STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC172: Rupture
Chapter 172: Rupture
Jason was not going to mourn. Why did he need to mourn anything? It wasn't like Gina was dead. No, she wasn't dead at all. She was just... unconscious, for now. She was just sleeping. There was no doubt in Jason's mind that he was going to get Gina back no matter what, so he wasn't going to mourn for her.
Instead, there was only one thing that rang through Jason's thoughts over and over again. Jason had learned from the assassins he killed that they were not the only ones who came here. There was an entire group of them hiding within a Dimensional Tear parallel to Earth. Jason's next mission was to find that Dimensional Tear, and Jason swore that he was going to eradicate that entire group from existence.
Jason's eyes slowly darkened in pure hatred as these thoughts passed through his mind, and as the sound of the firemen and police outside began to grow closer, Jason activated his most recent skill.
[Wandering Shadow] has been activated.
Jason and Riyala melted into the shadows of the dwindling flames and vanished from the apartment.

All over the city, the news of the dragon that had appeared suddenly was spreading like wildfire! The citizens had begun to forward videos and images to one another, and helicopters and news vans were moving quickly through the city as they tried to get another glimpse of Ragnar! But Jason had already sent the dragon back into his Alternate Dimension, so there was no sign of it!
One of the news helicopters was carrying the same woman who had been in charge of reporting the incident that happened with Raygun a few days ago. This time, her bright red hair was let loose to fall around her shoulder, and her blue eyes were narrowed in concentration as she looked out from the helicopter flying over the city!
"Numerous reporters on the ground and air have been involved in one of the largest hunts we've seen this year. According to reports reaching our men on the ground, a literal dragon was seen moving in the direction of the lower districts! It moved too fast for anyone to determine its exact destination, but there has been some speculation that it was heading for the fire raging across downtown Riverdale! We do not yet have confirmation of its origin or who summoned it, but ht rumors traveling across social media suggest that it was summoned by one of the recent awakeners who was carrying out their assessment at the SMD building!"
The woman had also seen the numerous videos on Metube about the dragon that appeared in Riverdale, and she knew without a doubt that it was impossible for that many people to be lying about the same thing! They all came out at the same time and said that they had seen the dragon, and she was certain that it was real! The only thing she needed now was to find where it was! There were already some skeptics from other cities around who were saying that the dragon was not real. They were trying to claim that it was just some sort of mass hallucination that happened right above Riverdale, and there were even those who were starting to believe that nonsense!
The reporter scoffed at such stupid thoughts! In a time like this, people were still finding it hard to believe that things like dragons could be real!? After everything that they had seen! She was going to find that dragon no matter what!
They had just passed over Jason's house, and they saw that the flames were being put out by firemen and a few superhumans, but there was no sign of the dragon and the helicopter ignored it! There were other reporters from the same news channel who were in charge of reporting the fire, so the reporter in the helicopter didn't need to worry about that! Instead, the reporter put all her effort into making sure she found the dragon for those at home!
A voice suddenly spoke in the reporter's ear through her comms, and she frowned in concentration as she listened for a few seconds before her eyes widened and she turned back to the camera!
"We just received news from our correspondent that confirmed the dragon's summoner was none other than the most recent Awakener in the city, Jason Marc! They say there was an altercation between Jason and a member of the Enforcers, and Jason summoned the dragon in order to escape arrest! We still haven't confirmed this news, but there is a battle currently raging between two members of the Enforcers, and our correspondent on the scene will bring you all the news!"
The image on the TVs all over the city changed to show the battle raging between Agiel and Keith! The city sky had finally darkened as the sun set on the horizon, and the only source of light was the full moon shining high in the sky. The night sky was clear and the city below was empty and quiet of all noise.
"RARGGGHH!"
But suddenly, a loud shout echoed through the night as a figure burst out from one of the western wall of a building and caused the entire thing to begin coming down! Agiel flew back from the massive kick that Keith had delivered to her, but even in the midst of the carnage, she still had a smile on her lips! There was a small line of blood falling down the right side of her face, and she easily cleaned it off to show that there was no injury there. The blood was not her own!
She slammed into another building behind her and wasted no time as she crouched and shot off back toward where she had just come from!
BOOM!
A massive slab of rock flew straight for Agiel, and Agiel raised her hand towards it! The moment she touched the rock, she activated her Gift!
TWOOM!
The rock disintegrated into millions of pieces that fell around her like dust, and Agiel continued forward without losing any momentum!
The truth about Agiel's ability was something that boggled people's minds even to this day. To most people, the ability to release pressure waves and use sonic booms like Agiel did was enough for them to classify her as an Emitter who could control waves, but those who took their time and really looked into Agiel's abilities would see that those people were wrong.
It was true that Agiel could control air pressure and sonic waves, but that didn't mean that was all she could do. Those abilities were only a byproduct of her unique Gift, and Agiel's ability was something more complicated than that. When she was asked years ago to explain her abilities to a group of scientists, Agiel told them that all she knew was that she could match the energy of anything around her using her mana and then rip through that thing with great force by making her mana vibrate at a higher wavelength! This was the same phenomenon that fighter jets used to create sonic booms, and after running their tests, the scientists discovered that Agiel was right. Agiel's ability was called [Rupture] and it worked by reading the frequency of any object that she was targeting and replicating the object's vibration at a higher wavelength.

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC173: Don't Be A Baby
Chapter 173: Don't Be A Baby
Agiel's ability was called [Rupture], and it worked by reading the frequency of any object she was targeting and Agiel could then vibrate her mana in a way that would directly match that object's frequency, and then she could increase the wavelength of her vibrations so that the frequencies would go through [Destructive Interference]! This would cause a great amount of pressure to build up inside the object, resulting in a rupture that destroyed the object with a lower frequency.
Agiel could do this with any non-living object! The air, water, sand, rock, metal! Anything at all! As long as Agiel was touching the object and could match its frequency, she would be able to rupture it! In fact, the scientists believed that if Agiel put in enough work, she would be capable of matching frequencies of non-tangible objects like heat and cold. They didn't yet know what her abilities would do to these things, but they knew it would make her far stronger than she was now!
But even though she had still not achieved her full potential, there was no denying the fact that Agiel was a force to be reckoned with, and at this moment, Keith was finding out just how dangerous it was to face off against the commander!
Keith was in shambles. He was currently leaning against the wall while trying to catch his breath after the beating he had taken! Keith was sure his left arm was broken and there was a massive wound on the right side of his stomach that wouldn't stop bleeding. His uniform was dirty and torn, and he couldn't move two steps without limping. He and Agiel had been fighting for the better part of ten minutes, and Keith knew without a shadow of a doubt that there was no way he would be able to stop Agiel.
Normally, any sane person would have seen that Keith couldn't put up any more of a fight and they would have simply apprehended him and taken him to prison! But Agiel was not a normal person! Keith had challenged her fighting spirit, and Agiel was not the sort of person to ever stop a fight halfway! Agiel was the sort of person who continued to attack until her opponent either died or lost the ability to fight completely!
BOOM!
Another massive sonic boom alerted Keith to Agiel's approach, and he cursed as he tried to push off the wall he was leaning against and took in harsh breaths! Another massive boom echoed through the region and the large wolf that Jason had left there to help him in the fight was brutally thrown through a wall and out of the building!

