STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC240: Running Wild
Chapter 240: Running Wild
Jason watched as Raya and the other Adamantine Ants quickly began to dispatch the other undead horses, but his eyes were mainly on the horse that lost one of its legs. The horse looked like it was seriously uncomfortable, but it didn't look to be in pain. It moved around on the ground for a while before it began to rise up again with only three legs as it charged forward once more to attack an Adamantine Ant!
'Even pain is nothing to them. So this is what it feels like to fight against a Legion of Undead.'
Jason was finally starting to fully understand the sheer brutality of his own abilities and he could now see why most of the monsters he had fought against were so terrified of him and his Legion. Anyone would be scared of a beast that didn't stay down no matter how injured it was. But Jason didn't feel even the slightest bit of fear. At that moment, he was taking as much information as possible from the fight, and he was watching to see just how strong these beasts were.
Finally, after a few more clashes, Raya snapped her mandibles through the belly of one horse and tore it in half. The horse fell to the side with a loud cry and twitched for a moment before it went still.

Raya turned to focus on another undead horse and Jason put his hand out towards the fallen monster and spread his mana out.
"Resurrect."
Doon!
Jason's mana surged across the area as it reached forward to try and grab the soul of the dead beast, but Jason felt his eyes narrow in anger when he found out that there was nothing there for his mana to hold onto! There was no fucking soul! Jason cursed as he realized that his fears were coming true! Jason already knew that it was a fifty-fifty chance for the dead creatures to still have their soul, but now he was sure that they definitely didn't have it anymore. Jason wouldn't be able to resurrect any of them!
ROARRR!
ROARRR!
ROARR!!
Loud roars filled the dark sky, and Jason looked forward quickly to see multiple arms breaking out from underground. The arms were pale and skeletal, and Jason immediately knew that these were more of the Lich's subordinates.
'I need to get to that city and find a vantage point! I'll get surrounded if I stay down here.'
Jason immediately called out to the Skyking and another Iron Bladed Falcon, and they appeared from Jason's Alternate Dimension and let out a loud cry. Jason told the Iron Bladed Falcon to fly past the undead monsters and scout the surrounding for any sign of the Lich and he commanded the Skyking to take him to the city! One of the Undead horses managed to get past the Adamantine Ants and charged towards Jason, but Jason just smacked it away nonchalantly before he got on the Skyking's back and told it to take off!

The Skyking flew through the air quickly, and Jason looked down to see more than a hundred different beasts emerging from underground and slowly clawing their way to the surface. Most of them turned up to look directly at him, and Jason frowned as he called Ragnar to test something out. Ragnar appeared from the Alternate Dimension with a loud roar, and Jason gave it one order.
'Burn them.'
Jason's order was simple and straightforward and Ragnar circled around and headed down to the ground before it opened its maw and unleashed pure destruction on the monsters! The fire washed over the land like a blanket of yellow and Jason watched with narrowed eyes to see what would happen. Jason didn't think that one blast would be enough to take them down since they were somewhere around Rook Rank I, but he was surprised when he got some notifications in his system.

Jason hummed as the Skyking swerved to the side and kept moving towards the city. The undead monsters weren't all dead yet, and there were still some stragglers crawling their way out from under the dead bodies of their comrades, but Ragnar's flames managed to kill a significant number of them. Jason commanded Ragnar to take them all out and Ragnar let out a roar and circled back through the air to unleash another wave of yellow destruction as he passed over them.
Jason didn't think that the monsters would be taken out so easily by Ragnar's fire, but that told him one of two things. Either they weren't as strong as Jason gave them credit for, or they were actually weak to fire. The sound of more monsters arriving from the distance forced Jason to turn around and this time, Jason felt his eyes widen when he saw the monsters running towards him at breakneck speeds. There were some strange and unrecognizable magic beasts there that looked nothing like the magic beasts Jason normally saw in Gates, and Jason just guessed that they were from worlds that were too far away.
The monsters had large bodies with rotten skin that stretched over their body like soggy paper, but they still had enough intelligence to avoid some of the attacks from the Adamantine Ants and Ragnar. Jason didn't bother to wait and see what they could do! He commanded the Skyking to go faster, and they soared over the surface of the city and headed for the tallest building in the distance! The city hadn't yet been overrun by the strange undead monsters, but Jason could see some hands tearing themselves out from underground. He knew that it wouldn't be long before they filled the city as well.
Jason finally reached the building and he let go of the Skyking and landed on the edge! Jason turned around calmly to watch the monsters coming towards the city and he raised his collar higher to cover his lower face as a harsh wind blew across the region and pulled the smell of smoke and rotton skin with it. Jason let his eyes roam over the undead monsters approaching him, and he thought about using the Black Fog again, but he decided against it since it used up too much mana. If Jason wanted to cover an area as large as a city, then he would lose more than ten thousand units of mana, and since he was trying to preserve mana as much as possible, he had to think of something else.
Jason's face was perfectly calm as he stood in the midst of the growing battle, but his mind was running at a pace that would have caused nearly anyone else to go insane. Jason's ability to consider the situation in front of him and come up with the best course of action was unparalleled by anyone else. It was the reason why he was capable of becoming the master of the Necromancer System, and it was also what gave him the confidence to stab his own lover in the heart. Jason knew that it didn't matter how bad things got, even if he was fighting against the gods themselves, he would always find a way to come out on top.
'The undead are coming from the East and South. There's a forest stretching far into the distance, but I don't know how dangerous it is. There've been two waves of undead. The first wave was only at Rook Rank I, but the second wave came from deeper inside the forest, and they looked stronger than the first. Is every wave stronger than the one before it? I need to test that.'

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC241: Absolute Carnage
Chapter 241: Absolute Carnage
Jason watched as more than a hundred undead raced after the Adamantine Ants! The undead monsters were relentless in their attack, and Jason could tell that no matter how much the Rooks fought, they would never be able to keep up with a hundred creatures that were that powerful.
'I can't resurrect the undead, so I won't be able to replenish my mana if it runs down. I have to make sure the Legion doesn't die too many times in this fight and I need to get as many Kill Points as possible. I'll use the shadows to my advantage.'
Jason told the Iron Bladed Falcons to take to the sky, and the Skyking let out a cry as he led the rest of the Falcons toward the undead and they began to unleash their bladed feathers like missiles! Jason then sent out all of his other subordinates and told them to go into the shadows. The subordinates followed Jason's order, and Jason commanded the Adamantine Ant subordinates to form a defensive line in front of the undead and stop their advance! The undead were running forward mindlessly, and it would be hard for Ragnar to aim properly if they were moving that much! The Adamantine Ants emerged from the shadow and formed a long line in front of the undead! The undead slammed into them with the force of a thousand battling rams, but the Adamantine Ants held their ground and made sure the line stayed in place! Most of them were rook subordinates, so even if they weren't up to the Rook class, they still had enough defense and strength to hold their line.
Once Jason was sure the undead weren't going to move, he told Ragnar to circle round again and unleash more fire on them! The Adamantine Ants all fell into the shadow once Jason gave his order, and Ragnar let out a roar as he appeared from the side and began to burn the undead monsters again.

Jason raised his hand to the side and ordered his Legion to move the undead monsters towards the west so they wouldn't swarm the city, and they obeyed and began to attack from the east so that the monsters would move in that direction! Ragnar circled around again and began moving towards the undead monsters, and Jason glanced at Ragnar's system tab as he passed.

Jason frowned at this, but he didn't let it bother him as he watched Ragnar unleash another blast on the enemies, and a new notification appeared in Jason's system.

