Episode 16
Above the parking area, on the last floor, there was a room with the words "Dressing Room" written on its door.
In fact, this room belonged to the school's drama club. The students who participated in various school functions used to prepare here. That was why the room was filled with different costumes that had already been used in previous school events.
Inside the room, four people were completely safe.
All four of them were standing in the center of the room with grave expressions on their faces. Among them was a chubby boy wearing a joker costume. His face was covered in joker-style makeup — white powder all over his face and bright red paint shaping his mouth in a clownish smile. He looked like a funny clown, yet there was no humor in his expression.
He stood seriously near the other three, staring at the loudspeaker from which Miss Selena's voice had stopped after reading the first letter. The loudspeaker was now silent. The boy was quietly eating a red apple held in his right hand, taking slow bites one after another.
On his right stood a thirty-year-old man dressed in a black PT tracksuit. He looked quite handsome in it. He had light blue eyes and dark brown hair, which enhanced his appearance even more. His body was well-built and fit. He was fair, dignified, and the most mature among the four.
Standing with them were two senior-class students — a boy and a girl — both dressed in the school's light blue and white uniform.
The boy wore blue pants, a white shirt, a light blue tie, and a light blue coat.
The girl wore a white shirt with a light blue clip near her collar, along with a light blue coat, a light blue skirt, and white ankle-length socks. Both of them wore black jogger boots in their own style.
The girl was extremely beautiful, and the boy was very handsome. Both were around eighteen or nineteen years old.
They were all staring seriously at the loudspeaker. Sadness was clearly visible on their faces, as if they deeply felt sorry for the lovers mentioned in the first letter. They did not know whether those two were still alive or not.
Because of this uncertainty, they stood there in silence. Miss Selena's words echoed in their minds. The letter she had read had shaken them deeply. Although they were not affected by the Z virus, the contents of the letter had pushed them into emotional shock — wondering whether those people were alive or dead.
The room around them was filled with different costumes. A table neatly displayed various makeup items. There were also many other things — jewelry, different types of shoes, and accessories scattered around.
Other than them, no one was left alive on the parking floor or on their floor. Everyone else had fallen victim to the Z virus.

On the floor above them, inside a classroom, two junior students in school uniforms were sitting pressed tightly against a wall in fear.
One of them was a boy named Adam. He had green eyes and natural white and light-brown mixed hair that fell messily over his forehead. He was fair and handsome. There were blood stains on his clothes.
Beside him sat a girl named Jinjain. She was a Chinese girl and incredibly beautiful. Her silky black hair was tied in a ponytail — neither too long nor too short. The baby hairs on the sides of her forehead looked delicate and beautiful. Like her hair, her eyes were black, and her wheatish complexion enhanced her beauty even more. There were dried blood stains on her clothes and face.
They were sitting in a corner of their classroom. To their right, at some distance, was the locked classroom door. Another side had a wall fitted with glass panels through which the inside of the classroom was clearly visible.
Outside the classroom, many zombies had gathered. They were pushing against the door and the glass.
The two students sat on the floor in fear because they believed that if the zombies noticed them, they would break the glass and enter the classroom.
Around them, chairs, desks, bags, books, pens, and pencils were scattered chaotically across the floor. Blood stained the floor, walls, and glass. It looked as if a violent struggle had taken place here just moments ago.
At the front of the classroom, a whiteboard was fixed to the wall. In one corner, an LED screen was installed, playing a Maths lecture at a volume close to 50. The sound was attracting the zombies outside. On this floor, zombies stood outside and even inside some classrooms, staring at the LED screens and growling. The zombies outside Adam and Jinjain's classroom were also being drawn by the same LED.
On the same floor, two classrooms to the right, there was another classroom where a boy stood alone, trembling with fear. He held a steel stick in his hands — likely a broken piece from one of the classroom desks. The stick was normal in length and width, similar to the metal arms of the desks.
This classroom was in the same chaotic condition as Adam and Jinjain's classroom. However, the difference was that this boy had piled most of the desks and chairs against the front wall and door, forming a barrier reaching almost up to the ceiling. Even so, through the transparent glass panel above the wall, the outside view was visible — where many zombies stood, pushing against the classroom and door.
Fear was clearly visible on the boy's face as he gripped the steel stick and stared at the zombies beyond the glass.
In his classroom, an LED was installed in the right corner of the whiteboard, playing a Biology lecture at medium volume, which was also attracting the zombies outside.
Other than these students, no one else was alive on that floor. The rest had either turned into zombies or died.

On the floor above them were Hasnain and his four friends — Saim, Borak, Ghani, and Saad — along with Sana Afra and the boy who had entered through the window. Hasnain had pushed that boy's girlfriend out of the window because she had been bitten by a zombie.
Other than them, no one else was alive on that floor. The rest had either become zombies or died.

On the floor above that, inside the broadcast room, were Miss Selena and two senior students in school uniforms — a boy named Yaram and a girl named Lena.
Other than them, only zombies remained on that floor. Above their floor was the terrace.