Keith watched as the wolf released a loud howl while falling more than twenty stories to the ground! There was a large wound scarring its right side, and Keith could tell that the wound would have been enough to kill any normal beast, but the wound was already starting to close and Keith was sure that the wolf would be as good as new before long.
"What the hell are these things?"
Keith had seen that wolf come back to life more times than he could count, and he couldn't help but be grateful for that! It was only because of the Magic Beasts that Keith hadn't already fallen in this battle! Agiel was like a wrecking ball that kept swinging back no matter how many times Keith tried to push her away! The beasts were taking up Agiel's attention and giving him enough time and space to catch a breather!
BOOM!
Another loud sound echoed right in front of Keith and Keith looked up in shock to see the giant Adamantine Ant fly through the wall and into the room where he was!

The ant flew towards Keith, and Keith couldn't even gather the strength needed to move out of the way! He raised his hand and tried to catch the beast, but before he could catch it, Agiel appeared from the hole in the wall and ran towards the beast with a terrifying smile on her face!
BOOM!
Agiel slammed her leg into the Ant's side and another sonic boom echoed through the room as Agiel's ability activated! Keith let out a cry of pain as the ant slammed into him with full force and he was thrown back through the wall behind him! He broke out into the open air and felt vertigo fill his entire body as the sensation of falling suddenly overwhelmed him!
Keith immediately called on his mana and forced the rocks falling around him to form into sand! The sand gathered under Keith like a cushion and solidified like a bulletproof vest just before he reached the ground!
SLAM!
Keith slammed into the ground with enough force to leave a massive crater there, and he coughed as intense pain traveled through his entire body! Keith didn't even have the energy to cry out from the pain he felt when he impacted the ground! The sand had helped cushion the worst of the impact, but that didn't mean it didn't fucking hurt!
Keith stared up at the night sky with a tired expression on his face and let out a dry sigh. This was the worst night of his fucking life and Keith just wanted it to end already!
But Keith's eyes widened when he saw a massive shadow block out the moonlight! He cursed internally when he saw that it was the Adamantine Ant that had fallen out of the building with him! The ant was freefalling through the air as well, and it was heading straight for him! Keith didn't have the energy to move or defend, and his mana was far too low for him to use his sand to redirect it! It was going to fucking crush him!
BOOM!
But before the ant could reach the ground, Agiel suddenly flew out from the building and kicked it away so that it would land away from Keith! Agiel slammed into the ground in a low crouch before standing slowly, and Keith let his head fall back to the ground as he released another tired sigh. The sound of sand crunching underneath Agiel's feet told Keith that Agiel was heading his way, and he blinked up at her as she looked down at him with a disappointed expression.
Agiel could tell that Keith was no longer capable of fighting, and the other two beasts were already starting to bore her since they weren't intelligent enough to put up a good fight so Agiel decided that this fight was over. She used the tip of her boot to kick Keith's hand lightly and Keith cursed.
"Fuck!"
"Don't be such a pussy, you fool. It's only a broken arm. Sigh~"
Agiel grabbed her gloves from her pocket and began putting them on as she continued talking.
"What the hell were you thinking, Keith? I thought you were smarter than this. Putting your job and your future on the line for someone that you barely even know. It's not like you."
What Keith had done here today was insubordination and as his commanding officer, Agiel had every right to strip him of his position for disobeying her orders. But Agiel was finding it hard to understand what Keith had been trying to achieve by going against her command. Keith was the most reasonable person she knew so this entire situation just didn't make any sense to her!
Keith blinked up at Agiel for a moment before he turned away. Was it really not like him? Was putting his life on the line for someone else something they didn't expect him to do? For some reason, that didn't sit right with Keith. Keith was someone who held the law above nearly everything! He believed that anyone who went against the law deserved every punishment they received for their actions. But that didn't mean that he was not a human.

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC174: Do You Think He Can Defeat Me?
Chapter 174: Do You Think He Can Defeat Me?
Keith had seen the desperation in Jason's eyes when Jason said he needed to go home. He had watched the eighteen-year-old boy show more emotion in that one moment than he had shown in all the other times that Keith had seen him combined, and something in Jason's eyes made Keith feel like fighting for him.
Maybe it was stupid and maybe he had made the wrong decision, but Keith wanted to believe that he was on the right side this time. Keith wasn't a fool just because he upheld the law more than anyone else. He knew that there were times when the law needed to be put aside because of how complicated a situation was. And in this situation, Keith's morality aligned more with Jason than it did with the actual law.
Besides, if Keith had blocked Jason's path back then, Keith knew that it wouldn't have been a good thing both for Jason and for the government. It would've caused a rift between them that was irreparable and Jason would never trust the Enforcers again. So by taking Jason's side, Keith had saved the relationship between the both of them. If Keith had to sacrifice his own health to ensure someone as powerful as Jason remained on their side, then Keith would do it a thousand times over. Because he believed in the law more than anyone else. And he knew they needed someone like Jason to believe in the law as well.
Keith said all of this to Agiel in short, clipped sentences and he could see the way Agiel's eyes slowly narrowed in slight confusion. Agiel thought through everything that Keith said with a small hum before she eventually felt a laugh bubble up from inside her. It was a beautiful and soft thing that absolutely betrayed the sheer monstrosity that Agiel was capable of and Keith couldn't help but admit that Agiel looked very attractive at that moment! If not for the fact that he had experienced it firsthand, Keith would never believe a woman like this was so powerful!
Agiel spoke in a soft voice.
"So that is what you were fighting for. You didn't want the Enforcers to get on Jason's bad side, so you made sure we weren't seen as the villains in his story. You really believe in him that much?"
Keith said nothing in response; he simply gave a small nod, and Agiel's smile became bloodthirsty once more as she asked,
"Do you think he can defeat me?"
It was a simple question, and if Keith had heard it a few minutes before they started their fight, then he would have had an immediate answer. Agiel was a beast unlike anything he had ever seen. She had the sheer fighting prowess that rivaled any other superhuman in the world and her power was nothing to scoff at. But the most dangerous thing about her was the way she was able to use her Gift in such a brilliant way.
Her Gift was difficult to use because she needed to touch anything she wanted to rupture before she could activate it, but Agiel had mastered how to track the movement of objects down to the millisecond and she was capable of activating her Gift just at the exact moment any object touched her. It was a brilliant Gift that became more dangerous the more she learned about it.
A few minutes ago, Keith would have had no doubt in his mind that Agiel could beat Jason in a fight. But now that Keith had felt her power for himself and he could compare it to what he felt from Jason as well as the beasts he had seen Jason summon without even trying, Keith was no longer sure that she could defeat him.
Keith's silence was enough to make Agiel's eyes narrow back into slits. The mere fact that he couldn't give her an answer told Agiel all that she needed to know, and it didn't take long before she felt another surge of bloodthirst rising from her heart. She wanted to clash with Jason so badly that it was nearly sickening! Her mind traveled back to the intense moment that she shared with Jason earlier, and she knew that something special had happened between them! They both recognized each other as predators, and Agiel could feel a heat rising in her body as she thought about trading blows with Jason! She badly wanted to meet Jason and see if he felt the same thing! She needed to satisfy this mad desire in her heart!
Agiel reached down and grabbed Keith by his one good arm and Keith released a loud scream of pain as Agiel threw the arm over her shoulder and began to carry him away from the scene of their battle.
Agiel spoke up after a few seconds of silence.
"I still think you're a fool to have risked your life like that, but I can understand why you did it. You were thinking about the future, so I'll be lenient this one time and not strip you of your rank. Good work, Lieutenant."
Keith grunted in pain as he forced his words out.
"T-Thank you, commander."
Agiel clicked her tongue at how weak Keith sounded before she spoke:
"But I can't just let your insubordination go without any punishment, so I hope you have insurance, because you're paying for all the damages done to the buildings."
Keith groaned.
....
[Greenville]
[Tobias Grant's Apartment]
The sound of the news on the television rang through the dark mansion as the reporter gave a rundown of the things that had been happening in Riverdale the past few hours. First, the fight between two members of the Enforcers was shown and they explained that the battle had raged for more than ten minutes and there were no casualties from the fight due to the quick evacuations, but then they switched the news to the image of an enormous dragon as it moved across the sky above Riverdale.
Tobias Grant was sitting on his large couch and leaning towards the TV with an intense gaze. He was naked, except for a small towel covering his crotch, and there was sweat falling from his chin and landing on the ground in front of him.
The reporter on the screen spoke in a professional tone as the image switched to another angle of the dragon.
[... the spectators on the scene claimed that a man was riding on the back of the dragon and we have identified him to most likely be the recent A-Ranked Awakener, Jason Marc...]
'What the hell is this!? A dragon? How the fuck does Jason Marc have a dragon? Did he lie to us about what his actual abilities were? Yes, that's the only thing that would explain this! And this means that Millicent failed!'
Tobias' eyes narrowed at the screen as the reporter started talking about how there had been a confrontation between Jason and the director of the SMD branch in Riverdale and Tobias cursed internally. That fucking useless bitch couldn't even do something like this properly!?
"Hey baby, won't you come back to bed?"
A voice suddenly came from the side and Tobias turned to see a drop-dead gorgeous woman standing there. She had large breasts that were perky and round, and a thin waist that traveled down into wide hips, thick thighs, and long sexy legs. But the most noticeable feature in her appearance was her dark skin and her hair that was dyed a pure white.
She was completely naked, and she was confident enough in her looks to know she would attract any man. She gave Tobias a sensual look as she leaned against the door and pushed her chest forward to show off her assets more but Tobias didn't even give her a second glance. He had already lost all interest in her, so he felt nothing.
"I'm not interested. Get your things and get out. All of you."
The girl's expression changed to one of shock as two other girls appeared from behind her. They were also beautiful women with unbelievable figures, and they both had the same dark skin and white hair as the first woman. They looked at each other in shock and wondered what could have happened.

