Jay's POV
The ride to the old grounds felt like ticking bomb ready to explode any second now.
Keier held my hand tightly to reassure me that everything will be just fine and I kept squeezing his hand a bit more every time the anxiety was getting to me. Even the usual chaotic, childish ci-n was serious now, lost in his thoughts like everyone else.
After about 2 hours of driving, we reached our destination. We got out of our cars and gathered around the old grounds. Our reinforcements spread out to clear the perimeter and be on a look out for any traps or tricks they might pull on us.
They hadn't arrived yet. There was still about 10 minutes left till 7 so we waited and checked our weapons one more time.
Soon they all arrived too.
Kaizer: u r early.
Jay: and u r late.
Roy: eager to fight I see, jaybird.
Jay: Don't. Call me. That.
Roy: not gonna happen. U didn't take my offer and u got the mark as well. I guess I'll have to get my rights back the hard way then. By seeing u suffer when I kill ur loved ones and then I'll grant u mercy by killing u and getting what I want.
Keifer( angry ): let's see u try😡
Cyrus: why do u always have to interrupt us. R u still her boyfriend. Babe u seriously expect me to believe that u replaced me with him.
Jay: I'm not ur babe. And yes he is my boyfriend. What is to u, huh? U r nothing to me. So stay out of my business.
Keifer: u heard her. Either u stay away from her or prepare to go back to the hospital and never come back from there.
Ram( smirking ): calm down keifer. U r getting too worked up now. Look u have nothing against cyrus. That matter is between them and so is mine but it involves me watching u suffer. So, I'm giving u one more chance, either u surrender or watch ur lover die.
Keifer: that's never going to happen, u bastard🤬
Kaizer: ENOUGH! We r here to fight. So let's just skip this boring part and get to it. After all there is no point in negotiating with u all. So, let's talk after u surrendered, shall we.
Jay: we'll see who actually surrenders among us.
Kaizer: let the fun begin then😈
He signaled his men to fight and I signaled everyone to divide into teams and fight as we had planned.
Author's POV
F4 team surrounded Roy's team.
The demons of hell team surrounded cyrus and ram's team.
The dream team surrounded Kaizer's team.
While kaizer watched us all from behind. Yuri and dylan beside him.
The fight started. Fists and bullets flew through the air. Some were fighting with their punches and kicks while some went straight for their gun.
F4s reinforcements took care of many of Roy's men while they fought the remaining men and roy.
The demons of hell reinforcements circled the perimeter and helped fight the enemies reinforcements while they fought the remaining ones as well as cyrus and ram.
The dream team and their reinforcements took care of the enemies reinforcements first. Jay fought her way through the crowd. Her eyes fixed on kaizer. His smirk only fueling Jay's fury and determination to win. Keifer was right behind her.
After a long fight they defeated the reinforcements and now only the main enemies were left.
But just when they thought they would win, more reinforcements came, triple times more than the previous ones. Most of them equipped with guns.
They all did there best to fight and save themselves from the storm of bullets flying through the air. Lucky for them they had there bullet proof vest on but that didn't help protect there entire body.
Everyone ended up getting hurt somewhere. But they didn't give up. They fought through the pain.
They all had enough of the reinforcements. They all took out there guns and started firing back at them.
Seeing everyone suffering, jay couldn't take it anymore. She looked at her blood on her hand then at everyone else. Through the crowd, her eyes met keifer's who was fighting 3-4 guys on his own while being injured. Then she looked at her team, they sensed what she was about to do and shouted at her to not while running towards her but were stopped by the enemies team. She signaled her bodyguards to get them out of here and then tasted the blood and everything went dark.
Her bodyguards tried to get them out of there but they all resisted and kept fighting.
Roy tried to shoot at keifer but thyme was faster and shot him first, right in the heart and he dropped dead on the spot.
Cyrus tried to hold on even when shot multiple times bcz he was stupid enough to get caught in the cross fire. He was barely alive when robin punched him hard until he was dead too.
Ram tried to get to jay but before he could keifer git to him first and put him in a chokehold from behind until he couldn't breath anymore. Some tried to shoot keifer but he used ram as a shield and got saved while ram died.
Now only kaizer was left. Most of her team dropped to the floor, breathing heavy, totally exhausted and badly injured. Only Jay's team and keifer tried to keep walking and just get to her but couldn't bcz her bodyguards held them back.
Jay on the other hand fought her way through the crowd while punching and kicking anyone who got in her way. She reached kaizer, he tried to shoot her but dylan shot his hand before he could even reach for his gun.
Dylan: sorry not sorry boss.
Then yuri and dylan stepped back from him.
Kaizer: u r really going to betray ME! Just wait till ur clan head gets to know about this yuri and dylan I'll deal with u later!😡
Yuri: we'll see if u r still left in the condition to say anything.
Dylan: this is revenge for what u did to keigan and all the other bad things u did.
