On Utopia Island, right after hanging up on Nick Fury, Professor X was stunned once again by Bai Ye's new request over the phone.
"That's right," Bai Ye replied calmly. "You can use your psychic power to continuously destroy my consciousness. Think of it as doing me a favor."
Lately, his physical power had been growing like a snowball — bigger and faster every day — but his mental strength was starting to fall behind.If his spirit couldn't keep up with his power, then he'd just have to find another way.And who better than the world's greatest telepath to give his mind a good workout?
Charles hesitated. No one had ever made such a strange request before.
"Don't you think you're a little too old-fashioned in how you use your powers?" Bai Ye said with a teasing smile."All you ever do is control people's minds, but you never train your psychic attack skills.Think of this as mutual practice. Come on, it's good brain exercise — helps prevent Alzheimer's when you get older."
The already-elderly Charles: "…"
After a moment of silence, he finally sighed.
"Alright, but be careful."
"Go all out," Bai Ye reminded him. "Don't worry about me dying or anything.Oh, and don't peek at my memories — unless you want to go insane."
The moment he finished speaking, a surge of powerful psychic energy spanned dozens of kilometers and slammed into his mind, trying to tear his consciousness apart.
But Bai Ye's spiritual strength was no longer what it had been a month ago when he first met Charles.Sitting still with his eyes closed, he became like a reef in the middle of the sea — unmoving despite the waves crashing against him.
Sharp pain pulsed through his brain, but Bai Ye kept his breathing steady, not resisting, letting the psychic energy churn inside his head like a storm.
"Yes… this pain," Bai Ye muttered, a satisfied smile curling his lips."Wherever it hurts, that's where I'm getting stronger."
He glanced at his personal status panel.

"Not bad," Bai Ye thought. "At least four or five times more efficient than my usual training.Once Professor X hits his limit, I'll have him use Cerebro next — that thing can boost his psychic power enough to wipe out billions of minds across the planet."
Charles' voice came through the phone again.
"By the way, S.H.I.E.L.D. called me today."
"S.H.I.E.L.D.?" Bai Ye raised a brow. "What do they want with you?"
"They want me to help them find Hydra agents inside the organization," Charles replied."Do you want to help?"
"Hydra, huh…" Bai Ye thought for a moment."Well, mind-scanning is faster than any interrogation.It's up to you — they're the official types, so just give them some face."
"Understood," said Charles.
Afghanistan — Near the Airbase
Having just finished demonstrating his company's latest missile, Tony Stark was sitting in a jeep, laughing and joking with several soldiers.
"I heard you went to Bai Ye's new-book signing?" one of them asked curiously.
"Of course!" Tony grinned. "And just wait — once I'm back, and the company's internal energy points get distributed, even I'll be a super-hero in no time."
He smirked.
"Maybe I should start thinking about what my hero name should be."
BOOM!
Before they could laugh, a deafening explosion rocked the desert — the jeep behind them went up in flames.
The driver slammed the brakes.
"Stay here!" he barked at Tony before jumping out with the others, weapons ready.
Gunfire erupted all around.Through the shattered glass, Tony saw the chaos outside — then, ignoring the warning, slipped out of the vehicle himself.
A minute later, he stopped dead.In front of him lay a missile — his missile — emblazoned with the Stark Industries logo.
Despair flashed across his face.
BOOM!
Another explosion threw him backward. Shrapnel pierced his chest; pain burned through him as blood gushed out.His vision dimmed, and before losing consciousness, he thought he saw a strange holographic screen flicker before his eyes.
The Multiversal Chat Group
[Tony Stark]Signature: "Maybe it's time I start thinking about my hero name."
"Tony Stark? The chat group's standard configuration!"
In the apocalypse world, the Omniscient and Almighty Immortal stared at the name that had just appeared on the group's roster, eyes lighting up.

"What are the odds? Could that all-knowing bastard be fishing again?"
He suspected the so-called "Omniscient Immortal" had found a way to locate worlds and bait in their inhabitants.But if his memory served, Tony should be in Afghanistan right now…
"Could it really be him?"
He broke free from the training rig with a loud bang, landing lightly on the floor.
"Guess I'll just go see for myself," he murmured. "If it's really the same world, then it's time to return that favor."
"Boss, what's going on?" asked his assistant, Smith.
"I've got something to take care of abroad," Bai Ye said, putting on his coat."Turn off this machine — I won't be needing it anymore."
And in the blink of an eye, his figure vanished — already on his way to Afghanistan.

Ever since that guy "Crimson" joined, no new members had entered for a long time.