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC175: Making Preparations
Chapter 175: Making Preparations
All three women were completely naked and their hair and makeup were messed up from the intense rounds they had just finished having with Tobias! Tobias had left the room in the middle of their round when he got a call about the news, and the girls were left unsatisfied! The girls looked at each other while curiously muttering to each other before one of them gained enough confidence to walk up to Tobias and touch his arm.
"Come on, baby. We still have all night—"
Tobias suddenly shrugged his shoulder back in anger, and the girl let out a cry as she was thrown to the ground! Tobias stood up and the other two girls took many steps back in fear when they saw the intense look on his face.
"I thought I told you bitches to get out of here! Wallen!"
Tobias called out, and an older man with slicked-back white hair and intelligent eyes appeared from the side like a ghost. He was wearing a pristine butler's outfit and his face was set in a look of professionalism that showed no emotion at all! He didn't even look surprised by the sight of all the naked people in the room and he acted like this was a daily occurrence for him as he turned and spoke with a respectful tone towards Tobias.
"Yes, Mr. Grant. What may I do for you?"
Tobias waved his hand to the three women while turning back to the TV.
"Pay them their dues and take out the trash. And tell all the members of my guild branch to prepare for departure immediately."
The butler nodded.
"May I inquire where you're going, Mr. Grant?"
The butler asked this question curiously, but before Tobias could answer, the newscaster on the TV spoke:
[The recent happenings around the city have led many people to ask questions about what really occurred after the assessment in the SMD building and what prompted the sudden appearance of the dragon in the city. But amidst all this, the most prominent question seems to be: Where is Jason Marc?]
Tobias clicked his tongue and turned away from the TV. He walked past the stunned naked women and began making his way up the stairs before he spat out a response.
"We're going to Riverdale."
...
[Greenville]
[The Main Headquarters of the BloodRaven Guild]
"So it begins."
In the darkened chapel of the BloodRaven Guild's headquarters, Kateraina Ford bowed her head to the crucifix before her and joined her hands in prayer. She had just been told by one of her maids about the incident that happened in Riverdale and how a dragon was seen flying over the city.
Katarina was not surprised when she heard the name Jason Marc in relation to the incidents! In a way, Katarina always had a suspicion that Jason Marc was the one she had been waiting for all this time. There had been many people who had the potential to become the King, but none of them had lived up to that potential.
Jason Marc was the only one who didn't seem to be slowing down even as time passed. If there was ever going to be a King, then it would be him.
"What is my brother doing?"
Katarina spoke to the maid that was still standing behind her, and the woman spoke with her head bowed.
"He is readying his guild branch and heading to Riverdale. I believe he plans to attack Jason Marc."
Katarina let out a shuddering breath. She wasn't surprised that her brother was already getting ready for an attack. He was blindly devoted to her, and ever since she told him about the appearance of a King, he had been trying everything in his power to ensure they never rose. But Katarina didn't know if it would be enough. Her brother was strong, but he didn't have enough power to stand up to Jason Marc.
The best course of action now would be for Katarina herself to go and help Tobias in his attack and make sure that Jason Marc was taken care of properly. But the mere thought of going out into the world made Katarina shudder in fear. There were very few things that she feared more than being amongst other people. Very few.
'All I can do is supply him with as much support as possible.'
This thought crossed Katarina's mind, and she nodded internally to her own words. She didn't even consider for a second that she was leaving her only brother to face off against one of the most dangerous men in the world. The only thing she was worried about was her own safety and preserving her life.
Katarina turned to the maid behind her and told her to provide the names of everyone who was going to Riverdale with Tobias. She was going to make sure to provide them with more support so that their base stats would get a significant boost. The maid bowed and immediately went to do as she was told.
...
[Outskirts of New Jersey]
A shadow moved across the city at a quick pace while staying out of sight of any wandering civilians. The shadow slithered past the large Orange Gate that was still open on one side of the city and made its way towards the other side of the city where there were fewer people wandering about. It reached an empty alleyway and slithered towards one of the walls before two figures slowly emerged from the ground.
Riyala looked around with wide eyes as she wondered where they were. She didn't expect Jason to suddenly pull her into the shadows since she had no idea he could use an ability like that, and Riyala remembered that the assassins had used her exact same ability against her and Gina earlier. Did Jason somehow learn the skill just from seeing them do it once, or did he gain it by killing one of the assassins?
Riyala was undeniably curious about what Jason's ability really was, but she could tell that this was not the time to bring up something like that. Riyala turned to look at Jason and she felt her heart thump in her chest when she saw the intense look on his face! Jason was staring at the wall in front of them with an intensity that she had never seen before, and she felt her heart going out to him in sympathy! Riyala knew that Jason was truly hurt by what had happened and she couldn't help but feel guilty for bringing such misfortune to the people that had helped her!
"Stay close to me."
Riyala suddenly jumped in surprise when Jason spoke, and she looked up to see him giving her a curious look. Riyala quickly nodded to tell him that she understood, and Jason nodded back before he put his hand out and called on one of the Phantom Subordinates.
Yulyv, the leader of the phantoms that had attacked Gina and Riyala, emerged from Jason's Alternate Dimension and immediately fell to one knee in front of Jason respectfully. Jason glanced at Yulyv's tab and saw that Yulyv was just a Pawn Rank III subordinate.

