew straight for her, and Randy was shocked when he saw her create two large arrows from the wind and send them straight at the fireballs! Was she trying to nullify his skill with her own!? How cocky can she get!? Randy watched as the arrows of wind slammed into his fireballs and the fireballs didn't even manage to go off before they were extinguished like nothing!

Randy's anger soared as his teeth clenched in anger, and he immediately created two more fireballs and sent them after the woman! He created another two, and then two more fireballs on top of that and sent them forward so that there were six fireballs in all! Randy knew that he could easily hurt her if he went too far. This was just a training exercise, so they were told not to do anything that would cause any damage, but Randy's pride wouldn't allow him to be shown up by this bitch!

Randy watched with bated breath as the fireballs headed for the woman, and he was shocked when the woman suddenly dashed to the side! His grin widened as his balls followed after her, and he almost laughed when he thought that she was running away! Randy's gift allowed him to create tracing fireballs. The fireballs would lock onto a target and follow after them until they impacted the target or anything else in between! This was one of the reasons why he was so highly regarded in the Panthers guild.

If you had him in your team during a Red Gate dive, then you could be sure that you would easily clear the Gate!

Randy got ready to finish off the woman since she was running away, but he felt his eyes widen when she created seven arrows from the wind and sent them in his direction! Six of the arrows slammed into the fireballs, causing a massive explosion to echo through the training room, and the seventh arrow immediately headed for him!

Randy realized that she hadn't been running away at all! She had just been shifting her weight to one side so that she would have enough room to send an arrow at him as well! Randy was shocked! He knew just how strong this woman had been the last time they fought! She usually struggled to create more than five arrows at any one time and he thought that the six fireballs would be able to overwhelm her! But now she was not only creating seven arrows, but she was creating seven arrows that were all more powerful than they had ever been!

Randy rushed to try and create a new fireball to nullify the arrow coming for him! But the shock he was experiencing at that time prevented him from reacting quickly enough, and when he created the fireball and threw it forward, the arrow was already right in front of him!

The arrow and the fireball slammed into each other and a massive explosion occurred right in front of Randy!

BOOM!

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC88: The Vice-Captain

Chapter 88: The Vice-Captain

The arrow and the fireball slammed into each other, and a massive explosion occurred right in front of Randy!

BOOM!

Randy was thrown back by the explosion, and he slammed into the wall behind him! He let out a cough as some smoke got into his mouth, and he snarled in anger as he looked up to see the woman standing there nonchalantly and looking down at him. How dare you!?

"You fucking bit—!"

"That's enough! The winner of the duel is Gina Fey!"

A voice shouted from the side, and Randy turned to see the vice-captain of the Panthers guild, a woman in her mid-twenties with short blond hair and an impressive, toned figure. Her eyes were a piercing green, and her face was very mature, making it difficult for anyone to stand up to her glare. She had offered to stand in as the referee for this fight, and she was just as shocked at the massive improvement she noticed in Gina.

Gina had not been this strong the last time they trained, and in their last fight, Randy was able to overwhelm her and defeat her because she didn't have the ability to make more than five arrows. The fact that she had grown this quickly was astonishing!

The vice-captain would have loved to keep the fight going so that she could see what else Gina could do, but she could see the anger in Randy's eyes, and she knew that if she allowed the fight to go on, then he would do something that might actually hurt Gina. Randy was also stronger than what he had shown here, and the only reason he was this overwhelmed was because he never expected Gina to grow this quickly. It was a battle that he was never going to win from the start.

"This is bullshit! Why did you end it already!? We were just getting started!"

Randy shouted in anger when the vice-captain ended the match! He was about to really get serious, and the vice-captain just ended it like that!? It wasn't fair!

This was the first time that Randy would be losing a fight to anyone in the Panthers guild other than the leader. Even the vice-captain hadn't ever beaten him before, so he was undeniably pissed! But the vice-captain just narrowed her eyes into a thin line, and Randy felt his anger bleeding away at the intense look in her gaze.

"I said the fight is over, Randy. Hit the showers. You can have another mock battle tomorrow."

Randy grit his teeth in annoyance before turning to give Gina a heavy glare. Gina was just standing there and looking at him innocently, and Randy had never hated a person in his life more than he did at that moment. This bitch was going to get what was coming to her. He swore it!

Randy turned away with a growl while swearing under his breath and left to get a shower. Once he was gone, Gina finally released a sigh of relief, and her face broke into a happy smile! She couldn't believe she won!

'How did I get this strong?'

Even Gina was shocked at the sudden increase in strength that she could feel! It was like her mana was suddenly listening to her every order, and she wasn't wasting a single bit of control compared to before! Gina tried to think back and see if there was anything that made her suddenly have such power, but no matter how hard she thought about it, she just couldn't think of anything.

"That was impressive, Gina. I always knew you had it in you."

The vice-captain of the guild came up to Gina after Randy had left and spoke with a wide smile on her face. Gina gave the woman a smile in return and thanked her for her kind words. The vice-captain's name was Jane, and she was a brawler-type superhuman who could reinforce her body with rocks to increase her strength. She was also a C-rank superhuman, but at that moment, the vice-captain knew that both Randy and Gina were far stronger than her.

