Larrissa's POV
It was time for lunch and I couldn't find Joanna anywhere.
I searched the maiden quarters and asked around for her, but no one knew where she went..
My stomach grumbled loudly, I had yet to have breakfast, and now it's lunch time.
I might have to make something for myself. I head to the kitchen just in time to see a maiden cooking.
"My lady, Lubxj is almost ready" she assured
"Thank you" I replied and returned to the dining area as I waited for the maid to serve the food.
I wasn't sure, I hadn't seen her around the palace before, and of course, there were over a hundred maids in the palace.
I couldn't know even half of that number by their first name.
"Thank you"
She hurried away and I helped myself with one spoon after the other.
Where on earth has Joanna gone?! If she weren't around, she would have told me she wouldn't be around…
My stomach clenched tight, and before I knew it, I felt an unbearable pain that made my head spin and my vision blur.