"I need more."
Jason frowned as he ordered both Ragnar and Raya to continue their rampage against the monsters while telling the weaker Rooks and Pawns to act as distractions and walls to guide the undead monsters toward Ragnar and Raya. Jason knew that he couldn't resurrect the undead minions, but that doesn't mean he couldn't get stronger. Jason was still getting kill points, and that meant he was still able to upgrade the monsters he already had under his control. Jason was going to make both Ragnar and Raya fight like their lives depended on it, and then he would use the kill points he got to upgrade them so they would make his job easier.
Jason suddenly blinked when he got a message from the Iron Bladed Falcon that he had sent out to scout earlier. The Falcons had reached far into the distance, but it had to stop when it saw hundreds of undead creatures flying toward Jason's location quickly. Jason's eyes narrowed at this information before he quickly thought up a plan.
Jason commanded five Adamantine Ant Rooks Rank I's to quickly begin moving towards the incoming horde of flying undead. The Adamantine Ant Rooks all took off from the battlefield together with thier subordinates, and Jason watched through the [Eye of the King] as they got closer! The horde of undead formed a giant crowd in the sky, and Jason guessed that there would be no less than two hundred monsters up there! Jason couldn't let them join the battle here since they would likely overwhelm Ragnar and Raya, so Jason gave an order to the Ants he sent out.
"Adamantine Ant Rooks, get into the center of the horde, and then kill yourselves."
Jason suddenly sent a message out, and all five Rooks let out loud screeches as they accepted Jason's command! They allowed the large mass of flying monsters to surround and consume them and they didn't bother fighting back as they were thrown about and attacked! It wasn't until they got deep into the middle of the undead that they activated the Rook-based skill from the third Milestone Reward.
[Kamikaze]!!
TWOOM!
A massive surge of mana suddenly erupted across the dark sky of Ruen! The Kamikaze skill allowed all of Jason's rooks to unleash a blast of mana in the shape of a cross in order to eradicate all the enemies around them. This mana would be ten times more potent than their current power level, and it would end up taking their lives along with those of the monsters around them! The flying undead that were headed for Jason were only around Rook Rank I in strength, so once the five identical explosions tore through the sky, they stood no chance!
Jason watched with a calm look on his face as the undead began falling from the sky like smoking meteors! The sky was brightly lit with the fire from the Kamikaze explosions, and it allowed Jason to get a better look at the large horde of monsters that were below him. Jason narrowed his eyes when he saw that the monsters were starting to kill some of his Legion members, and he turned to see that he had gotten another notification.

"Still not enough."
Jason frowned at the number, and he looked up to see that there was still a large number of monsters headed his way. Jason quickly told the Iron Bladed Falcon to head out again and keep looking for the Lich, and it released a screech as it went on doing as it was told! Jason commanded Ragnar to come to him, and he ran off the top of the building and jumped on Ragnar's back as he passed through! Both of them flew through the sky, and Jason watched as the rampaging undead monsters entered the city and began climbing the buildings in an effort to try and reach him.
Although Jason had been careful to make sure his Legion didn't suffer too many casualties in the fight, he had still lost close to fifty of the weaker ones in the battle, and he had to avoid resurrecting them for now since he needed to preserve mana and stamina.

Jason and Ragnar circled around the battlefield, and Ragnar's mouth began to let out smoke as he flew over the large horde of monsters. Jason pulled back his head at the same time that Ragnar opened his maw, and the both of them unleashed fire at the same time.

PHWOOM!
The combined attack washed over the horde with ruthless intensity, and Jason's system continued bringing up more tabs to announce the dead monsters.

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC242: Is He from the Institute?
Chapter 242: Is He from the Institute?
[With the Immortal Lich]
Logof, the immortal lich, turned away from the journal he had been reading when he felt something strange in the distance. His eyes narrowed as he felt an explosion echo through the world and he couldn't help but wonder what the hell was going on out there. Logof had sent his subordinates to eradicate the wanderer who came into this world a few minutes ago, and he had already predicted that it wouldn't take more than twenty minutes for him to be killed. Even though he was powerful, that didn't mean he could handle an entire horde of monsters on his own.
But all those thoughts flew out the window the moment he realized that there was something off about this wanderer. The Immortal Lich could see through the eyes of his subordinates, and from what he had seen, it was obvious that this man had no intention of leaving! The Immortal Lich thought the man would try to fight against his subordinates so he could run away, but it was almost like the man was actively trying his best to stay in this world! The man was fighting his subordinates and slowly coming closer to the Lich's location!
'Did he come here to look for me? Is he one of the Magical Institute's researchers?'
The Lich had this thought as he stared out of the cave and into the darkened sky, but he decided that this couldn't be the case. The Magic Institute would never send a single person to do their dirty work. They had a military that carried out their subjugation missions, and if they ever discovered where he was, then the Lich was sure that they would send hundreds of soldiers to apprehend him. That meant this man was an independent warrior who had his own reasons for fighting.
The Lich watched the battle between the intruder and his subordinates, and he couldn't help but be impressed. The intruder had hundreds of subordinates of his own, and they were all obeying his orders perfectly.
'Were they summons of some kind? They fight with unbelievable ferocity. This man must be an expert tamer if he can make magic beasts throw their lives away so easily for him.'
The Lich has still not seen Jason resurrecting any of his subordinates, so the Lich couldn't tell that the Legion were also an immortal army. The Lich simply thought that Jason had hundreds of monster subordinates and was using them expertly. Jason was slowly pushing against the hundreds of undead minions that the Lich had sent to kill him, and the Lich decided that he would need to bring out some of his stronger subordinates if he wanted to finish this quickly.
'Paladins, go and finish off the intruders.'
The Lich gave the order while walking towards the edge of his cave, and he watched as the entire forest began to shake as his Paladins slowly emerged from the ground.
...
The Paladins were a group of fifty powerful soldiers that the Lich had captured a few years ago. Each of them was extremely tall, towering over the forest by close to twenty feet, and they wore dull gold armor over their bodies. They each had a tall shield in one hand and a sword in the other, and when they walked, the ground under their feet shook from the intensity of their movement. They were all S Rank in strength, strong enough to rival any Rook Rank II beast that was part of Jason's Legion.
Jason and Ragnar were still busy unleashing fire on the large horde of undead monsters when Jason heard rumbling coming from the forest. Jason told Ragnar to stop, and the beast turned around to face the forest properly. The sound of the monsters moving was already reaching the battlefield, but they were still very far away, so Jason used the [Eye of the King] on one of his subordinates who was close, and he felt his eyes widen in surprise when he saw the fifty giant giants that were coming towards them!
Jason cursed internally and quickly began to think of what to do. Many of his subordinates were already at a point where they could be upgraded to the next Rank, and Jason quickly began to perform calculations in his head to see which ones he needed to upgrade first.
——
Kill Points: 115,232
——
Mana Points: 57,426/73,756
——
Raya had finally reached a hundred percent in her progression, so Jason could upgrade her, but Ragnar was still at 91%, and Jason needed to fight a bit longer and kill more monsters before he could upgrade him. It would take fifteen thousand Kill Points to upgrade Ragnar, so Jason just had to make sure he held onto those fifteen thousand so he could use them on Ragnar later and he woudl use as many kill points as possible to upgrade the others!
[Would the user like to convert 80,000 Kill Points to Upgrade Points? Yes/No?]
Jason chose yes, and he watched as the points shifted in his system. His kill points reduced to only about thirty thousand, and his upgrade points increased by eight hundred. Jason quickly scanned over all the Rook Rank subordinates in his Legion to see which ones had reached a hundred percent in their Rank Progression. The battle had only been going on for about an hour, but most of the monsters had been fighting nonstop, so most of them had reached a hundred percent already. The Skyking was the first one that caught Jason's eyes, and Jason immediately tossed fifty Upgrade Points towards it and watched as it grew larger and stronger than before. Its feathers became more lustrous and tougher, and it let out a louder cry as it soared through the air and unleashed a rain of feathered arrows on the undead monsters below.
——
Mana Points: 59,426/75,756
——
Once Jason upgraded Skyking, he felt his own stats and mana increase as well, and he grinned as he also sent Upgrade Points to five Adamantine Ant Rooks Rank I's that had gotten strong enough! Even though Jason couldn't gain mana from resurrection, there were still many other ways to get more powerful! Jason watched as the Adamantine Ants grew in strength and began to push back the undead monsters, and his mana level rose again to account for the growth of his Legion.
That upgrade took up another two hundred and fifty upgrade points, and Jason only had five hundred left. The Swamp Viper Boss, Salazar, was fighting with the other monsters on one side, but Jason could tell that it was struggling since it wasn't used to fighting in such a dry environment. It hadn't even killed more than three monsters, and Jason decided that it was better to just use it to perform another Kamikaze.
Jason told Salazar to move deeper into the crowd of undead before killing itself, and the large serpent released a loud hiss as it began to slither through the horde. Jason then turned back to Raya and watched as she tore through multiple undead monsters on the ground! Raya let out a screech as she grabbed one of the monsters in her mandibles and then activated [Linear Charge] to blast straight through the horde that was trying to surround her!
TWOOM!
KA-BOOM!
A massive blast echoed throughout the region at the same time that Raya appeared on the other side of the battlefield, and Jason could tell without even looking that it was Salazar who had used Kamikaze to kill multiple undead monsters! Raya screeched as she threw the already dead monster she was holding to the side, and Jason quickly sent some upgrade points to her!