In truth, the only reason why the vice-captain was still the vice-captain was because she was married to the leader of the guild, and the other members of the guild respected her. There had already been a lot of rumors going around that one of the stronger members of the guild deserved to be the vice-captain, and Jane was already prepared to step down since she knew that keeping her position would only lead to more problems for the guild.

She couldn't use nepotism to hold onto something like this when she knew that there were others better suited for the position.

"Thank you, ma'am. I just... tried my best."

Gina still didn't know how to explain what had happened, so she decided that it would be best to just roll with it. Besides, she wasn't lying when she said that she did her best. She always wanted to beat Randy, and she tried her best to do that. It was just surprising that it actually worked.

Jane smiled at Gina's humility. Jane had been planning to step down for a while now, and the one person that Jane wanted to give the position of vice-captain to was Gina. Other than her husband and Randy, Gina was the strongest member of the Panthers guild, and her ability to support any team from the rear with her wind arrows was unmatched.

Everybody else wanted Randy to be the vice-captain, but even though the rest of the guild couldn't see the twisted nature that Randy had, Jane could easily read him like a book. The smiles and kind words that Randy gave out were just an act that he was putting on to make others like him more. Jane knew that Randy was really just a narcissistic bastard and was more likely to use his position of power to oppress others than to boost the guild.

It was because of this one reason that Jane was still holding onto the position, just so that she could keep it away from him. But now that Jane was certain that Gina was this strong, she felt like she could finally hand over her mantle.

"I'm glad that you're finally growing into what I always knew you could be. But it's surprising. You weren't able to make more than five arrows the last time I saw you, and you weren't outputting this much power with each one. Did something happen to you recently?"

Jane was still curious about what made Gina so powerful, but Gina just shook her head and said that she just tried her best again. Gina couldn't explain it even if she wanted to, and Jane could see that Gina was serious.

Jane smiled before she decided to change the topic.

"I've actually been meaning to talk to you recently about something. It's pretty serious, so please consider it properly, okay? My husband and I have been thinking of giving you the position of vice-captain."

Gina blinked in surprise when she heard this, and a happy feeling surged from inside her when she realized what this implied! Everyone in the guild had been talking about there being a new vice-captain, and Gina had never put any thought into it because everyone always said it was going to be Randy! The fact that she was being considered for the role meant there was a chance she would get it too!

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC89: It Should Be A Crime

Chapter 89: It Should Be A Crime The fact that Gina was being considered for the vice-captain role meant there was a chance she would get it too! This could not only increase the amount of time she goes into Gates, but it would also increase her salary and benefits within the guild! Gina's happiness was obvious, and Jane smiled at this, but what Jane said next made Gina's smile dim.

"We are still considering you, but we have also been looking into our recent earnings and the guild has really been struggling financially. With the recent increase in the number of Gates, the SMD will likely start to give more Red Gate contracts to the lower guilds, but our guild doesn't have much chance of beating the other C Rank guilds since our leader is only a high-level C Rank. The guilds with B Rank leaders are more likely to get contracts over ours. So we were talking and we remembered that a friend of yours recently got an awakening. I think his name was Jason. I know this might come off as presumptuous, but we were wondering if you wouldn't mind asking him to join our guild."

As Jane spoke, Gina's smile faded more and more until it was barely straining on her face. She was looking at Jane with a look of slight confusion, and it wasn't long before the look turned to exasperation. Gina always knew that this conversation would happen. It was impossible for the guild to have seen what happened with Jason and not bring it up.

Gina never hid her relationship with Jason in the past. Almost every woman in the guild knew that Gina had a male friend she spoke about all the time, and the males knew better than to ask Gina out because she would always turn them down.

So once Jason awakened, Gina knew the guild would try to make her talk to him about joining. That was the reason why Gina brought it up earlier with Jason. She wanted to know Jason's stance on things before anything else, and she wanted to make sure she knew what to say to her superiors whenever they asked.

But Gina wasn't disappointed by the fact that they asked her to invite Jason over. Instead, Gina was disappointed in the fact that they were trying to use her promotion as some sort of chain to tie Jason to this guild. What they were doing now was nothing short of emotional manipulation. They were trying to make Gina consider bringing Jason into the guild just so that she could get a promotion.

At that moment, Gina felt an incredible amount of anger filling her heart for the entire guild! If they had asked her to talk to Jason without using her promotion as a chain, then she wouldn't have minded at all, and everything would have been okay! But she hated anyone trying to use her to get to Jason! It made her sick!

Gina gave Jane a hard stare and spoke in a no-nonsense tone.

"Sorry ma'am, but Jason isn't interested in joining any guilds right now."

Jane blinked in surprise at the hard tone that Gina used with her. Just a moment ago Gina had been smiling happily, but now Gina looked like she was ready to walk away at a moment's notice. Jane immediately realized that she had done something wrong and it didn't take long before she recognized how Gina had interpreted her previous statement!

"Wait, we aren't trying to make you bring him in just for the promotion! I simply wanted you to help us talk to him! Whether he comes in or not won't affect your promotion in any way."

Jane immediately tried to explain what she meant, but Gina didn't care anymore. Gina knew that Jane might not have meant it directly, but there was no way Jane didn't know how her words would be seen. Jane had tried to manipulate her and Gina was no longer interested in hearing more about this.

