Chapter 213 – Once I'm Grown Up, I'll Be Unbeatable
"What the hell is that? Is that… a Rasengan?" Shikamaru said, his jaw dropping as he stared at the massive sphere of energy towering like a small mountain.
"Rasengan," Yusuke said calmly, a faint smile tugging at his lips.
"Damn it, Nii-san's losing it again…" Kakashi muttered before instantly teleporting beneath Yusuke, unsheathing his sword. The blade was immediately coated in a layer of Armament Haki.
"Nii-san…" Kakashi sighed, already bracing himself.
"Relax. It'll be fine," Yusuke said nonchalantly, raising his gigantic Rasengan toward Kakuzu and Hidan.
But the orb was so massive that even Naruto and the others were caught within its range.
"Get up here, now!" Kakashi ordered sharply.
"One Sword Style: Blade Shield!" he shouted, swinging his sword in a wide arc. A colossal barrier of chakra-shaped steel expanded before them.
A blinding light erupted, swallowing the entire battlefield. The ground quaked violently, and everything within sight was flattened by the overwhelming blast.
When the dust finally settled, much of Kakuzu's tendrils were torn apart. Only his Earth Release heart had survived—barely.
As for Hidan, his lower body was completely obliterated, leaving only his upper half writhing and screaming in agony.
Kakashi, protected by his barrier, stood unharmed.
So strong… Kakuzu thought, trembling in fear as he looked up at Yusuke.
That single attack had destroyed three of his hearts at once. If he hadn't instinctively shielded the last one, he would've been dead on the spot.
"Still alive, huh? As expected of an S-Class rogue ninja—you're not easy to kill," Yusuke murmured, stroking his chin as he observed the aftermath.
"Yusuke-sensei, I want to be the one to finish him," Shikamaru said, his tone calm but burning with resolve.
"Oh? Go ahead," Yusuke replied with a lazy grin, hovering up into the air as if to enjoy the show.
In the end, Naruto delivered the final blow to Kakuzu, while Shikamaru buried Hidan alive.
However, Yusuke could still feel it—Hidan wasn't truly dead.
"Ugh!!" Naruto suddenly screamed in pain, clutching his right arm tightly.
"Naruto-kun?!" Hinata cried, rushing toward him in panic.
"What happened?" Kakashi asked, frowning as he examined the boy.
He rolled up Naruto's sleeve and revealed a web of cracks spreading through his arm—like shattered glass beneath the skin.
"Nii-san…" Kakashi called out to Yusuke.
"I'll handle it," Yusuke said calmly, stepping forward. "That technique of yours shouldn't be used carelessly. Even your body can only withstand it a few times before it starts breaking down."
"Got it, Uncle Yusuke… I know it's not complete yet," Naruto said sheepishly, scratching his head.
"If you already know it's incomplete, why push it?" Yusuke asked.
"I didn't have much of a choice…" Naruto admitted weakly.
"Nii-san, do you have a fix for it?" Kakashi asked. "That technique's already S-Class, but the recoil's way too severe."
"The solution's simple," Yusuke said with a shrug.
"What is it?" Naruto asked quickly, eyes full of hope.
"Just throw it," Yusuke replied.
Naruto's face fell instantly. "Throw it…?"
"But Uncle Yusuke, even when I try to, it disappears before I can release it. Are you sure that's possible?" Naruto asked skeptically.
"Of course," Yusuke replied casually. "Like this—"
He raised one hand and formed a Wind Release: Rasenshuriken, then another—Fire Release: Rasenshuriken. He tossed both simultaneously.
The two collided midair, merging and detonating into a brilliant explosion. The nearby hill disintegrated instantly, reduced to dust.
Everyone just… froze.
Was that really an S-Class technique? It looked almost effortless—like a casual C-Class demonstration. And the most absurd part? Yusuke hadn't even used a single hand seal.
"That was Wind Release: Rasenshuriken and Fire Release: Rasenshuriken," Yusuke said, as if explaining something trivial.
"If you want to see more, I can show the other elements too," he added.
In his hands, a Water Release: Rasenshuriken and a Lightning Release: Rasengan formed next.
When he infused Lightning Chakra, the Rasengan stopped spinning smoothly—it crackled and roared, lightning bolts arcing wildly around it.
He fired them both.
The Water Release: Rasenshuriken exploded first, vaporizing instantly into superheated steam that blasted outward in a violent wave.
The Lightning Release one vanished midair, only to reappear a heartbeat later—unleashing a blinding storm of destructive bolts that obliterated everything in its path. The devastation far surpassed even the Wind variant.
"How… how can you even do that?" Naruto asked, eyes wide in disbelief.
Everyone else stood stunned.
Naruto's Rasenshuriken alone was considered a legendary S-Class jutsu that tore apart even its user—and yet Yusuke had just created four variants in seconds, like he was casually playing with toys.
"How? It's simple," Yusuke said plainly. "If your chakra nature matches, just use it."
Everyone collectively frowned.
That explanation made zero sense.
So basically, according to him, anyone who could use chakra could just… do it?
"Nii-san, are you seriously not going to help Naruto refine this technique?" Kakashi said, rubbing his temples. "Not everyone's like you. We're normal people, remember?"
Everyone around turned to stare at Kakashi.
Normal?
They all thought the same thing.
Kakashi—the Copy Ninja, wielder of a perfected Sharingan, master of a thousand jutsu, faster than Might Guy before the Fifth Gate, and an elite swordsman—was calling himself normal?
"Right…" someone muttered under their breath.
Yusuke chuckled lightly.
"Here's what you should do," he said to Naruto. "Go back and have Jiraiya take you to Mount Myōboku. Learn Sage Mode there. That'll let you perfect your technique."
"Sage Mode? What's that?" Naruto asked curiously.
"Sage Mode draws natural energy from the world," Kakashi explained. "It enhances everything—Genjutsu, Ninjutsu, and Taijutsu."
"Kakashi-sensei, you can use Sage Mode too?" Naruto asked in surprise.
"I can, though my chakra's not as massive, so I'm not that good at it," Kakashi said modestly—then instantly entered Sage Mode.
A surge of natural chakra enveloped him, and his aura swelled to the level of a Kage.
"Whoa! That's amazing!"
"So this is Sage Mode, huh? If I didn't see it myself, I'd never believe someone could become that strong!" Ino exclaimed.
"Yeah," Naruto said in awe. "Kakashi-sensei feels way stronger than before."
"In that case…" Ino looked at Yusuke with shining eyes. "If Kakashi-sensei's that strong, then Yusuke-sensei must be on a whole different level, right?"
Yusuke gave a calm shrug. "Well, I haven't used Sage Mode in a long time."
"Why not?" Naruto and Kiba asked at the same time.
"Because I don't need it," Shikamaru answered flatly before Yusuke could.
"Don't need it? Then why even learn it?" Naruto asked, scratching his head.
"Yeah, that doesn't make sense," Kiba added, equally puzzled.
"Because even without Sage Mode," Yusuke said with an amused smile, "I'm still unbeatable. So I figured I'd let others have a chance to catch up."
"Uncle, so back then you learned Sage Mode because you weren't as strong as you are now?" Naruto asked eagerly.
"Of course not," Yusuke replied. "I just learned it for fun. Even without serious training, I was destined to become the strongest as I grew. I studied it out of curiosity, that's all."
Everyone collectively sighed, rolling their eyes in disbelief.
Why… why is this man handsome, strong, and insanely gifted on top of that?
That was the silent thought shared by all present.
No matter how arrogant his words sounded, none of them could deny it—because every single thing he said… was true.