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC243: A Giant Problem
Chapter 243: A Giant Problem
Raya stiffened once she noticed the sudden influx of mana, and her body began to grow stronger once again! This time, the tattoo on the right side of her stomach changed from the number two to the number three. Her shell grew tougher, and short spikes grew out from her body as an added form of defense! Raya was now a Rook Rank III, and all the other monsters that had been fighting around her seemed to notice her sudden increase in power as they charged for her with more intensity than before!
——

[Subordinate Count: 20/50]
[Upgrade Points: 0/500]
[Upgrade Limit: Bishop Rank III]
[MP: 15,000]
——
"Five hundred!?"
Jason felt shock pass through his body when he saw the amount of upgrade points it would take for him to raise Raya from Rook Rank III to Bishop Rank I! It was astronomical, and it made no sense at all. That meant he would have to spend fifty thousand Kill Points to upgrade just one Rook Rank III to a Bishop!? Jason cursed internally as he shook his head! He was angry about the steep increase, but he knew that he couldn't afford to lose his cool in the middle of a battle!
Jason steered Ragnar to the left as he saw Raya charging up a new [Linear Charge], and once she activated the skill, she blasted across the air and tore through more than twenty monsters at the same time! Jason saw the notifications for their kill appear in his system, and he grinned at the increase in power!
Jason quickly commanded Raya and Fenrir to go and hold back the giant monsters that were coming towards them! Those monsters were most likely on the same level as Rook Rank IIs, so Raya and Fenrir should be able to put up a good fight! Raya screeched in acceptance as she took off into the sky, and Fenrir howled to announce his location to her! Raya appeared from the air and grabbed Fenrir with her legs before they took off and headed for the incoming giants.
The disappearance of two of the strongest fighters in the Legion was immediately felt by all the other subordinates, and Jason could see how the rest of the Legion began to struggle to cover the space that Raya and Fenrir left behind! Jason steered Ragnar towards where his subordinates were struggling the most and commanded him to unleash his fire! Jason needed Ragnar to grow as quickly as possible so that he could even the odds in this fight! Even when Raya was still a Rook Rank II, Jason could tell that Ragnar was on a different level altogether. As a Rook Rank II, Ragnar was strong enough to handle both Raya and Fenrir in a fight, so it meant that Ragnar was at least twice as strong as Raya, even though they were the same rank.
This told Jason that the strength of a creature had a lot to do with what species it was, and he was sure that if Ragnar managed to grow to Rook Rank III, then he would become unstoppable! Ragnar let out a puff of smoke from his mouth as he aligned his body with the monsters below before he reared his head back and unleashed another volley of fire on them! Jason glanced towards Ragnar's tab and he saw that the Rank Progression was slowly rising, but at the same time, Ragnar's mana was dropping, and Jason narrowed his eyes when he saw that it was already below half capacity.
Ragnar was one of the only members of Jason's Legion who used extremely large amounts of mana for each of his attacks, so Jason wasn't surprised that it was already dropping so low. Jason just had to upgrade Ragnar before his mana dropped too far! Jason turned his attention towards where Raya and Fenrir were fighting against the Giants, and he watched as Raya released Fenrir from her grip and allowed him to freefall through the air once they were close enough! Fenrir immediately activated [Linear Charge] and he blasted forward and slammed into the chest of one of the Giants! The Giant let out a loud roar as it stumbled back and tackled two other Paladins to the ground, and the entire world seemed to shake from the impact once they fell down!
Raya dashed towards another one of the Giants and the Giant released a loud grunt as it raised its shield to block her advance! Raya stopped and she quickly had to move out of the way as another Giant brought its long sword down on her position! The sword cleaved through the head of the paladin that was beside Raya, but Raya was able to get out of the way quickly enough and she immediately used her [Linear Charge] to destroy three Paladins that were in a straight line in front of her!
Multiple Giants quickly focused their attention on Raya as they began to surround her while the other Giants continued moving forward to reach Jason and his Legion. Jason knew that he couldn't allow those Giants to get to this battlefield since it would turn things in the favor of the undead monsters too much, so he called on the Dragonborn Imperial Guard in his Legion! The Dragonborn guard appeared behind Jason, and Jason quickly jumped off Ragnar's neck and began to fall through the air!
Phwoom!
The Skyking immediately flew across the air and caught Jason on its back before he could fall, and Jason held on and told the Skyking to head for the Giants that were coming for them! Behind Jason, Ragnar and the Dragonborn both unleashed fire on the large horde of monsters beneath them, and Jason commanded them to keep attacking until Ragnar reached a hundred percent in his Hierarchy Progression!

The Skyking swerved around some monsters that tried to attack them, and it was about to stop and attack another monster at its side, but Jason told it not to bother as he unleashed a wave of blades to attack the monster and kill it! The Skyking continued flying without bothering to stop for anything, and Jason used all of the skills in his arsenal to keep all the monsters away from them! Black Fog burst out from Jason's body and surrounded both of them to block the monsters from seeing them, and Jason continued to release the fog as they passed quickly through the horde!
Once they broke out from the battlefield, the Skyking swerved to the right to head towards where the Giants were coming from, and it wasn't long before they saw tens of Giants coming in their direction! Jason narrowed his eyes as he released a puff of smoke from his mouth, and once they were close enough, Jason reared his head back and unleashed a firestorm!
[Emberstorm] has been activated!
The flames slammed into the first Giant, and it let out a loud roar as it raised its sword and brought it down on the Skyking! The Skyking swerved to the right to avoid the blade, and Jason activated [Ironstorm] and unleashed more than a hundred blades towards the various Giants! Jason aimed for the Giants' heads and tried his best to hit their eyes, and he was rewarded with loud cries as more than five Giants had their eyes pierced by the blades!