"Yes, I understand ma'am. I'm sorry, but can I be excused? I need to get home quickly since it's Jason's birthday today."

Gina turned around to leave and Jane sighed tiredly. She had really fucked that up.

——

Gina came out of the shower in the ladies changing room a few minutes later. Her hourglass figure was covered with a short white towel that couldn't fully contain her round behind and allowed some of it to peek through from beneath. There was some cleavage showing from the top of the towel and the other women in the changing room couldn't help but look at Gina in envy when they saw how well she filled out that towel.

"Look at those breasts. They're huge."

"How don't they sag? Shouldn't they have some sag when they're that large?"

"It's like we're two different species. I don't even want to look at her anymore. Fuck."

"Shh, she might hear you. Don't you know she might be the new vice-captain?"

"I heard she beat Randy today. Some of the others were talking about the vice-captain position. Do you think they'll really give it to her?"

"I think they'll give it to Randy. He's a nice guy and he's strong."

"Yeah, but Gina is stronger."

"One battle doesn't change anything. Have some sense."

Gina was drying her red hair with a towel while ignoring the comments from the other women. Women were naturally jealous of one another, so Gina didn't really mind the things that others were saying since she was already used to hearing them and she just smiled at one of her friends who was also changing. They had all been training throughout the day since there would be a new mission that week, so they were really tired from the long day.

"You should be arrested for looking that good in a towel. I'm going to find out how your boobs grew to be that big one day, I promise you."

Gina's friend, a short brunette with small boobs and a thin waist, looked on in envy as Gina opened her locker and took her things. Gina just laughed at her friend's words as she sat down to put on her stocking. Her friend was always saying that Gina was far too sexy but and Gina just didn't allow her words to get to her.

"If you find the secret then let me know too. I don't really do anything."

Gina said this with a laugh and her friend just sighed before changing the topic.

"Heard you beat up Randy today. Can't believe someone finally defeated him. I was starting to think he would never go down."

Randy was seen as the most undefeatable member of the Panthers because of how powerful he was, so there were a lot of people who thought that he just continue his unbeaten run forever.

Gina shrugged. It was already common knowledge that she beat Randy and she was just enjoying the praises while trying to think about how in the world she managed to get this much stronger. The answer was still not obvious to her, so she would have to think about it for a little longer.

"I just got lucky. He wasn't expecting me to come at him that hard."

Gina answered while putting some lotion on her fair skin and her friend just shook her head.

"No, you beat him fair and square. In a fight, it doesn't matter if you're prepared or not, what matters is who wins."

Gina hummed before she smiled. Her friend was definitely right. Gina had won and that was all that mattered.

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC90: A Chance Encounter

Chapter 90: A Chance Encounter

Thinking about the fight with Randy made her mind travel to the conversation she had with Jane, and she frowned when she remembered how Jane wanted to use her to get to Jason. Gina hadn't even been looking forward to the promotion at all since she thought that Randy would be getting it, but the short moment of joy that she felt when she realized that she might be getting it was ruined by Jane.

Right now, Gina wasn't sure if she wanted the promotion or not anymore. Were they going to give her the promotion because she earned it, or was it just going to be because they wanted to get closer to Jason somehow? Gina sighed internally and decided not to think about it. She would first see how things go before she made a decision.

Gina's friend finally brought up the one topic that Gina wasn't keen on addressing.

"So, your boyfriend awakened as a superhuman? I've been hearing on the news that he might be the strongest awakener since the Five Rulers. I can't imagine how lucky he was to awaken just after entering a Gate. He could've died."

Gina's eyes darkened at that thought, and her friend immediately knew she had said the wrong thing. Jason dying was the last thing Gina wanted to think about. Gina's friend immediately changed the topic.

"So what happened after he came back alive?"

Gina shrugged and she laughed softly when she heard her friend sigh.

"You're always so tight-lipped about Mr. Young, buff and handsome. I've known you for five years and you've only shown me his picture! You haven't even told me a single thing about him! The only thing I know is that you're childhood friends and you've been in love with him forever. I'm sure you won't even say a thing if you two finally get together."

A small blush rose on Gina's cheeks once she heard this as her mind traveled back to the previous night and how long they were having sex! Gina's friend felt her eyes widen in shock as her brow rose astronomically! There was no way! There was no fucking way!

"You two finally did it!?"

She shouted loudly, and Gina put her hand to her friend's mouth and told her to shut it!

"Don't announce it to everyone, dammit! What's wrong with you!?"

Gina's friend wasn't even listening to her as she laughed happily! Her shoulders were moving from left to right in a happy dance, and she clapped her hands together as she pushed Gina's hand away and spoke with a perverted grin!

"You have to tell me everything! Everything! Where!? When!? How!? Who made the first move!? What did you do!? How big is he!?"

Gina's blush increased when she heard all the vulgar questions, and she shook her head with a laugh as she finally put on her trousers and singlet before throwing on her top.

"Look, it just happened, okay? We were talking late last night and it just happened. We're in a great place right now and I think... I think we're together-together. It's going so well that it's almost like a dream, so I'm trying to take it slow and make sure not to ruin it."

