Jay's POV
The day was here. The day I wished would never come but still did. The day of the fight. And not just any fight, it was like a full blown war between my loved ones and my enemies.
I couldn't sleep properly all night bcz of that damn fight. I just stared at keifer's peaceful sleeping face while hugging him tightly with one hand and tracing his jaw with the other. I wished we could stay this peaceful forever but our reality is much darker than that. Every time we think we can finally have some peace or have some time alone to breath, reality hits, dragging more trouble and darkness with it.
All I could think of was how to end this all smoothly without anyone getting hurt. But one thing was for sure, that no matter how much my team and me tried to deny it, deep down we all knew that code red couldn't be avoided!
No matter how many safety measures we took, the monster inside me wasn't going to be stopped until every single person who even thinks about hurting me or my loved ones is dealt with!
The morning was quieter than usual, even the chaotic section e and my team turned serious. They still were chaotic but much less than usual. Everyone was thinking about the fight and the events that it will unfold.
I tried to keep calm even though my mind was racing with thoughts. Keifer held my hand tightly as if saying ' everything will be just fine, no need to worry, I won't let anyone hurt u '.
If only he knew the other half of plan b.
We ate our breakfast with some small talk. My team and I kept exchanging glances whenever the topic about the fight came up. I know they want me to tell the others about code red but I can't. I can't risk there life anymore. If the price of there safety is me using code red and risking my life then I would happily pay it and my team knew how stubborn I was that I would never back down or let my loved ones know about the real danger of that fight.
The training went smoother than we thought. Everyone was filled with determination and had only one goal in mind, win this fight while protecting each other at all cost.
We trained as much as we could, pushed our body and mind to the limit. We didn't stop until every single one of us was fully ready for the fight.
Section e was getting better with using a gun. My brothers and keifer already knew how to use one but after a bit more training, they got even better. Me, my team and our reinforcements also trained with them.
We went out of our way to bring out the best in everyone. We practiced shooting, we hit the gym and exercised hard, we did some boxing, section e got to know some new fighting techniques and perfected there mistakes from yesterday's fight, we fought in the boxing ring, my team against section e and my brothers until they were able to finally beat my team.
And yes, after winning keifer ran to me to claim his prize which he didn't get yesterday while my brothers made holes in him using there eyes and the rest cheered and teased us.
Lunch went by quickly. We were all extremely hungry after vigorously training. Freya, mica, grace, ella and rakki had decided to make some favourite dishes of there boyfriend which they loved.
Keifer( whispering to jay ): where is my dish wifey.
Jay( whispering back ): how was I supposed to make something when I was busy training with u all and I didn't even know they were going to do that.
Keifer: i don't care, u still owe me a dish made by u. How about u make it for me as a victory meal after we come back from the fight.
Jay: I guess u'll have to wait to find out if I'll make it or not.
We ate our food and then did a last minute training session. After the training we all gather around in the hall to go over the plan one more time.
Jay: ok guys listen up. I won't repeat myself. As u all know we r meeting at the old grounds outside the city where I last fought kaizer at 7 pm sharp. So do u guys know what u r doing there.
Thyme: yes. F4,rory, edrix, drew, eman, blaster and denzel will take care of roy and his men.
Tony: The demons of hell, mayo, kit, wren, calix and josh will take care of cyrus, ram and their men and our reinforcements will circle the perimeter and make sure there is no other threats and traps set.
Jay: and me, the dream team, keifer, aries, kuya angelo, ci-n, felix and david will take care of kaizer. The rest of the reinforcements and my personal bodyguard will stay close and make sure things run smoothly and if something goes wrong we all get out of there immediately! Stay close to the reinforcements and my bodyguards and under no circumstances r u allowed to not follow the plan. Am I clear.

Jay: good. We have to leave in about half an hour to reach there on time so rest, prepare or do whatever u all want for the time being.
" ok jay "
We all went on our way. The couples spent some time together. The singles hung out. Me and my team met up in our mini base to prepare.
But before that, I made sure every single one of them wore a bullet proof vest, combat suit and boots and had there weapons on them.
Me and my team spent our time in the mini base. They were really serious about this situation and had prepared the precautions.