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC244: Dune Worms
Chapter 244: Dune Worms
Jason aimed for the Giants' heads with his [Iron Storm] and tried his best to hit their eyes, and he was rewarded with a loud cry as more than three Giants had their eyes pierced by the blades! The blind Giants began to stumble around aimlessly, and they slammed into the Giants around them and began falling to the ground! Jason was right about the Giants being around Rook Rank I in strength, but being strong didn't mean that they were smart, and Jason was glad that he didn't have to put too much effort into avoiding them!
WOOSH!
Suddenly, one of the Giants dropped its sword and raised its shield up before swinging it in a wide arc to try and smack the Skyking out of the air! Jason told the Skyking to swerve to the side to avoid it, and he fired another volley of swords towards the Giant's head to blind it!
But Jason's eyes suddenly widened when he felt an intense wave of mana surge through the atmosphere! Even if Jason were asked at that moment to explain what he did next, he wouldn't be able to put it into words because of how instinctual it was, but Jason had a sudden realization that there was an even more powerful monster coming from below!
BOOM!
A giant monster suddenly flew out from underground with its mouth wide open, and Jason let out a curse as he saw it! It looked like a giant worm with no arms or legs, but it had hundreds of thousands of teeth arranged in multiple sharp rows that descended into the darkness of its mouth! Jason cursed once he saw the monster as he was suddenly reminded of that giant sea-monster that tried to swallow him whole! The worm looked like something straight out of a nightmare, and Jason couldn't help but wonder where the hell the Lich was getting subordinates like these! The time between when Jason felt the worm's mana and when the worm shot out from the ground was barely up to half a second, but that half a second was the only thing that saved Jason from getting swallowed whole! Jason got up on the back of the Skyking in one fluid motion and jumped into the air at the same time that the monster reached the Skyking! Jason created a blade using [Iron Storm] and grabbed it before he shot it forward just before the monster could close its mouth! The sword carried Jason as it blasted through the air and out of the monster's reach, and the monster finally slammed its large mouth closed around the Skyking!
Jason turned around to see the monster falling back into the ground, and he narrowed his eyes as he called on Raya and told her to catch him! Raya abandoned her fight and raced toward Jason's location, and Jason let go of the sword and fell on Raya's back before he told her to swerve to the left! Raya did as she was told, and not a moment later, another large worm burst out from the ground as it tried to take a bite out of Raya! The worms were at least twice as large as the Giants, and even though they weren't revealing their full length, Jason could only guess that they were more than a hundred feet long.

Jason quickly used up some of his mana to resurrect the Skyking, and he frowned as he continued moving around on Raya's back.
'How many monsters does this bastard have? I've killed more than four hundred of them, but they just keep coming! I need to find him soon. At this rate, the Legion's going to get overwhelmed before I can finish him off.'
Jason allowed his senses to travel towards the Iron Bladed Falcons that he had sent out as scouts, and he frowned when he saw that they still hadn't found the Lich. The Falcons were flying across the entire surface of the world to find the Lich. They were searching for any area that had a sufficient amount of mana, but all they had seen so far were a group of goat-legged people that were hiding in an underground shelter. Jason told them to ignore everything and continue searching, and the Falcons released obedient cries as they kept flying around! Jason turned back to the fight after that, and he moved Raya to the right as another large worm appeared from the ground!
BOOM!
This time, the worm was too close to one of the Giants and it ended up tearing off the Giant's legs and half its body when it closed its mouth! Jason hummed when he saw the giant twitching on the ground, and he realized that the worms weren't picking who they attacked. The worms were stronger than the Giants, and they were more than willing to kill the Giant if they got in their way, so all Jason had to do was to get the worms and Giants to handle each other!
'It's not going to be easy, but if I can draw the Giants towards the worms, then I can reduce their numbers quickly.'
Raya turned around a large sword that came towards them, and she dived down to avoid a shield bash from another Giant! Jason felt a surge of mana from under him and he quickly made Raya shift away from the incoming attack as another worm flew out from underground with its mouth wide open! The Giants that had tried to attack Raya earlier were still in the way, so the worm ended up taking an arm from each of them, and Jason quickly commanded Raya to turn around and use [Linear Charge] on the Giants!
TWOOM!
Raya charged forward like a gatling gun and slammed into the stomach of the Giant! She easily tore into the Giant's stomach and carved a hole through it as she burst out from its other side! The Giant released a loud groan as it fell back to the ground, and Jason got a notification in his system!

Jason and Raya dodged around the sword of another Giant and Jason told Raya to focus on dodging the attacks while he turned his attention towards the battle that was going on between the rest of his Legion and the undead monsters back in the city! Ragnar and the Dragonborn Imperial Guard were roaming across the battlefield like executioners and unleashing blasts of fire that destroyed dozens of monsters at a time. Many of the flying undead began to gather around Ragnar once they noticed that he was the one causing the most damage, but the Iron Bladed Falcons and Adamantine Ants made sure to form a protective space around Ragnar to prevent any of the monsters from getting close!
Ragnar unleashed another blast as he soared over the battlefield, and Jason gained a wide grin when he saw that Ragnar's Hierarchy Progression had finally reached a hundred percent! Finally!

Jason immediately chose 'yes' as Raya swerved away from another sword swing from a Giant Paladin, and Jason could literally feel the moment when Ragnar's power rose from Rank II to Rank III! The entire world seemed to shake down to its foundation as a pulse of mana travelled over the land, and Jason watched through the eyes of his subordinates as Ragnar's body began to change! Ragnar's wingspan grew larger and wider, and his body grew stronger! His teeth became sharper and the dangerous glint in his eyes became more deadly as he raised his head and unleashed a terrifying roar into the sky!

Jason could hear Ragnar's roar from all the way on the other side of the battlefield, and he grinned as he sent a single command to Ragnar.
'Kill them all.'
Ragnar didn't need to be told anything more than that as he charged down and opened his mouth towards the monsters on the ground! A bright yellow light shone from within Ragnar's dark mouth, and the light seemed to squeeze in on itself like a deflating balloon as the pressure in the region began to soar to immeasurable levels! The monsters on the ground all seemed to realize at the same time that they were in serious trouble once they felt that pressure, but there was nothing any of them could do! A sudden sonic wave spread out from just in front of Ragnar's mouth before Ragnar unleashed his attack!
KA-TOOM!!
It sounded more like an underwater missile than a blast of dragonfire, but the destruction it created was undeniable! The dragonbreath struck the ground like a fucking nuclear bomb! The ground right beneath Ragnar was immediately boiled into lava! The rocks and sand bubbled and began to solidify into glass, and the heatwave spread out across the land as it scorched everything in its path without mercy! Jason looked on using [Eye of the King], and he felt a low laugh rising from his chest when he saw the sheer destruction caused by Ragnar's new attack!
What the fuck even is that!? Ragnar had already been strong before the upgrade, but now he was literally a flying force of nature!
——
The user has killed [205] Undead Minions
+41,000 Kill Points
——
'He killed two hundred with one attack? How much mana did that attack take from him?'
Jason glanced towards Ragnar's system, and he saw that the dragonbreath had taken close to three thousand mana points to activate! Holy shit! Jason knew he shouldn't be surprised by that number since it was one of the most destructive attacks he had ever seen, but that doesn't mean he liked it! Ragnar had already used up close to ten thousand Mana Points before the upgrade, so now Ragnar had just under ten thousand mana points left! If Ragnar kept going like this, then he would run out of mana too quickly, but as long as Ragnar didn't go all out with his flaming breaths, Jason was sure that Ragnar could manage the mana he had. Jason decided to call on Ragnar to come and take care of the Giants so they wouldn't join the battle against the undead minions.
'Ragnar. Come to my location now!'
Jason sent out a message and he guided Raya to swerve out of the way as another large sword almost tore them in half!
...
'What is happening out there? Who is this man?'
The Lich was starting to get annoyed. He had been watching the fight happening since the beginning and at first thought that Jason was just another high-level summoner who could call on a lot of beasts to aid him in battle, but the longer things stretched out, the more he realized that he was very wrong! None of the summoners that the Lich had ever met were capable of doing the things that this man had done! Not only did the man know how to use elemental magic to attack, but he was also capable of bringing his subordinates back to life after they were killed.
The Lich had seen the Skyking getting killed, and he was surprised when he saw the same monster coming back to life only a few seconds later. It was obvious that there was a lot more to this man than what met the eye, and the Lich finally decided that it was time for him to get involved. The Lich shut his journal and put it beside the head of the unconscious Ruen in his cave before he turned around with a flourish to begin heading out of the cave, but before he could go far, he was surprised to see a large white Falcon flying just outside the cave entrance. The Falcon was looking at him with an intelligence that you would normally never see in an animal of this level, and the Lich felt annoyance fill him as he raised his hand and unleashed a blast of black fire to scare the bird away.
BOOM!
The Falcon cried out as it was pushed back by the heat, but the Lich was even more shocked when he saw many other Falcons that were all perched on different branches and rocky platforms around the cave entrance! They were all watching him with the same intelligent eyes, and they were letting out occasional cries while flapping their wings. The Lich felt annoyance filling his heart as he looked over all the Falcons while wondering what the hell they were doing here, but on the other side of the world, Jason Marc grinned as he finally got the Lich's location.
"Found you, fucker."
...
[Earth]
[The City of New Jersey]
Honk! Honk! Honk!
"Move the fuck out of the way, you bastard! You're blocking traffic!"
"Hey, what are you still doing at the toll gate! Get off! You know how many people are behind you!?"
Honk! Honk! Honk!
"Get out of my way!"
"Move faster!"
The sound of car horns echoed through the full length of the Washington Bridge as hundreds of people tried to cross over from New Jersey into Manhattan! There had been an announcement thirty minutes ago asking all the people living in the central area of New Jersey to vacate towards the edge of the city in preparation for a potential Yellow Gate appearance! The civilians had been confused at first when they heard that there was going to be a Yellow Gate appearing! This was the first time that they would ever get an announcement before a Gate appeared, and they wondered if it was some sort of prank that was being played on them, but there were others who didn't see it as a prank and immediately began to evacuate. And once the reluctant ones saw that the others were taking it seriously, they also began to move!
Right now, almost every street, bridge and tunnel in the city was packed with people who were trying to get out from central New Jersey! Those who were staying on the edge of the city were also trying to get further away, but the amount of traffic being generated by the central area was stopping anyone from going anywhere!
In the SMD branch in New Jersey, agents could be seen moving around with files and documents while some of the higher-ranking members of the SMD were on phone calls trying to get to the bottom of the situation! This was the first time that anything like this would be happening in the city! Hearing about a Gate before it appeared was considered impossible, and the only reason why anyone was taking it seriously at all was because of who had given them the warning in the first place!
In an office on the top floor of the SMD building in New Jersey, three executives were seated around a large table as they discussed the situation!
"You better be right about this, Liam! Putting out that evacuation warning could cost us millions if the Gate doesn't appear!"
The person who spoke was a woman wearing a well-fitted black trouser-suit. She had a beautiful face and a good figure, but she had an uptight personality, and her face was always set into a hard frown that was enough to drive anyone away from her. Her name was Florence, and she was the Head of Superhuman Correspondence in New Jersey.