Gina put her hands over her cheeks to try and stop the blush from rising. Her bright red hair framed her face like a waterfall of roses, and she was staring at the space in front of her with a faraway look and a bright smile. Her friend couldn't help but smile once she saw how much love there was in Gina's eyes. There was no doubt that Gina was hopelessly in love with this guy. This wasn't one of those things where you just had sex and the love faded afterward.

It was almost like Gina fell more in love with him after they had finally done it.

Gina's friend sighed tiredly while lamenting her own lack of a love life. She was happy for her friend, but she couldn't help but feel a little jealous of such pure love.

Ring~! Ring~! Ring~!

Gina's phone suddenly rang, and Gina blinked back to reality before reaching for it. She checked the caller ID, and her smile widened when she saw that it was Jason.

"Hey!"

Gina answered enthusiastically, and Jason smiled from the other side of the phone when he heard how excited she was to talk to him. He spoke calmly.

[Hey, babe. I kinda need your help.]

Gina's brow furrowed in surprise before she asked Jason what was wrong. Did something happen!?

[No, no, it's nothing bad. It's just... hard to explain. Can you come pick me up in New York? I'm at the subway entrance.]

"What? What in the world are you doing all the way over there!?"

Gina spoke up in shock as she stood up and immediately began to reach for her bag and keys. She told her friend that she had to go, and her friend just waved her goodbye as she watched Gina leave the room.

[I'll explain everything once you get here.]

"Alright, I'm on my way!"

[Thanks, babe.]

A blush rose on Gina's cheek when she heard Jason call her babe, and she had to force it back down as she hurried out of the building! She just hoped that Jason wasn't lying and there was really no problem!

As Gina made her way out of the changing room, she suddenly ran into a woman who was walking in the opposite direction. The woman was dressed in a formal dress suit. She had pure white hair that would make anyone stop and stare, cut into a short bob, and even with the suit she was wearing, her athletic figure was very obvious! She had piercing blue eyes that were narrowed into a permanent glare and her face was set into a stoic look.

Gina immediately apologized for hitting her.

"I'm really sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going!"

The woman's stoic face split into a small smile, and for some reason, Gina felt more afraid of that smile than anything she had ever seen in her life. It terrified her even more than the monsters she had fought.

The woman put her hands in her pocket and shook her head.

"Not at all, I wasn't watching where I was going either. You are Gina Fey, if I'm not mistaken. I was wondering if I could speak to you personally."

Gina's brow furrowed as she realized that this interaction wasn't a coincidence at all. The woman in front of her had been waiting to bump into her. Gina shook her head as she took a step away since she was in a hurry to meet Jason.

"Sorry, but my boyfriend needs my help with something. Maybe we can talk later?"

The white-haired woman smiled once more before reaching into her pocket and producing a pure white business card.

"When you're free, please call this number. I'll be expecting the call."

Gina took the card and turned it over to read what was on it, and her eyes immediately widened in shock once she saw the large SMD logo printed on it! This woman was a part of the SMD!? Gina swallowed in shock before she gave the woman a more respectful nod and thanked her for understanding before she quickly turned to leave. Gina was in a hurry to meet with Jason, but she also wanted to get as far away from the white-haired woman as possible!

Once Gina left, a voice called out to the white-haired woman from down the hall.

"Madam Agiel! I thought I lost you for a moment there! The meeting room is this way!"

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC91: Who is That?

Chapter 91: Who is That?

A voice called out to the white-haired woman from down the hall.

"Madam Agiel! I thought I lost you for a moment there! The meeting room is this way!"

The guild leader of the Panthers guild was a man named Patrick. He was a tall, lanky man with brown hair and kind black eyes. He walked up to the white-haired woman quickly and tried to direct her in the opposite direction! Patrick hadn't expected anyone from the SMD to visit them this suddenly, so he was trying to make sure he did everything to make her comfortable.

Agiel's face immediately fell back into her stoic expression once she heard her name being called, and she turned around and began to walk without regarding the guild leader at all.

Patrick coughed into his hand and began to follow behind Madam Agiel with a nervousness that almost made him look like a rabbit standing beside a lion.

"W-We weren't expecting to be visited by the SMD today. W-We hope there aren't any issues. If you want to take a look at our records, then I won't mind providing everything that you need. I can assure you that everything is perfectly clean! In fact, there hasn't been a single failed audit since—"

"Quiet."

Patrick's mouth immediately clamped shut as he felt Madam Agiel's piercing gaze fix itself on him. He could feel his heart race pick up as her eyes remained on him for a few seconds, and if not for the fact that he couldn't feel any mana in the room, he would have sworn that she was trying to crush him with her power!

Madam Agiel clicked her tongue in irritation at the weak display from the man before she turned away from the meeting room and began to walk to the exit.

'Fucking sheep.'

——

[New York Subway]

'I probably look like a kidnapper.'

This thought passed through Jason's mind as he sat on a bench a few paces away from the New York subway. The bench was hidden behind a wall so that the people coming out from the subway wouldn't see him, but there was no way to completely hide from the crowd, so one or two people who passed the corridor would see Jason sitting there.

Jason was wearing his facecap with his head lowered, and beside him, the Dragonborn princess was sitting with her head on his shoulder. There was a mask on her face that prevented anyone from seeing the scales on her cheek, and anyone who was just glancing at them would think that she was simply sleeping on his shoulder. But Jason couldn't help but think that one or two people would suspect him as a kidnapper and call the police.