Yuri: he's all urs jay, no need to go easy on him.
Dylan: enjoy ur time in hell kaizer.
They said and left to help the others.
Now it was just jay and kaizer.
Ci-n: what is she doing?
Thyme: damn it. Leave us james. We need to get to jay and give her the sedative before it's too late.
Mj: we can't. The syringe broke during the fight and it's already too late now.
Zia: let us go, she won't be able to handle code red, we need to save her.
Keifer: what r u talking about? What code red? And why did jay taste her blood again?
Mason: code red means jay tasting her blood and letting that monster inside her fight to win. We tried to stop her but she still used it and now we might loose her forever.
Keifer: that's not gonna happen. We'll stop her.
Tony: u don't know that. Her body can't take much of that code red anymore.
Edrix: why do u even have a code for that?
Lia: guys, it's seriously not the time to be discussing that right now.
Kuya angelo: I knew she was hiding something. Damn it jay.
While they were talking about that, jay was fighting kaizer. Even while being injured in one arm, he fought well but as well as jay when she's not herself. He tried to punch her where she was injured, she blocked it and punched him instead. He tried to kick her, she got away in time and punched him straight in his jaw. He fell. She got on top of him and started kicking and punching him until he had a hard time breathing. She finally let go of him but was still not satisfied. She picked up the gun that fell earlier from his grip.
Jay: this is for what u did to tita serina, keigan, Kieran and most of all to keifer. I won't let any of them suffer anymore bcz of u and I will get tita's revenge. Goodbye kaizer. Rot in hell.
Without wasting a second, she pulled the trigger and shot him multiple times in the chest until there were no bullets left in the gun.
Then looked up and smiled, a few tears leaving her eyes.
Jay( whispering ): I did it tita. I got ur revenge. He won't hurt them ever again now.
Then she threw the gun away and walked away from Kaizer's body. She staggered towards the group.
Section e was scared after seeing what happened and the murderous look she had in her eyes while walking towards them.
She came towards them and raised her fist to fight.
Jay: no one is going to hurt us. I won't let them. I'll protect us.
Thyme: jay stop it. Snap out of it.
Mj: come back jay.
Iris: we know u r in there jay. Snap out of it.
Hearing those words, something snapped inside her. She shook her head violently, torn between her real self and the monster within her.
She stepped back clutching her head. Her hand instinctively held the necklace around her neck.
Jay: no jay. Not them. Don't hurt them.
The monster inside her was winning. The smell of fresh blood too strong for her to keep resisting. She again tried to attack her loved ones. But somehow stopped herself. She couldn't hold on for long so she started hurting herself just to keep herself from hurting her loved ones.
Seeing this, her bodyguards let go of the others. Her team, her brothers and keifer ran to her side.They tried to stop her from hurting herself but she just pushed them away and continued hurting herself.
Jay: NO! stay away from me. I don't want to hurt u. Stay away.
Keifer couldn't watch her like this anymore so even though she kept pushing him away, he hugged her tightly, ignoring the growing pain from his wounds. She tried to push him but failed.
Jay( whispering ): pls don't hurt me.... pls just leave us alone...no.....don't...
Keifer: it's ok jay. It's over now. Everything's fine. No one will hurt u now. And u won't hurt us either. U r our mutya. U will never hurt us. Come back to us jay. Pls. Come back to me.
Jay( whispering ): keifer?
Keifer: it's me jay. It's me. U r fine now. Everything's fine. It's ok.
Jay: I don't want to hurt any of u. Pls leave. I can't fight it anymore.
He tightened the hug.
Keifer: don't say that jay. U won't hurt anyone. U r our mutya, my mutya, my queen remember. I'm not leaving u. None of us r. Come back to us jay. U can do it. Fight the darkness.
Jay( almost inaudible ): I love u.
He kissed her forehead.
Keifer: I love u too jay, until scientists find the end of the universe.
Her pushes turned weaker and then stopped all at once. Her hands fell to her side. He let go of her after sometime and looked at her once he was sure she won't hurt herself anymore.
She was unconscious now. He breathing shallow but steady. Her hands cold. He tried to wake her up but there was no response. They all started panicking.
Keifer: jay. Hey jay wake up.
Thyme: jay wake up.
Aries: why isn't she waking up.
Alys: I don't know. She should be waking up by now. She usually does once she calms down.
Mason( shouting ): get some water.
James ran to the car and returned with some water. Mason took it and splashed some on her. But still there was no response. They rubbed her hands. Still no response.
Mj: damn it jay. I knew this would happen.
Kuya angelo: what? What would happen?
Ren: not the time. We need to get her to the hospital asap.
Keifer swooped her up bridal style and staggered towards the car. He carefully got her inside and sat beside her. The others got in the other cars with some help, leaving yuri and dylan behind and they drove away from that place and towards the hospital.
