Chapter 188 - Cap.175 - PriceStoleMy...

(Price's POV)

Price had a tired look on his face, the faint sound of construction surrounding the boy with sandy blond hair.

Not only that, but... - Damn it! Hurry up! Hurry up! You're so weak you can't even carry such a light pillar?! We have a deadline, if we don't meet it you can forget about your bonus! - The chicken squawked constantly, flapping its wings at the unhappy-faced workers.

Price didn't even blink, staring at it with indifference and exasperation.

Not far away, Oscar's figure was lifting a large rectangular stone, part of the city wall, posing as if he were doing it with ease, smiling at the female assistants who were chuckling softly at his acting.

Bane, on the other hand, was absorbing the pain of some workers who were complaining of pain. He had learned to absorb this pain and it had a slight healing effect, so he offered to help. The group of workers liked him very much.

Price, on the other hand, holding a clipboard while the world around him moved almost as if it didn't need him, felt increasingly lost as to how he got here.

Shaking his head, he turned to a group of long-armed gorillas, easily carrying materials around, they were his subordinates. Not only gorillas, but hyenas ran around dragging carts of materials, wolves with improvised saddles carried enormous bags on their sides, felines jumped and helped workers reach difficult locations, and birds acted as messengers/lookouts.

There were even more animals helping with the construction, so much so that he even earned the nickname "Zoo Man" among the workers.

Price ignored it, he had to ignore it to maintain his sanity. However, it wasn't his idiotic friends causing trouble or even his animals acting like skilled workers that worried him, but...

-Hey, Captain! The mission to carry rocks gives more XP than the mission to carry cement!- Poseidon shouted.

-Got it! Everyone! Quickly take on the mission of carrying stones!- Jupiter shouted excitedly.

The group of players quickly ran towards Price.

If it had happened earlier, he would have prepared to attack and run, but this had already happened so many times that Price had developed immunity.

-Damn it! The Throne of the Gods is stealing the good missions again! Let's go, before they get us!- a guy named MyFatherBuysCigarettes shouted quickly.

Price had no idea why the Inhumans' names were so strange, but this one was actually good compared to a guy whose name was... "PriceStoleMyCow."

Price was truly shocked when he saw that name, especially when more of them soon appeared: "PriceStoleMyDog", "PriceStoleMyCat", and even "PriceStoleMyBird".

Damn! If it were just one, Price could say it was a coincidence! But several Inhumans started showing up with that kind of name! Oscar even mocked him, telling him to stop stealing other people's animals!

Son of a bitch!

Price took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. There was no point in fighting the Inhumans, they didn't die and seemed to have a screw loose. He could just ignore them.

Until Price saw someone approaching to pick up a "mission", and when he went to register the name, he said, "PriceStoleMyMother."

Price stared at the Inhuman for several seconds, his aura rising with irritation on the verge of collapse, the Inhuman seemed to be torn between wanting to be serious and bursting into laughter.

-I've changed my mind, you're going to clean the communal septic tanks.- Price lowered his head, a vein throbbing in his forehead.

The Inhuman's eyes widened in shock, while the other Inhumans nearby burst into laughter, clearly delighted by the chaos.

Price vowed that when this was over, he would never want to interact with those lunatics again!

On the Floating Dragon, the Xenomorph 1 clone had just arrived.

He approached Lena, who was working on her mechanic suit in her workshop, the woman was so engrossed that she didn't notice him approaching.

Lena's progress has accelerated since she came to the Floating Dragon, but compared to Han Xiao, it was still at a snail's pace, thankfully, that wouldn't last much longer.

Ringo didn't announce himself, he just waited silently to prevent her from losing focus. It was only half an hour later that she let out a sigh of relief after finishing her project.

-You seem to be doing well with this.- Ringo said lightly, making Lena almost jump in fright.

She looked back with wide eyes, but calmed down when she saw Ringo, smiling slightly. -Could you stop scaring me?

-Could you stop looking so focused?- Ringo shrugged.

Lena gave a light chuckle, scratching her neck, but soon perked up again. -You came to see me?

-Yes, but it's just a clone. I came here to give you something good.- he explained.

-Something good?- Lena seemed a little sad to learn that it was just a clone, but she soon became interested in what he had brought. When Ringo said "something good", it was usually something very good, like mechanical knowledge or new projects.

Ringo smiled and approached, placing his hand on her head. -Stay still for a moment, it will be quick.

Ringo took a soul crystal in his other hand and began using the Evolutionary Polymer.

Just as he had envisioned, he fragmented souls with his nightmare power, retaining only Mechanical knowledge. The result meant a lesser enhancement of the soul, but through knowledge alone, Lena's soul would be passively strengthened.

Ultimately, for mechanics, knowledge is power.

The fragment of soul flowed from the crystal into Lena's body. She was still confused, but soon her eyes widened. It was a very strange feeling, as if she remembered spending a lot of time learning knowledge, as if she had actually done it, not simply knowledge placed in her mind.

That's why it was so strange, she had a feeling of dissociation, as if it had happened, but at the same time it hadn't.

But she quickly dismissed the feeling, focusing instead on the memories themselves: the touch and smell of the metal, the movement of the mechanical energy...

So much knowledge at once should have given her a terrible headache, but then again, it was like remembering something she had already learned.

Taking a deep breath, Lena was still in shock. She felt her Super energy surge, her thoughts become clearer, and ideas that had previously seemed confusing became simple...

It was magical.

-What the hell happened?- She asked, confused.

Ringo smiled, happy that the experiment had worked, but he didn't respond. Instead, he focused his evolutionary energy and Nightmare energy on Lena's soul, searching for any flaws, there were none.

He simply strengthened her spirit a little more, taking advantage of being there, then removed his hand from her head.

-How are you? Did you like the gift?- Ringo winked at her.

Lena rolled her eyes, forgetting her question and smiling softly. -Thank you very much.

Ringo nodded, he couldn't directly guide Lena to grow up solely through knowledge, but this made her future much, much easier.

Satisfied, he chatted a little more with Lena before leaving, he still had things to do.