The Dragonborn princess was a living person, so there was no way Jason could put her in his Alternate Dimension, which meant he had to bring her to Earth the way she was. Jason was just grateful that he bought the mask earlier. He had no idea how people would react if they knew that this woman was not from this world.

But even though Jason was a bit tense about the whole situation, he shouldn't have been worried since no one around was paying much mind. The people of New York were always busy, especially those moving through the subway, and they had seen much weirder stuff than a woman resting her head on a man's shoulder.

In fact, the people around were so nonchalant about the things that were happening around them that all of them were ignoring the three men who were lying on the ground and sleeping with newspapers covering their heads. Jason turned to those men curiously and he felt a complicated smile spread on his face.

Jason had never seen something like this while in Riverdale, so this was just a bit shocking to him. The amount of drunk or unconscious people he had run into in the past few minutes alone was more than what he had seen in Riverdale all month. It was almost like the people of New York were just perpetually drunk.

Jason chuckled at that analogy before he relaxed back in his seat to try and get some rest. Jason didn't know it, but the reason why he was being left alone wasn't just because the people of New York were nonchalant. But there was a sort of aura that he was releasing now that he had finally become an S rank. This aura was unrecognizable for regular humans, but it was more than enough to make them feel like they were in danger and keep them away.

If any superhumans saw Jason sitting there, they would immediately be able to tell that they were looking at someone who was far stronger than the average superhuman. Even though he wasn't releasing any of his mana, Jason was incapable of hiding just how much power he had residing inside him.

Jason had gotten a call from Gina a few minutes ago saying that she was close already, so he simply pulled his cap down to cover his face and decided that he would just relax till then.

A few miles away from Jason, up on a building overlooking the New York cityscape, the agent who had been following Jason earlier in the day was watching him through a pair of binoculars with wide, shocked eyes. She couldn't believe what she was seeing here.

The agent still remembered how Jason's aura was before he disappeared into the subway. It was obvious that Jason had been strong then, but it wasn't enough to make her feel like she was in danger. But now, the agent felt like getting any closer to Jason would put her in serious danger! Jason's aura was completely different from what it felt like before!

'What in the world happened to him?'

The agent had gone through a lot since Jason disappeared six hours ago. Her superior was unbelievably angry at her for losing Jason, and she had been stuck at this subway going around in circles to try and catch any signs of him.

But after more than three hours of not finding anything while searching on the ground, she finally decided to take to the rooftops and try to see if she could pick him out in the crowd. But even with her added elevation, she still wasn't able to find him anywhere! If not for the fact that there was another agent watching Jason's house back in Riverdale, then she would have thought that Jason had gone back home without her knowing!

It was when she was actually about to give up and report back that there was no sign of him at all, that she saw Jason coming out from the subway and holding a girl in his hands. It was shocking for her to suddenly see him come out so nonchalantly, especially since she had scoured the length and breadth of that subway more than ten times without any sight of him!

But the agent released a small sigh as she decided not to allow her shocking events to get to her. She calibrated her binoculars and looked closer to try and see who the girl in his hands was. The agent couldn't see the girl's face since she was wearing a face mask, but the girl didn't look like Jason's girlfriend. Was Jason cheating on his girlfriend? Is that why he came to New York?

'No, that didn't make sense. He wouldn't have come to the subway to cheat on his girlfriend. He'd go to a hotel.'

But if he wasn't seeing this other girl, then who was she?

The agent was obviously curious, and she tried to see if she could pick out anything about the woman's identity by zooming in on her face. And it was only because of the fact that she zoomed in so much that the agent was able to pick out the scales that the woman had on her cheeks and hand when Jason shifted slightly. The agent's brow furrowed in shock as she pulled back from her binoculars! She blinked in surprise before she leaned forward again to get another look only to see that the scales were still there!

The agent immediately realized that the woman Jason was carrying wasn't human at all! She was an inter-world traveler!

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC92: Don't Do Anything!

Chapter 92: Don't Do Anything!

The agent's brow furrowed in shock as she pulled back from her binoculars! She blinked in surprise before she leaned forward again to get another look, only to see that the scales were still there!

The agent immediately realized that the woman Jason was carrying wasn't human at all! She was an inter-world traveler!

The agent immediately dropped everything and put a call through to her superior to inform her of what was going on! It would have been something small if Jason was only carrying a regular human, but the fact that he was carrying an inter-world traveler meant that he had not only entered a Gate, but he also made contact with someone from another world! This was a big deal!

[Please tell me you have some good news. And before you say anything, you should keep in mind that your job depends on it.]

This was the first thing the superior said to her when she picked up the call, and the woman felt a little bit of irritation fill her heart before she shook her head and got rid of it! She immediately spoke up in a low voice.

"Ma'am, I found Jason. He just arrived from the New York Subway. But there's a problem."

On the other end of the call, her superior sat up slowly with a sigh. She was happy when she heard the agent say that she found Jason, but it was never a good sign when she heard any of her agents say that there was a problem. It usually led to arrests and paperwork. Lots of paperwork.

[What is it? Did anyone die?]