Mj and mason made a strong dose of sedative to use in case I decide to do something stupid. The rest of the boys tried to convince me to not use code red at any cost. And I just sat on the couch between the girls, surrounded by my friends who were once the only ones who loved me, they still r except I have found some new people who love me too. I wanted to listen to them and agree with them but i couldn't, not when the lives of all my loved ones hung in the balance. They got in this mess bcz of me and I'll be the one to finish it!
They kept lecturing me but gave up when they realised that no matter what they say my decision was not going to change.
They left me alone and started sticking up on weapons too. I left the room and went to my room. I found keifer sitting on the bed, deep in thought. I sat down next to him.
Jay: hey, what r u doing here? I thought u would be with ur brothers right now.
Keifer: I'll go to them in a while. I just had to check on u first. So, how u holding up?
Jay: pretty well till now.
Keifer: r u sure u r ready for this fight?
Jay: 100'/. What about u?
Keifer: same. Especially when it involves ur safety.
Jay: don't worry about me, I'll be fine and so will u. Just follow the plan ok. Everything will be ok, trust me.
Keifer: I will always trust u jay.
Jay: I love uā¤
Keifer: I love u too, until scientists find the end of the universeā¤
Then I kissed him slow, soft then it deepened as he kissed me back. He tilted my head to kiss me deeper. I opened my mouth to let him in. We both devoured each other like it was our last kiss right before the end of the universe.
Then we pulled away and rested our foreheads against each others when we were breathless.
We stayed silent for a while. Just stayed there, in that moment it was just him and me, no enemies, no responsibilities, no fight, nothing. The world shrunk down to just the two of us.
Jay: hey, can u help me with something.
Keifer: anything. Just name it.
Jay: can u help me put my necklace on. The one u gave me on my Birthday. I want to keep it close to my heart so that even when u r physically away from me during the fight, u will always remain with me throughout everything.
Keifer: ofc. U don't even have to ask me about that.
I brought the necklace to him. He took it and put it on me. I turned around to face him again. He kissed my forehead.
Keifer: u look more beautiful with it on.
Jay( chuckling ): u always know what to say, don't u.
Keifer: always, when it comes to u. It's like a reflex now.
Jay( shaking her head ): come on, let's go downstairs. It's almost time to leave and we have to meet keigan and Keiran before we go.
We were about to go downstairs when I got a call. I checked to see it was from percy so I picked it up.
On the call:
Jay: hey percy, why did u call me? Is something wrong?
Percy: no, nothing's wrong my baby sistah. Me and tito jaspher just wanted to wish u and keifer good luck for the fight. Btw where is keifer baby.
Jay: he is not ur baby. And he is with me right now.
Percy: what r u two doing together?
Jay: we were about to leave for the fight. Now if u don't have anything else to say, put papa on the phone.
Percy: ok wait.
Then he gave the phone to papa.
Papa: hello jay. How r u.
Jay: I'm fine papa. How r u now.
Papa: I'm getting better now. I got to know that u have ur fight today, good luck for that. Be safe and take care, ok. And wish keifer for me too.
Jay: ok papa. I will. Take care of yourself too. I'll come to u soon, ok.
Papa: ok. I'll be waiting. U should get going now and I have to rest as well. Bye jay.
Jay: bye papa.
End of call.
Keifer: jay, what happened? Why r u crying?
Jay: nothing, they r happy tears. It's just that I talked to percy and papa after a while. They both wished us good luck for the fight.
Keifer: that's good then. Now don't cry. I don't like seeing u cry.
He said and wiped my tears away.
Then we went downstairs where everyone was gathered. Me and keifer hugged keigan and Keiran first.
Keiran: come back fast ok.
Jay: we will.
Keigan: take care and be safe.
Keifer: we will. Tale care of yourselves while we r away, ok.
" ok ".
Then I hugged mom, tita Gema and godfather.
Mom: take care.
Tita gema: be safe and come back soon. I'll make ur favorite dishes when u return.
Jay: I will. Don't worry too much mom and tita.
Godfather( whispering ): take care and remember u don't have to do everything alone.
I nodded at him.
Then we all said our goodbyes to the girls as well and then got in our cars and drove towards the old grounds outside the city.