His stats were similar to what the boss of a Red Gate would have, and he also had the same upgrade limit. Jason thought he would feel a surge of anger rising from inside him the moment he saw Yulyv's face, but there was nothing there at all. Jason knew that Yulyv was nothing but a loyal dog now, so there was no need for him to be angry at his property.

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC176: Memories of The Past
Chapter 176: Memories of The Past
'Is this the right place?'
Jason turned to glance at the wall in front of him, and Yulvy nodded respectfully while responding mentally.
'Yes, my king. This is where we opened a Dimensional Tear to reach Earth. If you release enough mana, then the tear will reopen and lead you back to the hideout of the other Phantoms.'
Jason turned to the wall and stretched out his hand to touch it. Then he unleashed a significant amount of mana towards it, almost like he was trying to send mana out to resurrect one of his subordinates! The wall in front of Jason rippled and pulsed like a living membrane before Jason felt his hand sinking into the wall as the Dimensional Tear reopened!
Jason pulled back his hand and then ordered Yulvy and all the other Phantoms that he had killed to go forward first. Jason had a plan that he was going to carry out to perfection and in order to do that he needed to make sure that the Phantoms didn't feel threatened by his appearance. Jason was going to make sure every single one of them died tonight!
The Phantom Subordinates all obeyed Jason's order and all five of them appeared from his Alternate Dimension and began walking through the Dimensional Tear! Jason turned and told Riyala to stay close to him once again, and Riyla wrapped Jason's hoodie tighter against her body as she nodded up at him. They stood outside there for a few seconds as Jason waited for a signal, and then once the Phantoms sent him the confirmation that he needed from them, Jason told Riyla to follow him and both of them walked through the Dimensional Tear.
....
[The Phantom Hideout]
[A Few Minutes Ago]
Alpha was in the large tent in the middle of the Phantom camping spot. There was only a dim candlelight illuminating the interior of the tent and it cast the tent in a low, sober atmosphere. Alpha was sitting behind the small table in the middle of the room. She had taken off her clothes and she was only in her underwear, so her toned figure and multiple scars from battle were visible all across her body.
It would be obvious to anyone watching that Alpha was a beautiful woman, and if not for her long history as a soldier and her inability to commit to a relationship, then she would have been a desirable partner for any man. Alpha was currently staring down at a map detailing the layout of the world where they were going to be carrying out their next mission immediately after this assassination. Due to their positive track record, the Phantoms always had one job or another lined up, and this time they had been hired to go and destroy a revolutionary group that was trying to overthrow the corrupt government of a world a few dozen Dimensional Leaps away. The revolutionary group was not a serious threat to the government yet, but they had a loud voice and a charismatic leader, so the government was trying to make sure that they didn't grow large enough to become an issue.
'Destroy problems before they become problems. That is the best way to make sure you can always keep your power.'
Alpha didn't care that the government was corrupt or that the revolutionary group was trying to save their people. All she knew was that they were getting paid an enormous sum for this job, so they would complete it no matter what!
Alpha read through the profile of the leader of the revolution and she paused in her tracks when she reached the part that detailed the family situation of the group leader. The group leader had two wives and three children who were barely older than five years old, and Alpha couldn't stop her traitorous mind from traveling to the life she had before she became the leader of the Phantoms. The faces of her children and husband flashed through her mind against her will and she grit her teeth in irritation while running a hand through her hair.
Alpha knew that what she did to her family was evil. Abandoning them in that way without even giving them a reason was the worst thing she could have done to them. In fact, it would have been better if she had died! But Alpha just couldn't do it. She was an assassin. A killer by nature. Settling down and taking care of children and a husband just wasn't something she could ever get used to. It was against her very nature!
'They'll be finishing school around this time. Maybe finding jobs or partners.'
Alpha's children had been very little when she left, but she was sure that they would be just old enough to be getting married or finding jobs now. She released another sigh as she shook her head and focused back on the map! She wasn't going to get distracted by something so pointless! That life was behind her now so there was nothing she could do!
She traced a line across the road leading towards the revolutionary base and she began to plan out the optimal Dimensional Route to take towards the world when she suddenly perked up in surprise! Her eyes narrowed for a second before her expression turned to one of shock as she felt five of her subordinates vanish from her senses!
Alpha had given all the Phantoms the ability to travel through the shadows, and this ability also allowed her to track their movement and location! So the moment they were no longer connected to her senses, Alpha knew that there could only be one reason for it! They were dead!
'Someone found them? Those fools. I thought I told them to make sure they completed the job before reinforcements arrived!?'
Alpha frowned in irritation at the sheer incompetence of her men. She had expected a lot more from them, especially since Yulvy was put in charge of the team! Yulvy was young and passionate, so she thought that he would do everything in his power to make sure he didn't disappoint her! But it turns out that she was wrong about him.
Alpha stood up and walked to the tent exit. She stepped out and watched as everyone in the campsite turned to her while immediately falling silent. Even though Alpha was only dressed in her underwear, she didn't show any sort of embarrassment or shame since she was already used to being naked around others from her time in the army. She glanced towards two of the strongest members of the team and she told them to come into her tent.
The two members were the same feline-based couple that had been watching over the hounds previously. The man was sitting shirtless by the fire and the woman had been talking to some of the other Phantoms about their next mission when they were summoned, and they both left what they were doing and immediately followed Alpha into her tent!
Alpha took a seat behind the table once again and the two felines stood opposite her curiously and waited for her to say something. Alpha first closed up the map that she had been reading and put it to the side before she spoke.
"The group sent to Earth is dead. All five of them were killed within a few minutes of each other, so we can only assume that they were killed by a single person. We didn't receive any information about their mission, so we cannot be sure if they completed the assassination or not. You two have been known to work well together, so I'm sending you back to Earth to confirm the princess' death. Take a single Mana Hound with you and try to trace her mana. If you cannot find it within two days, then come back and report."
The felines didn't show any reaction at all to the news that the other five were dead and Alpha didn't expect them to either. Death was something that they were all used to in their line of work.