The first thing that came to the superior's mind was that there had been a battle and people had been killed. If that was what happened, then they were going to be in even bigger trouble than she initially thought. Superhuman battles outside of Gates always ended badly. But what the agent said next actually turned out to be far worse than what she could have ever imagined.

"Jason Marc entered a Gate and made contact with an inter-world traveler. He brought her back to Earth, and they are together right now."

[What!?]

For a short moment, the superior actually lost all her sense of calmness as she stood from her desk! She paced in her office while running a hand over her face, and the agent could literally hear her mumbling to herself over the phone like a crazy person. Finally, the superior spoke up again.

[How in the world did this happen? Were there any signals for a Gate opening recently?]

"No, ma'am. I believe it might've been a Dimensional Tear that was still in its premature phase. That's why I wasn't able to find it earlier. The magic density was too small for our sensors to pick it up."

The superior cursed from the other side of the phone before she finally stood in one place and she began to think about what they were to do next. A human meeting with an inter-world traveler was something they had tried their best to prevent for a long time now, and Jason just running into one of them like this was way outside of their predictions. This could lead to problems they weren't ready to handle yet.

The agent waited patiently as her superior thought about their next course of action. She looked through her binoculars again to make sure that Jason was still there before she spoke up with a small frown.

"Ma'am, Jason Marc is currently sitting on a bench at the subway entrance, and I believe he's waiting for someone to come pick him up. Should I... apprehend him before he leaves?"

[What? No! Don't even think about going close to him! Do you understand me!? If he finds out about our existence because of your impulsiveness, then that will be the end for you! Sigh~ I'll take this information to the higher-ups and they'll decide what to do with it. For now, you're to continue tailing him. Make sure that you don't let the inter-world traveler out of your sight. Do you understand?]

"Yes, ma'am."

The agent clicked the phone off with a frown before she stuck her tongue out at it childishly! She hated how her superior was always treating her like an idiot! Her idea wasn't a bad one at all, so why did she have to shoot it down like that!?

The agent sighed before turning back to where Jason was sitting. She looked through the binoculars and her brow furrowed when she saw a car pulling up beside Jason. She looked into the driver's seat and saw that it was his girlfriend, Gina Fey.

"That's one more person that knows about the inter-world traveler. I can already tell this is going to cause problems."

A further distance away, close to one kilometer behind the agent, a dark figure lay calmly on the top of a skyscraper and watched the agent with deep red eyes. The figure was lying in the shade of the building which prevented the moonlight from illuminating it and made it completely invisible to anyone who looked up the building.

The dark figure watched the agent closely, like a predator stalking prey, and the image in its sight was immediately transmitted back to Jason through the [Eye of the King].

Down on the ground in front of the subway, Jason let out a small laugh as he watched the agent through Fenrir's eyes. Jason had suspected that someone was keeping an eye on him for a while now, and he sent out Fenrir to survey the region and report back anything that it found. Jason recognized the woman as the same one who had been stalking him earlier, and he wondered what the hell she could want from him.

Jason was too far away to listen to the conversation that the agent just had, but he could tell that she was definitely working with someone. Was it some sort of organization? It could be that the SMD still didn't trust him and they sent the woman to keep an eye on him, or it could be that there was some other third-party organization that was trying to keep tabs on him for some reason. Jason didn't know the reason behind them watching him yet, and even though he didn't like it, he decided not to do anything about it for now. As far as the world was concerned, Jason was only an A Rank with an ocular ability that allowed him to see better than others. He wanted to keep things that way for the time being.

In a battle, it is best to pretend to be ignorant for as long as possible to allow your enemies to expose all their cards. Jason didn't have any problems with her watching him since it would allow him to keep his eye on her as well. But if she dared to step out of bounds, then they would have problems.

...

"Jason... why is there an unconscious woman in my backseat?"

Gina's hands tightened around her steering wheel as she said this, and her brow was raised high in surprise as she looked at the woman lying in the backseat through the rearview mirror. A feeling of both confusion and awe crossed through Gina's heart as she looked at the woman's face. Even with the face mask that the girl was wearing to hide her identity, there was no denying that the woman was extremely beautiful.

Gina turned to look at Jason and she felt her heart skip a beat unconsciously once she felt the power rolling off his body! What the hell happened to Jason while they were away from each other!? Gina still remembered how Jason's power felt this morning and she knew it was nowhere this intense! It felt like Jason was trying to crush everything around him with his presence alone!

Jason was sitting down in the front seat and waiting for Gina to start moving, but there were literally too many questions in Gina's head for her to even think about driving yet.

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC93: I Don't Understand Anything

Chapter 93: I Don't Understand Anything

Gina wanted to know what happened to Jason in the few hours since she last saw him. Who the hell this woman was. How Jason got her. Why she was unconscious and what the hell Jason was doing with her in the first place! And in the end, only one question could cover all those bases at the same time: why was the woman in her back seat?

Jason put on his seat belt with a small laugh and told Gina to just drive first.

"I'll explain as you drive. Let's get out of here."

Gina narrowed her eyes at Jason in slight curiosity, and for a moment she thought about not moving until Jason gave her an answer. But she finally sighed and decided to give Jason the benefit of the doubt. She trusted him enough to know that he would have a good enough explanation for all this.

"I just hope you didn't kidnap her."

