By ten in the morning, Amanda had already rejected seven interview requests and insulted three without sending the insults.
That was what she called growth.
She sat in the JD Records conference room with her laptop open, glasses low on her nose, and a cup of coffee she had forgotten to drink. The teaser had been live for less than twenty-four hours, but the inbox looked like Luna had announced a world tour, a marriage, and a public confession on the same day.
Every publication wanted the first interview.
Every talk show wanted the first couch appearance.
Every music channel wanted to frame the return as their exclusive moment.
Amanda opened another email, read the subject line, and made a sound that caused Luna to look up from the far end of the table.
"What?"
Amanda did not answer immediately. She read the line again, as if giving it one more chance to stop being stupid.
Then she said, "Someone wants to title the segment, 'How JD brought Luna back from silence.'"