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC177: The Hunter
Chapter 177: The Hunter
The felines didn't show any reaction at all to the news that the other five were dead, and Alpha didn't expect them to either. Death was something they were all used to in their line of work. Sometimes people died because they didn't think properly before going on a mission, or because they attacked someone that was just far too strong for them to handle. There were even those who died out of sheer bad luck. And Alpha didn't really care about what caused the death of the five phantoms. The only thing that mattered now was making sure that the mission was complete!
The felines nodded in agreement to Alpha's orders, and Alpha told them to leave and get ready. They were expected to start immediately. The felines quickly left the tent, and Alpha sighed harshly as she considered her next course of action.
....
On the other side of the Phantom hideout, a few hundred meters away from the campsite, a Dimensional Tear tore open across the air and five figures appeared from inside it. The five dead Phantoms looked around the region curiously, and it wasn't long before they heard a voice coming from in front of them.
"Hey, you're back."
The shadow in front of them bulged and a figure appeared from inside it. It was a woman who wore a white mask over her face. She had on the same black outfit as the others, as well as the sais that were attached at her hips, but there was also a long katana attached behind her. She was one of the lookouts in charge of ensuring there were no ambushes on their campsite, and she had been waiting here since the five left on their mission so that she could report back once they arrived.
The woman looked at all five of them with a curious look on her face and she raised a brow behind her mask when she noticed that there was something off about them. It felt like they were a lot more intimidating than they had been the last time she saw them and she could also feel a lot more mana coming off their bodies! The woman decided not to think too much about that for now and she hummed when none of them spoke.
"Is everything okay? Did something happen with the mission?"
The woman immediately thought that they had failed the mission. It was the only reason she could think of for them to be looking so emotionless. Every Phantom knew what Alpha would do to anyone who failed a mission! Coming back without completing the mission would be no different from signing your death warrant!
But rather than getting an answer from them, the woman was surprised when one of them immediately charged towards her! She took a step back in shock and reached for her sai! She was a B Rank who was confident in her speed, so it was easy for her to pull her sai and stab it forward into the man's neck! But instead of the man going down, he continued forward and grabbed her! Her eyes widened in shock when she didn't see any blood leaking from the wound, and before she could do anything, two other men grabbed her as well! The woman was strong, but she couldn't do anything against three B Ranks holding her down and she was easily disarmed!
Another figure began to emerge from the Dimensional Tear and Jason stepped into the new world with a calm, calculative look on his face. His eyes looked over the terrain in front of him before he finally glanced down at the Phantom being held down by his subordinates. Jason knew that killing a Phantom would immediately alert the leader to his presence, so he told his subordinates not to kill her yet. The time for killing would come, but first Jason was going to make sure that there were no escape routes the Phantoms could use to get away.
The Phantom campsite was located at the bottom of a valley, and there were tall walls and mountains blocking easy access to it. Jason planned to turn this valley into a fucking prison.
The system's explanation of the [Wandering Shadow] skill told Jason everything that he needed to know to make this plan work. The skill worked by taking advantage of the shadows that light cast on a solid object. That meant that if there was too much light or too much darkness, then the skill would not work, and anyone who tried to get into the shadow would immediately be repelled. Jason was going to use this to his advantage.
Jason called on every single subordinate that he had with him, and all four hundred and seventy-four of them began to emerge from his Alternate Dimension! The female Phantom that was still being held down by the Phantom subordinates felt her eyes widen in fear at the sight of all the monsters, and she began to thrash about as she tried to get away from there! But the other Phantoms held her down and made sure she wasn't going anywhere!
Jason raised a finger and rotated it around the campsite below, and he watched as the wolves, Adamantine Ants, and Spider monkeys began to run in both directions to surround the campsite. The Phantoms who were on lookout were the first ones to notice the sudden movement and they all emerged from the shadows curiously and watched as the monsters surrounded them. Some of them immediately fell back into the shadows and went to report to Alpha while the others stayed back and continued watching to see what the monsters were going to do.
Jason ignored them all and instead focused his mana on the next part of his plan.
[Black Fog] has been activated.
Jason put his hand out toward the campsite and unleashed his mana in a wave of power that emerged as a fog of pure darkness.
The skill [Black Fog] was one of the most versatile skills that Jason received from any of his subordinates recently. It once belonged to Ricardo Santos, and Ricardo had used it in a way that made him one of the most feared assassins back on Earth. The fog blocked out all the senses of whoever it covered, and only the person who created it and those he permitted to would be able to use their senses. The only limit it had was the fact that someone who was sufficiently strong enough would be able to overpower the fog's power using their own mana, but Jason didn't have to worry about something like that here because he knew that none of the Phantoms were stronger than A Rank.
Since the fog was pure mana, the radius that you could cover depended greatly on the amount of mana that you had. Ricardo had been an A rank when he died, and he had about 1500 units of mana. With that much mana, he was able to cover up to 1 km in total radius using his fog, and in that radius, no one would be able to hear, see, smell, or touch anything. But things were completely different now that Jason was the one using the Fog. As an S-rank Necromancer, not only did Jason possess more mana than Ricardo, but Jason also possessed all the mana that he had gained from all the subordinates that he had resurrected.
And when they were all combined together, they gave Jason well over twenty-eight thousand units of mana! That was more than eighteen times the amount that Ricardo had! And in this one moment, Jason was determined to use every ounce of mana at his disposal to ensure that every single Phantom died in this valley!
The [Black Fog] slowly rolled over the valley like a blanket! The Phantoms that had been in the tents as well as those that were sitting around the fire stood up in surprise when they saw the black fog washing over them! The attack was so sudden that none of them were able to figure out what was happening before they were consumed by the fog, and by the time they were inside it, it was already too late!