Gina said this before starting the car, and Jason couldn't help but burst out in laughter! Gina smiled before turning out of the driveway and into the street. Gina already knew the road back to Riverdale by heart since she had been to New York many times in the past for her guild work, so she didn't bother putting all her attention on the road as she spoke up a few seconds later.

"So? What happened?"

Jason was leaning back on the car seat and he spoke up with a small smile.

"You really don't waste time, do you?"

"Jason..."

Jason laughed.

"Okay, fine. What do you want to know first?"

"Where did you find this woman? And why the hell are we taking her with us?"

Jason allowed his jovial expression to even out into a look of seriousness and he narrowed his eyes and stared ahead while talking.

"I found her when I was clearing out an orange gate."

Screech~!

For a split second, Gina lost control of the car when she heard what Jason just said, but she was sharp enough to catch the car and bring it back under her control before anything could happen! She turned to Jason with wide-eyed shock and told him to repeat that!

"You what!?"

"I was clearing out an orange gate and I saved her life."

"Jason... just sigh~ Just start from the beginning. Please. This is going right over my head. I can't really understand what you're telling me. What do you mean you went into an orange gate? There weren't any announcements on the SMD website. And you're saying you found her in there and brought her back? Doesn't that mean that she's a Magical Beast?"

Jason frowned. He knew that explaining things would be difficult. Especially since Gina had been a part of the superhuman world for far longer than he had. Gina had been working as a superhuman for the better part of five years now. She had close to twenty Gate Dives under her belt and a concrete understanding of Gates, Magical Crystals, and Magical Beasts.

If Jason told her the truth that his father had told him, then it would change a lot of the things that she thought were true. But he knew that he couldn't leave her in the dark, especially if he wanted her help with all of this.

"Alright. I need you to just listen to everything that I have to say. It'll sound crazy and you probably wouldn't believe any of it right away, but just listen, alright?"

Jason turned to look into Gina's eyes and Gina gave him a glance before she tightened her hand against the steering wheel and nodded to say that she was listening. Once Jason saw that, he started to explain what had happened.

"There's a lot more to the Gates than what the humans know. We all think that the gates were just random occurrences that appeared one day, but they aren't. The Gates were created by massive accumulation of mana in different places around the world, and the person who brought that mana to the world and created the first Gate is a creature from another world known as a Primordial. Wait—you said you would listen..."

Jason suddenly stopped Gina from talking when he saw her perk up. Her brow was furrowed and she looked like she had a million questions on her tongue, but she calmly relaxed when Jason told her to wait and she nodded.

"I don't know much about the Primordial, except that it is the reason why my father disappeared ten years ago, and its plan is to conquer Earth. When my father vanished, he left a present for me that would only activate when I came of age. That present was what activated my Gift and allowed me to survive in the Red Gate. And it was that present that allowed me to find a Dimensional Tear that would eventually open into an Orange Gate.

"I went into the Dimensional Tear and I carried out a Gate Dive with the monsters I collected from the Red Gate."

"Monsters? I thought you had just one?"

Jason grinned.

"I never said that."

"Yes, you did! You only showed me one monster!"

Jason shrugged. Just because he showed one monster didn't mean he had only one monster. Gina's cheeks grew red in an angry blush! She couldn't believe he was trying to play coy here!

"How many do you have then?"

"About four hundred."

"WHAT!?"

PIIIIII!!

A horn blared from somewhere in front of them and Gina immediately slammed her foot on the brake as she quickly parked at a junction! She let out a tired breath and Jason blinked in surprise as a truck passed in front of them with the driver giving them the middle finger. Gina immediately took her hand out and gave the driver a middle finger as well while shouting!

"There's a stop sign there, you idiot!"

The driver shouted something back in anger and Gina just ignored him and fell back on her seat! The sound of a police siren echoed through the area and Gina's mouth widened into a vindictive grin as she watched the policeman go after the truck!

Jason waited for her to catch her breath and he watched as she put her hair back in place and sighed before she gently began to move the car once more.

"You okay?"

Gina turned to Jason sharply!

"Really!? You're asking if I'm okay after what you just told me!? You have four hundred B-class monsters at your command and you're asking me if I'm okay!? This doesn't make any sense! And I heard from some of my colleagues that you told the SMD that you only had an Ocular ability! I don't understand anything and I don't like it!"

Gina was breathing heavily at the end of her rant and Jason simply weathered the intensity of her anger with a calm look on his face. He wasn't surprised that she was angry. In fact, he expected it. Gina had always had a very short fuse, so whenever they were together, he was the one who acted as the voice of reason to her intensity. But Jason also knew that Gina just needed time to comprehend everything that he had said, so he waited for a few seconds for her breathing to finally even out again before he spoke up.

"The reason I didn't tell you about it isn't because I don't trust you."

Chapter 94: This is Crazy

"The reason I didn't tell you about it isn't because I don't trust you."

"Then what is it?"

"I was just trying to look out for you. You're a part of my family, Gina, and I don't want a situation where knowing too much will ever put you in danger."

Gina's angry expression slowly faded as her hands loosened against the steering wheel, and she spoke up with a gentler tone.

"So what changed? Why are you telling me about it now?"