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC246: Florence and Liam
Chapter 246: Florence and Liam
"You better be right about this, Liam! Putting out that evacuation warning could cost us millions if the Gate doesn't appear!"
The person that spoke was a woman wearing a well-fitted black trouser suit. She had a beautiful face and a good figure, but she wore a scowl that was enough to drive anyone away from her. Her name was Florence, and she was the Head of Superhuman Correspondence in New Jersey. She had been in the middle of work when she got the information from one of her subordinates that the Director of the SMD in New Jersey had issued an evacuation announcement, and she couldn't believe it was true until she came back here to see for herself! Florence was one of those who didn't believe that Liam was telling the truth at all! Liam was trying to tell them that some newbie superhuman had predicted a Yellow Gate before it would even appear!? Did he think they were stupid!?
Florence knew Liam as a brilliant man, so she didn't know how he could've fallen for something so idiotic!
'All this is going to blow up in his face, and I'll be right there to laugh at him. This Jason Marc is definitely lying, and this fool just believed everything he said without any question!'
Florence turned to look at Liam's handsome, chisled face, and she had to fight back a blush as she glared harder at him, but she clicked her tongue in irritation when Liam ignored her and turned away when someone else spoke from the side. The person sitting there was an older man with greying hair and dark blue eyes. He held a walking stick in front of him and his voice carried an air of wisdom in every word. This was the Director of the SMD branch in New Jersey, Tirius Edgar.
"I'm sure young Liam wouldn't have made such a decision without having sufficient trust in Mr. Jason Marc. Although he is one of the newest additions to the ranks of superhumans, we cannot deny that his abilities have continued to surprise us ever since he emerged. He is a force to be reckoned with, and his words are not to be taken lightly. My only concern now is his apparent absence in the middle of such a crisis. Liam, where did he say he was going?"
Florence frowned in annoyance when she heard Tirius talking about how important Jason was, but the moment he spoke about Jason's absence, she also turned to Liam with a questioning gaze! It was already bad enough that Jason was asking them to carry out a full evacuation on nothing but his word, but the person who told them about this incident ended up not being present at all! That didn't exactly inspire any form of confidence!
Liam ran a hand through his hair as he tried to come up with a proper explanation and Florence swallowed as she saw the way his hair fell over his eyes! Florence felt a heat pooling in her stomach, but she killed it with brutality and glared at Liam again while asking him to answer the damn question! Liam glared at her as well before he finally let out a silent sigh! In truth, Liam was also in the dark about what Jason had gone to do! The only thing Jason told him was that the other situation was far more important than this one!
'Jason is willing to leave hundreds of thousands to potentially die at this rate. That means it had to be important.'
Liam shook his head and then looked at the Director with a serious gaze while telling him that he didn't know where Jason was. Florence scoffed and Liam frowned in irritation as he turned to glare at her! Her attitude wasn't helping anyone! Florence gave Liam a cocky smirk, and Liam felt like leaping over the table and taking her head off! But the Director suddenly spoke up before things could get too heated.
"That's enough from both of you. You are both colleagues, so you would do well to work together in this crisis. Florence, how many guilds have you managed to gather?"
Florence had been put in charge of bringing together as many high-level guilds as possible, and she nodded as she slid a document toward him before talking.
"We managed to gather ten A-Rank guilds and fifteen B-Rank guilds. The BloodRaven guild leader is currently under investigation, but we employed the services of many of their branch members and vice captains since this is an emergency—"
"Katarina will help as well."
Florence suddenly stopped talking when Liam spoke over her, and she scowled at him in curiosity! Wasn't Katarina being taken to prison for her actions against Jason Marc? How would they expect her to cooperate at all!? Liam could sense the question on her tongue before he even asked it, and he steepled his hands together while talking.
"I don't know how to exactly explain it, but Katarina seemed to fully understand the gravity of her crime during her conversation with Jason Marc. I won't sit here and say she should be released, but I am certain that we can count on her support when we need it."
Bang!
"Sir! The sky! The sky is changing!"
Someone suddenly burst into the meeting room and shouted in a breathless voice, and Liam shot to his feet at those words! He asked the man what he had seen, and the man said that it was a Gate! A Gate was appearing above Central New Jersey! Liam immediately told the man to mobilize all the guilds that were available and send them to the Gate's location!
"Make sure to keep the reporters away from the Gate and announce a restriction on the surrounding airspace! Go now!"
The man nodded and ran out of the room, and Liam quickly moved towards the window to take a look outside. The city had been mostly emptied out due to the evacuations, but there were still a few people who were trying to get out of the city, and Liam felt his face squeeze into a frown. Behind Liam, the Director of the SMD branch was already on the phone with one of his associates to try to get more information about the Gate that was appearing, and Florence walked up behind Liam. Florence looked at the dark circles and tired expression on Liam's face, and she felt a desperate urge to hold him and make him sleep on her lap, but she bit her tongue hard to get rid of those thoughts! She would never show weakness to this bastard! Florence spoke to Liam in a serious voice.
"The higher-ups are thinking of bringing in some Diplomatic Aid from the international Superhuman Union. I don't like asking for help from those bastards, but at this rate we're all going to die, so it seems like the best choice at the moment."
Liam also frowned once he heard about this. The International Superhuman Union was a worldwide organization that was responsible for facilitating the movement and supply of superhumans across the entire world. There were times when a certain country just didn't have the superhuman strength to handle a Gate, or there were superhuman criminals that were too strong for the Enforcers in a certain country to handle alone. If that happened, then the International Superhuman Union would step in and bring some superhumans from other countries in order to help out! Liam didn't like the thought of doing this because it always became global news, and it would show the rest of the world that your country was not strong enough to handle its problems on its own.
This would not only affect their commercial sector, but it would also make it more difficult for them to maintain their image as one of the strongest countries in the world! There have been many countries that always refused the aid of the ISU, and Liam felt like they had to first exhaust all of their own options before they would even start thinking about reaching out to that organization. Besides, it wasn't like they were without any help. Even though the SMD and the guilds weren't able to produce a sufficient number of powerful superhumans to handle the Gate, they still had the Enforcers!