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC178: The Prey
Chapter 178: The Prey
Jason's fog took less than a minute to cover the three-kilometer radius of the valley and trap all the Phantoms inside, and Jason looked around at all his subordinates who were waiting for his command. They stood on top of the mountains and at the edge of the fog with their teeth bared and ready to pounce, and Jason only gave them one command.
"The leader is mine. Kill everyone else."
And with that command, the Legion charged forward into the Fog!
...
It was a terrifying thing to not have any of your senses. One of the phantoms who had been sitting close to a campfire stood alone as he watched the fog wash over the entire camp. He was a slender-looking creature with sharp angular features. He came from a world known as Rela more than twenty Dimensional Leaps away, and his people depended greatly on their senses to navigate their environment. He had large ears that could receive sonar signals around him and warn him of danger, and his eyes were slit like a cat's so that they could see even in very dark areas!
But at that moment, he was going through something that he had never experienced before! He couldn't hear or see anything at all! There were some phantoms standing close to him and he could barely pick up their voices since they were close by, but other than that, he couldn't hear anything beyond the fog! What was this? Was it some sort of attack?
'... can't go into the shadow!'
The man suddenly heard one of his comrades saying this with disbelief in his voice and the man quickly tried to activate the skill that allowed them to travel using the shadows. He felt his body almost melting into the ground under him, but before he could do that, he was forcefully pushed out from the darkness and back to the surface! What the hell!? Was the skill no longer working? No, that didn't make any sense! He could still feel the skill inside him and he knew that it was more than ready to be called on, but there was something preventing it from manifesting properly!
Woosh!
Suddenly, something moved through space beside him and the man barely caught sight of it from his side vision! He turned around sharply to try and see it properly, but he wasn't able to!
"He's dead!"
Someone close to him shouted loudly and the man turned to see that one of their men had been run through with a sharp object! It was almost like someone used a pair of scissors to tear one side of his body to shreds!
Woosh!
Another figure quickly moved across the space right in front of him and this time the man was able to see the large silver ant that used its mandibles to tear through the woman that was standing there! The man's eyes widened as he quickly reached for his blades! He began taking steps back in fear while looking around for any sign of danger and he spread his senses as far as he could as he struggled to pick out any sound from beyond the fog!
Although the man couldn't see anything, the Adamantine Ant as well as all of Jason's other subordinates could both see and hear perfectly in the fog. The Adamantine Ant was flying through the air, so there were no footsteps for the man to pick out, but even if the Adamantine Ant had been running across the ground, the man wouldn't have been able to pick out its footsteps until it was right on top of him!
The Adamantine Ant watched the man from a distance like a predator stalking its prey. The man was taking steps back while swinging his sword around frantically to try and attack the Ant, and the Ant waited for the exact moment when the man would let his guard down for even a second!
The man was breathing heavily and there was sweat pouring out from his forehead! He swung his knife around a few more times to make sure nothing was around and he slowly brought the knives in front of him in a ready position while looking out for any sign of—
Woosh!
The ant pounced at that exact moment and caught the man off guard in its swift attack! The man couldn't even bring up a defense as he felt a searing pain tear through his body and his belly was immediately split in two by the Ant's sharp mandibles!
A similar scene to this one was playing out in nearly every section of the campsite! All the Phantoms were experiencing the same loss of senses that the man had experienced and only those that had stuck together were able to at least see and hear each other. But it didn't matter how many there were in a group or what sort of skill they tried to use to defend against the Legion. There were only fifty of them in the entire group of Phantoms, and even though many of them had enough power to be regarded as Pawn Rank IIs and IIIs in Jason's legion, they were incapable of keeping up with the sheer number of Subordinates that they were facing!
The phantoms would cut, burn, or skewer Jason's Legion, but none of the attacks would work! It was like fighting against a horde of demons that just never stayed dead! Every time they cut one down, two would take its place! Every time they tried to turn away from one horde, they would immediately run into another horde of monsters! It was like fighting the devil!
At the center of the Black Fog, the two feline-based Phantoms quickly walked out of their meeting after they were done receiving their orders from Alpha. The Black Fog had completely cut off all sounds from the outside, so they still didn't know that their camp was under attack. But once they saw the fog that had completely encompassed the valley, they were immediately on guard!
The female feline quickly tried to go back and tell Alpha that someone had attacked them, but before she could take two steps, three Moonlight Wolves appeared from the side and pounced on the unsuspecting pair! The Wolves grabbed the female feline and pulled her away from the tent, and the male feline immediately rushed to try and save his partner! But before he could get to her, he was suddenly grabbed from behind by Fenrir!
Fenrir swiped its paw across the air and slammed it into the male feline with enough force to throw him clear across the clearing! The male feline slammed into the ground in the middle of the fog and he coughed in pain as he felt blood leaking from a large wound on his side! He quickly tried to use the shadow to escape, but he was shocked when he felt the skill fail! He tried it again and again, and each time he failed, he felt more fear creep into his bones! What in the world was going on here? Were they under attack from some demon!?
'Is it one of our previous targets? They could have sent someone to take us out as revenge! But we were careful! We made sure no one could track us down to this dimension!'
The male feline opened his mouth to yell for anyone who was close by, but his voice barely got past two meters in front of him before it fizzled and died out without reaching anyone! He couldn't hear anything even with his enhanced senses and he couldn't see anything past the fog! This wasn't just some random attacker! This was someone who knew what they were doing! A monster who made sure they created an inescapable environment!
Growl~
A growl came from right on top of the male feline and he turned around sharply while drawing his knife and pointing it at Fenrir!