"Because all my cautions seemed to have been for nothing. It didn't matter that I hadn't told anyone about my abilities. For some reason, there are eyes on me already. Too many of them. And I also knew that there was no way you would accept my reason for being with this woman unless you knew the full story."

Gina released a small sigh from her nose. If it had been anyone else telling her all of this, then she would have called them mad and then kicked them out of her car for trying to lie to her. But if there was one thing she knew about Jason, it was that he didn't joke around when it came to her. He teases her a lot, and his sarcasm is second to none, but he knows when to be serious. And this was one of those moments.

Gina finally nodded.

"Alright, let's say I believe you. Who is this woman and where did you find her?"

"What do you know about the theory of many worlds?"

Gina groaned in suffering and banged her head against the steering wheel! She was going to have a fucking headache after all this! There was no doubt about it! It was already bad enough that Jason was telling her that he had a literal army of monsters just waiting to come out and fight for him, but he was also trying to say that there were multiple worlds out there and this woman had somehow come from one of those worlds!?

"She's an alien? Is that what you're trying to say? Like she's from a parallel world that has people living in it like Earth? When you called and said things were difficult to explain over the phone, you should've told me they were difficult to explain in person too. I don't even know if I can process all this!"

"But you believe me?"

Jason grinned and put a hand on Gina's thigh before squeezing it gently, and Gina turned to give him a loving smile before turning back to look at the road.

"Of course, I fucking believe you. If I can't trust you then I can't trust anyone in this world."

A smile easily spread on Jason's face and he took in a breath before he continued.

"The woman's name is Riyala and she's the princess of another world known as Radagan. The people there are called Dragonborn and the world experienced a war over who would be the next king. Riyala's family were attacked by an usurper, her mother and father both died, but she managed to escape and she somehow found her way through a Dimensional Tear and into the Orange Gate that I was clearing out. There was a man chasing her and one of his attacks knocked her out, but I dealt with him before he could kill her. Leaving her in the gate would just be the same as leaving her to die—"

"So you brought her with you."

Gina's eyes were narrowed in concentration as she listened to him, and Jason nodded that she was correct. Gina's mind was whirling as she tried to process all the foreign things that were suddenly being thrown at her. From the existence of a foreign world to this 'Dimensional Tear' that she had never heard about before. But when she heard the woman's full story, she felt a pang of pity in her heart for the princess.

Gina looked up into the rearview mirror again and she sighed. She honestly couldn't even be angry at Jason for what he did. The story she heard just now sounded far more serious than anything she had seen before, and she couldn't imagine someone going through something like that.

But the fact that the woman was a princess probably explained why Gina was in awe of her once she saw her. Even if she was a refugee, there was no way to properly hide the beauty that only a princess would possess. Gina laughed lightly. A dragon princess was lying in her backseat... Gina honestly never thought she would be able to see something like that. But for some reason, it didn't really surprise her as much as it would've ten years ago. After everything she had seen happening both inside and outside the Gates, the existence of multiple worlds wasn't that far-fetched.

"What are you going to do with her? We can't exactly integrate her into society. There's no way we won't be found out. And I don't know if the SMD will overlook something this serious. This is literally a woman from another world. It could be a felony for all we know."

"For now, I'm just going to take care of her till she wakes up. When she's no longer in danger, we'll figure out what to do."

Gina sighed as she nodded along. She trusted Jason, so she was sure that he wouldn't go into something like this without thinking it over. Gina didn't know what sort of crime it would be to harbor a creature from another world, but she wasn't really keen on finding out either. Once she woke up, they might have to send her on her way.

"So Uncle Richard left this power for you and went to fight against this 'Primordial', right? If what you're saying is correct, then I'm sure the Primordial is strong. But the only thing I remember Uncle Richard doing when he was still here was flipping burgers in the restaurant. He was pretty fit for his age, but I never saw him do anything that I would consider superhuman. How in the world is he going to fight them?"

Jason frowned. In truth, he didn't know either. He was sure that his father was strong, but he had no idea how strong he was or what sort of power he was going to use against the Primordials. All Jason knew was that his father was still alive and somewhere out there in the Primordial Expanse.

"Well, Dad isn't human, so I'm sure there's something up his sleeves. He wouldn't have left without knowing he could handle himself."

"Uncle Richard isn't human? That means you're...?"

Jason chuckled.

"Yeah, I'm not fully human."

Gina felt her breath leave her. Her boyfriend was an alien! And he was saying it so casually like it was no big deal! It was like they were talking about the plot of some movie rather than something real. And for some reason, Gina couldn't help but believe him.

"This is crazy. Do you know where you're from? What happened to your world? Is it like Superman where some global event destroyed your world? Wait... are you weak to kryptonite?"

"Hahaha, very funny. I'm just surprised at how easily you accepted all this. I expected you to call me crazy once I opened my mouth."

Jason said with a small smile and Gina glared at him.

"Of course, I think you're crazy. This is all crazy. But I trust you, so I'm willing to follow your lead even if it's crazy. I'm still mad at you for lying to me though!"

"Yeah, sorry about that. I was just trying to look out for you."

A small blush dusted Gina's cheeks and she huffed as she felt Jason squeeze her thigh again.

"You're lucky I love you. If you were anyone else, I would've kicked you out of this car the moment you started talking about multiple worlds."

Jason couldn't help but laugh at that.