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC247: It's Huge
Chapter 247: It's Huge
Even though the SMD and the guilds weren't able to produce a sufficient number of powerful superhumans to handle the Gate, they still had the Enforcers!
Liam spoke up quickly.
"I don't think we should invite outsiders into our problems just yet. For now, let's try and handle it on our own. Can you contact the Enforcers and ask them to send some S Rank commanders? If things get out of control, then it might be beneficial to have someone like Agiel or Luthor at hand."
Liam had been looking away from Florence while saying all this, so he didn't see the way Florence began blushing as she stared at his handsome face absentmindedly! It wasn't until she heard the last part of his sentence that she came back to reality, and she frowned at the fact that Liam was ordering her about! But she could see the sense in what he was saying, and she simply nodded and told him that she would reach out to them. The Director of the New York branch finally got off his call, and Liam turned to him and asked if there was really a Gate appearing. The Director spoke up gravely.
"The agents on the ground are predicting that it might be the largest Gate we've ever experienced in the past ten years. The magical reading is higher than anything they've ever recorded before. You have to get there as soon as possible."
The Director began to head out of the room, and both Liam and Florence followed after him. The SMD building was in a state of constant motion as the agents moved from one place to another. Many of them had terrified looks on their faces since they knew that this situation could end up eradicating their entire country if they didn't handle it properly, but they were still trying their best to make sure all the documents and information were sorted as quickly as possible.
"Sir, over here."
An agent called on the three executives, and they turned to see a man and woman standing together. The man was the same SMD agent who had come to alert them about the appearance of the Gate, but the woman was a superhuman who worked with a guild. She was holding a staff with a gem on the tip that amplified her magic, and she had a serious look on her face as she nodded to Liam and the others. Liam asked the man what was going on and the man gestured to the woman whilst talking.
"I asked for Madam Gwen's help with transportation. Her Gift allows her to transport people over long distances, so she can get you to the Gate location quickly."
Liam turned to Madam Gwen in surprise and the woman nodded to them respectfully before speaking up.
"My Gift only allows me to transport people to places that I've marked out before. Luckily, I already marked this building before I went to the Gate location, so I can move between both places as long as I have the mana to fuel the travel. You might feel a little disoriented for a few seconds after the transport, but you don't need to worry. It's perfectly safe and you'll go back to normal after you calm down."
Liam and Florence nodded while the old Director wished them luck while stepping away. Madam Gwen asked them all to huddle together. She placed her staff on the floor right in the middle, and a bright magic circle appeared under her feet before they suddenly vanished from the building! Liam felt a sensation like a hook grabbing hold of his belly button and pulling him forward and his empty stomach lunched from the sudden movement!
It only took a second for him and the others to arrive on the top of a large building in the middle of Central New Jersey, but Liam couldn't stop himself from bending over and putting his hand over his mouth as he felt like throwing up!
Florence actually felt food rise up to her throat from the movement and had to put her hand over her mouth and force it back down so she wouldn't throw up! Madam Gwen grimaced a little when she saw their reactions, but once she was sure that they would be okay, she nodded to all of them before she turned and vanished again. She had a lot more people to transport, so she was going to keep moving between the SMD building and this location for a few more minutes.
Liam finally took a chance to look around, and he was surprised by the sheer number of people he could see on the various rooftops all around him. Central New Jersey had hundreds of skyscrapers and tall buildings that housed the various businesses, and all of those businesses had been commissioned by various guilds that were using the rooftops as waiting points for the superhumans. There were some very famous superhumans standing on the rooftops, and Liam felt a sense of ease coming over him when he saw that even members of the BloodRaven guild were also a part of the expedition. Liam looked at the people standing on the same rooftop as him, and he nodded towards some of the Enforcers who were waiting there with them. Keith was standing a few meters away from Liam with a frown on his face and Liam was shocked when he saw his brother.
Keith had been in the hospital for the past few hours because of the fight he had with Agiel and Liam didn't expect to see him for at least another two days. Were things really so serious that even Keith had to leave the hospital just for this? Liam noticed that Keith had still not noticed him. Keith was looking up at the sky just like many of the other superhumans standing near Liam and he had a sudden realization that Keith was staring at the Gate that everyone was talking about.
Liam slowly moved his head upwards to glance at the sky above him, and he felt a broken laugh escape his mouth when he saw what was up there! It was a yellow outline that was as large as two football fields hovering about five hundred meters over them, and it was flickering with magic power as it slowly formed into a Yellow Gate. Liam had never seen a Gate being formed before, and at that moment, he couldn't help but feel a sense of extreme smallness as he stared at the humongous circle. Whatever it was that was going to be coming out of that Gate would be the end of this world. It was either they stopped this Gate here, or they would all die horrible deaths.
"It's huge."
It was Florence who had spoken up, and Liam couldn't even blame her for being shocked! Anyone would be stunned if they saw something like this! Liam shook his head as he finally turned away from the Yellow Gate and moved toward his brother to speak to him. Keith was still staring up, but once Liam came close, Keith finally looked down to greet his brother. Liam asked Keith how he was feeling and Keith just shrugged nonchalantly. Superhumans were known to recover fast, so Liam knew that even though Keith wasn't a hundred percent yet, he was going to be very close to perfect health. Liam nodded back to his brother and Keith asked,
"He isn't here?"
Keith didn't need to specify who 'he' was and Liam just sighed and shook his head. Keith's face squeezed in slight worry before he spoke up again.
"The Enforcers are sending a few commanders to come and help out. Agiel was in Boston handling a case, but she's making her way over right now, and Luthor should be here soon."