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC179: I Can't Watch This!
Chapter 179: I Can't Watch This!
Growl~
A growl came from right on top of the male Feline and he turned around sharply while drawing his knife and pointing it at Fenrir! His breath was coming out in harsh puffs and he quickly began shuffling back to try and get away from the wolf! Fenrir towered over the feline like a mountain and just the sight of the giant wolf was enough to put a primal fear into his heart as he began to shout.
"Get! Get out! Get out! Leave me alone!"
ROARR!
Fenrir cared its teeth and charged forward with a roar!
....
Up on the mountain overlooking the valley, Jason stood with a blank expression on his face as he looked upon the scene in front of him with the [Predator's Gaze]. Jason could easily see through the fog since he was the one that created it, so the sheer carnage that this Legion was causing to the Phantoms was visible to him. His system tabs were ringing over and over again with the sound of kill notifications appearing and his kill Points were rising quickly as the Phantoms dwindled in number.
This was the first time that Jason would be going out of his way to eradicate an entire group of people in this way. Every time that he had killed before, it had either been because he was defending himself or because he was facing off against a Magic Beast. He had never taken the initiative to go out and kill someone for any reason. But even though Jason was new to this, he didn't feel any guilt for his actions.
From the memories that Jason received from the Phantoms that he resurrected, Jason could tell that the Phantoms were a blight upon the Primordial Expanse. They had killed more people than Jason could count and their actions had led to the enslavement, eradication, and death of innocents all over the Primordial Expanse. There was no way Jason could feel any form of guilt for people like these.
"Jason, what's going on?"
Riyala spoke up from behind Jason with a confused tone. Unlike Jason and his Legion, Riyala couldn't see through the fog, so she had no idea just how many people were being killed in there and how brutal the battle was. She had her hands folded across her chest while holding Jason's hoodie tight to keep the cold away and there was a healthy shade of red near her cheeks from the heat her body was producing to counter the cold air of the mountain.
Jason decided that he wasn't going to beat around the bush and he simply told Riyala.
"I'm killing the Phantoms. Do you want to see?"
Riyala's eyes widened when she heard what Jason said and she thought about Jason's question for a few seconds before she slowly nodded to him. Jason spread his mana over Riyala and he tweaked the [Black Fog] skill so that she would also be able to see through the fog, and Riyala's eyes widened in shock as she stumbled back immediately!
There were dead bodies everywhere! The Phantoms were spread out across the fog and some of them were fighting back against Jason's subordinates, but they didn't stand a chance against monsters that were attacking from the darkness. Jason's subordinates were tearing and dismembering all the Phantoms so one-sidedly that it was impossible to even call it a fight!
"S-Stop. I don't want to see this anymore."
Riyala turned away while closing her eyes. Even though she was used to violence, this was still too much for her to stomach! Jason hummed as he took away Riyala's ability to see through the fog and Riyala released a sigh of relief as she tried to keep her meal down. Jason started to walk down the mountain and into the fog and Riyala scrambled to catch up to him.
Riyala knew about the Phantoms, and the rumors that she had heard from the teachers in her world told her that they were a ruthless band of assassins that were impossible to catch because of their ability to move through shadows, so she couldn't believe how easily Jason was tearing through their numbers. None of the Phantoms were able to escape and Riyala could only guess that it had something to do with the Fog. Jason must've blocked their ability to use the shadows somehow.
Riyala wanted to ask Jason more questions, but she tried to focus on getting down from the mountain first. It was a steep drop but Jason made it look easy with how quickly he was moving down. Riyala stumbled when she tried to catch up to Jason, and Jason caught her shoulder before she could fall. She looked up into his red eyes and he spoke calmly.
"Be careful."
Riyala felt a small blush rising on her face and she nodded in embarrassment before she finally got her footing back and continued following after Jason.
Jason finally made his way to the flat ground at the bottom of the valley and he walked into the fog with Riyala following after him. The moment she entered the darkness, Riyala immediately stumbled as she cried out.
"Jason? Jason!?"
Riyala couldn't see anything in front of her! Her ears were ringing with a white noise that made her feel like she was deaf and she couldn't even feel the breeze that she had felt just a few seconds ago! She was about to really lose her cool when a hand reached out and grabbed her shoulder. Riyala turned sharply to see Jason there and she felt pure relief course through her body.
"I said stay close."
Jason spoke loudly, but Riyala could barely hear him. She quickly moved to stand right beside him and she followed like a kitten following their parent as he made his way deeper into the fog.
As the pair walked, they came upon many gory sights. The bodies of dead Phantoms littered the region randomly. There were pools of blood and body parts all around, and Riyala felt like she would puke more than a few times. Riyala would have asked Jason to allow her to see through the fog again, but just the thought of all those dead bodies was enough to make her stop. She would rather keep following Jason than see all of that again!
They arrived at a large tent in the center of the campsite and Jason called on one of the Phantoms that he had resurrected. Jason told the Phantom to move toward the tent and he activated [Eye of The King]. The Phantom walked forward and entered the tent, and there was an immediate explosion as the Phantom was pushed back out! Jason was able to see in that brief second that the leader of the Phantoms was standing at the opposite end of the tent with a large magical weapon in her hand and Jason clicked his tongue and ordered the Rook-Based Adamantine Ant Soldier, Dino, to go and apprehend her.
Dino ran in with a screech and three more magical blasts suddenly rang out from inside the tent! But the adamantine Ant had extremely high defenses, so the blasts barely did any damage at all! Dino grabbed the weapon away from the leader with its mandibles before it slammed its body against her and threw her across the tent!
Alpha grunted as she slammed into some of the gold chests that were arranged at one side and she glared at the Adamantine Ant as it released another loud screech! She got ready for another attack from it, but she was surprised when it didn't move to attack her again. Instead, the ant turned away and took a few steps to the side with the weapon still in its mandibles and another figure opened the flap and walked inside.

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC180: Do You Understand?
Chapter 180: Do You Understand?
The first person Alpha saw walking into the tent was the Radagan princess they had been looking for all this time, and Alpha felt anger fill her heart as she thought about killing the foolish girl right then. But Alpha's attention was immediately stolen by the other person who entered.
He was a handsome man with a mana signature unlike anything Alpha had ever seen before. In her time as an assassin, Alpha had seen, fought, and killed many creatures and species from different worlds, but she had always been able to tell exactly what sort of creatures she was fighting just from sensing their mana signature! But the man in front of her now was like a combination of many different signatures that made no sense! His Essence was completely unreadable! He was barely human, barely a Moonlight Wolf, and he also had a percentage of the Dragonblood gene in him!
But there was a main mana signature he possessed that Alpha could not place her finger on. It was dominating and more intense than anything that Alpha had ever felt before!
"What in the world are you?"
Alpha's eyes narrowed as she glared at Jason, but Jason frowned when he couldn't understand a word she said. A system prompt immediately popped up.
[Foreign Language detected...]
[Analysing...]
[Analysing...]
[Analysing...]
[Analysing...]
[Foreign language has been identified as the [Demon] Language from the world of Raksha. Will the user like to assimilate this language? Yes/No?]
Jason immediately chose yes, and he felt a strange sensation travel across his tongue as the language was automatically registered in his brain. Jason ran his tongue across his teeth a few times to get rid of the tingling sensation before he finally spoke to Alpha in the Raksha tongue.
"Get up."
Raksha felt shock pass through her body when she saw a human speaking her tongue, and she eyed the monster standing at the side cautiously as she slowly stood up. Alpha could tell that both the monster and Jason were stronger than her, so she didn't make any rash movements. Her shadow ability wasn't allowing her to leave this tent for some reason, and she would have to come up with some other way to escape if she wanted to leave here alive.
"Do you know who I am, Alpha?"
Jason's question put Alpha on edge, and she slowly shook her head in the negative. Jason nodded.
"Yes, I'm sure you wouldn't know me. But you see, I know a lot about you. I know you're willing to do anything to complete a mission. Killing children, assassinating fathers and mothers, eradicating entire towns and villages. Nothing is too low for you, and you complete all your missions with complete professionalism... But you see, you made a mistake, Alpha."
Jason reached into his Alternate Dimension and pulled out a dagger, and Alpha's eyes narrowed when she saw that it was one of the poison daggers that her men use! Alpha immediately decided that she wasn't interested in sticking around and finding out what Jason was going to do next and she activated her Shadow ability to fall into the shadow of the tent! But a single order from Jason sent the adamantine Ant into the shadows as well and Alpha was dragged out by her hair and thrown to the ground in shock!
'He can use the shadows as well!? What have I gotten myself into!?'
Alpha couldn't understand what was going on! Her shadow ability was something that just anyone could learn! It was special to her! How in the world did he learn how to use it!? Jason kept his intense stare throughout Alpha's escape attempt and Alpha grit her teeth desperately when she finally turned to him!
Jason continued talking like he had never been interrupted in the first place.
"You see, this knife was used by one of your men to kill the woman I love..."
Jason walked towards Alpha slowly as the pressure in the room began to increase in intensity, and Alpha slowly began calling on her mana. There were a few rings on Alpha's left hand that were power-boosting artifacts, and the moment she felt Jason releasing mana, she sent mana towards her left hand to try and activate the ring's properties!
ROARR!
A wolf suddenly appeared from behind Alpha and grabbed her left hand before she could activate the artifacts! The wolf bit down hard on her hand and Alpha bit her lip hard as she felt her left hand come off! Where the hell did the wolf come from!? She was sure there were no beasts behind her just a second ago!
Jason was still walking towards Alpha while ignoring the river of blood pouring out from her detached arm, and Jason lashed out and grabbed her by the neck once he was close enough.
"Your subordinates took this knife and ran it across her stomach without any thought..."
A hollow smile appeared on Jason's face as he slowly ran the blade across Alpha's midsection!
Slash!
"...Just like that."
Alpha gasped in shock at the action and she fell to her knees once Jason released her! She grabbed her stomach in pain as she felt the neurotoxin starting to take effect, and Jason crouched down and spoke to her as she struggled.
"Do you have any idea what it was like for me to see her struggling like that? Do you know what I had to do to make sure she didn't leave me? No, you don't know anything. You've probably never loved a thing in your life before. But don't worry, I'm not a vindictive person. I won't keep you alive and make you suffer forever because of what you did. Instead, I'm going to leave you here to die slow..."
Alpha clawed her way forward with a resolute look on her face and headed for a bag a few meters away from her. Jason gave a mental command to Fenrir, and the wolf came and grabbed the bag before taking it away. Alpha immediately deflated at that action and fell back to the ground.
Jason grabbed her hair and pulled her up so that she was looking at him. There was blood leaking from one side of her mouth, and the blood she had lost from her detached arm was staining the floor with red, but there was still an intense defiance in her gaze. Jason didn't even react to it as he continued talking.
"...but you dying slow isn't going to be enough for me to forget what you did. No, even after your death, I'm going to bring your soul back to life. I'll personally make sure that you never make it to the Rivers of the Afterlife, and just like your followers carried out your every instruction without question, you will have no choice but to do my bidding. You will be my pet. My loyal, obedient pet that will starve for my attention. Everything that you are and everything that you've ever been will only exist to serve me for the rest of your undead life."
As Jason spoke, he watched Alpha's face slowly morph from a look of defiance, to dread, and finally to mortification. Alpha finally understood how Jason was able to get all these monsters to obey him and how he killed so many of her men at once. He was a Necromancer!
This was bad! If there was one thing that Alpha would never wish on anyone, it was for them to be targeted by a Necromancer! She had heard the stories about how Necromancers could rewrite your soul and make you bound to the Necromancer forever! A small part of your soul would still be conscious enough to know that you weren't meant to be obeying the Necromancer, but the larger parts of you would completely overwhelm that small part and you would be tied to the Necromancer for the rest of your undead life! Jason's words were not just empty threats! They were real!
She needed to think of something! Anything that would help her get out of this! If she offered him money, he would still kill her! He blames her for killing his lover, so it would be nearly impossible for him to let her go!

