Time seemed to slow down for Noir as he had to make a difficult decision but even before his brain made the decision his body was operating on its own.
His body vanished into the shadows as he appeared out of the shadow over a frightened woman who was stuck between rubble.
*Splat!*
The disgusting sound of flesh getting grinded and splattered along with the screams of despair echoed in Noir's ears making him clench his jaw as the impact of the debris on his back didn't hurt as much as knowing that he decided to let multiple people die by choosing to save the woman.
Noir felt a bit glad as he gazed at the lady who was still spooked by the near death experience as she was clutching her pregnant belly.
He was relieved because despite being stuck under the rubble she didn't seem that injured.
Adrian grasped the concrete rubble and his veins bulged as he used every ounce of his strength to push the slab of broken concrete aside.
"Uuuuughhhh!"
*Boom!*
A loud crashing resounded as Noir growled while pushing the concrete aside.
The chat moved at a slow pace as the usual jovial mood was absent this time due to the gravity of the situation.
Loud sirens , fires , explosions and Roars filled the area as the screams of terror and desperation made the ones watching feel heavy.
Noir stiffened as he heard a whooshing sound.
His body moved on instinct as he shielded the woman on instinct as a huge rock crashed into his back making Noir stumble but he held strong as the bones in his back cracked a bit.
" You are gonna be fine Mam" Noir said gently as he wanted to make sure the woman wouldn't go into a panic attack and harm her baby.
The nodded her head and smiled shakily but her smile froze as blood splurted out from her lips.
Noir was frozen in disbelief as he couldn't understand what was happening then it hit him pain … hot agonizing pain.
Noir's gaze moved onto his stomach as he saw the pole that had pierced through his stomach into the woman's stomach as it had impaled them both.
All of this happened in the span of a few moments as Noir had no time to even think about the current situation.
The woman's gaze contained disbelief and confusion as her gaze moved from her stomach to Noir who was standing prottectively over her.
Pain flashed through her eyes as she smiled at Noir and reached out her trembling palm towards his masked face.
In that moment she could understand what the Hero was going through despite not seeing his face.
Noir just stared at the woman as her smile coincided with Nana( orphanage matron) as his heart clenched.
The woman's fingertips brushed against his mask.
" It's - "
*Boom!*
*Splat!*
'Huh?' Noir mumbled inside his mind as he couldn't understand what had happened.
One moment he was gazing at the woman and the next moment it was darkness and his body was pressed up against something wet and sticky.
'Wet and sticky'..

'Wait….No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No!... No!' Noir was screaming inside his mind as he was struggling to raise himself up from the ground as his body wouldn't budge. It was like an insurmountable force was pressing down on his body.
*Boom!*
Noir got pushed into the ground with a huge force as it caused the ground to crack.
*Bam!* *Bam!* *Bam!* *Bam!*.... *Bam!* ….
...
All his bones were broken but he still tried to get up but his body wouldn't budge.
Suddenly Noir felt himself being lifted by the head as a big hand gripped his head with a strong force that made his skull hurt.
"Aaaagh!" Noir makes a sound that was mixed with agony as he feels the pole that was stabbed into his stomach being ripped away taking some of his guts along with it.

Noir's didn't shout in agony due to the pain from the injury but due to seeing the magled corpse , if it could even be called that.
She was no longer recognisable as there was only a flattened piece of flesh left behind with her remains sticking to Noir's body.
She was crushed underneath him as his body was used as a pistel to grind and crush her body until she was no longer recognisable.
" A tough bug I see~ " A gruff voice resounded near Noir's ears but he was not paying attention as his gaze was fixed on the meat paste on the ground.
Noir felt nauseous as he had the urge to throw up but with his busted guts, even that didn't seem possible.
But Noir wasn't someone who gave up and waited for death.
"Hmm?" Abomination tilted his head in confusion as he felt a siphoning feeling from his arms , but it was a minute sensation almost negligible.
*Boom!*
Abomination didn't think twice before throwing the black clad hero towards the cracked rubble as he jumped up after him with a gleeful cackle.
He had found new prey and he hoped this toy wouldn't break as fast as the previous one…..