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC248: A Haunting Realization
Chapter 248: A Haunting Realization
"The Enforcers are sending a few commanders to come and help out. Agiel is in Boston handling a case, but she'll head over as soon as she's done, and Luthor should be here soon."
Liam released a sigh of relief once he heard that there were commanders coming to help them. The commanders were all known to be powerful superhumans. There wasn't a single one that wasn't in the S rank already, and having just one S Rank superhuman in their ranks would change the entire tide of the battle. Liam was sure that Katarina would provide support to the superhumans in her guild from wherever she was, so that meant they just had to work hard to close this Gate with the people they had on hand.
"It's forming!"
A voice shouted from the side, and everyone on the rooftop looked up to see that the large Yellow Gate had finally begun to enter the final stages of its formation. The Gate formed a strong yellow outline in the sky before the space in the center began to swirl with a yellow wave. A breeze blew across the rooftop, and Liam put his hand up to his face as he felt the Gate finally beginning its suction stage as it fully formed in the sky. The winds grew harsher and developed into a typhoon as the Gate tried to suck in anything close by and force them inside, but thankfully Liam and the other superhumans were far enough away that they were only feeling a slight breeze from the suction.
Liam released a tired sigh as the Gate finally formed, and he seemed to finally accept the reality of the situation they were in. This Yellow Gate was a monster capable of eradicating their entire continent with ease, and there was no doubt that a lot of people were going to die while attempting to close it. Liam shook his head and turned away to begin walking towards Florence again! It was pointless to start worrying about what was inside the gate when they hadn't even gone in yet. They still had some time, so they were going to use that time to make sure the superhumans were prepared! The Yellow Gate had only just formed, so they didn't have to worry about it breaking and releasing any monsters for now!
Florence was also looking up at the Gate in awe, and she looked down when she saw Liam heading for her. Liam saw the first sign of fear flashing through Florence's eyes, but she forced her fear down as she frowned at him and asked him what he wanted. Liam immediately got to the point.
"We need to come up with a proper attack plan. There are more guilds here than I anticipated, so if we send them in, they won't know what to do since there's no apparent leader. There are two S Rank Commanders coming soon, so we should wait and send them in as two groups. Each group will go with one of the Commanders. One group will take care of the monsters around the Gate and the other group will make their way straight for the Gate Boss."
Florence's frown deepened for a moment as she scrutinized that plan and tried to find any flaws in it. It was obvious that Florence didn't like Liam and the feeling was mutual between them, but Liam knew that Florence was a smart woman, so if there were any flaws in his plans, then she would be able to pick them apart and correct him without mixing words!
But after waiting for a few seconds, Florence finally sighed when she realized that there were no better plans at that moment. Liam was right about there not being a clear leader, and it would be better for them to send in two groups so they could be sure that even if one group failed, then the other group would be able to either retreat or succeed. Florence was about to say this to Liam, but she was cut off abruptly as someone else spoke from the side in a low, terrified voice.
"The wind stopped..."
It was just three words that the woman spoke, and on any other day, those three words wouldn't have had any meaning at all to the people there. But at that moment, every single superhuman felt an intense fear pass through their hearts when they heard her speak! The wind created by the Gate suction was an indication that the Gate was still actively working to draw people in. It was a sort of assurance that they wouldn't have to worry about it for at least a few hours since the monsters couldn't get out of the Gate. But there was only one reason why that wind would completely stop the way it just did. The Gate was about to break!
Woosh!
A new blast of wind blew across the rooftop and forced all the superhumans to put their hands up to their faces as they looked up in shock! This wind wasn't the same suction that they had felt previously! Instead, it was an outward wind that threatened to blow them off the rooftop in its intensity! Liam couldn't tear his eyes away from the Yellow Gate above him as he held a hand over his face! The Gate was releasing the wind, and that could only mean that the monsters inside were about to come out!
"We're all going to die."
It was Florence who had spoken in a low, haunted voice, and Liam swallowed as he also began to feel fear in his heart!
ROARRRRR!
A loud roar echoed out from within the gate, and Liam saw some of the superhumans getting their Gifts ready as they got ready for the monster. Even though they were shocked, the superhumans refused to go down without a fight! Another roar echoed through the city before a creature flew out from the Gate in all its glory.
It was a dragon that was twice as large as the one they'd seen Jason riding! It had tough brown skin that looked like it would be able to deflect anything that was thrown at it. Its wingspan seemed to cover the width of an entire cargo ship and when it flew over them, it easily blocked out the sun with its sheer size! Four more dragons appeared from within the Gate and joined the first one! The new dragons were smaller than the first one, but they were no less menacing with their intense roars and terrifying appearance. The dragons flew towards the skyscrapers at the side and perched on them with long, sharp talons that easily sank into the concrete before roaring towards the superhuman on the rooftops!
ROARRRR!
The superhumans around Liam all took a step back, and Liam could feel an intense fear grip his heart when he saw that there were people riding on the back of the dragons! They had dark skin with black scales covering their cheeks and neck, and their blood-red eyes were slitted like a lizard's. The person on the largest dragon gazed over the humans like they were trash that didn't deserve to even stand before him! The man put his hand to his neck, and his hand shone with a strange green light before he opened his mouth and spoke!
"!@#!!$#@$@#$#@!@!!!"
Liam didn't know what caused it at that moment, but a strange feeling of amusement suddenly came over him, and he couldn't help but release a low, haunted laugh as he realized that they were completely and absolutely fucked!

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC249: Breaking The Rules of Magic
Chapter 249: Breaking The Rules of Magic
[The World of Ruen]
Jason felt a maniacal grin spreading on his face as he looked through the eyes of his subordinate and saw the Lich standing inside a cave and looking up at the Falcons in curiosity! Jason immediately began to calculate the distance between where he was and the Lich's location, and Jason let go of Raya's body and allowed himself to fall back once he was sure that the teleportation wouldn't take too much out of his magic reserves! Jason commanded Raya and Fenrir to continue fighting the Giants so they wouldn't join the main battle happening at the deserted city, and his subordinates accepted his command before Jason activated a skill!
[King's Substitute] has been activated!
Jason suddenly vanished from where he had been, and a large Iron-Bladed Falcon appeared beside Raya and immediately joined in the fight! On the other side of the world, Jason appeared in the sky and he grinned down at the Immortal Lich as he began free-falling through the air. The immortal Lich had still been watching the Falcon's curiously, but its eyes widened slightly when it saw Jason appear from thin air! The immortal Lich immediately raised his hand and activated a fire spell that shot towards Jason like an arrow!
[Mirror of the Sundering Heart]!!
An artifact suddenly popped up in front of Jason! Its effect allowed it to reflect the first attack it receives back towards the attacker, and once the flames struck the mirror, they turned around and headed back for the Lich! The mirror cracked from the intense power behind that spell since it was only a C Rank artifact, but Jason didn't need it anymore, so he threw it to the side and immediately activated the [Iron Storm] skill! A thousand magic blades appeared in the air around Jason, and Jason put his hand forward and shot them towards the Lich!
Ratatatatatatat!
The blades flew into and then through the mountain like a thousand bullets! Jason was still falling through the air, and he narrowed his eyes as he saw a beam of light appearing through the darkness! Jason summoned a Falcon from his Alternate Dimension and put it in front of him, and the beam of light slammed into the Falcon's body! The Flacon let out a cry of pain from the attack before it immediately withered and died!
'What the fuck is that? Decay magic?'
[The Lich is using a branch of magic known as Necrosis.]
The system quickly corrected Jason, and Jason clicked his tongue as the dust cleared to show that the Lich had hundreds of magic circles all around him! The Lich was looking up at Jason with it's terrifying gaze and Jason knew that this was going to be one of the most taxing magic battles he had ever been through! The Lich joined it's hands together and muttered an incantation as hundreds of bright lights shot out from the magic circles and shot towards Jason like missiles! Jason immediately activated the [Exoskeletal Armor]! The added weight from the armor allowed Jason to fall faster than the light spells, and he was able to reach the ground below as the spells flew over him! Jason dashed forward and the Lich put his hand down and sent another volley of attacks towads Jaosn while also calling on various monsters that had been hiding underground!
The monsters tore themselves out from the ground and charged towards Jason to attack him, but Jason easily slapped them to the side and destroyed all of them in one swing while trying his best not ot get hit by the beams! The Lich's eyes widened in surprise at the display of power! The Lich already thought that Jason was a summoner, and from his experience, summoners didn't normally have much physical strength. The fact that Jason was able to slap away various high-level A Rank summons meant that he was above S Rank!
The Lich finally decided to talk:
"!@#@!@!#@@!?"
Jason's eyes narrowed as he heard the grating sound come out from the Lich's mouth, but it didn't even take a second before the system came to his rescue.
[New Language Detected: T'laini Tongue]
[Would the user like to outlearn this tongue? Yes/No?]
Jason chose yes, and he felt that familiar sensation passing over his tongue and ears as he quickly acquired the skills! Jason got rid of the sensation easily enough, and he could hear the Lich's words suddenly becoming something understandable!
"- the hell are you? I've never even heard of your kind before, so why have you decided to attack me?"
Jason slapped away another one of the Lich's subordinates as he dashed up the hillside towards the Lich! Jason was shocked that the Lich had the ability to communicate at such a high level, but it didn't change anything about his plans! Jason came here for the bastards heart, and he wasn't going to leave without it!
The Lich grew enraged when Jason didn't answer his question, and he put his hand out and activated another Necrosis spell! A wide magic circle appeared in the air above him, and a thick bolt of lightning suddenly shot out from the circle and headed straight for Jason!
Jason never stopped his stride moving upwards, and the Lich already thought that he had finally gotten him, but he was shocked when a large Falcon suddenly appeared in the air in front of him! The Lich frowned as he tried to ignore the Falcon and turned back to Jason, but once the Lich turned back down, he was shocked to see that Jason had vanished and in his place was the same Falcon that was just in front of him!
'!'
A feeling of pure, unfiltered terror came over the Lich's entire body when he saw Jason hovering beside him with his fist pulled back and the Lich immediately activated his highest ranking defensive artifact to form a shield in front of him! And a moment later, a punch slammed into the shield!
KA-BOOM!
It sounded like thunder clapping across the sky! Jason's fist formed a large crack over the surface of the S Rank defensive artifact, and the Lich's eyes widened as he was picked off his feet and thrown back through the wall behind him! Jason dashed forward like a bat out of hell to chase down the Lich, and the Lich put up his staff and fired off another hundred magic spells at Jason's location!
[King's Substitute]!
All of a sudden, Jason vanished from in front of the Lich again, and the Lich watched in shock as a large Falcon replaced Jason and took the volley of attacks! The spells that the Lich fired struck the Falcon and killed it in a horrific manner, and Jason appeared from the side with his hand pulled back before unleashing another punch into the Lich's defenses!
KA-BOOM!
Crack!
The defensive shield around the Lich gained another large crack, and the Lich suddenly came to the realization that Jason's physical strength was far higher than he had predicted! Jason was a summoner, so it was common knowledge that Jason should be weak physically, but it was obvious that Jason was breaking all of the rules of magic without even trying! The Lich suddenly began to mutter a spell in a silent voice as he moved to create some space between him and Jason!
More of the Lich's subordinates came out from underground, and they grabbed onto the large Falcons that Jason had been substituting with to give the Lich time to run away! The Lich created a magic circle under Jason's feet and a large worm roared as it flew out of the Magic circle and tried to swallow him. Jason put his hand to the side and grabbed one of the A-rank swords from his Alternate dimension, and the sword suddenly erupted in a brilliant yellow light!