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC181: Arcane Art
Chapter 181: Arcane Art
"Mmh."
A whimper suddenly came from behind the pair and Jason turned to see Riyala looking away with a sick look on her face. She was slightly blue and she looked like she was about to puke from the amount of blood staining the floor. Even though Riyala was used to violence, Jason had to remember that she was a princess, so she was not used to seeing such gruesome sights.
Jason sighed as he threw Alpha back to the ground and gave Fenrir an order! The wolf growled as it approached Alpha and Alpha quickly spoke up!
"Wait! I can offer something for my life. The people who hired me—you won't be able to find out who they are if you kill me."
Jason glanced back at Alpha's desperate face. Alpha must've thought that killing her would also make her memories vanish, and she was trying to use those memories as a bargaining chip to spare her life, but she couldn't have been more wrong. Jason turned away in disinterest, and Alpha cried out again as Fenrir pounced on her!
ROARRR!
Riyala was staring at the gory scene like she was incapable of moving, and Jason moved to stand in front of Riyala and blocked her view. Alpha's screams filled the tent from the intense pain, and Riyala tried her best not to put her hand up to block her ears. She looked up at Jason and saw that Jason's face was literally set in stone! Jason stared into empty space like there wasn't a literal woman being torn to shreds in front of him, and he stayed that way and watched stoically until the moment she died.
The sound of multiple notifications appearing simultaneously echoed through Jason's system.

Arcane Arts are a special brand of Magic that can only be gained by the combination of various Magic Attributes. Attributes can be seen as unique Magic Skills that do not require any mana in order to be activated or used. It is believed that Arcane Arts were created by the Divine Celestials more than a millennium ago, but their true origin is unknown.
Various Magic Attributes make up a single Arcane Art, and these Attributes are passed down to whichever Magic Wielder is capable of taking the life of a previous Attribute holder. The skill [Wandering Shadows] was created to mimic the true Attribute [Shadow Walker] that is currently held by the leader of the Phantoms, Alpha. Resurrecting the rest of the Phantoms will give the user the full power of the Attribute.
In order to gain the full power of an Arcane Art, the user must obtain all the various Magic Attributes that make up that Art.

Jason's eyes narrowed curiously when he saw the messages sent by the system. The message about his new title caught Jason's attention first, and Jason read through the benefits quickly before dismissing it and focusing on the message about Arcane Arts and Attributes. What the hell? Jason read through the descriptions for both of those terms and he was surprised by what he saw there. So the Attributes were basically skills that didn't take any mana to be activated? And when you gain all the attributes that make up a particular Arcane Art, then you'll have the full power of that art. That was freaking awesome. There were skills out there that took very little mana, but they still took mana from you and made you divide your attention to make sure that you didn't run out of mana. But Attributes were just free to use.
It would be very useful if you were facing off against someone who was far stronger than you or even on the same level. Having a skill that never drained your mana was a cheat code to ensure you could always keep fighting. Jason finally closed down the notifications from the system before he glanced at Alpha's dead body. He ran a hand through his hair as he told Fenrir to get the body out of his sight. He would resurrect it later.
"Take the magic crystals from all the dead bodies and gather anything valuable around."
Jason gave orders to all the Legion members outside the tent, and they began following Jason's orders and gathered all the weapons and magic crystals from the dead bodies. There were a lot of bags of gold in the leader's tent, and Jason watched as Raya brought one of the bags over and placed it at his feet. When Jason looked inside, he saw that it was filled to the brim with gold coins and he hummed curiously while trying to guess how many pieces were inside.
The bag wasn't too large, so Jason guessed that there were about two hundred gold coins in one bag, and since there were close to a hundred bags in the tent, that meant he would be getting just over twenty thousand gold coins.
"I wonder how much these will go for back on Earth."
Jason shook his head as he told his Legion to gather all the gold and artifacts as well. Jason was certain that the Phantoms had stolen the gold from the worlds they visited, so he didn't feel anything about taking it for himself. Jason went to take a seat at a chair at the side and he leaned back tiredly while closing his eyes. His senses immediately traveled into the Alternate Dimension and settled on Gina's prone body. Gina was lying on a grassy field with a few subordinates sitting around her. Jason felt an intense emotion rising from his heart as he looked at her. It was something that he couldn't even begin to explain, but just looking at her like this made him feel empty.
Jason remained that way for the next few minutes. He simply waited for his subordinates to tell him that they were done with his instructions, and once he got the message from Raya, he slowly leaned forward on his seat and opened his eyes. There were various bags of gold as well as artifacts and weapons sitting in front of him and Jason noticed Riyala looking at one of the artifacts in awe. Jason asked Riyala what she was looking at and Riyala bent and picked up a necklace that was in the pile while talking.
"This necklace... it's from Radagan. Or at least, I think it is. It has the same carving that our weapons do, so it had to have been made by someone from our world. I don't know what it does, but I think it's a support item."
Jason hummed as he stretched his hand out for the necklace and Riyala calmly handed it over. Jason activated [Appraisal].
