Valerie whizzed around Golgor with her movement skill.Each time she passed his body she gave his body a small slice.All these cuts infected the orc's mana and body with mana based radiation.
Similar to the first cut she had made they all caused the orc to feel stinging aches and excruciating pains all over his body.If Golgor was an elf and not an orc then he would have lost his sanity from the widespread pain all over.
Golgor was an orc though so he was almost fine.Orcs naturally had a better pain tolerance then untrained elves.Golgor stumbled onto one knee which made Valerie see an opportunity.
She was about to slash out at Golgors throat with her daggers one blink of an eye later but Golgor lashed out with his hammer.The hammer made a wide arc in front of Valerie as she dodged backwards again.
"Shit I messed up the timing" Golgor stopped trying to react to Valerie's speed and instead attempt to hit her where she was going to be but he had messed up the timing.
Golgor began using the mana expulsion method to remove the toxic mana and dead cells out of his body.He wasn't able to heal his wounds though and he was beginning to lose a fair amount of blood.
"I have to find a way to finish this fight quickly."
Meanwhile Valerie was having thoughts of her own.She could bleed the orc out like a pig or she could use something more powerful.There was actually something she wanted to try.It was an idea she gained after Arther gave a speech after Gaia named him chieftain and leader of the human race.
"If you ever need something more powerful try using multiple similar skills at once or using a particular skill in a new unique way.The results can be quite impressive and you likely won't be disappointed.I call this phenomenon skill synergy and skill development."
Arther had encouraged the members of the human race to be more creative with their skills and how they used them.
"If my idea works I'm confident I can get even stronger."
Valerie watched as the orc used a spell to cover itself in rocky armour and entered a combat stance.She smirked in response.That wouldn't help.
Valerie stopped a few metres away from the orc whilst all her skills.Valerie entered a stance that said that she was going to swing one dagger in a wide arc at the orc.She swung using all her skills in tandem.
She used a large amount of mana.Legendary rank radioactive blade enhancement,legendary rank movement of radioactive flow and epic rank destabilisation causing mana mutation were already active but flared far brighter due to the mana she was putting into her skills.Whilst swinging her dagger she activated the legendary rank mana based radiation burst.
Golgor only saw a green flash as a large swath of the area besides him was exposed to mana based radiation.Golgor looked besides him and his eyes widened.Trees had been sliced at the trunk for tens of metres.Most of the plant life was dead or dissolved.
"Hmmmm I missed whilst also making a botched attempt.I feel like I'm getting closer though."
Golgors blood froze in his body.Did she just say that she failed in her attempt but was learning something new.He began to dash towards her.Valerie for her part simply created distance again as she made another attempt.
Golgor was getting a bit faster due to the flow of battle but he was no where near her speed.Valerie made a different stance this time as though she was going for a vertical slash instead of a horizontal slash.
Golgor paused as he watched the movements.They were clearer now but still too fast especially when they flared like they were doing right now.
Golgor thrust himself far to the side with a combination of physicality and magic.It was done as Valerie made her movement.
In less then a blink of an eye later it appeared as though a large area within reality had been sliced in half with a large area surrounding it being exposed to radiation.
Golgor escaped mostly unscathed but his legs were a different story beneath the knee caps.The armour was rusted and in the bare areas it was visible that the orcs skin had peeled away leaving bleeding muscle.Golgor could still use them but it probably wouldn't last that way for long.He would probably need to remove his legs.
He also had a splitting headache as the constant exposure to powerful mana based radiation had hurt his soul and spirit.His decision making was notably slower.Whether or not this would effect the battle was unclear.