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC250: An Avaran Abomination
Chapter 250: An Avaran Abomination
[Blazing Embers] has been activated!
Jason's sword suddenly erupted in yellow flames as the giant worm rose from the ground to try and swallow him, and once the worm was close enough, Jason unleashed a straight vertical slash that immediately tore the monster in half!
Ding!
[Due to repeated action, the user has created a new S Rank Skill [Sword Slash]!]
[Sword Slash - This skill allows the user to unleash a deadly vertical or horizontal slash in order to attack enemies or defend against an incoming attack. The addition of mana to this skill will increase its lethality by multiple factors.]
Jason easily ignored the system's messages as he watched the large worm split down the middle and fall to either side of him, and the sword that Jason used for his attack lost all its durability and disintegrated immediately since it was only an A Rank weapon! But Jason didn't pay that any mind as he looked around for where the Lich had gone! Jason spotted it a few hundred meters away from him, and Jason was about to head over there for another confrontation, but he stopped when he felt the ground under his feet shake!
A large arm pulled itself out from underground and slammed into the ground before another arm pulled itself out, and both arms began to pull out a giant body! The ground under Jason's feet began to turn into ash and hard rock, and Jason could see that everything the giant in front of him touched was immediately disintegrated to nothing! A maniacal laugh came from the Lich as it stood on the shoulder of the giant man-like monster and declared:
"This is the peak of my experiments! A monster that embodies the very concept of decay and necrosis! If you think you can escape from this, then you are a fool! I'll kill your mortal body, and I'll take all your summoned monsters as my loyal pets!"
The giant monster released a loud rumbling roar as it raised its leg above Jason's head! The creature looked like a mixture between an ogre and a bull with the body of a man, and Jason didn't want to know what it would feel like to be crushed under the weight of something like that! Jason dashed to the side immediately, and the large monster brought its feet down to the ground! Everything around the monster's feet immediately disintegrated, and Jason had to use the [King's Substitute] once again as the Lich released another volley of dark spells towards him!
Jason turned to glance at his mana level, and he cursed when he saw that he only had thirty percent left! Jason knew that at this rate, he would run out of mana and stamina from all the subordinates that were working at the same time, so Jason called in the cavalry!
"Ragnar!"
Jason felt Ragnar respond to his call immediately, and the large monster fell into the shadow and immediately began making its way towards Jason! Jason brought up another defensive artefact as the Lich unleashed a new volley of spells and the defensive artefact broke to pieces once it was hit with the intense attacks! Jason dashed to the side to avoid getting crushed, and he unleashed a rain of swords on the Lich and forced it to activate it's own defensive spells! The swords disintegrated the moment they touched the skin of the large ogre and Jason narrowed his eyes as he avoided another attack from it! Jason realised that he couldn't do any direct damage to that monster, so he kept both the Lich and the monster busy until Ragnar appeared!
ROARRRR!!
Ragnar rose out of the ground with a massive roar and spun in the air before it began to head straight for the giant monster with intense speed! The Lich was shocked when he saw the dragon appear out of nowhere, and for a few good seconds, he couldn't even react at all!
In this one fight, the Lich had seen Jason use summons, teleportation, high physical strength, flame magic, and now he also had a pocket dimension!? What the actual fuck was this man!? The Lich was a creature that understood the basics of magic very well and he lived by those basics because it was what gave the Lich the power to do research the way he wanted! But at this moment, Jason was breaking all the rules that he had painstakingly learned for so long, and it was driving the Lich mad!
Ragnar opened his mouth as the giant ogre raised its hand to try and swat Ragnar out of the sky, and the air in front of Ragnar seemed to implode on itself as Ragnar released a mighty blast of fire!
KA-TOOM!
The blast flew straight towards the monster's raised arm, and Jason grinned as he saw the entire arm explode from the impact! The giant arm fell to the ground as it tore off from its sockets, and the giant monster released a loud roar as it held its stump in pain! Jason dashed forward once he saw the monster falling to one knee, and he jumped towards the Lich and grabbed him before he could go anywhere! Jason held the Lich by its skull face and slammed it into the floor before he dragged it across the ground for more than a mile!
The Lich tried to pry Jason's arm off, but the Adamantine Suit increased Jason's strength immensely, and the Lich wasn't able to even make Jason budge!
The Lich was actually right about Jason being an enigma. In the world of magic, most people would normally only go into one or two branches of magic and stay there for their entire lives while trying to get as powerful as possible in those branches. A summoner would never think about becoming a brawler because they knew that their subordinates would be the ones fighting for them, so instead, they would focus on trying to make sure their mana level was as high as possible; and in the same way, a brawler wouldn't learn how to cast large area-of-effect spells because their main focus would be on increasing their physical strength to withstand those kinds of attacks!
Fighting against Jason was like fighting against a creature that had lived for thousands of years and learned all forms of magic! Especially those summons that he was using! The Lich still couldn't wrap his head around what those things were! No matter how many times he killed them, they just kept coming back, and they were just like his undead creatures! They didn't fear death at all!
'Wait! They don't fear death! All summoned creatures fear death!'
The Lich suddenly had to pause as his thoughts went towards Jason's summoned creatures, and his eyes widened when he realized in shock that those weren't summoned creatures at all! They couldn't be alive since they weren't afraid of death, and the fact that Jason could bring them back so easily only meant one thing! Those were souls! They were the souls of dead creatures!
'This is what I've been trying to accomplish all my life! This bastard is the ideal I've been searching for!'
The Lich glared at Jason heatedly as his hands glowed with the black magic of Necrosis! It wasn't going to lose this fight! It had to kill Jason and take his power from him! Jason felt the Lich gathering a lot of mana, and Jason raised his fist as he activated a skill!
[Mana Frenzy] has been activated!
[The user has sent mana to his hands]!
KA-BOOM!
Jason's fist came down hard, and the Lich let out a cry as he felt his skull crack from the blow! All his concentration was immediately lost, and Jason grinned as the Lich's mana began to drop again! Behind Jason, Ragnar released another massive blast of fire that completely eradicated the chest of the giant monster, and the Lich spoke with a deep curiosity in its voice.
"You... You defy the very concept of what magic is meant to be! Even your magic Essence is completely unpredictable! Are you even a real creature!? Wait... this magic essence! An Avaran! So you're one of those monsters!?"
Jason's hand immediately tightened around the Lich's face, and he watched with some satisfaction as the Lich's jaw cracked under his power! Jason leaned forward with intensity.
"What did you call me?"
The Lich pointed a bony finger at Jason!
"You're a monster! An Avaran abomination!"
